My husband and I have been members here for a few years. They have had a few great massage therapists, but they end up leaving. It seems like every other month I get a call that I have to reschedule my appointment. Im not sure how many times, but weve had same day or day before cancellations and its become so frustrating were going to go to a different location.
I was a member here for years. Most of the time I had a great experience. The massage therapists are very good at what they do and at listening to your needs. I suggest telling the front desk exactly what kind of massage you want to get the right person for you. I have also had a facial here as well. It was mediocre. I went for the 90 minute and they spent the extra time letting me sit with another mask on. No extra head, neck or hand massage.
Went here for my anniversary and it was delightful. Got an hour massage for each of us and it felt great! Massage therapists were very knowledgeable and gave me a very deep massage as requested. Signed up for the monthly plan and so far am very pleased.
Called to make an appointment and was told they have 1 person who does massages on weekdays and 2 people who work weekends. How can they sustain a business (there are at least 5 rooms) when they have only 2 therapists (both male) ? ?The membership is a waste because I cant schedule appointments.
The massage therapist was great, Connie is the only one I would go to as I have fibro and several other pain issues and she was very understanding of that! However when it came time for me to cancel my membership I had 1 remaining massage left. I had several appts made in advance and my last appt I had to reschedule, single mom it happens. Appt got rescheduled however I then get a call a few weeks later saying I would need to be seen at another location, they where short staffed and since I had rescheduled my last appt not the therapist I would have to have the appt by a certain date or forfeit it, sadly I had to forfeit it and as we all know massages are not cheap. Having info upfront instead of an apology saying I didnt know from the receptionist and no other solution since the bad was on them would have been much appreciated and resulted in a 5 star review....thanks to Connie!!!
Do not sign the contract!!! Had a terrible experience with the manager, Samantha. I asked if I could contact her supervisor and she told me they dont handle customer complaints. So if youre the owners of Massage Envy Hillsboro , I would love to talk to you about my experience. My account was closed because they didnt withdrawal my monthly dues and was a month behind and didnt notify me that it was not paid i have been trying to call cooperate office and email and getting no response.

Their Massage-a-Month Program is a Fabulous way to make SURE you pamper yourself each month!The cost is so affordable and, with the number of locations all over the place, you can get your massage even when youre out of town!Best part is, they offer a VARIETY of services AND, you can shop around between the masseuses to find the one that is the right fit for your therapeutic needs.If youve been fearful or bashful about traditional massage, give them a try. They do wonders, with regards to accomodating your comfort level and treat you with dignity and respect.
Im giving it a 4 + primarily for their hiring and hopefully retaining Kat - she gave me left shoulder full range of motion that I had lost for 8 months ...in two sessions where Previous message and p-t exercises did not work. The facial I received by Julie was also very good...and Ive been getting facials elsewhere for over 8 years.Place is clean - Im not crazy about their 10.00 add ons, and the front staff is a little too hyper at times. Id like to see at least sauna , calmer vibe etc for more Dosha-type ambiance.
Went in for a massage and it was honestly the worst massage ever. Spent most time massaging the back of my neck and very little time on my back (the main area I needed focused on) the guy who also gave the massage, when he did focus on my back the little he did he mostly “caressed it” didn’t but any effort into actually massaging it like I hoped for. Won’t go here again!
Im not happy with this place. Ive tryed ending my membership but they wont allow you to do so. I dont ever have time to use it. And the price is not that cheap for the cheap service they give you. Every time i call i always have to leave a msg and wait for a call back. The people that work there dont seem very knowledgeable of how a company works. They get new people all the time. My debit card got ran twice and she told me to go to my bank for them to refund me my money. lol. thats not how it works. It took 4 days to finally get a manager to call me about the matter and refund me the $ back. Ive been to better places for a better deal and i would much rather go to hand and stone then here. They just seem more professional.
It was very difficult to get an appointment at that location. I went twice, the first time wasnt a good massage. They have me a free visit, to make up for the bad experience. It took over almost 2 months to get an appointment. I had 3 appointments that got canceled before I finally got the free massage.
Emily is a fantastic therapist!However, trying to get an appointment is almost impossible. I have found this to be true over all with ME and thats why Im cancelling my membership.
John Price LMT is amazing, make sure to book with him. 90 or 120 min. Massage. Not all therapist like to preform a two hour session, but he enjoys being very detailed. There is also JB. very knowledgeable therapist, and great hands on.
Can be hard to get appointments but I prefer to see the same person and in the evenings only for 90 mins. They seem to have reduced the number of massage therapist that work at this location in the last year.
First time going. 2- 3 weeks out for appt. Wasnt too impressed with massage. I hear they hire straight out of school to get training. Probably give them another shot later.
I called the Hillsboro Massage Envy 4 or 5 times yesterday to schedule a massage and no one answered the phone. I did leave a message with my contact info and no one ever got back me to either yesterday or today. I took my business elsewhere.
Membership has more rules than I need to deal with when trying to have a relaxing experience. Your better off paying a little more somewhere else
Friendly staff. Clean facility. Great therapists.
