La Perla sports club located in beautiful downtown historic Glendale, Arizona is a wonderful restaurant and club that provides very delicious Mexican food with prompt and professional friendly staff. A variety of sporting events are provided on many of the large screen TVs for your enjoyment. DJ Tony the weekend master of music is an icon as he provides patrons with all types of music and requests for your night of dancing ,fun and enjoyment. The staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable regarding your every need. My name is Wolfgang S. Marconi and a drummer in a band and I have performed there on several occasions . I highly recommend La Perla sports club for any party celebration, an excellent dining experience or an exciting night out. Wolfgang S Marconi
Came here one random Thursday night. This band called The Royal Family was playing r&b. It was a solid vibe that deserved more people. I ordered a butterscotch shot, a blue Hawaiian & a cowboy burger. Everything was solid. The sweet woman in the back offered to make my food even after the kitchen was closed. God bless her. Oh, and there are sports TVs everywhere! This place must be great for sports people.Edit: Review #2Same singer, he seemed more comfortable & well versed. I had chips, 2 AMFs & salsa. Great vibe. There was a couple dancing all night in the front. I need to be them in 2053.Edit: Review #3Come by on Wednesday for a wiiiiild jam night. Check ig for detailsEdit Review # infinity(Ok, this is a reg spot now for many of us)
Costs more than what you see online but not bad. The food is too salty but it’s ok for buffet quality.I don’t know how long this restaurant has existed or how long they have been doing the buffet but they need to really get better at it. I had to wait forever just to get a plate and then even longer for a fork. Everyone was standing around waiting to eat because they had no utensils or plates. Workers are walking around but not doing anything like refill when you see things are empty. Just a very amateur operation.
We went for the Sunday breakfast buffet. Im a foodie and I can tell how things are made for sure. The eggs were powdered eggs, the menudo was Juanitas from the can, the sausage tasted weird not sure why, there are many dishes made with tortillas and canned salsa. Its good for someone whos drank all night and needs a quick meal lol. It gets busy from what we saw, their clientele is mostly whites and Chicanos.
Im torn as I like the vibe and staff but sadly the last two visits have been disappointing and the band leader literally told my father that we shouldnt come when he tried to tell them that the levels are off and its hurting peoples ears as we saw multiple people with ear plugs and covering their ears in pain on Wednesday night after spending $100 for two beers, four drinks, and chips and salsa. Also our previous visit the food was barely edible. Its sad because the band and bar / service staff is doing a good job but they lost a customer being rude to my 75 year old father instead of just telling him they are sorry it was too loud for many of us or trying to adjust the levels.
I recently went in with my bestie for girls day out. We had a few things on their happy hour menu. The nachos, wings, and toquitos were delicious. The server was a doll, and the atmosphere was good. We will be back.
Went for the Sunday brunch buffet. It was good but wasnt what I was expecting. I miss Ponchos! Pretty good little place to eat though.
Went for my friends birthday party! It is tiny place, not much room to dance, but it has friendly staff, fast service, & good specials on the food & beverages! My friends and I all had a great time overall, & she had a great birthday! 👍
Live band is great, apart from that poor service. Ensure you review your receipt, bartender charged us for food we did not order. When asked to rectify she got upset and can only refund cash. Sounds like a scam. Horrid service!
Great service until the internet went down. Couldn’t do anything (If you owed a tab by debit card) but wait until they settled your tab. Walked across the street to pull out cash from a bank that wasn’t mine and walked back to pay the tab. Bank wasn’t my bank so I got charged extra of course. Asked a waitress why they couldn’t take money off my tab for this reason and was told by a rude waitress why am I yelling at her. (Asked calmly btw). Ridiculous. Don’t recommend.
My wife and I went in Saturday 4-13-24. We waited five min. To get seated. We chose our seats. The server bartender came over and took or drink order and returned. Took of food order and returned with that. Never came back! Another couple came in and after five minutes, they walked out. Food was OK at best. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE! There are much better places in Glendale to eat. Dont think well be back.
My boyfriend and I visited this Sports Bar yesterday evening after seeing their Bar Rescue episode on television and I found it to be sexist. Upon our arrival, I was passed through security by simply getting my I.D. checked. However, my boyfriend was frisked while going inside the Sports Bar. When I asked one of the Bouncers, why was my boyfriend frisked and not myself she stated hes a man. The unnecessary comments made toward the interaction could be subjected toward skeptical behavior and an unsafe environment. I do not recommend going to this Sports Bar for an evening on the town. I am disappointed in the customer service provided by the establishment.
What a dump. Broken chairs missing foot rest caused a cut on a friends footNo draft beers. No cold soda.Crappy frozen appetizersLittle to No ACThis was their sunday gig. They desperately need Jon Taffer and bar rescue. And a $10 cover.....for what?Did I mention it is a dump?
We stopped by for the Sunday brunch. The food was awesome! We were a party of a 7, so we tried the entire spread. The menudo, pozole, machaca, enchiladas and even the flan and shrimp cocktail were all cooked perfectly. The rice and beans were also delicious! They served horchata and jamiaca with the buffet and we all had a few cups of each. Truly cant beat the price, the food, and the service. We will definitely be back!
1. Lady got in my face and complained about having drinks on the floor and got her security on us but didnt say anything to anyone else on the dance floor who had drinks. Just singled us out. Than yelled at me that she was the owner and she can do what she wants. Well, the reason we keep our drinks close to us is because last time at this establishment my drink was spiked. So none of us girls set our drinks down anymore.2. Security told 2 girls in our group they can use the guys bathroom and would watch the door due to the womens being packed, well they let some guys in and they were looking over the stalls at the girls using the bathroom when security offered to watch the door.3. Overcharged on my tabbed and bartender was extremely rude with an attitude when I questioned it. So between dealing with the owner and the bartenders bad attitude it was a horrible birthday experience. I loved going to this place and always went for celebrations and spenta pretty penny everytime but this place just sucks now.
We went in evening when they have bands got there around 730 we order some appetizers and drinks later we are told we need to move off tables as they are being reserved unless we want to pay 30 dollars for each table to reserve. Sorry but we shouldnt had to get off tables to reserve at that late of a time.
The bartender, Patty, was the best.. so personal and on top of everything. Tacos were some of the best weve ever had, and their fajitas were delicious! Well be back, for sure. Thank you, La Perla
Very very rude. The two waitress/bartender did not help us at all. One went to sit down the other didnt even look at us. We heard good things about this place, wanted to watch the playoffs. Rude women.
The service is great. Bartender is very attentive and helpful. The food is also great. Burger is juicy, the fries are crispy. You get a good amount of fries too!The beer selection is really solid, and it comes cold. The atmosphere is awesome, decoration really appeal to the area. Ill definitely be a regular in La Perla from now on!
Definitely the place to go! Just say you know Bo or Cheech and the manager will hook you up with free drinks and food. Honestly, when I’m broke I just go here. The place is chill, small but the food is good.
Sunday buffet.... SUCKED... powdered eggs (luke warm, DRY), service sucked.. forks (4) were dirty... will NOT be going back there.. for 2 people $39 was NOT worth it.. take your money and go somewhere else...
La Perla means The Pearl. Its Chef, Jason Haynes, has been creating flavorful dishes for 25yrs.A friend and I went here for Sunday brunch. The ambiance of the place reminds me of a small, Mexican cafe in Puerto Vallarta. The service was prompt, accommodating and friendly. They served many of your expected Mexican fair such as chorizo, Spanish rice, pork carnitas in sauce, and many others. Their was also an omelette bar, pancake bar and fruit bar. All you can eat Buffett for only $18/person.My favorite food was the autumn chili sauce. I served it over the Spanish rice, pork carnitas, chorizo and later just ate it by itself. It probably would be good as a dip with chips. This is a sauce I wish I could purchase and bring home to use on chicken or even a Ribeye steak. It was amazing. My friend requested pancakes. They were the best looking pancakes I’d ever seen. They were creatively combined with bananas and blueberries into the mix. Its taste was mouth-watering and fluffy. Hands done best pancake I’ve ever had!
Patti was so welcoming and attentive to our needs. She is awesome! The Maragritas are freshly made and yummy. The wings, salsa and nachos were outstanding. Looking forward to my next visit to Glendale.
Love music and atmosphere were great but the food and service were okay. Food was bland & service was mehh
Im sorry but this was one if the nasties.. brunch experiences Ive ever had....
Saif Special Local Business Alert! I craved hockey playoffs and I thought to give La Perla a shot. They are new to the neighborhood (3 weeks in) so I gave it the College Try. The staff accommodated my request to change the channel immediately and before I knew it, I was immersed in local beer. They have exclusive Grand Canyon pours called Grand Canyon Gueros IPA and Grand Canyon Hitcher Hiker Wheat. Dont forget to try the Dirty Birdy named after Momma Birdy. This place is a local restaurant and bar helping to make the downtown Glendale free from corporate kitsch. Its a cultural gem and Im looking forward to seeing the artistic imprint from the staff. Definitely go for the art and stay for the drinks, intellectual conversation and Charlies like friendly vibe.
Martha served an amazing bourbon pineapple honey sour. Hanging out for happy hour was awesome. Definitely recommended!
Excellent food ! Sam and Allison gave excellent customer service very intentive. Definitely coming back, Live music was amazing
Everyone in LA PERLA .., is so REAL.TONY THE DJ IS SOOOOO, OLD SCHOOL. Aka Cutie pie for VAL...THE ATMOSPHERE, THE VIBE, THE LOVE 😘😘 IS SOOOOO REAL.
There is no way people gave this place 5 stars. The service was horrible despite it being not busy, took over an hour to get mediocre food.... those of us that actually got what we ordered. Im all for supporting a small business but this isnt it. Save your hard earned money and go somewhere better.
Cool little sports bar, tries to be clubby but doesnt seem to get a lot of people going. Not sure why that is, the music is ok, dance floor is ok, not great but its definitely doable. Might need a different genre of music to be played or something or theme nights. Overall pretty good.
Celebrated an event on a Saturday night. The place is extremely small, all the tables are pretty much sitting on top of one another. Chairs are back-to-back, if you move in your chair, or need to go to the bar, the person sitting behind your chair will need to get up in order for you to move. They actually had a band from Texas play that night; However we could not see the band, due to all the people standing. I believe our waitress was Rache, she was Awesome 👍
It was really chill spot, music was on point, service was great, the place looked very accommodating. Id love to do party events here. Id highly recommend La Perla location.
It says 15 per person, paid 100$ for 5 people. It was really busy, they ran out of plates , bowls, and forks. Like how seems like it was their first day.
Havent been back since the dj plays same music. Live bands havent been there either. Food not that great. Only good thing there is security and staff.
Food took 45 mins with 2 tables in the place. It was not good, canned, bland, soggy wings. One of the items ordered never came to the table but was attempted to be charged. Had to ask for refills various times. Very dirty looking. The worse part is the manager, a portly short woman with glasses just sat there and watched the bartender running around and did absolutely nothing to help, apologize or rectify the very poor experience we had. I get its a dive bar, but service and food should meet at the very least minimum standards. Will not be returning.
Great atmosphere and great service! And no do not ask for Bo and Cheech, you will not get a discount!
Poor service treated poorly by management whom I spoke with but wouldnt listen due to overcapasity and after being charged a fee to enter I witnessed women pulling down their pants and starting fires in the restroom management did nothing to resolve the issues
Some of the BEST appetizers I have had!!
Sam and Allison were AMAZING 🤩 Great service , amazing food and music was off the chain !!
The food is okay although it was a little high priced for what you got. The service was good, There was a lot of energy in the place, And they have a live band which is really nice but it was only spanish speaking. Nobody there spoke english so that was a little disappointing since I dont speak spanish, and except for the employees, the people werent very friendly and I had the impression that it was because Im a white girl, so thats not good. Also, my phone was stolen, so I wont be going to LaPerla again
Its a fun place to dance, and feel more accepted than at a college club. Food is always good. Drinks are yummy and cold. :) the staff is attentive. :) 10/10 but you do have to pay a fee to get in like 10$. Sigh... I wish there wasnt a fee but its cool bar all around. Everyone dances with you! So fun !!
Tile fell from ceiling on our table and mess was made. We were nice enough to clean it up. Super hot day, then they turned off misters. They asked up to move which we did. They server was amazing and kind. We were there for car show and band. And just when things were getting nice they asked us to leave supposedly we had to much to drink. 5 buckets of beers 6 large buckets of water. Sorry six ladies over 56, my older brother and young nephew. Only rated a two because the waiter who served up was great.
I wish I was better with names because I would say our waitress was amazing. Last night. It was Thursday we arrived early to eat before the dance lessons. She came to our table multiple times threw out the night to make sure we were good. The person I was with was not happy with the beer he received (it was warm to him) manager came over very quickly. The person I was with just stated the beer was not to his liking we were surprised the manager came over because we didnt make a big deal about it but I wanted to mention they were really good about making something right because there are a lot of not so good reviews.I asked the waitress what she would recommend for food. They had a special ribeye that was large enough to split and she brought us warm tortillas and she checked on us often to make sure we had what we wanted.Granted the chips could have been better and maybe things might not be perfect but I want to say they had a great staff there last night and I have really enjoyed the Salsa classes on Thursday nights. I have noticed several regulars seem to go and it is a fun atmosphere.I think it is a nice little place and it has potential, every place can improve. I just wanted to commend the staff they were great.
Nice little spot, older mature crowd, the Dj was great, sometimes theres a live band. The dance floor does get crowded.. I highly recommend getting there before 10 to get a table..
Came for the winehouse experience yesterday evening. Staff was great, food was good, prices were reasonable, show and music was great, we had a very good night out.
I had just taken a picture with my earrings gold hoop and sure enough I lost one. Management says nothing was turned in. Please turn it in. if you found it? Its important to me not just an earring. The manager just practically hung up on me when I called and asked about it the second time. I will never ever go to the La Pearla again! Not just because the earring but management being rude, Im not low life and neither are your patrons and your acting like your better than us.! God is Wonderful and he prevails! Oh by the way your very expensive now and not worth the trip,
Pockets phones for profit. But at least I got it back after paying 60$. Never again. Owner even walked me to ATM and then proceeded to kick me and my friend out.
I come here for the Wednesday night jam session with Fred Boswell Jr and the house band. So many amazing musicians come out to play and sing together at this open mic. Its very chill and nothing but good vibes.Moving on, I really like John the bartender. Hes always so nice when I come in and gives excellent customer service. This last time I was there I ordered the chicken wings. I got half mango habanero and half bbq. They were very good.
We love going to La Perla weve even celebrated our birthdays there with family and friends. We enjoy the variety of bands they bring weekly. Definitely a great place to get together and enjoy good food, drinks, music and dancing 💃 ❤️ Ive always had great customer service and already have future parties 🥳 booked. ❤️
I came here for a Birthday party. The place was really small. Parking was a nightmare. But the Live Band and super chill laid back vibe made up for it.Will definitely return!
Parking bad food is good, vibe thumbs up. Will be back.
They have buffet on Sundays! So good, my farther and I sat at the bar and the bartender MARTHA was so sweet! Very out going! Definitely will come back. Thank you Martha for the green teas!
First time coming to la Perla it was perfect. Great food, awsome service. I would definitely recommend this place an I will be returning.
Love the atmosphere but drinks and buckets are pricey
Was very disappointed in their very short food & beverage menu. Basically all that was listed was 4 Mexican dishes the rest was burgers, chicken strips etc. I can remember back in the day when delicious Mexican food offered was plentiful & seating included real booths at Glendale La Perla. Their green chili burritos were memorable so were their beef tacos (none of these were available). If I wanted chicken strips and cheese burgers we couldve gone to McDonalds drive thru.
I didn’t see any of the bad reviews until we already ordered our appetizers. I am not sure what y’all ordered but EVERYTHING we got was amazing from the chips and salsa to the fish tacos . Service was great, place a great vibe. Price point was great, if you’re looking to a low key environment and great food I would call this place a hidden gem in the phoenix area.
Recently stopped by for drinks and Martha was our server. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The chips and salsa were yummy. She made us a delicious La Perla margarita. We will be back! Fun stop. Easy parking and good customer service.
Our first experience was fantastic! We love going out for taco Tuesday and felt we had found our place! But we went back this week and it was an awful experience. We waited for our drinks, ordered two but only got one and we waited a long time before just canceling. Very slow service.. Bill was wrong too.. The beer tasted weird like there was lotion or perfume in it. Ordered bean & chorizo dip that was just beans with cheese. Like I said though very impressed our first time. Will go back again. Perhaps just an off day. The staff this past Tuesday should be trained on better customer service and the kitchen staff needs to be taught the recipes and not try to pass things off.
The bartenders were good but the food was horrible. We ordered just loaded potato skins. After almost 40 minutes they arrived. Burnt, and horrible tasting. We didn’t send back because it would probably be another 40 minutes. It wasn’t worth $10.Plus I think the fire code was broken. There was absolutely no room to move. Band was fabulous as always but we will never go back.
This was a cool place. Saw some beautiful bikes while there.
We went to la Perla on Saturday July 9 for my wifes birthday we reserve a spot by the dance floor our waiter Laura welcomed us and as our guess were arriving she took care of them with a happy attitude we enjoy ourselves all night dancing drinking and the food was great. our server Laura definitely made it even better. Thank you. she was fast and always on top of thinks great. Music by the Dj will definitely go back again
Went in a sat afternoon. We ordered chips, salsa, gauc and bean dip a Corona and Blue Moon. The waitress brought out the chips and salsa and Corona forgot the rest. She told me they were out of Blue Moon then took our menus before ordering food. She kept forgetting to bring me my new beer order and then never came back to take our food order after we told her we wanted to order food. She told us she would be back because “she had a problem.” Don’t come here hungry or thirsty.
I think its trashy to serve drinks in plastic disposable cups at a restaurant. Service was not good, My plastic cup was empty for 15 minutes before the waitress acknowledged that I wanted another drink. The waitresses spend a lot of time standing around talking to each other at the bar. My burrito tasted good but it was just very dry, I needed to pour the whole bowl of salsa on it. And at 5:45 they turned on this really loud music, we had to yell to hear each other. If they would have advertised that it was a nightclub then I would have avoided the whole situation.
Go there every weekend with my disabled client to enjoy the company and music. They are always so welcoming and the more I go, the more I feel like getting on the dance floor and showing off my moves 🙂👍 fun place
Worst experience ever.. Went to celebrate a birthday party for party of 8 arrived at 5pm. Waitress sat us at a table in the back said it was big enough for our party let her know wed be there all night and we were celebrating a birthday. Another waitress came and took our order who was extremely rude. Then at 7pm we were told table was reserved and wed have to leave after we finished eating asked if they had another table she said no 😡😡😡 we left.
Mediocre service, bad food, a long wait despite few customers, and a drab atmosphere. Why even go here? Ive never had a burger bun that required so much chewing or such a bland burger. I couldnt bring myself to finish. Burrito was equally unappealing. Server was pleasant, but got both my order and my bill wrong and never asked how the food was.
I loved the service. Even though it was a Sunday buffet our server was very attentive and checked on us regularly. The food was delicious. I didnt catch the gentlemans name at the omelette/pancake station, but he was very happy to answer any questions you had about the food. Great experience.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!The service is awful!!!!! The waitress had an attitude like she hated her job from the moment that we walked in. She was soaking gum while taking our order. We ordered quest to go with our chips, but that didn’t arrive until after the food did, and it was literally just shredded cheese melted into a skillet. I ordered pork sliders, but they brought just one big hamburger bun with the pork. I told the wait that I did not order that, that I ordered the sliders, she rolled her eyes and walked away without saying a word. She came back with the same plate and stated they didn’t have any slider buns. But instead of coming to tell me before they made it, I guess the kitchen staff just decided what I was going to eat. She then stated that they could “just make something else but it will be a long time”. I told her never mind that I would just not eat and not to bother with the quest because we ordered that as the appetizer with the chips. She said ”okay then” and walked off. After all of this happened, she still brought out the so called queso. I told her again that I didn’t want it and she just put it on the table and walked off. My husband took a few bites of his food and said he couldn’t eat it because the beans and rice tasted old and the tacos had very little meat in them, which also tasted old. The entire time we were there, all three waitresses were just standing or sitting at the bar on their cell phones. Other customers were also complaining and leaving with out paying. We payed our bill, but I can promise you that we will NEVER RETURN!!!!!
Only 3 stars because I have to split the review. Food was good, served hot and we didnt have to wait long. The salsa is a bit beyond my level of hot but it was tasty so I toughed it out. Biggest problem I we had was every time the waiter came to our table he pulled down his mask to talk to us. That sort of defeats the purpose of wearing one in the first place and for that I have to take away stars. It will not be on my list for a return visit for quite a while because of it.
We were served by Martha. She was amazing! Her customer service was on point. My kids and I enjoyed our food but the French fries were not very good. However, we will be back for more.
Last night my friend and I ventured into La Perla Sports Cantina. As we entered all the customers and staff looked at us like we were from Mars. Suddenly, evidently a worker approached us and rudely told us they were CLOSED... It was around 8:30 and there were many people still in the establishment. I understand when a business is closed, lock the doors. Dont treat customers like they are POS that are just trying to grab a beverage. If I could give this place 0 stars I would gladly! We wont be returning... Courtesy goes a long way when serving the public. Obviously this place falls far short of something in short supply today, Customer Service.
Went yesterday for Sunday all you can eat buffet for $12. Strange variety of dried out cold food. We got one serving then went back & everything was being put away at 1:15. No waffles or omelets available as cook was drinking at the bar. We sat back down with some food, another group left and the waitstaff proceeded to noisily put every chair on the tables 20 minutes before they close to chase us out.Wont be back, just glad I didnt get food poisoning
We went in there last night. We sat at the bar The bartender was friendly and did a great job. My wife asked for a recommendation on a drink and the bartender made her a green tea drink that was delicious. Food was good and we will be back. I believe our server name was Lexi
Bartender did not know how to make a simple shot, then tried to short us on the drink, and then improperly charged us for an extremely poorly made drink that wasn’t built right at all. This place is a joke
Great place, I almost go constantly for a few drinks and to eat. The bartender (her name is Lexi) is amazing at her job and always has an upbeat attitude. The atmosphere is nice and they play good music.
We tried the breakfast buffet. There were lots of options to choose from.
Food was not good. Had Mexican pizza and taco platter. My friend and I were disappointed. Mexican pizza was a large, soft taco shell with approximately two spoonfuls of meat, very little cheese and tomato. Did not look like a Mexican pizza. The taco platter had pieces of fat in the shell, which made my friend nauseated. Thankfully, they did not charge for the taco platter. I will go back to drink but not eat.
They have good chips and salsa and thats all that have going for them. Me and 4 of my co-workers went here at noon on Thursday. Heres the jist... Service sucked! Jasmine was our server and you can tell she hates her job. Take some advice Jasmine and find something that makes you happy. Food was horrible!!! The chicken in the chicken chimi was canned chicken with added salt no other flavor. The rice was dry af and the beans tasted like canned beans with a funky sweet taste to them, it was confusing. One of my co-workers never received their food after being there for 40mins. Save your money and go anywhere but here!!!
Had the mango habanero wings today and they were awesome! Huge wings, lots of crispy-fresh carrot and celery sticks, and a lot of extra sauce. The sauce was so good I would have eaten the rest of it with a spoon if Id been at home. Thanks for a great lunch!
Service last time I was in..was awful and the portions were hideous. I had the menudo which has been good both times, but the garnishing were not enough. My friends had got a spoon full of rice. I believe they were understaffed and may have been missing the actual cook. I will go back, an if its like the last time I will not return nor recommend it! Price point is great!
Extra slow service. Food takes forever. Salsa sucks. Food was ok. Not good but better then Taco Bell.Decide to give this place a second chance. Food took so long to come out so we left. All these good reviews must come from friends. Salsa was still gross. For sure the only thing they have is the name. It is not the old La Perla that everyone loved. Shame on you people.
Went there with my family for lunch on Sunday. They had a buffet style brunch and the chef was making omelettes and pancakes to order. All the food was delicious - the Menudo, Pancakes and Dulce de Leche syrup were ON ANOTHER LEVEL! Chef was super friendly and made the experience fun. Our server was slow getting drinks, she seemed distracted but everything else was great.
Bartender with long black hair ignore me to get my drink I didn’t tip her.
First and last time going. Got a groundbeef taco and even though they say it was groundbeef that was not groundbeef. I got the tamale plate asked for salt which I never add salt to my food. The lady I think was a manager that helped us said oh does the tamale need salt we dont make them here I told her no the beans do and she just walked away. The Carne Asada taco were good the potato skins the bacon had a weird color to it. The bartender was very nice had great attitude and the atmosphere was nice. Then we are leaving and notice that the dishes that they serve your food on are sitting outside. Then we get the bill and they charged us different prices for the food and drinks from what they told us or what was on the menu. Worst experience ever.
Great bar and restaurant with very friendly staff and good food. The beers were cold, the tacos were good and the salsa was spicy. Not much more you can ask for from this place. I will definitely be back with friends. This is a nice addition to the downtown Glendale area.
This will most definitely be the first and last time coming here. Waiting for the appetizer took at least 30 minutes as our food took longer, it wasnt that busy. The Carne Asada plate was medium rare for it being carne asada it was chucks of meat as if I ordered a steak. Service was horrible never came by to check on us towards the end. Looked at the receipt we were already home the server went ahead and helped himself and added a tip on the bill when cashing out it wasnt worth going back and disputing the tip he added, leaving a bad review was best as we werent even planning on leaving a tip due to poor service, now we know why we saw people walking out....So double check your receipts before walking out the door.
Guess I was just expecting the food to be better made
It was my first visit to try it out with my family ,as we got the food I ordered a chimichanga it was delicious at first until I got to the plastic that made me choke. My family was freaked out that what happened . I told one of the server please tell your cook to be careful. I did not get an apology so we left as soon we got the check so I definitely not going back
The service was really slow. A couple sitting next to us left, because they never were asked for drinks or given menus. The food was ok. Its a great location and cool setup. Ill probably go again to see if it was a one time issue with the service and food.
Wait for food was too long, only thing that tasted good was the chips n salsa and my Mexican candy drink with tequila. Food was bland and dry, I dont recommend this place at all. Friendly staff but waste of money.
It was raining and we felt like coffee first. That didnt work out so good. When it finally came someone added Cinnamon. After ordering each item not with lunch was $1.25 extra. Hot Sauce $1.25 extra chips $1.25 And on and on. Waitress was very happy and Friendly.
This place is Amazing! Friendly staff, reasonable prices on both food and drinks and best of all the food is legitimately authentic. This is exactly what Downtown Glendale needed. Its clean, has the best patio on the strip as well as the best decorative scenery Ive seen down here. The family that created this place payed attention to detail. On a personal note I appreciate the REAL NM green chili touch. Well be back and Im gonna bring everyone with me.
This place is great! They have a live DJ tonight that is playing an awesome mix of old school and new music, really chill environment. I got the fish and chips and my 5yo son (who’s picky!) devoured his food! We’re absolutely coming back!!
I love La Perla. Great atmosphere. Variety of music. Log in for upcoming entertainment and music. Great food. Breakfast and dinner. Great bar service and drinks.
Super fun when Mega is there. The chips and salsa were yummy. However we had the fish and chips and were given hardly any fish with a huge plate of fries. The fish was good so thats why we wished there was an even portion. Everybody was dancing and having a great time!
The good, Great location great atmosphere..........the bad indoor metal seats are really hard no cushions hard on the back. the asada burrito was not that good, the wait time was 25 minutes for food and we didnt get silverware, the waiters looked clueless and where very slow to attend. Place needs some good management. It was the grand opening so Ill let it slide a bit. I will be back in a couple of months and hope to see improvement and will give a better review.
I had a fabulous time...the food was exceptional... the music was great..and Jenny, my server, went beyond my expectations when it came to me having a good time! I recommend La Perla to anyone who wants a great night out!I had such a great time Saturday that I went back with friends for breakfast and I was not disappointed with the food or service...Thanks Dominic for being on point with the food and the information I asked about...apologies if I spelled your name wrong...see you all soon!
The server didnt know what a mojito was, then the first one she made (after we explained what it was) had no alcohol in it. The chips were stale, I must say the server (Jenna) was extremely nice and helpful, she didnt even hesitate to fix the drink. She made the place not so bad. Another thing the fish tacos tasted absolutely amazing!!!
What a great place! It was welcoming and upbeat! Our waitress, hanna, was awesome and most workers were doing their best! The bar Mgr didnt look very happy though. Its brand new and Im sure they will work out some kinks-- suggestions: another POS system so the waitresses arent waiting in line on the dance floor to cash out tickets, napkin holders on the tables with the bar logo on it, waitresses carry straws... a beer tub ready on Friday/Saturday nights for quicker service and to keep beer cold. Overall it was a great night and will be back for sure!!!
First time here on a Thursday (Latin night with salsa lessons) did not take the lesson but the class was a good size. Our server was very attentive and nice. Quesadilla tasted like it was made with canned chicken. The fried ice cream was not good.Fun group of people there that were dancing. We came here to dance but some friendly advice....PLEASE PLEASE find SLOWER tempo salsa music to learn and dance to. Althought it was fantastic for cuban dancers and more experience dancers the beginners were Running on the floor and rhythms were off.It should be enjoyable for dancers ( new and experienced) to practice and enjoy the dance. EVERY song was fast.Fast is fun...slow is sexy, more enjoyable and allows beginners to feel the tempo.Take note and head to other venues and experience the variety of salsa music and tempos.Ie: con clave / dave n busters / mijanas...etc:
We were in the area attending the Chocolate Experience and decided to stop for s quick bite. First time at La Perla and will not be going back again. Poor service - we were seated and ordered an appetizer and drinks. Two other groups came in about 10 mins later and were served before we were. Tried to get the attention of a tall older gentleman that i believe was an owner or manager. However we were ignored. Service was poor and the food is not good or authentic. Was very disappointed as I had eaten at the original La Perla which had good food. This was a far cry from being tasty authentic Mexican food. Next time well drive a little further to Popos.
I went with my wife & her Sister we had Terrible service the waitress treated us like we didnt exist and were last on her time & had a terribe experience which is sad since our previous last visit prior to the shutdown Service was excellent with a fun experience. Im normally a good tipper well not this time anger took over and she got nothing & We wont be going back.
Run, do not walk to La Perla. Hubby and I split a Caesar salad with chicken and the green chile mac. A-MA-Zing! The mac was sizzling in an iron skillet so the bottom was crispy brown. Romaine leaves were open faced with a terrific dressing and seasoned grilled chicken. And dont get me started on the fresh salsa. Had to buy some to take home. Top notch food!
The old la Perla would have got 100 stars. The new one I dont even Wana give 1 star we went in on a Thursday afternoon about 2pm. Literally only 1 person sitting at the bar and our server left us n didnt come back we had to move to the bar to order food n be acknowledged. We ordered the chimichanga n it was horrible was not even rolled like a burrito all the way. I will never go back here again. Bring back the old LA Perla standards!!!
My experience was very limited here, but its not one Ill repeat. My husband had the house margarita. It was more sour mix than anything else.We ordered the mini chimi appetizer. If you want a lot of puff pasty, filled with flavorless, greasy meat, than these are for you. We literally only each at one. There was a deafeningly loud DJ for about 8 total patrons. Am I the only one who hates that? Yelling just to have a conversation? They have really good chips though. Very salty, quite thick. Mediocre salsa to go with.If you dying of starvation, go here. If not, go elsewhere.
We had a great time but not much of a selection on the menu. Our waiter Anthony was very attentive and courteous.. they also had a DJ playing great music we got to dance there so we had lots of fun great grand opening.
Everything from the service to the food was terrible. The waitresses look Miserable. Food took 45 min and there were only 3 tables including ours. Food was the worst I’ve tasted. Very salty and dry. Please don’t waist your money here. Trust me. You’ll thank me later.
This is from April 15th visit in 2019 and I originally felt bad posting this because all my other visits here were great and I told my friends to check this place out. My other visits great wings, good service even the bartender was awesome and I didnt order anything from the bar they were friendly to my pet cockatoo and I was given a 10% VIP discount card that to my misunderstanding I could use for all of my future visits I raved to all my friends in the OT Glendale area how great they were. However last Wednesday around 2PM I go there I was overcharged for my half order of wing and when I told my server she told me it was the dinner menu she charged me from offered a weak apology furthermore not returning my 10% VIP card or a refund for the price difference and rushing me out the door. I tried to deal with my grievance directly via and I got the same weak apology asking to Please come in and try us again sorry if being refunded because of something that is very clearly your mistake(you charge menu items dinner prices at 2PM?!?!) is like pulling baby teeth you wont earn my trust or money. It sucks because based on all my other visits I would have been a loyal customer now I wont ever recommend you anyone just know I gave you a opportunity to resolve this like a professional business/restaurant but instead I saw you removed my review I have NEVER been disrespect by a staff this much.
So the food was pretty good, I got the carne asada street tacos. The meat was a bit chewy but well seasoned. The rice and beans portions were small for the price but the street tacos do come 6 to an order. However the amount of time waiting for the food was excessive. We called our order in 30 minutes before pickup and when we got there had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. The salsa containers didnt have their lids on well and spilled all over the bag and there wasnt any utensils included. Though they did give us our weight in napkins.Theyve only been open a few weeks as of 3/27/19. Give them a few more week or a month or two and see if they have it figured out.
La Perla can be hit-or-miss. I have been there a few times and sometimes the food has been very good with some awesome salsa. theyre also have been times when I have been there and the service was a little shaky and overwhelmed and the salsa kind of tasted like it came out of a jar little flavor or spice. I would recommend trying it out.
The food is good and they have good specials on taco Tuesday. The staff is usually on top of things, too. Only gave 4 stars cuz trying to find a close parking spot can sometimes be near impossible and the chairs are uncomfortable if u spend more than an hour sitting
Great service. The food was good we went on a Sunday when they had the all you can eat breakfast buffet.
My family and I had such a great time! We are excited that there’s finally a place in Downtown Glendale that has good food and great night life! The atmosphere, staff and music, it was all great. Downtown Glendale needed this! Excited to see that La Pearls is back!
New business,Old name.( I really miss La Perla )The NEW is a hip spot that had good grub.I tried their street tacos (4) with rice and beans, drink included for $ 7.99.. lunch special. Great flavor, great value. The chips and salsa were fresh.I could drink the salsa, so good.I will definitely be returning.
Bad bad bad bad all just plain bad, Sign on door says they open at 9:30 well that was a lie stood outside till 10:35 and they finally opened and they still werent ready. The buffet was terrible, sausage was cold, enchilada casserole had bad flavor, they had Zero salsa or chips...said it be a hour before they made some. I grew up eating La Perla in Glendale, this is no LA Perla just a Restaurant/bar riding the back of a established name. I would recommend everyone I meet to stay away from this place. R.I.P TO THE REAL LA PERLA
First time at the new La Perla, to start the menu was hard to read as it seemed as though they were black and white copies. After ordering we waited a long time for our food, long enough to eat three baskets of chips and salsa... Salsa had no flavor! The food was not appealing, tacos dorados were a fried taco shell with shredded beef, not fried together, one bite and it fell apart. The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed trying to wait on 6 tables herself. The $1 Mimosas was the highlight of my visit, probably wont be going back. No photos to share!
Came here for the first time because of an ad for their dollar mimosa deal. And it did not disappoint. Mimosas were fantastic. Breakfast was a nice big plate and it was sooo delicious and beyond filling. I am so happy i came here. Will 11/10 come again 🙌🏻🥂❤
Staff was very Pleasant and the food was amazing. we did not have to wait very long at all. We were there on a Saturday Night with the Car Show and was very busy and we still got good service
Went for lunch tacos were great so was the server but it looked like she was under alot of stress. She had no help and customers were getting upset with her. If it were me I would of sent everything to hell! But she kept her composure and tried to get to everyone.
Got here at 11, still here at 12:33 only half of our party has been served, this is the worst service in my life. We got crumbs for chips, asked for a drink never got it. 8 people from our party still havent got there food. Asked to speak to the manager and the so called manager hasnt got a clue. Dont waste your time or money. Staff is so rude and clueless
EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Would rate ZERO if allowed! I worked here for one day in 2019 and I know it hasnt changed. The kitchen manager, Eulojio Sandoval, stored RAW CHICKEN on the top shelf and let the chicken slime drip down into EVERYTHING below it. Ingredients were rotting or spoiled, but clean ones were picked out of the same containers to put into salsa, guac, sauces, etc. without being washed first. Hot foods were NOT kept hot and cold foods were NOT kept cold. They did not have sanitizer for their dishes; they did not sanitize their work surfaces. There was cross-contamination EVERYWHERE. When I tried to fix this, I was fired. Ive reported them to BBB and to the Maricopa Health Department, since management was completely rude and would NOT listen.
Great Mexican food and friendly atmosphere! Cool spot to go and have some good food and be with family or friends! I liked the drinks a lot too. I would definitely recommend!
Slow services...microwaved food...got the queso and it looked and tasted like paste. Tacos are okay but it shouldnt take an hour for 4 tacos! I am always late back to work. There is no smell when you walk in...no cooking sounds...its weird...that is why I know most of it is microwave. Well I can tell by how it looks too. Got sick for 3 days after going...so not heading back.
Happy hour was fun. Alex Santamaria was the DJ. Our server was very attentive and tried his best to get us what we needed. They were out of Modelo for micheladas, and made us some hot salsa by adding some Tabasco to it. Sad to say I was disappointed in the food. The chips and salsa were not very tasty. The street taco meat was very dry. The rice was dry and the beans had a funny taste to them. Would go back to hear some good jams, but not to eat
Amazing food! Amazing Staff! The name La Perla is a Glendale icon. Great to have the La Perla name back with an outstanding new atmosphere! Way to kick off the grand opening with DJ Alex Santa Maria! Our new favorite spot in Downtown Glendale!! Them Mango habanero wings are amazing!!
Great atmosphere and the service was good. The food was no good. The beans and rice were disgusting. My wife had cheese enchiladas well the only cheese was on the top. They hid the rest under the green sauce.
Friendly environment, food was delicious and service was outstanding! 10/10 recommend
What an amazing place!!! Great food, great music and great service!!! I am new to Arizona and this was the best night that I have had since moving here. I could have not asked for a better Friday night. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend it!
Came in last night just for one beer and ended up staying a few hours, walked in and was greated right away by both managers.. The guy bartenders was amazing and having a good time with all customers... nice ice cold beer
1st time there today and would not be back. Terrible parking, salsa/chips and service. I could not believe the bartender did not know how to make a bloody mary, had to send my drink back twice & I could not drink it!!!! Its also overpriced! Funny thing was they played Irish music, which I appreciate but not expecting at a mexican restaurant! 😂
First time there and the waitress did not even tell us about all the food that was available until after we ate. She told us they were in the process of making new menus and about the selection that they would have. If I would have known I would have had better choices to choose from.
3/6/21 1:40 pm. Waited 20 minutes for a waitress of any kind. Ordered food which came 25 minutes later, cold! Then it yook 5 minutes to heat. We ended the experience leaving before food came back warmed up.First time in my 40 years in my adult life leaving a restaurant due to poor service.
If I could give this place a zero star I would. Waiter was very nice, but the food was complete total waste. Rice has no flavor, beans tasted burnt. Taco was very small. The prices are way to high for the wuality of food you are served. Will never go back
They should stick to being a bar instead of a restaurant. Their breakfast was real bad and they couldnt even serve coffee to customers. I strongly do not recommend going to this place to eat. Ordered huevos ranchero and they gave me one tortilla covered in watered down red sauce with a couple of eggs with a table spoon of rice and beans. Does that meal sound like it was worth $9? Hell no!!!
No bueno LA Perla, when your website states you open at 9:30 a.m. and folks have been waiting for an hour! Its 10:10 a.m. and you still have not opened your doors!!!!You cant even send someone out to explain!! SMDH Not good customer service.FINALLY get in about 10:30 a.m. only to walk out after getting our drinks. The tea smelled and tasted old.I get it, short staffed, but there was no empathy or a sense of urgency to those that have been patiently waiting.Honestly, not sure if there will be a return visit. At least NOT anytime soon.If I could it would be no stars.
Food was good, service was not. They have a big sign advertising a beer special, but we were charged $3 more. $6.50 for a pint of Coors light is ridiculous.
A delightful surprise. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming for us firsttimers. Sam, the bartender, was gracious and attentive. Drinks were tasty and affordable, salsa was excellent. Definately on the list for a return visit.
The wait staff was terrible. Took 20 minutes just for an order of onion rings. Where I got my drink the waitress didnt even give me my straw. Then when they finally gave me my check, they took another 10 minutes just to pick it up, and then 15 minutes went by where I didnt see my debit card, and when I finally signed, I decided to not even wait for them to pick it up. The only person to bring me anything was the busser who (who is my boyfriend, but that is besides the point). He told me my onion rings had been sitting on the counter just waiting to be picked up. I even overheard another pair of customers tell management that the busser was a better server than the actual servers, which is very sad. Good food, terrible service. Change your wait staff.
Came in and waited to be seated. There were available tables but still took awhile. Seated and waited almost 30 minutes before I gave up and left. No drink order, no one came by to see if we wanted to order. I know why Adam Sandler didnt want to wait at IHOP 30 minutes for a table. Im over here dying of thirst. Never again. Money shouldnt have to wait
We had really high Hopes for this place. We went in last Thursday and just about everything was wrong. We started with the queso dip as an appetizer, it came out cold and tasted like a jar of queso. We ordered a cheese crisp, but received a quesadilla with the cheese not even melted. My husband thought the carne asada burrito was essentially hamburger meat. The only good things about our time here was the beer was cold (not cheap, but cold) and our waitress was very nice, attentive, and made sure to fix all of our issues. We most likely will not be back.
Service from bartender was decent. Food was below average. Fries were soggy and too salty. Burger was also salty. It was a low quality meal overall!
According to our receipt, our tab started at 7:32 pm. We closed out one hour later, having gotten 3 baskets of chips, 2 cocktails that were made incorrectly, 1 water refill, and a cheese crisp. The choice was made to leave when our order of one enchilada (a la carte), 2 burrito combo, and La Perla Specialty plate were apparently going to take ANOTHER 20 minutes. Needs more POS stations for servers, probably another bartender, and DEFINITELY a whole new BOH staff because they are the reason why tonight was a complete fail. At Management: you need to do your jobs to identify these issues on deck instead of schmoozing and passively watching everything fall apart. Never returning so please dont bother any response.
Went there by recommendation of Mega radio station. Disappointmented, small menu selection. The chicken street tacos and chicken chimi was both dry. No seasoning. Chips & salsa wasnt good. Guacamole and refried beans were awesome. Wouldnt go back.
What a cool place, loved the unique sports bar cantina vibe. My boyfriend and I had great drinks, excellent food, (OMG the salsa! Nice and spicy!) stellar service and conversation with our bartender James. I had the mini chicken chimis with a mojito, he had sliders with a couple IPAs on tap. Everything was delicious! We cant wait to come back.
Excellent food, drinks and music. The staff are very nice too. This is my new favorite place! All the above is still true. I returned here Friday night. The DJ is too loud! Sheesh, its a small establishment not a stadium! LOL!lThe food! The food is outta the park! Excellenté¡
Had Menudo for dinner and it looked like it was made with the worse tripe Ive ever seen and it looked like they just put some canned hominy right before serving it. Waited a while too so I thought it would be fresh 😔 then our appetizer came way after dinner arrived. What happened to the original menu? Not returning.
First time eating here and reviewing the restaurant. I ordered three chicken and three carne tacos to go. When I got home later I discovered they were all carne tacos! Called back the next day and spoke to an owner and manager and she said she was “shocked that it could have happened and had a hard time believing the order could have been wrong.” Either way she stated she’d replace the tacos but who would want with alleged misbelief in a $.89 taco error? Word to wise check your order first!
Slow service, overpriced terrible margaritas, rude manager. I asked if it was the same owners as La Perla that was on Glendale for many years and he said I dont know I just work here rude as heck. The red headed waiter was very professional and polite. I wont be back
Needs some work. I understand this was their soft opening - didnt know that until I sat down however. Took a bit for someone to wait on us, drinks took a while - the house margarita that didnt taste like it had much tequila at all. Menu was just appetizers and lunch items. We decided on a cheese crisp and the mini chimi plate. Asked for our cheese crisp to have green chilis. For the chimis we chose shredded beef (choices were chicken or shredded beef). Menu said that would be topped with salsa, sour cream and guacamole, I asked if those items could be on the side, she said thats how it comes. Our cheese (not-so) crisp came smothered with what seemed to be a freshly opened can of green chilis and green enchilada sauce, not hot at all, and not crisp at all. Chimis came with the same green sauce drizzled over them. No sour cream, no guacamole, no salsa. We had to ask for forks and napkins when our food came. We werent even checked on between ordering and the food being brought to our table. My husband asked for another margarita, but finished our food before it even came. He thought about sending it back but he was thirsty after eating. Oh, and our shredded beef chimis actually had ground hamburger meat in them. And again, we werent asked if we needed anything until we were done eating. Waitresses were having to stand at the bar and wait for drinks, and ours was busy doing I dont know what so the last margarita took quite some time. Then there was the music! Too loud to hold a conversation, but then the band set up. This place is too small for a band, it was too loud in such a small room. We wont be recommending the new la Perla to friends.
What a great place to relax after a long week. Atmosphere, food, drinks, service, and especially the happy hour DJ, Alex Santa Maria, was great and wonderful. Will definitely return and not just for Friday happy hour.
Food is awful. Frozen everything . Cheese crisp is not crispy. House margheritta was watered down and no flavor. Dont bother going here. Good locating and nice inside but dont bother going for food or drink.
This was a fantastic place to visit. Had a chicken chimichanga smothered in green chili enchilada sauce. So good! And the staff was amazing! Also, Happy Birthday Big Mike!!!
First, i want to say...the roasted jalapeno was hotter than any jale, ever! Taco Tuesday.. ? if youre looking for a place to taco Tuesday in dt Glendale AZ, then this is it! lock it in! 99 cents street tacos! very delicious ! The new owner, Mark, is very friendly and upbeat. This is a good place to go for afternoon craving for Mexican food. The natural sunlight is beautiful.
Service was super slow. Had to get someones attention. Not saying they were not nice but at least give me a menu. Ordered a guacamole and they forgot so scared to order something difficult.
Allison the bartender was AMAZING! Greatest customer service! She made us a special drink that was perfect for a happy hour! Thank you. Made our Tuesday the greatest!
We wanted old La Perla food. Went on a Sunday morning. They offer a brunch buffet with a omelet bar. The recipes although fine are definitely not old La Perla. The chef supervising the buffet was a wonderful source of information and makes a wonderful green chile cream gravy. Some suggestions would be to have servers offer beverages, chips and salsa, and tortillas as desired at the tables. This would give more room on the buffet to maneuver. Offer the chorizo and eggs at the omelet bar and not keep it in a chafer it was dried out. Eliminate the frozen pork cutlets and mini chilis either stood up to the chafers either. Offer the pork and some birria for the red and green sauces as well as some fresh homestyle potatoes. Dont offer the pepper cream gravy unless you also offer biscuits. Although not awful just not what we were hoping for.
They make up the hours, everyday it changes.. open until 11, but they closed and wont serve you at 7:30..Tonight went in at 7 knowing they close at 8 now, there are a few people eating and some kid leans back in his bar stool and says were closed and doing maintenance in the kitchen. This place is a joke! Dont waste your time!
Thank you for your excellent bartender service, cleaning up after the Cowboys game to welcome us, setting up & offering delicious food at Johnnys reception. 4ever grateful 🙏
This is not your Average Sports Bar, this place should be Recognized for its Outstanding Customer & Community Service. Everyone & Anyone Gets treated with Respect as Equals! they even welcome the homeless, to water and a set to cool off from the Overbearing Arizona Heat!!!! Look for Liana if you find Yourself at this Sports Cantina for the Best Customer Servi!e, Conversation, Care, and Drinks!!! XOXO -B 💕 ❤️
We had a blast here! The food was great, the music was awesome, the service was great! I am so happy to live in Glendale and have such awesome options to have some fun!
This place is a joke. Clearly poorly managed and I wouldnt be surprised if it closes by year end. Tried to ask for a manager and there wasnt one in the restaurant. Looking around I am pretty sure there was one cook and one server trying to take care of an entire restaurant full of people. They were trying their best but there shouldve been an actual staff on the weekend.
Not impressed with this La Perla, not a lot to select on dinners, they dont even have a Bean and Cheese burrito deep fried. Really,,, also tried to charge us DOUBLE on drinks. Tried to charge $2.00 extra on on the rocks margarita and regular price on frozen... Really... $2.00 for ICE WTF..
Wanted to try something new in Glendale. Nice place, food was good , great customer service (Lexi) made great recommendations and made sure we were taken care of . We will definitely be back.
We ordered street tacos, Not much to choose from on the menu, and we were the only ones in the restaurant, other then the people at the bar. It took over a half hour to get our food, parking was bad will not go again.
Horrible! Walked in, found my own table, waited and was straight ignored by the waitress after making eye contact. I walked out. Ridiculous. Definitely not a good start to a new business and they are not related to the old perla..
Great time at la perla! Ordered mango habanero Wings and the patty melt, came out at once and the wings were very delicious with the patty melt being just a good. Service was quick, Great restaurant definitely going back.
NEVER again! The service was terrible.Didnt even offer a glass of water. Waitress never came to our table but once. Terrible cook. Sloppy sloppy burito kept falling apart. Five strings of lettuce and a quarter size of sour cream.... REALLY!
Food was excellent but I dont feel the bartender gave the best experience...margarita tasted funny and he seem to take very good care of those he knew...but chicken n mole was excellent...ill be back just for that!!
Good food, good music, good people, our waitress Jasmine was on point and was extremely attentive to our party!!!
Great place to hang out and eat some food. Great happy hr specials mon-fri 3p-7p.Came in for the this Saturday only special they had $3mimosas $5 bloody mary and micheladas. It was wild city. Not to mention the 4.99$ plates. I got the juevos rancheros
I loved it, delicious and traditional , it just opened and they are already striving. Very beautiful atmosphere and service, you can tell they worked very hard for the restaurant and i love the decorations , it reminds me of a fancy restaurant in Mexico , definitely recommend!!
Lead female vocalist of Rhythm Edition Band here wanting to say not only do we get the honors to play our music there from time to time but I gotta say the service is out of this world and the servers are amazing. Youll live it there.
The food here was good and the ambiance decor and service were top notch
The restroom is too far away to the ppl that are outside. It just needs to be a little bit more organized. Even when you say excuse me ppl want to kill. ,ignore and look like were in there way. Its just to closed in. Band plays great music old school all....... the way. I miss the old place. Every cantiana needs more then one restroom on either side. Two many ppl to have to wait on a restroom with only 2 stales. Plus pay good money to enjoy themselves. I wouldnt care if it only cost $1.00. Lets get it together. It just needs improvements. La perla has always been the number 1 spot for all of us old timers. Bring it back. Please....... I understand its only been open for 3 months ,but you all should already know societies expectations.
