D Best Massage & Head Spa

I just had my massage 3 days ago and just walking out of my hair spa now. Im so grateful my husband set this birthday surprise up for me! The ladies were amazing and the service met up to the name! Theyre D Best. I will definitely be coming back and bringing the hubby along next time.

I really did enjoy my experience (I got the head massage). I do wish I would have extended the length of it but unfortunately I had an appointment after. My only suggestion is maybe less scratching and rubbing of the fingertips and more of a massage technique. BUT other that minor detail I loved it, 10 out of 10 and I will definitely be doing this on a regular.On a side not. My hair felt absolutely amazing after. I thought my hair was good beforehand but WOW! I literally went out and bought the brand of products they use 😍

I should have read the reviews so I understood what I was signing up for. The 90 minute hair treatment/massage was just ok. I agree with the other reviews that the gloves pull and my scalp started to get irritated. All the repetition of “scratching” was irritating at the 5 minute point. I would have preferred more of a massage than a pulling and scratching. At the end of the service she did a “partial” blow dry and asked if that was ok. I didn’t want to complain because I wasn’t sure if that was the normal operating procedure, but after looking through other reviews and videos this is not what others suggested. While checking out he did offer for the lady to take me back again and finish, but I declined. I’m still not sure what the point of a half blow dry is especially when I paid $10 for the extra hair. Please be prepared to leave and go home to style your hair. I wouldn’t do this again, but will try out the massage packages next. Massage part was great and I wish there was more of that. Very nice and professional staff.

I visited for the first time yesterday as a birthday treat, and let me tell you- it was fantastic. I’m sorry, I didn’t get my tech’s name but, she was fantastic. She explained the process thoroughly.From the start of the process to finish, it was the best. It was the most relaxing experience. I highly recommend this if you ever get the chance.

Massage was sooo great! The massager tools, the massage therapist, the temp of the water, the shampoos and scents, and I was warm and cozy the whole time! I get cold so easily so that was a little concern for me. Only thing I I didn’t absolutely love was the music, which was repetitive and sounded cheap. But everything else was wonderful!

I cannot recommend this place enough. You would be doing a disservice to yourself by passing up this place! My sister and I came into town late the night before but wanted to spend time together with a relaxing activity. We took a chance the morning of and got accommodated easily. After a mistake on our part of going to the wrong location, they still adjusted our appointment to accommodate us, which in and of itself is unheard of and super kind! My head spa service was done my Amber, who was gentle and had magic hands I swear. They were so professional, gentle and kind from the reception desks to the masseuse herself. Will definitely be returning for more of their services!

From beginning to end the staff was very kind and pleasant. The scalp massage over all was very relaxing, my scalp thanks the staff for doing such a great job! Loved it.

LOVED my experience here! This was such a relaxing massage! I was there for a 60 minute head massage and it was the perfect amount of time to relax. They used very nice shampoo products and my hair felt so smooth and healthy after it was dried by Mia. So grateful for how kind and genuine all of the team were! I just finished my 90 minute head spa by Amber and WOW. My hair has never felt so soft! It was a very relaxing experience. The facility is clean and quiet. The staff is very professional! Will be back!

Amazing experience! I was skeptical of trying another place, as my 1st experience was horrible!! My daughter brought me as a surprise, and Im so glad I gave it another try. The ladies were so respectful, they question your likes. Which is great, because i dont like hard pressure. My daughter and I had the couples room. There was 3 of us that made appointments and we all walked out so relaxed!! Please give them a try. We are going to book a message next time we come.10 out of 10!

Are you kidding me?! That was amazing. I got the 90 min head spa and it was wonderful. The owners are so sweet and cute. I’m almost 8 months pregnant and they did their best to make sure I was comfortable and let me adjust as needed. Would love to go back for more!

If you’re going to make an appointment, make sure you do it over the phone!!I made two appointments online. I received confirmation emails indicating a text message would be sent to provide a link for the deposit payment. I received no text message or phone call, but then received an email that both appts were cancelled because I didn’t pay the deposit. And when I called the location neither appt spots were available any longer.

I had the most wonderful head and deep tissue massage with Leslie! She has magic hands! My sister and I were visiting from out of state and off we ever get the chance to come back, we will definitely be returning clients. This was my first real head massage and it was magnificent! AMAZING, 10 STARS. My wife and I did a 60 minute head spa, because it was our first time and wanted to see how it was. We both wish we would have done a 90 minute head spa. I cant believe how relaxing and therapeutic it is. We have already booked a 90 minute for next weekend. Of you are wondering if its woth it. I promise you it is.

My husband surprised me with a 90min scalp massage at D Best Massage & Head Spa for our anniversary. Let me tell you, it was AMAZING! I had the amazing technician Glow and my husband had Mia. My husband and I highly recommend and will be letting all of our family & friends know about this amazing place. On vacation in Arizona and was in desperate need of a massage. Found D Best Massage to be open on a Sunday. That is unheard of in Buffalo, New York where I live. I had the head spa treatment and a deep tissue massage. Mia delivered the best full body deep tissue massage I’ve ever gotten. The head spa treatment was so amazing also! Really great service and I highly recommend Mia and her magical hands😊

I have never received a massage before, I’m recovering from a recent injury and experiencing a lot of soreness and stiffness. I came in not knowing what to expect, and Cassandra made me so comfortable and I could tell immediately she is very good at her job. She worked on me yesterday, and today is the best I have felt physically in weeks. I already scheduled another appointment for next week, and plan on returning often. My only regret is booking 60 minutes instead of 90. Very happy with my experience and would recommend to anyone.

My bestie and I tried their 60 minute head massage on the 4th of July. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the products used were organic and nourishing, the massage WAS AMAZING. If i could give them 10 stars i would!! If you are thinking about trying them out JUST DO IT! Worth every penny. I felt even more relaxed than i do with a full body massage. They massaged my face, head, neck, shoulders and arms. After the massage they even dried my hair. Hands down the most relaxing experience in the valley!!

I had the most amazing time with the 60 minute head spa!! Glow was FANTASTIC and made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. She went over everything with me in the beginning then just let me relax the entire time. This is definitely an experience that a person who loves head scratches would love but you do REALLY need to like those kinds of scalp massages, for me it was perfect but idk if it’s for everyone! Went with a group of four. They were amazing to accommodate us and each person haso an amazing experience. Each person was beyond pleased with the experience. I myself asked for level 10 pressure and they did not disappoint. Also probably the cleanest my hair has ever been.

It’s just ok. I booked 90 minutes and only got 60. The person who did my head spa session felt rushed. I felt like it was an inconvenience to be there. While I was super thrilled to have my first experience, the poor exchange of energy left me feeling rushed and not relaxed at all.Being a licensed cosmetologist, I don’t care for the poor the quality of products they use. The products leave a “Pantene” feel on the hair and are definitely not professional products.They should definitely explore doing professional blowouts after each treatment and using professional products. The service provider would get a much larger tip.

I had D Best massage of my life with Leslie. I had been suffering with arm numbness for the past 7 months and one visit with her has resolved this nagging problem! In my opinion, the head spa was just a fun birthday treat for my daughter that I would never pay to do again, but that full body massage was 10/10! I live an hour away, and I will be back.

I struggled with the idea of leaving this review, because I know the impact that reviews can have on a business. But ultimately, I felt it was the right thing to do so that there is transparency for others.I’ll start with the positives. I was able to book my appointments the day before and received immediate confirmation, and pleasant / friendly messages from the business. In person, everyone there mirrored the friendly and professional demeanor I received initially in those texts. And while that is great and what almost prevented me from sharing my experience, I will next go into the reasoning behind my rating.I saw this business on Instagram and the videos of the head spa looked amazing. As a busy mom, I rarely have (or make) time for myself. I decided to book a 60 min massage and 60 min head spa treatment for the “ultimate self care Sunday”. I was so excited!The massage was fine. The woman was very nice and did check in’s with me about the pressure throughout the massage, but otherwise let me relax to the music - which I appreciated.However, the head spa service that I had following the massage was anything but relaxing (and that was the part of the appointment I was most looking forward to). I did not receive the hair analysis, which I was looking forward to, because the machine wasn’t working. Disappointing but I understand these things can happen. So once the head spa service began, my hair felt as if it was being ripped out of my head with every movement. I believe this was due to the gloves, so she removed them. The head massage wasn’t bad, but not comparable to a wash at a Dry Bar or even your local hair stylist. I could’ve honestly bribed one of my kids into doing this for me for much less than the price I paid for this service. It was stressful because with every movement I felt my hair becoming more tangled and little strands being ripped out.Afterwards, I could feel and see the tangled mess my hair had become. There was a little leave in conditioner sprayed (thankfully) but I was pretty shocked that was the only product available or used at this point - especially given the state of my hair in that moment. No heat protector spray before using a hot blow dryer. No detangler available or serum. The brush used was not the best and I’d recommend having different brushes available for different hair types. By the end, my hair was not fully brushed or dry, but when she asked me if it was fine - I said ok and I would finish it myself. Mostly because I was worried about how much hair had been pulled out already.I’m not the type to complain or cause a scene. I tipped as if the service was great. And when they asked me before I left how it was, I said it was good and left, but sat in my car for a good 20 mins disappointed before driving home. It’s hard to justify the money I spent and I am sad that I am left feeling guilty for trying to do something nice for myself for once. I would not have felt this guilt if the experience was what the videos on Instagram show.

Honestly my experience here has turned me off of buying any massage from Groupon ever again. I’ve heard horror stories about beauty services but I didn’t realize how bad a massage could be.There is honestly a lot more to the story but to sum things up:1) Massage therapist gave creepy vibes and made inappropriate comments. It is very awkward to be told how “tight” your leg muscles are over and over. He also would not stop talking.2) I specifically asked that the focus of the massage be my hands, shoulders, neck, head & upper back. Instead, at least an hour of the 90 minutes was spent on my legs (specifically my thighs).3) I was super uncomfortable with the draping and couldn’t relax because I had to make a constant effort to keep myself covered up. There was a point during the massage that I believe the massage therapist may have exposed himself but I honestly couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes while in such a vulnerable position. I just had a gut feeling - not a good one.Worst of all, I didn’t catch the massage therapist’s name. If I had, I would 100% make a complaint to the board of massage therapy. I’ve seen similar reviews online now that I’ve looked for them amongst all of the “good” reviews, and I now think I am just one of several women who have had such an experience here. It’s been over a month since I received this massage and the looming feeling of discomfort hasn’t gone away. Not to mention I left the massage feeling more tense than when I arrived. There was no relief of my neck/shoulder/back pain whatsoever. There were no other staff members present that I could see by the time my massage was over and I actually could not get out of the building fast enough as I realized that. I even had a split second fear that I was going to approach the door and it would be locked when I was walking toward the exit. Overall just the worst, most unprofessional & uncomfortable experience I have ever had.

Glo is amazing! It was my first time doing head spa and she walked me through everything. I felt so comfortable with her. I definitely recommend going with Glo. She got the knot on the right side of my neck out.

I had the most amazing experience with my first treatment at this spa. The spa is clean and fresh. The staff super friendly. My appointment was right on time. I have never had a head spa treatment before and wow! So relaxing.

I came here with my mom for her birthday surprise. The head massage wasn’t relaxing. They basically fast scraped/scratched my head with their fingernails as opposed to slowly and lightly massaging with finger tips. I thought they were exfoliating and kept waiting for the massage part to start. The rest of the 45 mins was them washing my hair which i can do myself at home for free. They were kind, but the massage just wasn’t relaxing and my mother and i left feeling disappointed.

I’ve been watching the videos for Chinese headspas on Instagram for a while now wanting to try it out. The only downfall was not trying it sooner. It was amazing, so relaxing. All of the girls were amazing. I’ll definitely be back

It was my first time in and had a lovely experience! It was such a relaxing massage and I have quite long hair and was a bit nervous it would cause issues but there was an option for 10 minutes extra for long hair which I appreciated!

I am so glad I stumbled on D on Yelp and they made a same-day opening for me :) I drove 40 min to get there and was so worth it!! The experience was incredible. Super friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Relaxing ambiance, and comfortable beds. The treatment itself was divine! My scalp, neck, hair, shoulders… all left feeling like a million bucks. Highly recommend! Amber was so kind and did such an amazing job!

I would highly recommend this massage and head spa. I made appointments for my and my sister in law for both a massage and head spa treatment. It was amazing. I left there feeling extremely relaxed. I had so much tension knots my upper back from stress. Both the massage therapist and head spa specialist did an amazing job. I didnt catch their names but they both communicated what was going to be done, asked what I was comfortable with and what I was not. With the head spa treatment, I felt like more scalp techniques could have been used but overall I loved it. With the massage, I chose a full body massage but to my surprise my feet were not massaged. I do have a suggestion with staff education with the knowledge of possible orthostatic hypotension(blood pressure dropping with getting up from a laying/sitting position too quickly) with clients. I should have known better but I was so relaxed that I wasnt thinking properly. After my massage and then finishing up my head spa treatment I was asked to sit up from laying down position. From there, I was asked to walk to a chair that was set up for my hair to be blow dried. I stood up to quickly and felt very dizzy and fell. This happens when someone is laying down for a long period of time and gets up too quickly causing your blood pressure to drop. The person in the room was quick to assist me and brought me water. Overall, would still recommend 100% and hope to return soon.

Found a head spa video on tik tok and got a same day appointment with Yuan. It was truly spectacular! I will definitely be back. I feel brand new.

It was a good scalp massage with lots of great shampooing only disappointment. She didn’t do any massage of my neck, muscles and shoulder muscle area next to my neck, which is what I was really needing.

Gloriana was a wonderful masseuse. I got the head spa, but I honestly wish the spa had more distinct techniques. I felt like I got ny hair washed like 4 times with a shoulder/arm massage and that’s it. No hate to the place, they were kind and friendly, but I wish the head spa had more varied techniques like longer scalp scratches, scalp brushing, hair mask etc. Still I do recommend for people to try it out.

I made this appt 2 months in advance. Please see attached photo. When I called after the first text, they seemed incredibly shady pushing for the deposit. I told them I am not going to give my card information over the phone. He immediately back pedaled saying no, no, not card. We do venmo or zelle. I told him I wont be doing that as its shady and no other spa Ive ever been to takes a deposit. He was quick to cancel my appt then followed with the second text. I was looking forward to this appt for 2 months and they pulled this 4 days before. To say Im disappointed is an understatement. Nowhere on their website can I find anything about a deposit.

D best place for a head massage! We did a mother daughter date and it was beyond perfect! We can’t wait to come back and do it all over again.

Great location, the nicest staff (staff is why I’m giving it 5 stars). But left super underwhelmed for the amount of money spent. People want their head massaged so you can feel it. Lathering shampoo to its fullest and pushing it into the scalp doesn’t make anyone feel good. Most of the tools they use can’t be felt either due to so much product in the hair and overall softness. I paid $145 (plus left a 20% tip) for an 1.5 apt and my hair was still damp when I left (paid for it to be dried). Like I said left super underwhelmed and it’s something I never have to try again.

The best 90 mins of your life! I have the membership and look forward to my scalp massage every month! Never gets old!

I had one of the best deep tissue massages from Leslie since trading out with my massage therapy colleagues many years ago. The facility is low-key, quiet; and the staff is friendly and down-to-earth. Highly recommend - and its worth the drive if you are on the other side of town. Great experience overall! They answered the phone quickly and gave me the info I needed to set a same-day appointment. They provided short paperwork to fill out in order to do a good job with a massage. The massage was done professionally and was extremely calming and comfortable. I went to D Best to try their Head Spa massage based off of a promotional Tik Tok I came across for their head spa, and I was disappointed to say the very least. It was my first time ever at a head spa (which I told the girl who performed my services), and I honestly couldnt even tell you what I had done other than got my head scratched and hair washed. They promote this as a luxurious service, but it was basically just a glorified shampoo.I got brought into a typical spa like room and was asked to change into the robe and lay on the table which was a cross between a normal massage bed with a shampoo bowl at the end. There was relaxing music playing and she put some sort of bright light facing my stomach, which I have no idea what that was for? And then the next 45-ish minutes were spent simply washing my hair and scratching my scalp. No comments were made to me about the health of my scalp/hair, just nothing at all in regards to my head, only a comment about how tight/stressed I was and needed a massage. At the end she brought me into a normal chair and started ROUGH blow drying my hair, not a single product was used or put on my hair before blow drying, and on top of it I also saw her grab the flat paddle brush she used on me that was filled with other peoples hair (gross). I walked out of there with the oiliest scalp (and not in a good massage way), and the driest ends of my hair Ive ever felt in my life.I would have loved for the girl to explain every step of what she was doing, and why she was doing it/how it benefits me. I didnt get the detailed scalp assessment that they promote, no one recommended any products for me like they promote, and this service just overall was not worth the $100 it cost me. Would I return if they charged $50 for it? Maybe, but I could never recommend this service for $100, it is just outright not worth that money. And then to harden the blow, immediately when youre brought out of your room and to the front desk to pay you are asked to join their membership program lol. Overall this place was extremely gimmick feeling and I felt like they are 100% taking advantage of this Tik Tok trend going around, and overcharging for a service they are underproviding on.

I got the head spa and it was really relaxing! They offered a hair and scalp consultation and I learned a bit more about my hair. My hair and scalp felt really good afterwards, very clean. 🙂

The appointment was for my wife. She loved it. She also treated her very well. Would recommend this place to everyone.

I’ve been looking for a massage place since moving from CA for school. Decided to check D Massage out because it’s right next door to where I live.D was awesome with his skills. I have neck and upper back stiffness and a lot of tension, as a student. I think studying and sitting posture really hurts. But D knows how to relieve the tension very well.He’s very funny and chatty. If you like someone funny and to chat about life, go for him.Otherwise, this place is newer so everything is very neat and clean and relaxing. Love it and will be back as a member!

I had a terrible knot in my back for a few days and could barely move. I went in for a 90 min deep tissue massage with cupping and De was able to work the knot out so well the next day I felt like new. After my massage I decided to pamper myself a bit more and tried the head spa with Amber and loved it. It was so relaxing having my hair and scalp cared for with a variety of techniques and then and hand and arm massage while my hair was being steamed. They were both amazing!

My wife and I had a great experience with D Best Message. We had a scheduled couples massage with another business, which was canceled the day before by them. I called D Best Massage but was informed they did not have any availability. Well, they had a cancellation, called me, and were able to get us in. The business was very nice, our room was clean and peaceful, and our therapists were very good. My wife and I felt very comfortable and came out feeling very relaxed. We will be back, and would highly recommend D Best Massage.

Amazing experience, I got my massage done by Cheri. Having gotten so many massages prior, I could tell she knew what she was doing. Had back pain and shoulder impingement. She pointed out all the reasons and roots of those causes and even gave me stretching recommendations for my lower back and shoulder. After that massage I felt like a totally new person. I would definitely recommend to give this place a try.

I had my first massage from De, the owner of D Best Massage, a few weeks ago. I thought it was the best massage I’d ever had. I’ve continued to see him regularly since then so he could help me with a variety of issues. In just a short time, my hips have stopped aching and waking me up at night. I no longer have cramping calves and foot pain on inclines while hiking. The persistent shoulder and neck pain caused by working full-time on a computer have been greatly improved. And De is currently helping to address my chronic anxiety. I would absolutely recommend D Best Massage for their relaxing and therapeutic massage services, as well as their expertise, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Had an amazing 1.5 hour massage with cupping. It was amazing! He worked out my extremely tight and knotty shoulders. More work is needed, so I decided to sign up for their Gold package for a monthly 1.5 hour massage. I will definitely be back!!!

My experience was not the best unfortunately. My therapist Annie was very good. However, there were people right outside the door where I was having my massage talking and laughing very loudly the entire 90 minutes. It made it very hard to relax which is the main reason I went. I have had many massages in the past and the shop was always very quiet. I wont be returning sadly.

The young man who did my massage was quick and had his air pod in the whole time. Ive had numerous massages over the years and he just seemed to be there for a paycheck, didnt know much about anatomy and muscle striations. The cupping was a 3 minute cupping at the end of the massage (after I had to remind him about it), he didnt find the places I needed, just placed them, walked out and came back then took them off and said were done. I hurt more after I left. Maybe someone else would have been better? Maybe because it was a Groupon? Im not sure, but I wouldnt recommend him.

This place is amazing! De Qin is the gold star of massage therapists. I always leave feeling like I’m floating and relaxed. Not only does he massage incredibly well but he uses acupressure and stretching to attack the problem areas.

I had the best therapeutic massage today with D Best. I had injured my hip and could barely walk when I woke up in the morning. I got in to see D the same day and I could tell right away that he knew what he was doing. He worked on me for an hour and really relieved my pain. I will be back next week to continue the work.
