I have been going to Touch of Tranquility (Cecelia in particular) since January. She is absolutely the best massage therapist I’ve ever gone to!! She is so intuitive and takes the time to get to know you what your needs are. She has the education and experience to pinpoint problem areas and work them out within the time of your appointment. If you feel like chatting- she chats…. If you prefer silence- she works in silence. She is wonderful in every way, and I won’t see anyone else. 😁

Best massage I’ve had in a LONG time. Cecilia was a dream to work with on the table and reception was so kind and helpful when dealing with a new client and a gift card. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been here a few times and always had Kathleen. The first few times was a great experience, but the last time was in Oct 2023 and I’m still in a lot of pain!I had a small pinch in my neck that I mentioned to Kathleen. For some reason, at the end of my massage, she decided to yank my neck. It literally took my breath away and she told me she didn’t want to tell me she was going to do it because she didn’t want me to “tighten up”. This has created months of ongoing pain, as well as PT, and I am still having major pain and discomfort!

I have been getting massages for years elsewhere but someone gave me a gift certificate here and I’m so glad! The place is very nice, and the staff was friendly. Yari was my massage therapist, and she was phenomenal! This was one of the best massages I have had and I’d highly recommend her!

My wife and I went in for a couples massage last week. Ali worked on my wife and Heather worked on me, and I must say both were amazingly skilled and attentive to our needs. Heather really made an effort to find what needed attention. I really appreciated that, as its rare that I have a therapist discussing at length what areas I need work on. Its been rare Ive had a massage therapist so in tune with what I needed.Ali was the same with my wife, and we are very appreciative of both of their work!We will definitely be back!

I have been looking for a good massage since I moved to Gilbert 1.5 years ago and I FINALLY found my massage therapist ♥️ the previous massage I had left me bruised (my skin is thin so hard pressure doesn’t work). Ali has the PERFECT pressure and I was left feeling super relaxed and my lower back pain was GONE! I can’t wait to see her again 😊

I have been coming to Touch of Tranquility, for well over a decade. Today I had a facial with Heather, and a massage with Kathleen. (Unbeknownst to me, the owner)! Heather was kind and talked to me about different skincare options, and gave me a few great samples. Kathleen let me know why a few problem areas were happening, and gave great suggestions as to how I could fix them. I felt incredible after, and I highly recommend Touch of Tranquility. Do not hesitate to try them, as it has been a wonderful experience, every time I go! Thank you!

The massage therapists were nice enough. The atmosphere was very comfortable. There was just a lot of talking during the session that I wasnt used to there being.

Absolutely phenomenal! Massages are a great way of either rewarding or pampering self. Yet Emily raised the bar! I rarely do reviews, never one within the hour of receiving services, but I could not allow time to pass before showing even more appreciation! I am destined to return, thank you so much Emily for your dedication to your craft!!!!!

My wife and I made an appointment for a couples massage. We got the add on romance package, (it was paid for by my job, so why not lol) we have our anxieties.. everything was perfect. We both feel amazing and can’t say enough good things.. honestly. We’ll be back

The best Spa Day. Amanda and Ashley were fantastic. They were very professional yet down to earth and polite. I had a massage, mini facial, back facial, hand and foot treatment and eye lash lift and tint. I felt very comfortable the entire time. The silk robe was amazing and the treatments were top notch. Update 6/6/2023: I came back for another visit after someone reached out to me about my previous experience. I got a massage today and was so, so incredibly happy! My massage was the BEST Ive ever had. I saw Mari. Her style is firm and deliberate, and she clearly knows what shes doing. I have a gift certificate I need to use, so I will be back very soon to see Mari again! I also stocked up on my favorite Eminence products. Im happy I gave this place another chance. The person at the front desk was also much more welcoming than the last time I came in.---------------------------------------------------My first experience here was a bit underwhelming. My husband purchased a Spice of Life package for me for Christmas and I was really excited. Ashley did my facial and foot massage. My facial was absolutely incredible, and I plan to return to Ashley for that service, but the foot massage was just okay... nothing special and not worth paying extra for the service. However, my massage was very disappointing and uncomfortable. My masseuse was incredibly unprofessional - trying to sell me things for her personal side business, cutting my massage short, mentioning that she lost track of time, telling me how she was let go from her previous job, etc. I absolutely could not relax. I felt anxious the entire time and her technique was terrible. I did not feel like I was in responsible or capable hands.I will try Touch of Tranquility once more for a massage, as I understand every masseuse is different. I will definitely be booking a different masseuse, and my next massage will determine if I ever come back. I regularly buy my skincare from ToTM, however, as I am a major fan of the Eminence brand, but I can just as easily order these products online. I will update my review after my second visit in a few weeks. I hope to be able to add stars and report back with a better experience. My next visit may be my last.I also think the staff at the front desk could be more professional. They always seem curt, short, in a hurry, and uninterested in being on the phone. I do not feel that there is any element of customer service provided other than the bare minimum.

I went in a few weeks ago for a full body massage and hesitated to write this as I have never written a review before. However, with a luxurious purchase for most, that is also very personal, I keep reflecting on what a disappointing experience this was. The space was extremely cold for my morning massage and I was not greeted by my masseuse at all when I was called back. She asked me questions about my massage preferences and when I told her my pain points she laughed and told me that what I was asking for was just a “regular massage.” She told me to get under the covers and she left. I have been to spas before but if I hadn’t she didn’t give me any instructions and I wouldn’t have known what to do, and this didn’t feel like a spa-like experience. I have to say my massage was nice but her poor treatment continued and she began to tell me what was causing my issues. However when I asked for resolutions she chuckled and said it “took a long time to get like this so it will take a long time to fix.” And didn’t recommend stretches when asked. Mind you I am only 23 years old. She also criticized the way my back and shoulders looked which is beyond inappropriate for a masseuse when someone goes in for a relaxing massage. The room stayed pretty cold throughout and I left feeling like I had been made to feel uncomfortable and treated unkindly. I have never written a review before and I have been here once before 2 years ago and had a good experience, I have also gotten multiple people gift cards here, but because of the nature of spas and massages this experience has stuck with me and I’d like to make management and potential patrons aware. I would recommend going somewhere else to feel a spa experience, as this location is far from warm and friendly.

Ive had a bunch of massages before but this was by far the worst experience Ive had. Courtney was my massage therapist. She was nice but thats where the good experience ended. I marked on the paper to go light and it was for relaxation but that was the most painful massage ever. I told her twice to go lighter during the massage and she did for maybe 30 seconds before going right back to hard. The second time I asked she said jokingly, I bet you didnt think I was going to give you a deep tissue. Uhhh yeah, because thats not what I wanted. She lost track of time and I didnt even get a full body massage so I ended up on stomach and face for 90 minutes which was painful. She also talked way too much, even though I wasnt responding, trying to give her a hint. Lastly, she picked up my legs stretched them which was just bizarre to have happen during a massage.

What an wonderful, relaxing experience. Sarah is amazing!! She has created such a peaceful atmosphere that you feel weightless and burden free. She provides the perfect touch that puts your mind at ease and relaxes every muscle in your body. I will be recommending Sarah to all of my friends and family. Thank you for creating such a tranquil experience.

Best massage I have ever had! Ethelyn was so full of knowledge and so attentive to my specific needs. Hands down 10/10!

Had a great massage by Emily. She used some new techniques I havent had used before. Unfortunately, Kelly (Mgr) at the front desk rubbed me the wrong way in wanting to pass along her marketing costs to a new client. Quoted $70 on the phone. She took away the new client discount because I used a SpaFinder card, which was a gift to me. Its not my fault they chose a marketing strategy that reduces there revenue for a first time client. Its called a loss leader. $15 cost her business future revenue and from keeping her book full for her massage techs. 1st time, last time.In response to your reply. The Spafinder was a gift to me from someone else. How they purchased the gift certificate should not effect me, especially a first time customer. You withdrawn/ took away my first time discount. Unfortunately, that is the only time I will be visiting you. First impressions go a long way.

I have been getting facials regularly for about a year at Touch of Tranquility. Sarah is such a delight and I look forward to my treatments. She listens to me and addresses concerns I have with my skin. She is very knowledgeable about the products and has really helped improve my skin. This is a great place for some self care. Love it!

I have had many massages in my life. From five star places and some not so five star and everywhere in between. Kathleen gave me the BEST massage I have ever had! Hands down!This is a relaxing and calming environment. The room was very clean and smelled so good!I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and felt like she was so in tune with my body. She knew precisely what I needed!I will be sure to come back! Everyone I know will know about this place! I highly recommend!

I took my mom to get a massage for her birthday and decided to get one too. I was not at all disappointed. Jess did an amazing job and really detailed the tension I had and where it was at. We had great conversation and she was extremely professional. The overall experience was muchmore than I could have hoped for. 10/10 recommend.

I just had a myofacial massage with Courtney and she is awesome! She had the right amount of pressure and I felt so relaxed afterwards. She did a piriformis release on me as well which was much needed since I sit at my desk all day and work out often. I cant wait to go back!

I had a facial and hot stone massage a few days ago and had to write this I am not normally a review writer. I have had low back pain for decades now I always associated this with my menstrual cycle. I have been told by a general practitioners it was a muscle spasm my ob/gynecologist thought it was due to my tilted uterus or fibroid which an ultrasound confirmed I dont have. I just got off birth control at the age of 46 as I just felt I shouldnt have to take them they did help slightly with cramps. To treat myself when time and money allows I go get a massage a few times a year. Friday in the midst of enjoying my hot stone massage and good conversation the masseuse simply said your hips are misaligned you should see a chiropractor. This has changed my life I finally know whats wrong then the lady who did my facial recommended a place here in Gilbert. Thank you to these ladies I will be back!! Extraordinary service

I love massages but never get them because I like a firmer massage and most time I get a nice rub but no massage. That all changed with my most recent experience with Kathleen. It was by far the best massage I have ever had. It was firm and therapeutic. If you have been looking for a firm and a little pain for the benefit later she knows how to do it. She has a counter part that does similar work.Already booked my next one. Straight phenomenal.

My husband and I have had several couples massages here. We went once for an anniversary gift and they had champagne and strawberries waiting for us in our lovely room. It was so amazing. Literally every massage therapist I have been to has been so sweet, friendly and personable. They give the most therapeutic, relaxing massage ever. Now I need to start trying out the facials etc. they offer. Aside from the massage itself, the spa is sooo gorgeous. Super calm and comforting. I love how it smells too. Their products are high quality and I feel so vibrant when I leave. I am a member for life!

My husband and I both see Yari here for bi-weekly manages. She is such a fantastic massage therapist and has helped me recover tremendously post major spine surgery. I am so grateful to her and the amazing care she provides! Thank you!

Ive been in twice now for a massage. The space is very nice and quiet. The massage was fantastic. The staff seems to really understand how the body works and get the knots out. Defiantly will be back again.

We had the couples massage this weekend. Its been ages and it felt great. I need to do this more often! The heated tables and towels were a nice touch. The atmosphere - smells, music, and lighting were very conducive to relaxing. Prices are reasonable. Thank you!

Ive been coming here for 10yrs now. Love this place. Its so calm and relaxing. The prices are on point with other places and worth it. Ive liked all the therapists Ive been with. Ive done a variety of services. My favorite is the full body salt scrub. Everyone is well knowledged in what they do.

Not the experience I was hoping for. Cleanliness was good, staff friendliness was good. I booked an appointment for my birthday for some relaxation. I met with the massage therapist and we discussed the reason for me booking (which was relaxation) and my preference for level of pressure (which was light). Once she began massaging, she talked for the first 10 minutes. She asked me questions about my weekend plans, her thoughts on when covid first happened and how the profession had to adjust with social distancing, a funny meme her boyfriend showed her, and so on. I was polite but brief with my responses, hoping shed catch my vibe that I wanted a quiet environment. Her level of pressure was anything but light. I let her knew a couple times that it was too much and she apologized, saying she was spacing out. Im not sure what she was trying to do to the side of my glute, but it was extremely painful and not enjoyable. She made a comment saying, I knew your muscles could handle more than light pressure. I really thought this was one big prank. I could not wait for the 60 minutes to be over so I could leave and not be in pain. It was a very odd experience and I wish I had gone elsewhere. Do not recommend.

First time going to a massage place and I’m glad I picked this one! Since it’s my first time I got a good discount! The lady who did my massage was friendly and not awkward. Very relaxing experience. I’ll definitely be going back and I highly recommend!

I had gone in about a month ago to schedule an appointment for my daughter, granddaughter and myself. The lady at the front desk was on the phone....no acknowledgement. I stood back to give her space while on the phone. When she was done still no acknowledgement so I approached the front desk. I said hi and inquired. She asked for when and i said a couple weeks out is fine. her response then was we dont have 3 masseuses scheduled at a time and continued to look at her screen. awkward silent moment...so I said thanks and left. maybe they didnt need the new business. my first impression is everlasting. Glad to read most of your customers are happy...as ill never go back or recommend based on my meet and greet experience.

This place is top notch and detail oriented. It is all the small touches that make for such an amazing experience. The hot towels, the music, the essential oils, even the weight of the sheets, made this such an incredible massage. We did a couples massage with Sandra and Aracelis. Both the masseuses were so professional, they used techniques we have never experienced before. They were very kind and intuitive, and made the massage unique to our specific ailments. Definitely will be going back!

Been getting massages for years and just saw this place for walk ins...they took all 3 of us for 60min massages.Now this is THE place we’ve decided is our favorite and our new regular massage place!Beautiful rooms, tranquil and relaxing...the aromatherapy scents and calming music all perfect! The staff were just as friendly, kind, respectful and professional as can be :)Warm cloths on your feet and hands...*sighs happily...None of us wanted to leave lolEach of us truly and thoroughly enjoyed our massages! I really enjoyed my 60 min facial on my birthday a few days ago. Unfortunately I cant remember her name but she did a great job and seemed to really care about my skin. She made me feel very comfortable. Four days later and my face is still glowing. The front desk was friendly as well. The atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming. Ive been looking for a good spa since I moved here 3 years ago. I found Touch of Tranquility last October, when a friend came out for a visit. The place is so pretty and calming. I was relaxed just from the smells! We both truly enjoyed our massages.The receptionist area could be a little better with customer service and letting you know whats going to happen. But overall, this place is wonderful. I have found my spa!

Without a doubt the best massage of my life. I never knew I had so many knots in my back and around my body. My massage therapist targeted every single one of those knots and was able to get them out. Even had a sense of Euphoria after it was done! 10/10 would definitely recommend going here!

I was so blessed to meet with Yari! She is such a great therapist and I will be a forever client. If you have not booked Yari yet, you should most definitely do so! The whole place is amazing and the other therapist are too! You can never go wrong. Blessed they are still in business!

I cant say enough good things about the quality of the massage you will receive at this spa! Not a single area gets ignored. Kathleen is by far an artist in the massage industry. I hope you get the experience the difference between a true massage artist and someone who just rubs you the wrong way!

I thoroughly enjoyed my mini facial today. It was 30 minutes of great relaxation. Krystin did a wonderful job with the facial massage and the products. There was no hard sell of the products afterward but she did provide a list of the products used. To my amazement it included a massage of the forearms and hands also. I thought it was a great value. However the instructions I was given for getting there were not that clear and I was a little late. Thanks to my son for a great gift.

I was in AZ for a vacation and really wanted a massage. Being a massage therapist myself I’m probably a little more critical than I used to be. I had a PHENOMENAL experience! Jessica (also the name of the MT) was amazing, knowledgeable and professional, the whole atmosphere was calming and clean. Everything I expect and respect about a business. Thank you!

Touch of Tranquility was able to accommodate 6 massages for a girls day birthday celebration. Im sorry I dont know the name of all the ladies who took care of us, but they were all amazing! We all raived about our massages afterwards. It was our first time visiting, and definitely wont be the last. Would absolutely recommend!

I chose this place based on the good reviews. I thought I bought my wife 4 hrs of pampering for her birthday, but it didnt work out that way. I also included a 90 min massage for myself.My massage was pretty average, which is less than I expected based on the cost and the many good reviews. My wife was less fortunate. My wife had a masseuse that was saved by God, and was very excited to share her faith. That would be okay if the masseuse was able to stay focused on her job. My wife is missing the muscles on one side of her neck, and told the masseuse not to press there. She also instructed that she only wants a feel good massage, so dont try working out any knots, as it is painful and they wont go away. But the masseuse went into auto-pilot and started pushing on all the unprotected veins in my wifes neck and also kept going after knots. It turned out to be a very painful and bruising experience. She hurt for 4 day after.In addition to the massage and facial, I also bought a couple add-on services for my wife. Turns out the add-on treatments were combined with the primary treatment. In other-words, the add-ons take time away from the primary treatment.

Didnt even get in for a massage. I have a spafinder gift card and they wouldnt give me the new client price because i was using a gift card. Its not like i was getting another deal or using a coupon, I received it as a gift from my boss. It rings up just like cash, they still get the money. I get massages regularly and i was excited to try a new place, however, poor customer service wont bring in new clients. The gal on the phone didnt even try, when I said Im not interested, she said ok and hung up. Guess they dont need new clients that bad.

Kathleen, before you choose to berate a client, get your facts straight! I never said I was unhappy because of pricing! Shame on you as a business owner! Kathleen, clearly your staff has transitioned, and Kelli needs a crash course in customer service 101, yesterday! I know what the “spa experience” should resemble, I spent a week at Miraval!! Based on the reviews I read After my visit, I wasn’t too far off base in my thoughts and I completely understand why. My wife and I were able to sneak away from our 3 kids for a few hours this past Saturday,we booked a couples massage and were extremely excited to go here , we told the receptionist who we were only to find out they had misbooked us using both of our first names and our last name under one time slot so they were not able to provide us the massages, it was such a disappointment that we just left. BE Cautious when booking here and maybe confirm your appointment a day in advance just to be safe!!!!

Had a great first massage here so I decided to book a second session one week later. Email correspondence with the booking person seemed to indicate my reservation was successful, but after driving pretty far to get there I was told my appointment didn’t exist and that they couldn’t accommodate me. Most likely will not be coming back.

I always read reviews and think most people are overreacting for the most part, but this was one of the worst massages I have ever had. I have a membership at Hand and Stone but my Boyfriend surprised me with a hot stone massage at Touch of Tranquility. I was SO excited to try this place out and he knows I LOVE my massages. Everything about this experience was horrible from the minute I walked in the door. I cant speak for my Boyfriend because he seemed to enjoy his massage very much, which is excellent. Hes been here twice and said his first time was so amazing, that he had to go back. When I tried to call to schedule a couples massage to surprise him (back in March), I was rudely greeted on the telephone and laughed at that I was calling for a next day couples massage, so even though they ended up having availability I did not accept. I would have never tried this place, except that my boyfriend surprised me with this.The building itself is okay. The room I was in was noisy and its rather outdated. I must have been next to the break room because I could hear conversations and loud stomping. My Boyfriends therapist came out and greeted him and shook his hand. About 5 minutes later, my therapist came out and didnt even introduce herself, no handshake and she didnt tell me her name. She took me into the room and asked me a few questions, told me that the hot stone massage was only about 10 minutes and its just on the back, which is weird because Ive had hot stone massages where they do your whole body at other places. The hot stones were in a tiny crockpot that was plugged in right next to the bed. My therapist kept banging them together the entire time, thats how I knew they were there. Massage itself was terrible. I was absolutely soaked in layers of oil and Im not sure she even knew what she was doing as she just kept shaking me and rubbing up and down. There was no actual relaxing massage, nothing felt good at all. Just felt like up and down rubbing on my back. The hot stone were scorching and after telling her they were too hot the first time, they somewhat cooled down but were still scorching hot the other times. Nothing about the massage was memorable. Therapist kept bumping into me, sighing uncontrollably the entire time like she was being forced to do this and was bored out of her mind and clanked and threw the stone all around in the crockpot. When the massage was over, she told me to get dressed and meet her outside. I probably took about 2-4 minutes to get dressed. I walked out of the room and no one was there so I stood there for probably about 15 seconds and decided to just walk myself to the front. She came out a short time later to give me my water.The girl at the front desk asked how everything was and I told her it was OK, not a great massage at all. All she did was gave me a card and told me about how this other lady there was great and when I come back I should see her. Ha...when I come back. She proceeded to ask me if my boyfriend and I would be paying together or paying separately. Now, I have had this happen before at another Spa and when I told the Owner he was completely apologetic and offered me another massage to make up for my terrible experience, free of charge. I cannot believe that we actually paid for this. When the girl at the desk asked me what kind of gratuity I would like to add, it took everything in me not to tell her that I really wanted to give my rude, inconsiderate therapist a penny, because thats what I felt that she deserved.Am I slightly high maintenance? Absolutely. Do I expect my massage to be wonderful and professional and relaxing when were paying $80 for a hot stone massage? ABSOLUTELY. I work in customer service myself and never would I let a client walk away feeling the way that I felt. This place and massage truly ruined my day for about an hour and upset my boyfriend with the lack of respect. Dont waste your money here. This was anything but a Touch of Tranquility.

I really wanted to like this place. My family gave me an hour message as a gift since my back had been hurting. It started off standard, walk into lobby, check in, escorted to room and get undressed then go under the covers to start. I just wanted my back done but there was a lot of arm, chin, and sometimes face message. She rubbed oil all over my arms, neck, back, some of my face, and hands. By the time it was 45 minutes in I was having a reaction because the oil was PEPPERMINT! The whole message ended up being an hour of her venting, rather than relaxing, and all I could do was try to rub the oil off with a hot cloth in the end. Had to take a shower as soon as I got home from the itching on my skin. My back didnt get fixed, and wasted $60+. If I ever get a message again Im not going here.

Very impressed with this place. The massage was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. They have a lot of options on their website and they were nice on the phone. I enjoyed them much more than the chain massage places.

My husband and I have gone to this spa for several years now and experienced poor customer service from the front desk at nearly every visit. We continued to go because we enjoyed the therapists but today was the last straw. The appointment was booked for a 90min massage and confirmed verbally by the receptionist at the time of booking. When the email confirmation arrived only the day before the appointment it read 60min. We contacted the spa only to essentially be called liars by the manager who answered our calls then laughed at us for asking if we would be charged for a late cancellation. If you dont mind rude staff and disrespectful owners, then by all means go here. Getting a massage should relieve your stress not be the cause of it! Im more relieved to know Ill never have to worry about dealing with these people ever again.

Im not sure what my masseuses name was. Some heros dont wear name tags or capes but she was amazing! My wife and I have been here several times and its truly an incredible experience every time. Dont pass them by. Schedule youre massage and get ready for a slice of heaven

I’ve played or coached football for the last 53 years. My neck , lower back and shoulders are all messed up. Never have I had a massage therapist locate as many sore and tender hidden spots as Aracelis did. I had instant relief with her gifted hands and walked out of there feeling like I was 35 years old and ready to run a marathon. This was THE BEST massage I have ever experienced! Ask for Aracelis Gonzalez I wish I could take her back to Florida with me. David

This place is so excellent. The staff is polite, the massages and facials are high quality but not expensive. The atmosphere is very relaxing and pleasant. I recommend it to all my friends without reservation, and best of all they take SpaFinder gift cards. Strongly recommend.

This is my go-to place for massages. I always have a great experience here! The location is very clean and well kept. The staff is always friendly, especially Jess, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

I’ve been going to Touch of Tranquillity for about 9 years. Wonderful pricing, great massage therapists. Kathleen (owner) and Jillian are fantastic, the the right amount of pressure and relaxation.

I have had many massages at various massage salons throughout my life. Touch of tranquility is the best place in the valley to get an outstanding massage! Their service is consistent, professional and AMAZING! I recommend the 90 minute massage.

I had a maternity massage with Katie am very happy! She was great and professional. Not to mention the price was great! Will be using her again!

The massages are always good they seem like theyre always understaffed though. They raised their prices by $15 and really didnt notify the customers or put a sign up or anything so that was a surprise at checkout.so unfortunately my massage therapist did not get a tip because all I had on me was cash and so the $15 that was added to the price was her tip

Finally!! A real deep tissue massage.. just got done my first message here, absolutely amazing, my only regret is I didnt book for more than a hour. Ive been saying that was so good! Since I left.

Tyler is awesome! I have a very demanding job so my muscles get sore and tight. Tyler always gets the knots out of my neck and back. I highly recommend Tyler. He is the best!
