Restorative Massage Clinic

It was my first time getting a massage and it was the most wonderful experience with Madeline. She was so thorough and communicative and she has wonderful energy. Highly recommend!

I visited restorative massage clinic in hilo today, I was in a great deal of pain and was grateful for the quick booking of a session, Michelle performed 90 minutes of intuitive, powerful, deep tissue massage on me. She completely alleviated the extreme sciatica that seemingly stretched from my hips to my feet and she relieved about 90 percent of the pulled muscle pain. Her demeanor instilled an instant 100% trust and I just let her fix me. Thank you Michelle...

Yes. Just yes. As a person who tends to be skeptical of reviews, as Ive seen absolute warfare from competing companies done on these platforms. I mean the hell out of this review. I already had years of previous massage care, but Im thrilled with this place. They really seem to care about your care. Im one who needs routine massage care on top of chiropractic care for a nerve based medical condition. I need what I feel like is more specialized massage care, and my therapist here was more than willing to step up to the plate, and listened to me well and incorporated everything I shared with her into the massage. My first massage was an hour and a half, and I I wish it could have been longer. And as broke as I am, I plan to sign up as a member at a set monthly fee. The owner also runs a massage school/program. I will edit this when I find the appt. card so I can include the massage therapists name. My memory is just bad, and I dont want to put the wrong name. Shes very deserving of the credit.

I recommend Michael if you need some serious body work done. This is the first time I have walked away from a massage feeling that all my knots were worked out. I am free of pain. Mahalo Michael.

I’ve had many massages from this clinic. My go to are Rebekah, Dave, and Chris. They are all AMAZING. I don’t usually get massages from males but Dave and Chris are very good at what they do and are very respectful, professional and have great mellow calming energy. They listen carefully to what you want or don’t want done and they have that intuitive sense that guides them to your troubled spots that not all massage therapists have. They’re all young and have very strong abled hands :) You won’t regret it.

I’ve been overdoing it on the backpacking! So I needed this emergency massage. Banko was wonderful! My first hot stone and also hot towel massage. Safe and quiet space. They even gave me a first timer discount. MAHALO.

First off, employees are absolutely professional and kind. Massages are great, when I can get them. Only complaint I have is, I pay for the membership which is around $80/month and on more than one occasion (Today being one of them) I called for a same day Massage and I was told all therapists working today only massages females. Seems a little sexist, but I get it. Its just a little frustrating when you have a membership and in need of a massage but you cant get it that day due to you not being the correct sex/gender. More frustrating due to the fact that I am not a new client. Disappointed, now I need to find another massage therapist today that will take a male.

I go to Kayla for facials and always feel SOOO rejuvenated after! She does a great job making you feel relaxed and comfortable, and always answers any questions I have ! 10/10 recommend

Absolutely amazing! It was my first massage experience EVER and they made me feel comfortable and welcomed! Angela was my masseuse and she was very informative and did a great job! Prices are very reasonable and it was worth every penny! Thank you so much! I will definitely be back!

Adding again because I cant believe how fortunate it was that my grandson suggested Restorative Massage Clinic. Michelle has become my regular massage therapist. I had three and it got confusing with their schedules.Laura and Leeanne are wonderful and all three have different styles and expertise. Pressure range available in every one.I felt bad because I established a bond quickly with each one. They are all so caring. But it just made it easier to make a set appointment time each week with one.Daniel is a therapist that I hear gives deep massages. He and Michelle take turns at the desk. He is a sweetie, too.So far the only turn off is that they are all so thin and beautiful, except Chris and Daniel, theyre handsome. Im old, fat, goofy and no way do I want to show my body now. Yet, I am so relaxed around these kids that I just strip. No problem. Just another plus.The turn off was a joke. No negatives at all.Im adding to my review below. I am so happy to meet another sweet receptionist. Her name is...wait for it...HEAVEN. She or MICHELLE are the first ones you see and you couldnt ask for sweeter greeters. Heaven and I bonded because of life. Laura is helping me with her healing hands. Im so glad my grandson told me about this place.Michelle is the first face I saw when I walked in and she exuded warmth making me feel at ease. Not this was my first massage, but I used to go to private owners only, never to a clinic. She was friendly and considerate. My massage was a very relaxing, healing experience and Laura is the sweetest little gal. The atmosphere there is great, except for the picture staring at you upon walking in. Not my cup of tea.When you come out of the room, they have a goblet of special water ready for you to drink. Thoughtful and considerate. Just one of the many nice touches. Already had several massages and changed my schedule from every two weeks to every week. I may be on a fixed income, but hey! I want to live longer and this will help.

Great place with sweet services. It does get a little chilly so ask for extra warm towels 😏

Words can’t describe how amazing my experience was here. I am a massage connoisseur, have had dozens all over the country and this was THE BEST massage, (and facial!) I have had, hands down! Emily did my facial and Angela did my massage. The quality of the service and the level of relaxation was unmatched. Do yourself a favor and go here, ASAP! I’m still in heaven, hours later. 10000/10 would recommend. :)

Friendly staff, great location with relaxing ambiance, and amazing masseuses. My girlfriend and I both had some of the best massages ever, perfect treat in between hikes on our vacation on the big island. Highly recommended

Mina my therapist was Amazing!! Her flow and technique were on point. She addressed my specific pains and found a few I didnt realize were there. According to the receptionist she is an advanced student for them but if they hadnt told me I would have never guessed otherwise. I left feeling so relaxed and thankful for the treatment me and my friend received we were both speechless and massage drunk 🤤🤤🥴🥴

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience. Our massage therapists, Lena, and Banka, were wonderful. Michael, at the front desk, was warm and welcoming. They were able to accommodate us on a very short notice and we had the best massages.

I came by here the other day my lower back was killing me from basketball. I was fortunate enough to book an appointment with Misty as my therapist. Misty hit all the right spots and when I got up a felt a million times better. I rescheduled for next week. Great atmosphere, easy to talk too, and very welcoming. I had such a wonderful experience at the restorative massage clinic. My deep tissue massage was so amazing, and the ambiance of the clinic was very relaxing. The massage therapist was very attentive and I left feeling so relaxed. Will definitely be back if I visit again.

Heaven at the front was very calm, professional and friendly. The iPad for paperwork was amazing, efficient & eco-friendly.James was my masseuse & he was incredible. I chose deep tissue and had a goal to relax and receive headache tension. He accomplished both of these goals. He gave a great, deep tissue massage with clear communication throughout the entire session. Then he welcomed me with a large glass of water afterwards. He was thorough, calm and had great energy. He spent time on the muscles to ensure they released properly, stretched and massaged where I was tense. Highly recommend.

Saw This clinic while walking down waianuenue. Couldnt believe I found such a gem. I was blessed to get Christine, because her hands have the most healing touch. Her presence made me comfortable and relaxed. Even when you walk in this clinic, the high ceilings and the essential oil smell brings you immediately into massage mode. I came in just to relax and I got spoiled with chocolate and lemon water. They even had fresh apples and bananas for clients. I cant wait to go back.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with the warmest welcome & the space is beautiful with essential oils diffused. My friend & I made an appointment but they also take walk ins. We chose the $40 student massage & they were wonderful! Can not wait to come back🙂

Aloha all kind!! So I had my 50th birthday yesterday and my son surprised me with a fabulous massage for these hands on professionals! I was so relaxed when I left that they could have just turned out the lights and let me sleep!! Im so thankful for the massage!I want to give a 6 🌟shout out to the staff and my therapist!!! This place is amazing! So convenient too, it’s such a huge help that they are open on Sundays. I’ve gone to see Leena a few times now and she always sets me right and leaves me feeling fabulous and restored. I wish I could give it 10 stars...worth every penny!

I was a tourist in Hilo and saw their sign “walk-ins welcome”. After a big hike the day before, I decided to treat myself. The Hawaiian Gods were looking after me, because I was introduced to John, my remedial masseur.After explaining I had an old hamstring injury (completely torn from the pelvis) he began acting like a man on a mission and knew exactly what to do. Qiang Shaw, a Chinese technique, was performed with vigorous technique to break up old scar tissue around the hip and femur.I walked out standing straighter, with more ease than I have felt in years. A small miracle had occurred when I least expected it. Thank you John.

This was the best massage I have had in 3 countries. The staff was very professional and extremely sweet. My girlfriend and I left thoroughly relaxed and satisfied.
