Dance Explosion

Dance Explosion is an amazing dance studio! My daughters are about to complete their first season in ballet. The owner, Katie, is wonderful and highly experienced. You can tell that she puts her heart and soul into the studio. All of the instructors are so sweet and experienced as well. My daughters are in Ms. Gracie’s class and they absolutely love her! :) We are looking forward to returning for the next season. I highly recommend this studio if you’re in the area.

We love Dance Explosion, my daughter has been dancing here for 4 years now on the competition team and absolutely loves it. My littlest one has even started taking classes here. Not only has DE provided an environment where she feels free to do what she loves, she continues to thrive as a dancer and person. Ms. Katie goes above and beyond to make sure her dancers receive the best dance education as well as the best training. We love DE and couldn’t have chosen a better dance family for my girls!

Been at this studio for about 4 years now and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. In love with the community at Dance explosion and the studio traditions (studio sleepover, spirit week, prep rallies)are always looked forward too. Our studio owner Katie Goughan has provided us with so many learning opportunities and has helped us grow and become into the unique dancers we’ve became. I’m so grateful for all the staff who are always pushing you to be the best version of yourself. All in all, dance explosion is the place to go. #DEDC4LIFE🤍💙

Loved this studio for 17 years now. My forever home. Staff is phenomenal and Katie is a miracle worker!!! Kids work so hard and the environment makes it so worth it

We really love Dance Explosion! We r going into our 3rd month there with 3 of my girls in different dance classes. The studio is clean and the classes are super affordable (especially nowadays), the staff is kind and the teachers are amazing (especially with the younger ones). I would and have recommended this dance studio to friends.

All I can say if I could give 10 stars plus I would My granddaughter has come a long way in the few years as she has been with dance explosion I am so proud of her and look forward to many more years of growth thank you Katie and staff for always being there for her we love dance explosion 110%

I can’t say enough good things about Dance Explosion. The owner and staff are creative, contemporary and welcoming to all walks of life. There is something for everyone at this studio - From the competitive dance team that my daughter has been a part of for over 4 years to the recreational program for those interested in less of a commitment. I have known many children who have attended this studio including my daughter. Love that your child can develop from age 3 to 18+! There are a variety of classes to choose from all ages and all styles of dance. Amazing technique, instruction, friendly and versatile teachers with innovative methods of instruction and choreography to capture interest of all ages. We have been fortunate enough to be a part of this amazing studio now for well over 14 years. The care and professionalism that the staff has had for my children over the years has been incredible. Many students have come back to teach, volunteer and to continue to take master classes well into their careers! So blessed to be a part of this dance family!

I attended Dance Explosion from 3 years old to 16 years old and now I am a teacher there. Dance Explosion is more than a physical studio its a family and a community. There are multiple people like me throughout the years who have come back after being a student to teach, volunteer, work front desk, or even just reunion parties. Weve been operating for 30 years now and its truly because of the love and support that exists within our studio. From Ms. Lori, the previous owner, and now to Katie, a previous student of the studio as well, Dance explosion has maintained its legacy of being a fun and welcoming place for students to grow their passion for dance. I have worked at multiple other places that involve working with kids including gymnastics places and after school programs in south Florida and I can honestly say that the culture behind dance explosion is one of genuine care and concern for their students and is always committed to growing and evolving.

I danced at Dance Explosion from 1998-2013. I have continued to stay in communication and volunteer for events to this day. I have had the honor to watch Dance Explosion transition through the years into the incredible studio it is today. The girls have opportunities like no other working with incredible instructors and guest teachers. Dance Explosion is the prime example of where you want your children to dance. The staff is loving, caring and extremely passionate about what they do. This studio emulates what dance should be and the family environment is one not to take for granted. I am a proud alumni and have family who send their children here. I can assure you, if I have children who want to dance they will go to Dance Explosion! Without a doubt!

This is our 2nd year at Dance Explosion, but we are not new to the studio. I danced here when I was a little girl and love being able to send my daughter to a studio I know and trust! She comes home talking about how great her teachers are and how much fun she has! She wakes up on the days of her class excited to go! I definitely recommend Dance Explosion!!!

One of the worst experiences Ive ever had. Not recommended at all!Arrived with my 3 year old for her first dance class and pretty soon realized this was not the place for us. Not even a minute of the session passed and teacher called assistant to let me know I cannot be in the class and I need to see the class through Zoom, even though this was the first time and my daughter was struggling to find a place to sit in the 12 kids - 1 teacher ratio class. Furthermore, dance teacher was completely disconnected from the fact that there was a new kid in the group, no introduction and had a lack of child sensitive approach to the class . My daughter was struggling to find a place in the class (since it was her first time!), came crying to me, and teacher who was in front of her even didnt bother to pay attention to this and in fact told me I needed to leave the room. If you want a decent dance class for your child, this is for sure NOT the place to go.

Dance Explosion is amazing! My two daughters are thriving there! The owner/director and all the staff are supportiveand encouraging of everyone who walks through their door.

I have been dancing here for over 15 years. I am now in college and come back to take class and teach along with many of the alumni. It is an amazing studio that offers so much for your dancer. I am so lucky to be apart of this dance community and I recommend this studio to all ages.

All I can say is that Dance Explosion is AWESOME!!! The Director/Owner and the young and talented teachers are all focused on the kids and make sure that their dancing experience is nothing more than amazing. My daughter has been with them since she was 3 (now she’s 5) and absolutely loves it. Let’s not forget the recitals...they are beautiful and there you can see all the hard work everyone puts in. I would recommend this studio to anyone that wants to have happy feet.

Forever grateful to the Dance Explosion team for continuing to foster our children’s love of dance. Working with the 2-6 age range has always had a special place in my heart. Knowing that I could be a child’s,“First Dance Teacher” is a role I treasure whole heartedly. It is a honor to be apart of shaping the next generation.

The staff is wonderful and dedicated, and the recitals are terrific! I highly recommend bringing your child here. The Ballet Company puts on incredible shows and Miss Mariea is the most talented instructor.

Miss Loris students are the best prepared students I have ever seen at a competition. If you want the best, go to Dance Explosion. Amazing summer program.

It was the best experiences Ive ever seen other than a full blown Broadway Production.I dont know about you guys BUT.IAM a huge fan of the ARTS. I have supported & paid the price of those tickets for over 40yrs. The performance was so heartful that I was smiling from ear to ear with every family menber, laughing at the young kids that were amazing and was so touched by the grace & and beauty of the PROs that R the superstars on broadway.. Thank you again for bringing to Baily Hall in SOFL...KIDS with the same light in there eyes that I had when I was a kid! The quality & respect and most of all THE TRUE LOVE OF THE DANCE! This is a horrible place, here they promote homophobia so your children can be in serious danger and in the hands of bad people.Never leave your children here, it is also an unsafe place for them.

The staff is amazing and the facility is nice and clean. The owner and staff makes everyone feel like family. I highly recommend this dance studio.

Belittling of the kids. 21 year old instructor is a bully. Bullies on social media. You would think a teacher has more class and knew how to act and hold herself to a higher standard. Shows favoritism. Not healthy environment.
