A little irritating that I buy a bar crawl wristband but then get denied entry due to tattoos that are a panda on my hand and say heartless on my neck yet I get refused entry after already paying. If you have tattoos please dont support this nonsense. Definitely feel discriminated against. Ive never once committed a crime in my life. Id recommend Bears if you want to feel welcome!

If you are a young women do not come here. the bartenders here put their hands on me and according to the cop i talked to “clearly assaulted me” yet the fousey lookin bouncer refused to give me the bartenders name or let me speak to the manager. if you don’t wanna go home w bruises, do not come here (.) not only is their music trash, their drinks are not good. Nobody in there is ever dancing, and it’s clear to see that they have never cleaned the bathrooms. honestly save your money and your time & drive to Fort Collins. You might actually have a good time, and you definitely won’t get assaulted by men who think that steroids are equivalent to the gym.

I felt extremely insulted when I went this past Wednesday. I am under 21 and attended the bear crawl and at first I was having a decent time but when i went to the bar together something to drink (I know that I couldnt get alcohol) and was told that I coul ONLY get water and not even a coke, thats when the night started to go downhill. Their promotional things indicate that its all you can drink on Wednesdays but there is no indication that this only applies to 21+ and I consider this to be false advertising. It all came to a head when I was denied entry into the basement area because I was under 21. It was the only place that was quiet and I wanted to get away from the music for a minute and couldnt. I paid an entry fee just like everyone else and yet I was treated as though I was 14 and not a month away from being 21. I dont care if its policy or not, I dont appreciate being treated like a lesser being purely due to age, especially when I am a paying customer just like everyone else. I was insulted at pretty much every point of the night by staff purely due to age. Its not about the money, its about the principle of the situation.

Best bar in Colorado hands down. They call it the box but I call it my home away from home. I have no bad complaints because I can’t ever remember my night there the next day! Sometimes they have bulls, sometimes they have pools, and sometimes they have whales. No matter what they have going on that night, one things for certain, you can always be entertained by the hottest bar tenders, the regulars who won’t move on from college life 20 years down the line, or the finest tweakers Greeley has to go offer. 10/10 recommend if you and your family plan on taking a family vacation to Greeley!

I was kicked out of the bar because the uneducated bartender didn’t know how to accept Apple Pay. I have screenshots that shows my transactions throughout the night using my Apple Pay. She assumed I was just trying to score free drinks I went out and spent almost 100$ on myself and others. The security was very rude threatening to call the cops on me for trespassing. Stepped away from our table to talk to someone 10 feet away. Bartender came around the bar to take our full beers. My boyfriend went to the bar to ask why they had thrown our drinks out. Bartender told him people get rufied there all the time. Careful.

This bar should be closed the bouncers are worthless. Not safe at all. Then when something does happen, they intimidate you not to call the police.

Good bar and good staff, not my favorite of the 4 bars downtown, but still a good one. drinks are always poured acutely and you are taken care of fast even on busy nights.

I always feel bad leaving less than three stars..... but if I could Id give it a 2.5..... We walked in and the entire place just reaked of vomit 🤢. There was no effort to try to clean it, even during the timess we are in... The vibes there were nice, and the bartenders were chill. I just couldnt with the smell.

Incompetent staff - Here is my experience from tonight1. Staff is supposed to stamp your hand and give you a wrist band when you enter the establishment after paying a 5 dollar cover charge. Tonight, the staff only stamped my wrist. I did not know I was supposed to get a wrist band also, but unknowingly walked in anyway.2. Staff is supposed to make sure you are wearing a wrist band to serve you liquor. I got served despite not having a wrist band.3. Staff will charge you another 5 dollars to re-enter the establishment without a wrist band. When they don’t believe you, they demand another 5 dollars to re-enter the establishment.4. If you pay the 5 dollars again and have an attitude about being angry about having to pay the fee twice due to their incompetence, they will deny you entry5. They will refuse to refund the 5 dollars for an unused wristband.6. Your Friends will be refused entry when they defend your position7. Your fun night will be ruined. But at least you will always remember the 5’ 5” blonde bouncer Surfer Wannabe Neanderthal who felt pretty cool having authority over a dump in the middle of Greeley.Obviously, I am upset however if your organization would listen to your customers instead of immediately passing judgment I would have a different perspective. You staff did nothing to make the situation right and all that resulted was unnecessary frustration for the entire group. I know this is a lot of anger over 5 dollars, however unfortunately due to the actions of your immature staff I will not be supporting your organization in the future. At least as stated before, I’m not missing out because let’s face it, your place is a dump.

PLEAE READ: After reading all the other reviews its so reliving to find my friends and I are not the only ones. Tonight was hands down the worst night out I could have experienced thanks to THE BOX. My first night out in Greeley (looking forward to it) my friends are ready to go out! We show up 30 minutes past 11 and my friends and I werent allowed in cause we were all under 21. Understandable despite us not knowing this rule, until a group of white girls walk past me and have the same story and were let in way after I attempted to get in. Upset of what I had witnessed, I ask the securities why that had just happened and NO answer was given to me. In fact he called me a liar. Spoke to a manger about the situation and he gave me friends COUPONS for next time. As if that would really make up for how awful the staff had made myself and my friends feel.. very memorable night for me, never again. And definitely will not let this story be untold to its truth. Human to human, the staff at the box happily gave me my first discriminatory experience.

Discrimination. They changed a Spanish song when college night was full of Hispanics. Spoke to bouncer to get his explanation and he said they have a “strict” playlist. If the song was not on their playlist why was it play. I felt like I was at a highschool dance the whole 2 hours I was there.

They made my friend visiting from out of town wait while they took her Indiana ID to a police officer because they thought it was fake. After waiting for 20 minutes and having the police officers confirm that her ID is real and that she is who she said she was, the bouncer refused to let her into the bat. The police escorted her up to the door and told the bouncer that she was okay. Dont go here because the bouncer is not professional. As we were leaving, he told us to keep walking.

They will not play Mexican music we went 8/05/20 around 11pm and a bad bunny song came on and the security guard was quick to change it and says” this is not the type of music we play here”

Its New Years Eve, my sister who is 21 and from out of state stood outside for an hour and a half waiting for them to get an officer to come and confirm her ID all while the manager promised her he would treat her to whatever needs she had, after Her ID has been checked. Once they had confirmed (now 30 minutes from midnight) they refused to let her in saying they cant take a chance. However allowing in and serving underage girls that were friends to the man out front. Service is also probably the worst you will receive at a bar in Greeley Co.

It gathers a pretty fun crowd Wednesday through Saturday! The music is usually trendy, but theres the occasional off night. A good time for a group of friends.

One of the most popular bars in Greeley that can be both a good thing, and a bad thing depending on what youre looking for. The popularity makes it hard to get a drink at times. The prices are also a bit high for what you get.

Tried to get in 2 times now but it turns out hand tattoos are deplorable. so I guess if you have ink don’t bother or you’ll be waisting your time

The drinks were very watered down. The service was terrible, I had to ask three times to get a drink for my friends and I. The bouncers were very aggressive.Bad service mean bouncers , go anywhere else please.

The crowd was lit ! Drinks were tasty like always music on point ! Awesome way to end a Friday night!

About once a week people from this organization comes to the university and trash the mens bathrooms with their Bear Crawl Flyers. They just dump them everywhere (in the sinks, walls, urinals, bathroom stalls).

Was my girlfriends bday and we were told we couldny get a drink because we had a jersey on that was not a broncos jersey completely ridiculous!
