Had a great time here last night!! The setting was perfect, and the ambiance was chill, not loud nor rowdy. Drinks were good it was a great way to end the work week! If you want to have a drink, kick back and have some good laughs this is your spot! The bartender is awesome too😎🤙.

This bar was awesome! The staff was so friendly and gave us recommendations on how to spend our time in LA.Very much a neighborhood bar with friendly vibes and friendly people.I will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Let me tell you, I was visiting from Maryland and the staff and bartenders were so welcoming! They took shots with us, socialized with us, related with us, and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The energy they bring made me want to stay until the end, which I did! I will definitely come back on my next visit but please stop by this place for a good time and chill vibes!

A group of us randomly found this place. The staff were fun, atmosphere was great! Drinks were strong based on who made them. The music selection was what made us enjoy it the most.

Found this bar on Google based on the good reviews and was very shocked to hear they have craft cocktails and the prices only $8 (bargain). Awesome atmosphere and definitely adding to my list of stops when Im in town again.

This place is a hidden gem, serving some top shelf bourbons, excellent mezcals, and quality tap beers. A very relaxed and comfortable environment, the oasis that is the Gold Rail is a great spot to play some pool, sing karaoke, fire up the jukebox or just sip a classic cocktail at the bar. You just wouldnt expect such a cool little spot on the west side of Glendale. Well-priced and very friendly staff to boot. Might become a regular...

Well, it was a very friendly bar...for about two days (???).Had a good selection of beer, much better than when it was the Brass Rail in the 1980s. I spent years here back then and loved it as a very cool watering hole-dive.Now its run by a trendy, hipster jack*** that likes to act like a stuck-up little priss, and he took a dislike to me on the spot for absolutely no reason, other than spending my money at his business...what the? LOL

Honestly, this is one of the best bars I’ve ever attended. When I first moved into the area, I was looking for a new place to unwind, which in LA with its myriad bars can be hard to find. When I first walked in, I was greeted with the friendliest service and a ‘we don’t know strangers here’ attitude, and the ambience was laid back and chill. Adam, the owner, is one of the best guys I know and also slings some of the best cocktails you can get.Now that ambience has been established, let’s talk about the drinks. Every single bartender here makes a great craft cocktail, and they are constantly innovating and coming up with new drinks. In terms of beer, they stock tons of local beers paired with others that you must try. There aren’t any generic beers here, and they are all hand selected by people who know what they’re tasting for our enjoyment.100/10 recommend Gold Rail for unwinding, having birthdays, or just having a casual game of pool on Pool Mondays where you can play for free.See ya here & cheers 🍻

Great place to relax and enjoy a nicely made drink with friends. Very intimate setting. Not a dive bar, maybe more like an impressionistic modern dive bar- in a good way! Great selection of beers, sours, and fancy drinks. COME ON DOWN!

Think twice b4 going after 11 pm...Our group was +10 and wanted to keep hanging out after we had dinner locally. We showed as the live band had ended. And it got very thin, very fast. It didnt matter, our group had good energy...but then...Strike 1: the 1st drink I requested, the bartender said we dont make that. 2nd drink was vodka cranberry and the bartender said they were out of cranberry. Really? ⁷3rd drink a Long Island ..and the guy needed to consult his phone for the recipe and the other mixed drinks I requested. Needless to say it took a long time to get basic cocktails. Meanwhile some random was practicing basic magic tricks to the person behind me. Ok, i thought to myself, its that kind of party.A few in our group felt the music was too loud to have a conversation... and then someone noticed there was a jukebox. The girls wanted to dance and pulled some $1s. As they were about to go over the options, the smaller obscure bartender asked, what do want to hear and when the group responded he said,no, that will kill the vibe., and remotely disabled the jukebox. R u kidding me? The place had 2 regulars, and a couple guys trying to play pool...none of whome where big advocates for the music.We left immediately and took our business elsewhere. I guess the bartenders preferred having an empty bar than happy customers...

Ive been here twice. First alone, met the owner a very nice guy who should be supported as a small business owner and to keep a classic old style bar in business.The second time I brought friends. The two bartenders were very friendly, entertaining and patient. Had a fun time.

An excellent bar with a neighborhood feel. They always have a great selection of beers on tap, every cocktail Ive gotten there has been made well, and the prices are very reasonable. All that and a pool table, to boot. This is a great place.

Michelle is one of the best bartenders Ive yet to meet. She made me the best old fashioned Ive had (Im a fan of old fashions). Shes also genuinely a nice person. I personally do not like when people force themselves to be nice to me but this was not the case with her. Shes very nice and a great bartender. Thank you for the perfectly made drinks, Michelle!

Great place. The $5 happy hour gave us the motivation to walk into what felt like a locals only hang out..and we weren’t disappointed. Great $5 spicy mango margarita and open welcoming vibe. Walk thru that cave-like door and into a great bar and time!

Very clean. Friendly staff -- Adam served me and he was awesome. They have more craft beers on tap than any other place Ive seen, AND THEY HAVE SPIRITS AS WELL. Adam introduced me to some locally made whisky. Of course they have TVs, a NEW pool table and a TouchTunes jukebox, but they also have one TV linked to a classic, 2 player NINTENDO console for all to enjoy. I will be spending way too much time here.

What a great bar! Cheap drinks but they also have rad craft beer and artisan cocktails if you are into that. Pool table that says free on Mondays and 7 days a week Happy Hour!. Just what the area needed.

Adam and Noel have something great here! Im thankful that they are making an effort to support local, independent beer! They have quite a diverse tap list and they have some nitro taps! I went during their grand opening and it was VERY busy. Im familiar with how hectic bars can get like this (from visiting places and being a beertender myself) but I didnt feel ignored or like I was waiting forever to get a drink. I wish them nothing but success!
