I recently visited her on baseline couldn’t be happier with the results. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming. They transformed my hair color, beautifully exceeding my expectations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making the entire experience enjoyable, I look forward to returning and highly recommend her alibi salon for anybody she can top-notch her services.

I travel full time so finding rockstar salons is not always easy. I came in for lashes and left with exactly what I asked for- they look great. I returned again with my daughters for hair appointments. My hair is perfection and some of the best highlights I have ever received. My oldest daughter did a dark color with some copper/red highlights and has not stopped smiling since we left. The reason for only 4 stars is my other daughter. Her hair does not look any different than when she went in. Literally the before and after pics are the same. She definitely left disappointed and sad.

Customer service was amazing, but actual service was ok. Was a little disappointed that during my gel manicure, my cuticles weren’t cut and the gel did not cover all of my nail for at least 4 of my fingers. Same issue with the pedicure, nail polish on some of my toes did not cover the entire nail and there was minimal attempt to “clean” up the nails and trim cuticles etc.For the pricing, I would have expected a bit more.Pro: Everyone is very friendly and the coffee was good.

Her Alibi is fantastic! I got my hair colored,waxing and sometimes pedicures all in one spot. its so convenient and the quality is top notch. Highly recommend.

Her Alibi had always been my go to for quality professional services. I have went to Jade for my haircare needs for a few years and she is amazing, listens, understands what you want and will do an incredible job. I have other services, waxing, eyelashes, and several other and they have all been done so incredibly by the staff. And since adding coffee services it is even more elevated in my eyes.

They are amazing there! I have seen Halle for 4 years now and she is so talented. She always delivers a high quality product. I have personally referred all family there. Jade is so sweet and does amazing job as well. It is clean and a wonderful atmosphere.

My hair stylist, Faith, did an amazing job with my hair. I absolutely love it. I feel amazing. My hair feels awesome. Thank you Faith for this refreshing hair cut.

I have never loved my hair (cut and color) more than I have since I started seeing Beth Gordon 6 months ago! She somehow always knows exactly what look I’m going for. I have curly/wavy hair and have had trouble finding stylists who know what to do with it, but Beth nails it every time. My haircut looks so cute no matter how I style it (hard to do)!!At my first appointment, my previous stylist sent the wrong color formula, and I had Cheeto orange roots for a second. Beth is such a professional, she fixed it immediately and you never would have known how crazy it was at first! I absolutely love her. Would recommend her to anyone🫶

I was lucky to get a same-day appointment since someone had to cancel theirs. So thankful! I needed a haircut so badly and if I lived Helena I would be a regular here. Jade was so wonderful and cut my hair exactly how I asked her to. I came in looking like a mess and came out like a movie star. Plus everyone was so nice and the prices super reasonable. Forgive my grays in the picture! Im just not ready to start coloring 🤣 but the haircut and styling was impeccable.

This is my first time at Her Alibi and I loved it! I was planning to cut my long hair short so was a little nervous about doing that. Jade looked at the pictures I brought in and helped me choose a style that would work with the amount of time I wanted to spend on my hair(which was little to none!). She then cut my hair and did a fabulous job. I love my new cut and would highly recommend Jade for your haircuts!

I like this salon a lot. It’s nice but casual at the same time. I tend to decide I need my hair cut on very short notice, so I’ve seen a few different stylists. They’ve all been great. Today I saw Jade, and she’s so nice. She did a great job.

Im really disappointed at the terrible service I received at her alibi this weekend. I went in for a full leg wax ($70 plus tip) and a pedicure ($65 plus tip). I had requested a deluxe pedicure with gel polish and they gave me what they call a refresh pedicure instead which is basically callous work and polish, nothing else. This lady didnt even file my nails, didnt push back or trim my cuticles or even get all the polish off from my previous color. She burned my foot with the hot towel and laughed it off. It was horrific. I have never seen such sloppy work. The polish didnt even go to the end of my nail on most of them. I think she thought I wouldnt notice that she wasnt even doing the bare minimum, so she didnt care to even try to do a good job.As for the wax, she didnt know what the heck she was doing. She covered my entire leg in wax and then went back and took it off in strips, instead of working in sections. She had wax flying everywhere, sticking all over her gloves and got it on my underwear. She missed a TON of spots on both legs. I dont mean just little spots I mean entire sections not even touched and strips down my entire leg still hairy. No idea if shes blind or if she doesnt care.... when she was done she just said okay see you up front and left the room. Didnt ask me to check and see if there were any spots she needed to go over, didnt offer me a rag to clean off all the wax.... nothing. So I had to look through their products to find the oil and a rag to clean myself up before I could even get dressed. She made me feel so unwelcome and that she wanted me to just pay and leave.I will give credit to the manager for having me back in and fixing my wax and polish herself, I do appreciate that they guarantee their work even though they do not offer refunds, but the whole experience has completely turned me off. Even though they will fix it for you, it shouldnt be that badly screwed up in the first place. I shouldnt have to come back and spend two more hours there to get it right. Dont think Ill be going back.

Nicely renovated space with so many new spa services and a coffee bar! Ive had 3 haircuts for under $30 (dry cut) and a formal updo from here. All my stylists were great and the nail tech was super gentle after I lost a fingernail. Very quick & professional. Fun retail selection too!

I just got my hair cut and styled by Chelsea and I just want to say shes awesome! I was ready to take some length off and try a fresh look. She listened to what I was looking for, talked me through my options and in the end gave me a cut and style that was exactly what I was looking for. I have been to this salon a few times and each time was a pleasant experience. I recommend making an appointment, they are usually pretty busy!

Jade has always done an amazing job doing my acrylics and today she has outdone herself. My nails were absolutely everything I wanted and were gorgeous! She also cut my hair today and it came out exactly like I hoped for. She is an amazing person, so kind and sweet. I will not book with anyone else, an absolute ride or die!

Passing through town so went with Google reviews. Thanks to everyone who posts their experience! Able to schedule with Tara on short notice. I brought several pictures and I think it was too confusing. My hair had grown out and didn’t resemble the cut I like. I know that’s hard to ascertain what a new client wants. Awkward experience as we tried to get it right. Nice cut but not what I asked for. I have thin fine hair and always leave a salon with flat, droopy hair after blow dry and flat iron. Brought my own products and curling iron to do my own finish but was told that was not allowed. No problem but my hair was flat and droopy as expected although I explained all my tricks. I’d love to go again as I think it would only get better. Stylist was distracted with what was going on in shop like another review mentioned. Not so good when working with someone new but no big deal otherwise. Great vibes between super nice staff. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for fun decor, comfortable surroundings and cleanliness. ⭐️ ⭐️ for this particular experience but you know how that can happen so stick with it and this can happily be Your Alibi!

Fabulous place. We had.an appointment and and still got in early. Stylist understood exactly what my daughter wanted and made her feel at very at ease, which was important as she struggles with anxiety. Absolutely excellent experience. This will definitely be our go-to for all her cuts.

I’ve been going here for over 4 years now and every time I’m in their it’s a happy, upbeat, fun and still professional environment! All the employees are happy to answer questions, and each one specializes in some aspect! I’ve never gone in their and been told no we can’t do that. That included designs on my nails, and coloring/cutting my hair! Absolutely love this place, easy parking, and doesn’t break the bank!

Jade did such great job on my haircut! She has great customer service and provides what you ask for. I had a different salon stylist cancel on me same day and was thankful Her Alibi was able to get me in right away. My hair was lookin scraggly. Overall a great atmosphere and definitely will be coming back!

My go to woman here is Tara! She is wonderful to chat with, does a great job on my hair, which I color about 2 to 3 times a year and the cut too. She is also the only person I trust with my 3 year olds hair! Never had a bad experience with her! She also just expanded her resume by getting her barbers license so i will likely start bringing my husband too!The rest of the salon is also great and really does feel like an escape. Highly recommend the paraffin wax treatment be added to your mani or pedi! They also do waxing and massage here both of which Ive used and liked.Easy to find, a great new parking lot and complete remodel that made the space much larger to accommodate a wealth of new clients and stylists.The owner is also very friendly, down to earth, and has done some community work with the elderly that need a little pampering outside the salon.I will never go anywhere else if I want an Alibi.

I relocated in February 2022, I went in last May 2022 to get partial highlights with Halle.I provided feedback from my hairdresser Id had for 25 years. New person did bare minimum for foils, rinsed my hair once and then curled it with a flat iron. Over the next month my hair fell out in CLUMPS. I have waited to write this review because I was so upset but figured it was time so others can be warned.

I love the atmosphere and the staff is so friendly. Plus you can get a cup of coffee! Win, win!

Fantastic experience with a wonderful manicurist Denise! Denise does exacting work on pedicures-I cant stop looking at my beautiful toenails. She found the perfect shade of polish, did great with my problem nails, and waited til they were dry before I left. Perfection overall. I am looking forward to my next appt with Denise-this time I am also having a manicure!

Childrens haircuts is a huge plus!!All the other things this salon offers is great. Happy to come here for all my needs as well as my kids.The only issue I would say, is the echo of everything going on. Its very loud.

Ive been to this salon several times, the last few times got worse and worse. My last time I was there the woman who cut my hair was being trained to cut hair to the point another stylist said you need to tell her to put her head down or also stopping my stylist to give a learning experience. I love a positive learning environment for staff but as a client I wasnt given the heads up I was going to be a guinea pig for a student, otherwise I would not have had her cut off all my hair. I have incredibly thick curly hair she repeatedly would say I just dont know if this is your texture or if its uneven and also tried to use thinning shears on me which tells me they arent qualified to work with my texture. In the end I had a giant red mark on my neck, a mushroom for a hair cut and still paid full price.

Had a weddings coming up they got me in before the wedding so I could get cleaned up thanks. I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Highly recommend.

Jade is an excellent hair stylist who works tirelessly foiling & cutting my thick hair to my latest style just as I request with no hot spots & lots of blonde. I always leave feeling beautiful & fabulous & with a belly of laughs. I have such fun laughing w Jade. Darcy is a talented, knowledgeable nail technician always up for my nail art challenges which Darcy makes happen effortlessly & this gardening, nail biters hands looks pretty & feminine thanks to Darcys expertise. 😊

My daughter had a appointment to get her hair cut at 1:00pm. We got a phone call at 12:55 to reschedule the appointment. I told her it wasnt doable because my daughter had to be at work at 2. She told me, that its just a dry haircut and she would be done. Eff that. We were just pulling into their driveway.

I made an appointment with Darcy to get a nail fill done and she’s absolutely amazing! Very personable and just makes you feel very comfortable. It’s a very inviting place when you walk in as well. Over all an amazing experience. Darcy is officially my new nail person!

This was about a month ago, I still greatly regret getting my hair done here. waste of time, money, and tears. I gave the stylist two preference photos for my hair. I spent over 7 hours there and didn’t get what I wanted. She completely stripped my hair. I cannot believe she let me walk out of the salon looking like that, harsh lines and patchy. I asked for a balayage and got the worst highlights of my life. I cried about it for two days. Then the stylist blamed me for “not knowing what I wanted”.I highly suggest looking somewhere else to get your hair done unless you want to be belittled for not getting what you paid a hefty dime for.

I absolutely love the service I receive! From hair to waxing I have had 100% happiness and great results. I never have wait and sit for eons and making an appointment is hassle free! Did I mention they make you feel like a person instead of a number!? Best place in Helena Montana! Love them so much I have my mom and sister in law hooked!

The lady that cut my hair was awesome she charged me 5 dollars to trim my hair. With a 50 percent tip it cost me 10 dollars. My fiancee got her hair cut their and it looks awesome and she loves it. She gets her nails done their monthly and they are always beautiful. There is such s positive energy in the place Everyone is kind, curtious, and wonderful. Forget great clips. I say its his alibi as well.

Jenna is absolutely amazing!!!! I wanted something really different and my hair turned out better than could have imagined! She took the time to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it and even checked in with me afterwards to make sure I was happy with how it looked! Stopped in for a coffee. It was good decided to get my hair styled. Luckily, they had an opening very pleased with the coffee and my hair.

I got an underarm wax with Shawn. She was lovely, the wax room was clean and private, but my skin was broken out for a full five days after. She used the tea tree soft wax and some product after. Ive never had such a bad reaction to a waxing. The salon itself was very noisy, good if youre into the social experience but not a spa day oasis. I wont be back.

I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is very friendly.

I took my daughter in to have her ends bleached and then colored. We both showed the stylist how long she wanted her ends to be colored (about 5 inches of her ends). She was very nice and answered all of our questions, but when it was all done, she had colored only about 2 inches and the color didnt last even 5 days. Very disappointed, especially when she said the color would stay 2 months.

I went to The alibi with faded copper hair and dark spots all over! I showed chelsea a picture of what I wanted and she went above and beyond! She is very talented and such a great person! She made me feel right at home! I highly recommend going to her!!

I just want to say how unbelievably thankful I am for Jenna! The stylist that I originally made an appointment with was unable to make my appointment for unforseen reasons. Jenna stayed late, past closing, just to get me in since I am heading out of town in the morning.My hair turned out amazing, and I have never been happier walking out of a salon than I was tonight! Needed my hair colored. I love it, I treated myself to a pedicure while I was there nice and cozy on the inside, and a little coffee kiosk the boot.

Got an eyebrow wax with Kelli (I think) she did a great job, asked me how I like my eyebrows to look and was more than willing to make a correction when I wanted one a bit more shaped. The wax wasnt overly hot and they had a soothing lotion for my skin aftert, so there was no redness. I will definitely get a wax from here again.

The service here is always exceptional! I get the mens cut and style, so that they wash my hair before I leave to get out all of the little hair chunks. I have been to other hair places in town and paid about the same as what I pay at Her Alibi, but none of them have come close to the service and the quality haircut that I get here. They are usually very busy, so its best to plan ahead when calling for an appointment. They do not take walk-ins so you may not be able to get something on the same day, but it is totally worth waiting for a haircut from Her Alibi.

I absolutely love this salon! All of the girls there are more than welcoming! Ashely has been doing my hair for 3 years now and I just love her! I have never left that place unhappy! Keep up the good work ladies!!!

Everyone is very nice, and I am particularly fond of Tara. I came to her to redo a cut that hadnt been done very well at another salon (no hard feelings: it was a bit much for a new stylist to attempt). Tara knew just what to do. They will have me as a customer as long as I have hair :)

I went in for a brizilian wax, letting the lady know it was my first time. She was pleasant enough with talking time through the process (before I had gotten undressed and waited) and keeping conversation going but that’s where the good part of the visit ended. I feel like she was very rushed through the process and was very unprofessional with how the wax was carried out. I was told to clean myself with baby wipes when I first walked into the room which was fine. After I was laying on the table, she walked in and went straight to work. She did not use any of the prep cream, no baby powder on my skin or anything to protect my skin really. She did the wax very quickly rushing through the process as the bikini wax took her just 35ish minutes to complete the whole visit. When she was finished she didn’t ask how I felt about the wax or if I thought she missed any places, which she most certainly did. After I left it looked like I still needed to shave! I had hair left ALL OVER that was still longer than a quarter inch! It has been multiple days since my visit and my area is still so red and inflamed as more skin was taken off than hair. I got a facial wax after the Brazilian was done (I wouldn’t have gotten the face wax if I had seen the state of my lady bits!!) and the same body wax was used on my face as she had just used on my Brazilian, with no prepping of my skin there either. Overall not happy with my visit and I wouldn’t recommend this place for a wax at all.

The staff was super nice and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. We were with Jenna, and she was incredibly friendly and personable. She made sure to ask us what we wanted along the way and walked us through the process. We will definitely be back.

I am a senior stylist at the salon, and I love my job here! We do our best to provide quality work and work hard with new staff on training and technique. We have fun at work and the amazing clients, my co- workers and supportive management make it a great place to work.

Jenna worked magic with my cut & color. Color is perfect, cut is professional and fun. She styled it as well. She asked what I wanted and she listened. Love her! She also recommended a massage so I am booked with Stacy for next week.

Kayla is a superb massage therapist. I ended up talking almost the entire session, and she didn’t seem to mind at all. She continually asked if she was applying enough pressure and was conscientious about her technique. Five stars and a huge thank you to Kayla!

Her Alibi salon has everything you need, even for a guy. Very clean and comfortable. Jenna was my stylist and did an amazing job on my haircut and beard trim. Definitely will be returning and will recommend it to anyone in need of good pampering.

Since the day she started I go to her alibi, I have seen Tara Route, she is amazing my hair looks and feels amazing, I wouldnt let any one but Tara do my hair. Her customer service is out standing! Thank you Tara, I always feel amazing when ever I see you!

I just got my nails done there and I love them 😍 Darcy was super friendly and made my experience wonderful, she is now my nail lady. So excited to go back and do something fun on my nails, thank you Darcy.

Tara Route is phenomenal with what she does. She cares about her customers a lot, and she makes sure that they like the final outcome. She is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. At Her Alibi they have a fantastic working team, and I would highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.

Got my eyelashes done and I can tell by how they came out she’s not a real lash tech. They where clumpy with glue SO MUCH GLUE and stacked on top of each other I had to do back in cause right as I left a whole corner of my eyelashes ripped out and the whole night they have just been ripping out. They where only 20$ but I guess that makes sense now. They told me it was gonna burn and that’s normal but it’s because their not using the right glue. I’m so upset I’ve been ripping out my eyelashes trying to brush through the clumps on glue and there bending at the top and looks like their glued on the middle!! This is not okay to be doing to peoples EYES

Best experience in a long time. Have been here many years ago and I was not impressed. This visit I was home in Helena visiting family and Halle got me in within a week of me calling. She did an awesome job by the way. Too bad I live 8 hours away.

My Son wanted to have his girlfriend pampered for the day, so he took his girlfriend to Her Alibi in Helena. She was there from 10 am to closing time. She had her nails, facial, massage and her hair high lighted. After this very long day, they go back home to see her hair was not cut evenly nor her high light were evenly spread out, they were thick and uneven. I called to talk to the Manager and she was kind to schedule my sons girlfriend in for the next day. We went to her appointment and I dropped her off, she text me back and said the same girl was going to work on her and the Manager wasnt very nice to her. Never again will we ever go back to this salon, pretty inside but thats about it.

I have been going to Tara for a few years now for hair cuts and eyebrow waxing. She is always happy, and talkative. She listens to what you want and asks if it is looking how you want as she goes. All the staff at Her Alibi are very friendly.

They cut my hair the way I like it.It was nice inside and a coffee to go was nice a well.

I have tried to come here so many times. Same day availability for simple services is never an option. I always end up getting the services somewhere else but this is very close to home.

I like how I was greeted coming in, but going in for an eyebrow wax was not the best choice. Probably worst eyebrow job Ive had so far. She did not ask what shape I wanted them, did not clean them correctly, pluck them or trim them like they should be. Very nice lady but showed no eyebrow waxing experience.

I went in for a gel manicure the day before I left for vacation. The girl that did my nails was sort of talkative and friendly but the other employees seemed to be where her focus of conversation was. The whole manicure felt rushed and only took 20 minutes. She pushed back my cuticles and filed my nails but there was no trimming of hang nails or any shaping up of my nail area at all. She applied lotion at the end but did not do a hand massage like I always have done at other salons in the past. It was quite dark in the actual salon so when I got in the car I was surprised to see that there were air bubbles in almost all of my nails, parts of my nails with no polish at all, areas where there was no top coat, black gel polish on my cuticles/skin and a very sloppy/uneven manicure all around. One nail peeled off the next day and I had to buy polish to cover it up during my vacation. The rest of the nails lasted 4 days even being extremely careful with them. For spending the most I ever have for a manicure I was not pleased and will choose a different salon in the future.

My wife and I went in for our first pedicures. Shawn and Tara were amazing, fun, made the experience fantastic. We will definitely return.

I emailed a review directly to the salon and received no reply. My hair dresser bleached my entire dark brown hair and the either forgot to place the brown dye I selected or it washed out. I was left with orange hair. The professionalism is lacking and so is the expertise. Beyond disappointed.

Chelsey cut my hair this afternoon and did an AMAZING job. I showed her a picture of what I was wanting, and my hair looks exactly like the picture. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for great service and a GREAT haircut!

Halle is the only stylist Ive ever gone to who has been able to lighten my hair without damaging it. The prices are very reasonable and I always leave with exactly the cut and color I wanted.

Shawn did a amazing job coloring my hair I love it can’t express how happy I am with it.

They got me in a timely fashion happy with my haircut. It was nice to get a drink afterwards at the coffee section.

If your feet need love, you will want to see Denise for an elevated pedicure. She loves to care for feet and it shows. Nice and relaxed after getting my feet worked over.

I had my haircut today. I dont even know who cut it because she did not even introduce herself. She was borderline rude and dismissive. She spent maybe 5 minutes cutting my hair. Tried to blow dry it but half way through said it was getting to frizzy. Left the salon with wet hair and absolutely no style.

After almost a year as a client, I received the worst haircut EVER!. Rushed through the appointment, didnt care, didnt LISTEN. Did exactly what I asked her NOT TO DO.Prices change from appointment to appointment.The salon is like a room in a warehouse. Could have lived with that if the service had delivered.Avoid this place.
