Very mixed feelings. Im going for massage at this place for more than a year. It used to be very good place, but the last three times it was bad. The staff is alway different so theres no consistency. They dont understand what youre asking them to massage, they are touching you private parts without asking or anything, they are talking and laughing while they have clients and its not enjoyable anymore. Its just not good place anymore. This is Hoboken, is not the city to look for sex service.

The place to go! Very professional, they will ask you if want it hard so be careful, you could be sore for the next two days. Find myself going back once a month. Please make sure to tip at the end of the session, they put a lot of effort. Enjoy!

Listen, it’s not pretty, it’s not fancy, but they play some quiet spa music and rub the hell out of you! Been coming here for over 20 years and In all of that time, I’ve had no problems. Sometimes I just walk in (they take walk ins) and sometimes make an appointment if it’s in the evening when I know they’ll be busy. Either way, it’s cheap af and good af. If you’re into pretty decor and a “fancy” environment this is n o t the place for you. Enjoy your rubs

After years of visiting, bringing family and out of town guests, I guess it’s time for a review. The fam loves this local, no frills, affordable massage place. The workers know what they’re doing, and it’s a great spot to work Manhattan stress out of your back. It’s not the Four Seasons spa for sure, but your get high quality for low cost here. Enjoy.

I pay for an hour VIVI only give 40 minutes and then rush me out of the room. VIVI ask me about the special service and let me pay $40 extra for special service, I was denied. She is rude and pushy. Literally push me into the room. The 5 star reviews must be from family members. Stay far away from this place and the rude woman at the desk. I see some positive reviews from this place and Im telling you right now they must be family members worst massage experience ever

This place is a mixed bag. The massage was excellent but I might not visit again. Here is why: People do not speak or understand English which is understandable but problem begins when they decide themselves on what body parts they would work on. I did a 45 mins, and lady on her own decided to do just my back(it was supposed to be a full body). They wont tell you this upfront. They try to push you during the massage to increase the duration. You go there to relax, the last thing you would want is back n forth argument. If you tell her to work on legs, she should do it - simple. They wont listen to anything and you will finally give up and let them do whatever they feel like. I like it when people quietly do the business with some light music, but these folks like to talk and giggle.It doesn’t end there, once done they will fight with you for tips, even when you don’t like the overall experience- so unprofessional. The place is not super clean and overall hygiene is below average. Overall, I did like the quality of massage but given all the drama and unprofessional behavior, I will not recommend this place.

I went to this place one year ago and it was great , didn’t have any complaint that’s why I decided to go back. I just went Yesterday 04/30/22 at 6:30pm to get a full body massage for one hour and the lady who performed my massage was HORRIBLE !! She was like tired or she was lazy didn’t even massage my face/head. I asked her to please put more pressure but she didn’t listen. The problem was that she simple didn’t know what she was doing. I’m really disappointed and I won’t be going back to this place .I understand this is not a 5 start spa but at least they should put people that can pretend to know what they are doing!! It was a joke. During my massage they have another customer (male) next to me and there was only a curtain between both which was super inappropriate and I feel uncomfortable. Then during the massage there was this lady outside coughing and making disgusting sounds. At the end of my massage the lady told me that they take only cash and I have to run to the ATM , I didn’t tip her like I usually tip people because it was the WORST massage ever!!!!!! She is lucky that I gave her some tip. Please don’t come to this place !!!!!

For the price, Washington Body Work is an excellent massage spot. If youre expecting a fancy experience, then go somewhere fancy and be ready to pay fancy prices. But if you want a no-frills, to-the-point, very effective massage, then come to Washington Body Work.The staff are very friendly and listen to feedback - if you dont like something they are doing, just let them know and theyll accommodate you.I see a lot of reviews on here complaining about things that are either exaggerated or happened a long time in the past. As of July 2022 when I visited, I had a great time here and would definitely recommend the place.

Probably a hidden gem in Hoboken. I strongly recommend this place. My go-to masseuse is Lily. Shes really good at point massage and has a great demeanor. I feel like communication is key to getting a great massage. I feel very comfortable letting her know the pressure level, where to focus on, etc.Make sure you also ask for a hot stone treatment at the end! Have the stones on your shoulders while your legs are being worked on is just amazing and very efficient.

Possibly the worst massage Ive ever had, not to mention the basement level, Musty rooms. Pressure in all the wrong places at all the wrong times. There was no symmetry, jumping all over the place, changing technique every couple min. Was annoying enough to change masseuse half way through.The second was worse, doused me with enough oil to start a fire and then ran his scratchy hands repeatedly on my back. That was the end of it. 36 min in out of an hour and I was done!AVOID if you have any massage experience.

I was there on Friday and one of the massage therapist her name is VIVI , she was very good and give me special service! I will be back for her !!!

Massage therapists definitely know what theyre doing! Always get a solid massage for a decent price. Nothing flashy or extra, just in and out getting the job done.

Always get an excellent massage here. Its definitely a no frills place, but its very reasonable price-wise, and the massage is always great

I was a faithful customer of them but they talk too much during the massages and they were laughing and giggling repeatedly during my session and Im never going back, I will find somewhere else to get a massage

I m not sure about this place. It is a no frills place and the massage was painful. My massuse kept picking up calls during the massage. It was super distracting.
