I really cant review this really well as I wasnt there long, I didnt eat, and there was no entertainment. Kinda cool vibe, almost industrial. My drink seemed a little pricey at 8.00, but maybe thats because it looks more like a club than a neighborhood bar. Theres a lot of space, definitely not crowded when it comes to seating and tables. Nice pool table area, I was there to watch a friend who is in a league. I would go again if they had an event I wanted to attend.
Went to a concert with several bands on Sunday night. Its a great venue because youre not far from the stage. The bands were surprisingly talented. The service was fine but nothing to get excited about. The food was delicious but the portions were too small for my taste. It feels like an up-and-coming venue.
We came here on a Friday night for live music. The acoustics sounded great for the size of the bar. There is different entertainment on stage throughout the calendar year. The servers are friendly and attentive. The menu has decent variety and food is reasonably priced. It was just okay as far as taste. Lots of alcoholic drinks available. The bar seems more spacious compared with other bars.
This bar/restaurant really serves as a venue for the music bands, karaoke and events that are held there, which is really why people go here. But the foods they serve were tasty and waitress very friendly. Rattlesnake suitcase, Luxia and show-and-tell are the most awesome live rock bands.
There was a mess up on my order I called in so I had to wait for them to cook my wings instead of just picking it up like I thought. But for the inconvenience they gave me a free drink while I wait, the lady bar tenders are amazing and definitely had a friendly vibe. Recommend this place. This was my first time definitely coming back!
This bar is very cool. On a Wednesday night they had a table with people playing cards, and I was even told they had wrestling and karaoke on some nights! The wings were great and bartenders were awesome!
Not exactly the worst, I guess, but definitely horrible part of town and zero energy inside the bar. Bunch of zombies tumbling in circles while a single person works the bar. Calls itself karaoke bar, no sign of karaoke.Mediocre at best, Id imagine.
We have been here a few times now just for the food. First time I had the Mac n cheese topped with pulled pork. It had crushed flaming hot Cheetos sprinkled on top of the fresh homemade Mac. Absolutely fantastic. Came back for breakfast. Pictured is the breakfast burrito filled with chorizo, brisket, two eggs, bacon and country fried potatoes usually its smothered with green chili, but I got it smothered with homemade sausage gravy, came with a side of country fried potatoes. Hands down best breakfast burrito I have ever had. My husband had the country fried chicken topped with over easy eggs and chorizo gravy with a side of country fried potatoes and bacon. If you have not tried their food you are missing out!! And the cook comes out and asks how things are and wants to get honest feedback and opinions. Fantastic that he cares - you can tell by the food he makes.
I went for the drag show night hosed by Kristy Kreme ! It was amazing to all the performers. And they do themed nights here like line dancing, and paint and sips. I definitely recommend if ur looking to get into something!!

Very cool bar hidden in the corner . I would not have come to a place like this if not for a event that happened there. The bar was huge and had plenty of room for entertaining. I would go see what events are happening there. Looks like a cool place to just hang and drink too, probably noisey though from the crowds in the venue area.
Came here for free poker on Saturday and it was a blast!! Bartender was very friendly, kitchen was down so we didnt have any food, but we had an amazing time.
Didn’t try any food but bar is the place to be, and people are chill here. They have 4 pool tables ready to be played on. I would recommend this place for anyone trying to have a good time!

Stopped in for lunch after a half day of shopping and had a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Very happy with my meal and Lana the bartender was attentive to make sure we enjoyed our food. On top of that my shopping partner asked Lana to grab some hula hoops and have a go at who can hula the longest. Unexpected element of fun on top of a day of shopping.
Great place was there to her some awesome Local Bands. The stage is one of the better ones in the valley for local music. Word on the street in the local music scene is this going to be the hot spot to see local music in this part of the valley. Was there on the 14 of November to see empire desire and several other local bands. The sound was out of this world. The price for food and rinks was reasonable. I give the:44 🎵🎵🎵🎵 music notes for local music friendliness based on stage sound and price for food and drinks.
First time...came to see Freewill...great band, great venue! The visiting sound engineer did a superb job and the club has an excellent sounding pa system. Light tech did a masterful job as well. The stage lights looked amazing. Will definitely be back...hope they bring that band back soon!!!

I absolutely love the 44!!! From the moment I walked thru the door I was welcomed and treated like family. I was there to see an Elton John cover (which was amazing)but after a few drinks I found myself on the other side of the establishment singing karaoke!!! It was my first time there but definitely wont be my last!!!
From the moment you walk in the door the place smells bad. Like sewer. Horrible. The only reason we stayed was because of a pool tournament. Really the place smells like poo.
Good was just meh and they where remodeling while we where eating soo that was fun. We ordered moist brisket, ribs, pork belly, pulled pork grilled cheese, Mac and cheese, fries, and bbq beans. Ill save everyone the trouble just order the pulled pork grilled cheese with BBQ beans. Everything else was bland or dry.

Updated. The new addition is open and country dancing is back on Wednesdays. Still great bartenders and wait staff and food is always delicious.The food here is so good. The mini chimis with green chili and pulled pork are my favorite. Well drinks on Wednesday are $4.50 and they always have good specials. Last two weeks it was green tea or long islands. Bartenders are always great, very attentive and make good drinks. I come for the dance lessons on Wednesdays from 7-8 and the dance crew is fantastic as well.
Went for a metal concert. Impressed with the friendliness and genuine excitement from the staff! Top notch service and drinks. You guys rock!

Loved it here! The prices are crazy reasonable, the food and drinks are like primo for this type of place and EVERY SINGLE PERSON working there is awesome! I literally cannot even find one thing to say that wasnt great. Even the bathrooms were super clean, which isnt easy to maintain with a crowd of rowdy drunk people, but they do it! A+++

Im only going by the food here. Okay? I didnt go in here to hang out, drink, and play pool or Watch a game. It was dark and kind of dead but the food was delicious. I had a wonderful burger and onion rings to die for and unlimited Dr. Pepper. I wont be back. I dont want to ruin my opinion of the place because I know I got lucky.
I have visited on several occasions and have to say that the Music and Sound system is incredible. The audio engineer does a fantastic job and the food is great. What more can you say, glad to have it in the area!
Mid priced bar and grill with focus on live entertainment. I had the flatbread pizza; a little too much for one, but probably not enough for two; however it was quite tasty. The queen had the sliders and was not impressed. Decent patio, tight for those with disabilities

Stopped in on Memorial day for a beer and wings to go. Quiet and wasnt crowded in bar. Ordered wings crispy. My order came out way too fast. Wings barely cooked. Tasted them before I left. No carrots or celery included on a $15+ charge. Took them home to finish them off in the oven. Will never order wings again. Not the first time I had this issue.
First time line dancing and was pleasantly surprised by cool vibe music...was expecting all country music. Ordered cauliflower mock wings.. wow.. delicious 😋
This place is killer for live music! Joker is easily the best live engineer Ive heard in Phoenix (besides me lmao) and they keep getting better and better acts. Its THE place for killer metal shows. And next door you have darts, karaoke and mayhem! What more could you want? 44 Rocks!
Noticed my last review is not present any more. Went back with a friend. Nothing has changed. They still charge an exorbitant cover. What you get when you get in the door is not worth it. Im sure the owner will post something about going through changes and having other issues. I tried to like this place because they did put money into the sound system. The other factors just outweigh that.

Have been here a few times for concerts and drinks but decided to come early on st Patricks day for corned beef and cabbage before our concert. When it came out it was cold, let the waitress know and she sent it back to the kitchen. Manager then brought out 2 more plates and again cold. This happened 4 times, the last time when it came out the corned beef was warm but everything else on the plate room temperature. The manager did not even apologize once to us and just kept blaming his kitchen staff. It really worries me about the food safety the fact that they must not have a thermometer in their kitchen and the fact that they are serving food not kept to temp. I will continue coming for concerts and bottled beer but not going to eat the food.

The atmosphere is amazing great people,staff and music. The mixed drinks are some of the best in town. We were so excited with how our visit had started out, we couldnt wait for the food to arrive at our table. When we got the food it looked really good, then we bit into our pulled pork sandwich, and brisket sandwich and we were so disappointed. I usually dont complain about food at all, but I couldnt even eat my meal. We actually hit McDonalds on our way home because we were both still hungry. I dont want to detour anyone else from trying this place, just our personal opinion. It really is a great place to meet up for drinks and hang out.
Amazing show tonight! 5 bands?!? great wings and fries, you gotta try the Mac and cheese. I love it with pork belly, it’s sprinkled with hot Cheetos dust and it’s amazing. Bartenders were very quick with service, even with a packed bar. Upgraded dart boards and pool to play between bands. Separate lounge/bar with karaoke if you wanted to get away from the show for a minute. Will be back!!
I play pool so I am here 1 to 2 times a week. I love this place. They have great karaoke and shows that carry great variety. The food is delicious if you are craving bar food. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is amazing.
Went here for date night! Cool atmosphere. On one side you have a stage for live music, comedy shows or dj. They do charge a cover on certain days . The other side the night we went they had Karaoke which was real fun! Everyone was friendly including the bartenders. Would definitely go again!
Measure a bars concern for their customers by the price of their water bottles.By that measure, this was one of the most altruistic watering holes I have been to.Fried pickels were delicious, good service, lots of space.
Ever since the new sound guy came on board the music is so loud you can’t understand the words or have a conversation. Love the line dance lessons but the bands need to be toned down. And they don’t need to tune up when there is music playing for the country swing lesson like the TFB band so rudely did.
I have been attending the 44 sport grill and nightlife for almost a year now, and the environment the staff and the host of small events that are hosted on a weekly bases weather it’s the free poker on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday after noon, and Sunday nights hosted by Nick Pudo, Karaoke Thursday-Sunday hosted by Lisa Jo, or the dart league/tournament, and pool tournaments are just so much fun no matter what you are looking for there’s always something going on at the 44, the live music every week is always amazing no matter music taste, the food is amazing, always get a good drink no matter whose behind the bar, weather that’s Bobby Jo, Drew, Kyle, Mariah, Michael, or Nicole, you’ll always be treated like family and don’t worry about wait times when it comes to drink or food it’s always quick and easy they are all very skilled at what they do, and the owner is the nicest person I have met I absolutely the love the entire 44 staff

Waitress (only one) to serve a medium sized crowd. I took forever to get our drinks. first I tried ordering two at a time but she never came back to us. so I eventually just went up to the bar myself. Same for the burger and fries which were really good.
Went here a few weeks ago with 2 friends to try something new and it had favorable reviews...was it good...no. my friends said the place had a weird smell..I didnt get that but I do have wicked allergies. The food...now it isnt the kind of BBQ I normally like..i like a lot of sauce...but that wasnt the problem. Our meals were cold...not just a little cold like you just defrosted it badly cold. Returned the food to have it heated. Food came back and it was no longer icy but I wouldnt say it was hot...well..the middle the pile of meat was hot...not the outside (microwaved???) The chef did come out to apologize and when we told him the food was barely warm he did he did it himself and the temp read....whatever it read...but I think he shouldnt put the probe in the middle of the.pile of meat and test everywhere.Honestly it felt like an under heated frozen meal. It might have tasted better..but I wont know. Dont plan on going there again
Smallish but expanding, looks like a good size patio as well. Was a busy night went to see a local band Miss Conduct, karaoke wasnt bad after the band. Service was a little slow but understandable short staffed and got busy. Didnt really have to wait for anything. Food was good, drinks were good, and service was friendly as she was busy. Going back again to watch a band Liliac. A place well continue to visit.
Deja crew was, awesome! They did the most excellent job on the motley crew dedication. Im looking forward to returning and seeing what else they have in store.

Nice bar with a mixed crowd...has pool tables, darts with live bands. Just stopped by for the wings but stayed longer to enjoy the band play. I must say that the food is really good and the staff is very friendly. It was my first time in and I felt very comfortable to sit at the bar and watch the band as well as local live sports. Come on over and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, its easy have a good time here
The servers knew me by name even though I had only been there a few times. They hold different events throughout the week and their food is incredible. I moved 2100 mi away and I still crave theyre tacos. Five tacos and a beer and a tip wasnt even $20. I loved it there.

Nicely remodeled. We were there for karaoke and the wait staff kept up pretty well for the business they had. Drinks are reasonably priced for a hole in the wall type of bar. All in all a good experience every time I go in here! Food is always top notch!!

Came in here to see a friend and had a couple drinks reasonable prices. Service was good friendly bar service. Looking at the small menu heavy on BBQ, I personally am picky with my BBQ smoke my own and spent time in south. I order pork belly and brisket. Brisket was very good, cooked right. The pork belly was AWESOME, I was a little blown away. My friend really liked the brisket grilled cheese. This is a little hidden gem!!
This place was great at first, then went down hill, then was great, now there just meh and most of the bands that I do follow really do not like playing there anymore. Not really coming back here and do not have any reason. There are more other bars and places I can go to and have alot more fun! The food is the only thing that did not change much, only because they kept the same food from when they partner up with a group at one point.
I heard this place it just remodeled so I thought I’d come and check it out. Wow! It looked great! I received a warm and friendly greeting for the bartender and very prompt service. The food was great too. Will definitely be back again and bring some friends to play some pool.

If you like BBQ I hear the food is really good. I am not really into BBQ or spicy and most of the menu is that. The grilled cheese is pretty good. The service is hit or miss. It seems like when the get a really good bartender they only last a few months. The other night I was in and the guy who hires the bands sits right down next to me and I say someone is sitting there. He then proceeds to tell me that I need to move over then. I refused to move. He goes and get another chair and says to his daughter since she is being so difficult. Sorry I dont have to move because you decide you want to sit where I am sitting. He then talks to my boyfriend the next day saying he apologized to me several times. He never apologized to me ever. The guy is the biggest liar around.
Wasgreat,have been looking for a bar thats not a club or club type atmosphere..I want to hear a live band when Im in a bar setting..I was impressed that they sold pitchers of beer..havent seen that in years. Didnt buy food..sorry..but looked amazing 😍
Im a fan of loud rock and metal music and fun service. MY experience there lived up to those expectations. Everyone was friendly and a good pour on the scotch.

This place flat out sucked. The only good thing they got going is their glossy commercial. The food was hot garbage and their raved over Mac and cheese was a microwave special garnished with 4 chuncks ofb.b.q b.s. I was truly disappointed to take my wife out for a date there. I literally took 2 bites of the Philly and my wifes sliders were ALL raw. I got robbed for $54. Please... Dont go!!!!
UPDATE: Went back recently and the remodel is amazing! Like a whole different place. Stage is amazing ang the band lineups have been great! Go visitA bit of a weird setup guess cause theyre remodeling they had 1 bathroom that men and women share which was shocking to me, thats just looking for trouble. we went to see a band they had that night and we showed up at 10pm and the band had already finished playing.
Live music section might be good but I was on the other side. Bartenders paid more attention to the regulars. They only had plastic cups for beer
Came in to eat and do some day drinking. Nichole was amazing as a bartender with great personality and an amazing smile. The food was good and from what I’m seeing they have an interesting night venue. This place has done alot of renovation and is definitely a cool spot.

Went in there with some friends for some drinks and it was our first time there and we happen to walk in because we heard some Carlos Santana playing out of there and to our surprise it was actually somebody playing live. I think his name was Armando. He was amazing. We went there again to try to see him but he wasn’t there hopefully there will be some kind of post about when he’s going to be there next because we want to go see him perform some awesome Carlos Santana tunes. My girlfriends and I just love it

Cool place with pool tables and dart boards and an awesome kitchen!! Nichole the day time bartender is a hoot, keeps you laughing and smiling as she moving around the bar chatting with everyone and keeping drinks flowing. There is even live music on the weekends and poker a couple nights a week too. Fun for everyone!!
The server was very nice but she was the only server on a Saturday night. We found ourselves waiting every time we wanted something.
Like the karaoke and poker at this venue. Nick does a great job of directing the poker games and Lisa Jo does the same at the karaoke on Sat and Sun nights when I attend.
This place really went downhill. So dead but yet the amps were so loud that my boyfriend and I were there for 10 minutes and had to leave. My drink tasted like the very bottom of a drink after you’ve drank the majority of it I couldn’t even finish it without doing a disgusted little shiver after each sip. We couldn’t get out of there quickly enough.
Bro bros BBQSo I shouldve known it wasnt gonna be good when I didnt smell or see smoke. I didnt even get a piece of bread with my meal. Couldnt have been any melanin back there cooking cuz I barely had BBQ sauce on my ribs. I asked for baked beans and got baked bean juice. Glad I looked at my food before I left. It wasnt good. I shouldve cooked my ox tails. my ribs had more fat than meat. I will never... ever go back.

My experience here was very positive. We visited on karaoke night. The clientele was energetic and overall we had a lot of fun. The only complaint was the volume control during karaoke.

I went there the other night to see some friends bands play and even though it was really busy the bar staff were nice and quick to get drinks out and the drinks werent weak or overpriced either.
All in all other then the big parking lot being almost full up cause of them having a band on one side and karaoke on the other the place is pretty coolId definitely return for a night out
This place is a trip... Theres a lot more than just a bar with a band going on here... Theres different areas...! Yes, there is the new stage with live music.. Which normally would be it right...??? Wrongo... Theres the dart league area (attached) and a completely seperate KARAOKE area... Not to mention the bar... It was fun and the staff were fully accommodating... Id suggest it to anyone
When there because I read a 5 star rating on the BBQ brisket. It was on a Sunday church and not very full. God looked great, but was not hot. Will try again ok n a Fri/Sat evening to see if better when the crowd is bigger and the grill is smoking.

Food was terrible and no service had to chase down a person to order. Then he required me to pay first. Gave him a $20.00 bill and my order was for sliders forc$12.00. Food took over an hour to get had to look for him, he finally brought it and he didnt bring me any change? $7.00 shorted and Had to ho to bartender to pay and order a drink ........toliet bowl.
I went in for an event, which was cancelled very last minute and no one was notified. The place smelled like a port-a-potty, so I will not be going back anytime soon.

When I do come here I go on Saturday nights with karaoke. The bartender and the lady the runs the karaoke or cool as hell

3/4 of bar was partioned off first thing in early afternoon for a party that didnt start until evening, upon our return later, attempted to play darts and got flack, service non existent (had to go to bar and order)
Went for lunch and was expecting same food that we had gotten just a few days prior to going there and was given same slider but not same quality and standard from the first time. We was very disappointed and also learned they dont do bbq anymore so double disappointed.
I miss Marcs and The 44 just doesnt compare. They are doing some remodeling so only one side was open. The staff was cool. Im just a fan of Marcs who cant let go 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣
The 44 is a fun and relaxing place to grab a drink, shoot some pool, listen to good music, and hang with your friends.
We were at an event there yesterday and the place was not prepared for that. Would never go there again.
Mike Miguel and Bobbie Jo are my favorite staff in all Arizona. Everytime we come here the food and drinks are great not to mention the incredible remodel and live events.

Have ordered food and drinks several times during quarantine which had been excellent! Comedy show was off the hook and live music Friday night was awesome!!! Highly recommend

Play dart league here on Thursday nights and amazing and fun tournaments on Saturday days. Amazing people, amazing staff, amazing food. Pool, darts, karaoke, live bands. Place is 💯

The Basic Sandwich with brisket was AMAZING! Fries were cooked perfectly. My friend ordered the Empanadas. And they were great too!
