Sanctuary Spa

This is my first time going to Sanctuary Spa and they exceeded my expectations. I got the 45 min back treatment and 45 min extraction facial with Amie. I found them when searching for places that have back treatments and took a chance because I know some places in Montrose are sketchy, but all the staff were extremely nice and the atmosphere was perfect. They offered drinks and snacks while waiting. And before each treatment they would explain everything that they were gonna do. They also use all natural products and were able to give recommendations based on my preferences if I wanted to buy anything. In the end, my total was $210 and I left 20% gratuity bring it to $252. I also got the 2 ounce silk scrub that she used during the treatment and after recommended if I wanted an exfoliant which came out to $19.47. While it’s on the more expensive side, I 100% recommend this place and book with Amie if you can, she was very kind, personable, and made me feel very comfortable. She addressed all of my concerns and explained why it happen and how to prevent it in the future.

I received the Akasuri scrub. And let me tell you! You will question your scrubbing and cleaning techniques! lol! Great service and my skin was glowing afterwards! Thank you all so much for the great customer service. I will be returning for that service!!!

From the time I walked into the spa, the customer service, attention, and the massage I received was such a great experience!! This was my first time at Sanctuary Spa and I had one of the best massages ever. Tina was attentive, professional, and her massages left me refreshed and relaxed!! Highly recommend!!

Karen is an incredible facialist! She transformed my skin in the year leading up to my wedding and always leaves me feeling totally relaxed and confident. I can’t recommend her enough

This was my first time at this spa. The ambiance was relaxing and the facial was amazing. The owner was very responsive to an issue that occurred with me not receiving the full allotted time during my facial. I really appreciated her response and the genuine care she had to make the situation right. Thanks Sabrina!

Absolutely love it here!! been coming every 6-8 weeks for a couple years now i think. i always have Kim do my 60 min personalized facials and she’s the best!! it smells sooooo good and they offer tea, light snacks, a massage chair, etc in the back waiting room before your appointment. the spa is beautifully decorated and i always feel 100% relaxed. they use the best products for my facial and i’ve seen an incredible improvement in my skin. Kim also always advises me for products I should use outside of my facials to keep my face healthy and moisturized. my skin is plump and i’ve seen a decrease in fine lines. i will always be a client here!!

This is a cozy neighborhood spa, and conveniently located in the city of Houston with parking. Savannah performed my facial and microdermabrasion, and my service was excellent: informative, friendly, and attentive. I will return many times!

Lovely experience! The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I had a hot stone massage and it was heavenly. My therapist, Emily, had an excellent technique. She was great about checking in and making any adjustments to the treatment. They have covid procedures in place which are clearly stated. Overall, highly recommend!

Alright so after my not so ideal experience at Sanctuary the first go around, the owner, Sabrina sent me a message on Yelp and followed up with a call to talk to me about my experiences. She was very professional, did not try to make excuses and reassured me that she would talk to other clients with the same masseuse that day to see if they had the same experiences. She was courteous and extended an offer for me to come back so that they could make it right - now I dont expect businesses to do this because I understand they lose money but I really appreciated the gesture and it shows me that Sabrina really wanted to fix the issue. It also shows good business practice and that the business has a gold standard they want to achieve and wont accept anything but perfection. So thank you Sabrina for making right, in doing so youve gained another repeat customer and hopefully recommendations for others to come!As for my second experience here, it was definitely way way better than the first. I was greeted and checked-in by Sabrina herself. Then I was lead to the back room and the girl offered to set up the massage chair for me this time around. That was really helpful cause I had no idea the first time how to do it. She even offered me water, tea or snacks! Again, missing from the first experience. I was able to relax in the massage chair for about 10 mins before my masseuse Nakia (apologize if I got the name wrong) grabbed me. She discussed my expectations and needs and she actually listened to what I told her, everything was what I wanted and more! Her motions are fluid, her pressure was softer than I would like but also so on point - I know that doesnt make sense but every time I had the urge to tell her to increase the pressure, it was just enough that it was relaxing and not painful and I could also feel that it was helpful - kneading out my knots and pulling in all the right places! Im glad I let her work her magic! The only complaint was the massage oil was a menthol - which made me smell like a grandma afterwards and made me feel so cold during the whole massage. Im sure it was good for my muscles though so I cant complain too much. The hot towels were amazing and so was the heated massage bed - not something I experienced the first time.Overall, I would love to see Nakia again and Im glad she was made lead masseuse at Sanctuary! Cant wait to go back for more and for a facial!

I had my first facial with Kim today and everything was amazing from start to finish. I was immediately greeted and taken back to the waiting area which I was offered a massage chair and tea. The room was really peaceful. She first started off with a consultation which I shared my concerns, goals and skincare history. Every step along the way was explained. I was not pressured to buy any items although I did. I will definitely be back every 4-6 weeks to see Kim. Thank you Spa Sanctuary!

Really enjoyed the revitalize package for a full 4hrs of relaxation with minimal wait time between services. Intimate spa, but feels spacious once you’re inside. Very good practitioners.I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely love this spa. They always do an amazing job with my facials or massages and the membership is a good price for the quality. I always feel very relaxed and refreshed.

I last minute schedule a birthday spa day and it.was.magical. Jenny, Marisol and Savannah made this day so, so, so special! I cannot recommend their services enough. Everyone was so calming and the overall experience was SO relaxing.

Savannah performed the best facial on me. I left with my skin feeling amazing. She gave me such a relaxing massage. Can’t wait to go back!! Book with her, you won’t regret it.

Wasn’t going to post this if the sanctuary had some sort of integrity instead of blaming their customers for a mistake reception made with my booking just when i thought my experience couldn’t get any worse this is me after a microdermabrasion facial at the sanctuary with jinky Ive gotten about 6 microdermabrasion facials before and this has never happened before quality and customer service has gone down the drain now Im forced to look like Ive been attacked by Freddy Kruger until this heals people go to the spa for rest and relaxation not to be put through more stress and discomfort

I had a customized facial by Aime. She was very attentive to my skin concerns and customized the facial to address them. It was very relaxing and felt great. All of the staff were pleasant and welcoming. This was my first time there and it was a great experience! Would recommend.

Every time I go there, I always feel so pampered and well taken care of. The staff at sanctuary spa will go above and beyond to provide for your needs. Emilie and Jill are fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

I had been wanting to go to Sanctuary Spa for years after reading that it is one of Houstons best day spas. I finally got myself there, and I couldnt have been happier! The whole experience was FANTASTIC!From the front desk area to the relaxation room before your treatments to the beautiful treatment rooms, the space and the people were all top notch!But, the real magic was the facial...and Jess! WOWSA!! I loved every single second of it! Jess was so nice, professional, and clearly very skilled. I cannot wait to book my next appointment. I will definitely be going back ASAP! I give Jess 10 stars!They also knew my birthday was coming up, so I got a bday discount and a sweet bday card. I always have an excellent experience every time I come here. The service is exceptional. My husband always gets me one of the spa packages for special occasions which includes full body massage and a facial. Tina was my massage therapist and she was really really good. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards. They make you feel super welcomed and it’s just a feel good experience. Love it!

Update : the owner reached out to me shortly after the review. i missed her initial call and listened to the voicemail. she was so sincere in apologizing for our experience, and i called her back to speak to her directly. she was very open to what i had to say and was super pleasant to speak to. she offered a solution to the situation and was just super genuine. speaking to her and seeing how much she cared about the state of her business did change my opinions of the establishment. i will be going back to give it a second try. thank you sabrina :Di brought my mom here for her birthday and we got the duo massage package. it is a super cute establishment and the guest service girl was super sweet. she helped us get set up and brought water. i was excited to get to unwind and relax in their meditation room prior to our services. in the meditation room, there was a little girl playing tiktok videos on full volume that heavily disrupted being able to relax. another woman came in and threw her bag down and rummaged loudly through the snack station. this hindered being able to feel like i could unwind a bit before, and my mother felt the same. my massage therapist was sam and he was fantastic. he consulted with me prior to my service and went over what i would like and did just that! im unsure of who my moms therapist was but she was coughing and sniffling the ENTIRE service and since we were in the same room, disrupted any chance of either of us totally relaxing. the facility is beautiful, but there were totally plenty of factors that have hindering either of us wanting to return.

I had an amazing experience with Sanctuary Spa! At 29 weeks pregnant, I desperately wanted some relaxation and this was just the place for that. The waiting area is so cozy and gets you in the mindset for the experience. First, I had a 60 minute prenatal massage with Lauren T and she was so welcoming and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She talked about my goals before we started and checked in periodically to make sure I was still comfortable. Then I had a facial with Jill which was exceptional as well. She went over my skin history and instantly I felt my skin was smoother and more hydrated after. She did a great job of explaining what products she was using and helped me with ideas of ones I could add to my daily routine as well. I will definitely be back in the future!

Sanctuary Spa provides a great client experience. The staff is very professional but at the same time warm and welcoming. I scheduled a 75 minute massage and a stress relief backpack with Lindsey. She did a superb spa treatment for me. She listened to my needs and tailored my massage accordingly. She has a great touch and I will be scheduling with her every time I can be in Houston. Thank you Lindsey for a relaxing and pampering massage!

I had such a relaxing morning getting pampered. I would highly recommend going here... it is absolutely worth every penny! From the moment I walked in, both receptionist greeted me with a smile and helped me settle in. Im 33 week pregnant and started with a prenatal message then went onto a facial. My masseuse, Emilie, was amazing! I went ahead and scheduled one more massage before my baby comes because she was that good. My aesthetician, Karen, was equally as good and will definitely be scheduling another one once my baby comes.Updated: definitely a 5 star place! I had a pregnancy brain moment and didnt realize I put 4 stars instead of 5

Such a wonderful gem of a spa! I have been coming this year for massages and facials and it has been a godsend. Worth every penny. I always walk out feeling like I am walking on clouds.For facials, you definitely need to get the Personalized Facial with Tamara. She tailors it to your skin type and needs, and never tries to oversell you on products. My skin hasnt looked this good consistently in years.For massages, I absolutely insist you book with Tina. I have recurring muscle spasms in my back, so massages have become more of a need than a luxury. She uses a ton of techniques, so that every massage feels like its tailored to your muscles that day. She does deep tissue without you feeling battered and bruised, but you feel it the next day when the knots are gone. Call her now!

Massage therapist Jen was awesome!!! She was friendly, gentle and The environment was very calm and serene. The massage was worth every penny. On the other hand, the Yoni steam needs improvement! The room.was very small and was equipped with 4 steam chairs, 2 new high tech chairs and 2 older chairs. We barely had standing room and was expected to disrobe in that space with 2 other people. The new chairs took a long time to heat up but when did heat up, the temp went u to 122 degrees.....TOO HOT! We wanted to jump off. Instead of decreasing the temp the tech had to turn the chair off completely then restart. We were able to get discount for the discomfort. When I booked the appointment no one explained that there would be an automatic gratuity charge of $35!!!! Make sure they clarify any additional charges during booking!

Absolutely adore Sanctuary Spa. I’ve had a membership on and for for a few years now, and they never disappoint. I started with Annie years ago, and now Tamara is absolutely incredible and the best facialist!!! Facials, massages, products… everything is absolutely top here

Had my first massage and facial here, as well as a yoni steam service. All I can say is WOW! 11/10 will recommend and be back!! The quality and natural products wins me over, but the service just rockets it out of the stratosphere! Everyone is so friendly and inviting. My esthetician, Jill, was absolutely wonderful! She left me glowing, clean and happy! My massage therapist, jenny, left me super relaxed and walking on air! I will definitely be back. Their group packages are also really affordable. Side note, I really appreciated the consultation from both my providers of services to address my specific needs ❤️

This place is so peaceful and comfortable! The massage and facial I received were amazing! The products they use are natural and available if you want to purchase them! The robes are so soft and I plan to get one next time I’m there! Planning on making this a monthly treat for myself!

I had my first visit to Sanctuary Spa today and it was absolutely wonderful! Karen performed my customized facial and Sam was my massage therapist. Both were very professional yet personable and friendly. Not once did I ever feel nervous or uncomfortable. If you want total relaxation that is above and beyond, THIS is your place. I will be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Sanctuary Spa. My masseuse, Jenny, was so careful and thoughtful the entire appointment. She first asked if anything was causing me stress and where I held it most, if anything made me feel uncomfortable, and gave me a verbal agenda for how our time would be spent. Several times during our appointment she checked in with to see if I was feeling ok, if the pressure felt right or if she needed to work on a different part; having someone show that level of care made me feel safe and relaxed. Before I knew it the hour was up - I couldnt wait to book another session and bring my husband.

Incredible first experience at Sanctuary Spa. Everything was top notch, from the space itself to the awesome therapists. I started out with a massage with Kim M and it was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. She is clearly very skilled but beyond that, she is super attentive, observant, and professional. Oh and the aromatherapy was divine. The massage was followed up with an infusion tub therapy session, which was everything I hoped it would be and more. Jess W made me feel so comfortable and pampered from the very beginning, and tailored the treatment just for me, based on advice provided by Kim regarding some extra fluid retention that she noticed during the massage. The result was awesome, relaxing, and rejuvenating. I will definitely be back, and will be asking for Jess and Kim!

This is an amazing spa which I only recently discovered (via a friends referral) and Im so glad I did. I booked half a day at the spa for my birthday. Kicked off with a 90-min massage with Tina (who was amazing!) followed by a yoni steam treatment (tried it for the first time, and will definitely head back for follow ups). Everything about my experience was incredible. The staff was super nice, professional and attentive. Its a quiet facility; I think they manage the number of customers they allow at a time, which I appreciated as I got the peace and quiet I was hoping for, and isnt that why we head to spas to begin with! If yall havent tried yoni, give it a chance. You wont be disappointed. Tina, my massage therapist, was amazing! She gave a top notch massage and hit all the right points. My next appointment is with Kim, look forward to some more relaxing time.

Really enjoyed this spa experience last week! My sister took me here for a belated birthday present and we were both wowed by the personal experience provided. They make you wash your hands first upon entering the spa (obviously great too because we can use the bathroom before the appointment). Then the waiting area is super fragrant and relaxing. Jill was my esthetician and my sister had Tamara. Both ladies did amazing taking care of our skin and suggested products specific to our skin type (which we both took and bought). I purchased the prickly pear oil and have been using it twice daily to help with my dark spots. I can see my face brighten already but I know it will take time for the sunspots to slowly disappear so hopefully it will work! We will be back!

I booked a 90 min massage w/ Jenny & a 75 min facial w/ Kim for my birthday. There wasn’t any time slots back to back, so I had to book them about 2 hours apart, but it wasnt the biggest deal. Jenny was amazing, very attentive. I fell asleep w/in 10 min of the session & will definitely be coming back. Kim was knowledgeable & responsive, but I wish she would have gone into detail about what she was doing during the session. Also, she was a little rough around the eye area when she was wiping product away. My goal for both the facial & massage was to relax, so I can understand why she didn’t want explain every little thing. Everyone at Sanctuary Spa was very sweet & professional & they even gave me a birthday card at the end! Overall, I definitely will be coming back to Sanctuary Spa & recommend both Jenny & Kim.

Had a great massage there today with Emilie! It was my first time there and won’t be my last. All of the ladies who worked there were very nice and the ambience of the whole place was so relaxing and zen. Highly recommend it.

We had an amazing first time visit for a couple’s massage at The Sanctuary Spa! My husband and I both fell in love with the ambiance and personalized treatment. I let them know I had lower back issues and they completely honored my request with care. From the minute we walked in to the signature massage experience, we were treated like royalty! It was the sweetest experience. We can not wait to go back! :)

I went here for the first time for a 2hr massage service with Rudy. Excellent customer service from the staff upon entry. Beautiful relaxation/waiting area. Rudy chatted with me to find out about my back issues and problem areas and seemed very knowledgeable. The table was very comfortable and heated as well. This was the Best massage I’ve ever had! And I am very particular about massages. It was like going to see a massage therapist, chiropractor and (silent)personal trainer all in one! Rudy understood that I need stretching to go along with my massage and I left feeling amazing. Its over 2 days later now and I still feel great. Usually my pain relief only lasts 1/2-1day. I will definitely return!

Emily is truly the best massage therapist I have been to in many years! She listened to everything I needed/wanted and went beyond my expectations. I even fell asleep!😊. Thank you Emily!❤️ The front office staff is also very nice and helpful! This is a great place!

I had the most unique and personalized massage, ever! Lindsey was amazing, very in tune and knowledgeable. The overall atmospheres so nurturing, along with an excellent staff. In addition, what I also really like and appreciate is the fact that youre not being sent out the door as soon as your massage is done. Looking forward to coming back!

I have been to this spa for about 6 months now and try to get a monthly facial here! It’s something that I’m willing to splurge on and it’s SO WORTH IT! The staff makes you feel so welcome and your comfort is their highest priority. I’ve been going to Tamara every time and she really takes care of me! She gets so excited about my skin progress and gives awesome advice. These facials will change your life and make you question why you didn’t get one sooner!!

Tween facial was perfect!My daughter & I are having a short girls getaway this weekend so I wanted to do something special for her. Shes 11yo, so there werent many places that would do a facial. The Tween Facial at Sanctuary was perfect for her, though. Tamara, her aesthetician, took a lot of time to make sure she was comfortable and talk to her about taking care of her skin. While my daughter was getting her facial, I got to relax in the lounge area, and the massage chair was awesome! I highly recommend this place for the level of service they offer!

Best facial I have had in some time. The massage I had was great too. I definitely left feeling relaxed. A plus too is the fact they dont try to use any high sales pushiness on you to buy their products.

I had a wonderful experience with Jenni, she was amazing. After my massage I felt like new! I always have back problems but Jenni definitely made my back feel like new. Highly recommend Sanctuary Spa, very professional staff and the rooms are very nice and clean.

Sanctuary Spa customer service was excellent! I had a wonderful first time experience with the hot stone massage. My massage therapist was very welcoming and explained every step, made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The massage was phenomenal and the heat from the stones relieved the tension of my muscles. I highly enjoyed my session and will absolutely recommend this facility to others.

I am not a person who typically posts reviews BUT I felt compelled to. My spa experience started off with a salt scrub done by Kim. I must say it was really nice. Next I had a 60 minute massage followed by the 60 minute facial. Both of those treatments were performed by Jessica. Omg she is amazing! She took her time and explained what she was doing throughout. I definitely will be back soon. Thanks Jess and Kim for the wonderful day!

I love this place! I discovered it while they were at their old location and was happy they moved to the Shepherd location. I was surprised that I hadnt written a review sooner considering Ive been here a few times already!The staff is super friendly and all the services Ive had are great! Especially the facials! The prices are affordable as well and the staff will advise you to let them know if you feel any discomfort at all during the facial. My skin feels refreshed and rejuvenated after the facials, and I feel so relaxed!Another benefit is that they dont put pressure on you to buy products. They recommend products to you during your session and afterwards but they dont push you towards one thing or another. Thank goodness!Love this place -- my go to for facials and relaxation!

Amazing experience, it was my 1st time getting a prenatal massage and facial. And I wish I would have gone sooner. From booking to paying was a smooth process. There were some issues with the payment that they made the process supper easy.

Kim did my brow shape and tint. She did a great job! First time coming there since my other lady closed due to covid. Went to another lady elsewhere that was not great! I was very impressed with this place. Would go back again for sure.Went back and got the HENNA. She did another great job and they are very nice. Highly recommend it. It is a bit more than my last place but worth it!

Toya is a master at massage! I feel like my massage was created just for me. I’ve had massages at Post Oak Hotel and it didn’t even compare to Sanctuary Spa!!

I had the most amazing facial with Courtney. It was a gift for Mothers Day from my son and daughter in law. I told her she needed Angel added to her job description. The facility and staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be a regular customer.

A friend bought me a gift certificates, but I wasnt able to use it due to the pandemic. I finally came to town and had a chance to go, and from the people who answered the phone, to someone who called me back when no one answered despite my not even leaving a message, to the check in, to the practitioners, the service was wonderful. I had to bring my mom due to scheduling conflicts, and they said it would be ok prior and never made an issue about her bagged to go food probably wafting through the relaxation room lol. I usually wait until Ive been somewhere three times to review, so Ill update this with names and such later, but I wanted to thank the ladies for making what unbeknownst to them was a stressful period of our lives nicer. Ill book for my mom next. Customer service and making people feel welcome and comfortable goes beyond a mere job description and elevates to the greatest and most elusive gift that we are all searching for deep down: PEACE. Thanks, ladies.

Update: ☝️ after submitting my review I immediately received a call from a very professional lady , her name Sabrina ...she was very polite, nice and sincerely caring about my concerns..she apologized for my experience and generously offered to compensate me .After this I got to know that I’m dealing with a real business who take customers service seriously to highest level, this business is small but big with their customers obsession, and I personally have high respect to such people, for this reason I’ll definitely give it another chance soon , as a kind of support and encouragement to recognize and reward their customer obsessionI will add a new update after I visit them again in near future.Visited this place around 2 or less months ago ..after reading the reviews , front office staff was very nice , friendly and professional, I decided to request Jill based on the reviews againshe looked very informative and experienced .the bed was very warm and comfortable..the entire atmosphere was very nice and relaxing ...she started applying products one after one , but never shared what was she using..so i had no idea what kind of products she used ! The facial was for an hour...the last 10-15 minutes were the best of the entire time ..while i stated at the beginning with her that i came to this spa for 2 main goals , glow and relaxationShe finished, room is dark low lighting , no mirror i wanted to see my face to evaluate results, i had to go to restroom to have a mirror...wasn’t impressed, not different than the regular skin care routine i do at night . I had a lot of white heads under skin needed to be removed by a facial tech like her but i was her last client i guess thats why she decided to do quick rush service .The outcome result was , NO glow , No complete extraction on whiteheads, 10-15 minutes comfortable feeling out of the 1 hour journey.Unfortunately not satisfied😔, I did tipped her generously in spite of that.

I had a 90 minute massage by Tina and it was the best massage of my life! She found every problem area on my back and worked through them. The spa itself is intensely relaxing. I searched for a while to find a perfect spa in Houston after moving back 6 months ago. So happy Sanctuary and Tina are here to keep Houston pampered.

Listen!!!!! I am in love with this place. The atmosphere is conducive for relaxing everything and truly clearing your mind from the citys hustle and bustle. I received a Yoni steam, Facial and massage. I enjoyed all of my services. I booked an immediate appointment for the next week to get another massage. Tina is my new best friend!!! She did things to my back that made me feel like I had two glasses of full-bodied red wine!!! Imagine trying to drive from their location to Rosharon, TX....Nothing short of a miracle worker!! You owe it to yourself to get there now!!

Wonderful experience overall! My cousin and I drove in from Beaumont Texas just to treat ourselves to a mom day it was well worth the drive. Everything was so clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The staff is very punctual. They are right there at your every step to make the experience what its suppose to be. Relaxing. From the massage, to the yoni-extended, even the quality my cousin recieved from her brazilian wax everything was top tier. They make sure to follow CDC guidelines in the best ways they can. More than just a relaxing experience!

I had an excellent first experience at Sanctuary Spa. I booked a 60 minute Signature Massage with Lindsey and a 60 minute Breas Signature Restorative Facial with Jill. Both technicians were kind and professional, and both services were relaxing and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the aroma therapy throughout each service. I will definitely come back to Sanctuary Spa.

Booked this last minute for a birthday gift to myself, best decision ever!!! Gorgeous facility, easy to get to, I got the 45 minute Swedish massage with oils and best decision I ever made. Small, luxurious and just what I needed as a little gift to myself for the holidays. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Not sure if from the massage oil or facial products but I broke out across my chest after visiting. I dont have sensitive skin and even showered as soon as I got home to get the oil off.Also Ive developed a major sore/swollen spot on my thigh post-massage. I havent done any physical activity so I dont know what else it could be from 😕 will not be returning here.

Its been about three days since my spa day and I still feel like it just happened yesterday. I absolutely adored it here and would recommend to any and everyone. From the very moment I walked in the very moment I left, I felt like royalty. Everyone here is phenomenal!

Karen is my girl!! She has this nurturing/kind spirit about her. She’s extremely tentative to detail, nurturing, extremely knowledgeable about the products she uses on you and cares about her clients successful path to having beautiful skin. I will definitely book her again and again for a facial. She’s absolutely AMAZING!!

Place is nice and clean. I was planning to get a few months of electrolysis, but, my first visit wasnt very pleasant after my treatment. The girl in the front tried to cheat me by saying my gift card only had $80. All my information was gathered the day I set up the appointment including the amount of the card so she knew the exact amount. Then, I got home and I started having a bad reaction from the treatment, I called the spa twice and asked to speak with Jess to let her know and get her advice, I was told she was busy but will pass my message and Jessica would call me back, this never happened, I ended up calling my dermatologist to ask her what should I use to treat the reaction.Todays massage and facial were good, but, I wont return here to finish my electrolysis sessions.

Ive had a lot of massages in my life. But nothing was as good as this I would give this more stars if I could. The place is cozy, clean very friendly staff you will feel very comfortable around them they are very down-to-earth. Now the massage is out of this world it is super super fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a massage. If Im ever in Houston again its the first place Im coming to.

I usually never do reviews but I had the most amazing spa experience with Latonya at sanctuary spa. As soon as i walked in the door my spa experience began with being escorted to the relaxation room to sit in a massage chair, have hot tea, and relax until Latonya was ready for me. Latonya was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring towards my needs. we went over my skin concerns as i had previously had a facial done at another place four days prior that had left my skin highly irritated, red, and blotchy. Latonya made sure i was completely relaxed and comfortable every step of the way. Latonyas hand are amazing and gave the the best massage experience with a facial that I have ever had. I was instantly distressed and I left her room with a soothed glowing hydrated complexion again. I will definitely be a return customer of Latonyas and the sanctuary experience.

My wife and I came for a couples massage for 90 minutes and it was incredibly relaxing and informative. Our masseuses (Rudy and Jenny) were able to give us tips for at home stretches and activities that we can do to help us after our massage as well. In addition there is a lovely cafe right next door where you can grab a bite to eat after your massage to top off a great day!

Awesome massage by Andrea! I went in due to a shoulder injury in yoga. She focused on my shoulder and told me it would be a little sore the next day. I felt so relaxed and the next day and I was a little sore but my shoulder feels so much better. Cant wait to get back to my Chaturangas! I also got a facial because why not? I was already there. I had to wait in the relaxation room for my facial and I almost fell asleep because I was soooooo relaxed after my massage! I will be back!

Sanctuary Spa is a great place for healing the body. I suffer from sciatica nerve damage. But they took the responsible of caring for me anyway. Before going there I could barely walk. It seemed as if laying in my bed was the only kind of relief I could find. My husband and I were not enjoying each other much either. Because everything was painful. But Sanctuary Spa used their G-5 cellulite treatment and I cant believe what a difference it made. If was design to attack cellulite or cellulose and it did I am sure. But it also took all the pressure off my sciatic nerve. I was told the next day I would have some pain but the next day I am walking more than the day before. My husband says I went up and down the stairs 15 times if not more. He was not playing I counted the times too.You gave me back my life and my husband and I will always recommend Sanctuary Spa. I would rather give my money to you all any day than any doctor. I know you dont treat conditions directly but indirectly you killed two birds with one stone. If you ask my husband he may even say 3 birds( enjoying each other again is an added bonus). Again I cant thank you enough.I pray people flow into your business. They will never regret it nor stop coming.Professional, Clean, Freindly and Miracle Workers. Thank you

Absolutely LOVED my first prenatal massage with Tina. Im 30 weeks and wish I had done this sooner. I plan to return and make this a habit. The ambiance and mood the moment you enter is first class and very quiet and relaxing.

Everytime I book here they call me 10+ times before my appointment to either change the time or date then the day before call again & say the masseuse will be out. It seems this happens often because I let it go the first two times, but after the third I’m done with this place. Try to be more organized because your really causing more stress than it needs to be on your customers.

I went in to get the Vichy shower and a massage. Normally when going to a place to receive a one on one service, im usually timid and it takes time for me to warm up to nice conversation with the staff. Here, I felt really comfortable. I love the tranquil atmosphere and the low lit rooms. All of the room designs fit together to create a nice ambiance. I left feeling loose and relaxed. Ill definitely be back.

I came in on Tuesday for a facial with Jessica. She was absolutely amazing and I truly loved the entire experience. She was very sweet and informative and took the time to address my personal skin issues. I left feeling amazing! However, over the past few days since then, my entire face has been peeling raw to the point where it has become increasingly painful to wash my face. Luckily I’ve been off work for the holiday and haven’t had any events, because there would be no way I could apply make up currently with the amount of pain and peeling. I’ve never had this experience of my skin reacting like this before, and I don’t recall any sort of peel being used, so I am disappointed to have had this reaction.

Everything was wonderful, I had the Korean Scrub with Donato and I was very happy with it. There were two issues that I did have or I would have given it 5 stars.1.The description didnt include having my hair washed and that caught me off guard because I am very particular about what I put in my hair since it is chemically treated. They used a generic shampoo and I ended up having to go straight home and re-wash my hair. Another, more personal, reason is that I hate shampoo bubbles and I was extremely uncomfortable during that part. It wasnt a huge deal but I would have liked to have known beforehand so I could have requested that that part get skipped.2. It was very unclear about what to do with my things- there is no locker room but robes in the restroom. I wasnt sure if I should change... or why else they were there... but since I wasnt told what to do I let them be and just stayed in my clothes and held onto my things in the waiting lounge. In the waiting/relaxation area there was a woman on her cellphone talking loudly- it would have been nice if maybe the staff had taken notice because she was on it for a while (and then proceeded to talk to herself about it after the call ended which was a bit odd but entertaining)Not huge inconveniences but worth mentioning to the next person looking to come here. I would definitely go again and I would recommend the Korean Scrub for sure!

I visited Sanctuary this morning for the first time, and had a great experience, and the best facial I’ve ever had. Karen is fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind, and the treatment was awesome. I’ll be coming back here many times!

This was the first experience Ive ever had at a spa and it was amazing! I arrived a little early to fill out paperwork like they say to when you first sign up. The paperwork took a few minutes and then for the rest of the time I sat in their relaxation room. Here you can sit in massage chairs while you enjoy snacks, tea, water, or prosecco.I got a facial and a seaweed wrap. Both were amazing!! I usually have a hard time falling asleep but I was so relaxed during both of these treatments that I almost dozed off. This is definitely a place to visit if you are in need of some relaxation!

This was the second year we celebrated my daughter birthday at the spa. We had an Akasuri Scrub with Lauren T. It was absolutely the best ever scrub we have ever had. When we travel we like to book scrubs at different spas. Lauren is on the very top of the list. The Spa is very clean and relaxing. Cant say enough good things. Thank you Lauren.

I was going to give this place 5 stars ⭐️ because Jill and Jenny were amazing but the girls taking your appointment and charging horrible I guess they don’t know what they’re doing first I said this is a gift! for my mom please don’t say the price out loud please put on the notes she say yup will do, after our relaxing massage and facial go out to pay first thing girl does is Yell it’ll be 1$$$ am like really!! Mom went back to be worried because it was a lot money so there goes her stress free day..Then proceeds to charge the wrong amount next day am getting calls that they need to charge more because they made a mistake so if u need to make an appointment do it online and triple check the price they’re telling u and charging you is right!! Or also just pay online 🤷‍♀️

My wife treated me to Facial and Lymphatic Massage. I was warmly greeted and escorted by my esthetician to the salon. She was professional and it was thoroughly refreshing. Highly recommend 👌 👍 ☆☆☆☆☆

Love love love this place! First time doing the Yoni steam ever! Rachael explained everything to a T and gave us recommendations that we will use on our next visit. This place is really relaxing from the time you walk in! The young lady at the front check out area was great as well! Every woman should have a Yoni Steam! I found me a new Me Time place to relax and recharge!

Sanctuary Spa was so clean and calming. I felt the stress melt away as Kimberly massaged me with these beautifully scented essential oils. I am definitely coming back!

Yoni steam and Prosecco??? Amazing! Regina assisted me with a yoni steam and explained everything so thoroughly to me. It was my first yoni steam and I’m highly considering adding it to monthly regime and definitely bringing a friend with me next time. The room I was in had 4 chairs for yoni steam, so it made for the perfect environment to bring your girlfriends and relax. Regina set me up with a gown to wear and assisted me on how to sit properly over the steam. She checked in on me every few minutes to make sure I was doing well and even brought me a glass of Prosecco. The aroma from the steam was very soothing and beneficial to my yoni, and I also really appreciated the aromatic cold towels she brought to prevent me from overheating. Can’t wait for my next service! 10/10

First time here with a really good friend to get the yoni, which weve gotten before at another place. Walking in the aromatherapy was amazing, we were greeted promptly😁. Walking thru the spa everything looks nice and clean. We were shown to the room for our yoni and fully enjoyed time. The yoni was amazing and much better than our first experience at a different spa. We will be returning very soon.

I went in for a yoni steam I read about the spa and also studied steaming it helps women that have certain issues like fibroids infertility etc. when u walk in the spa theres a instant comforting feel to the place,I arrived early so they had me do paperwork and took me to a relaxing waiting area with dim lights and tea, champagne and massage chairs. The yoni steaming was beyond relaxing I thought I would read a book but was so relaxed I couldnt keep my eyes open.i highly recommended this place they also do massages facials hair removal along with yoni steaming. I found my new go to spa.i wish it was one closer to me in north Houston but hey u cant have it all right. Definitely will return. 8-8-19

“20th Anniversary”Place was gorgeous and clean! Staff was friendly and took care of everything. Even things you would not think to ask for! They left us a sweet treat for our anniversary. It is a place every couple should go! And we will definitely be going back!!!

I absolutely love this spa! I especially love Jonathan who does both message and facials.I have an illness that often isnt kind to your skin. First off, unlike other estheticians, Jonathan was willing to work with me and my issues. Jonathan takes the time with each client to fully understand your problems, and/or needs. In my case, he wasnt just looking at a basic facial for problematic skin issues such as acne, adult acne, redness, overly dry or oily skin and aging. Jonathan was looking at a person with pretty bad scar tissue from several biopsies on the nose. The biopsies had created a large amount of scar tissue and slightly changed the shape of my nose. I didnt feel like me!Prior to seeing Jonathan, I had tried every product known to man and several different estheticians throughout Houston with absolutely NO RESULTS. I had spoken to my medical doctors about the problems and they had no real answers. I had almost given up any hope of my old nose returning, until I met Jonathan.Jonathan took the time to research my particular problem and came up with a plan he thought might work. Needless to say, thanks to Jonathans research, ability to be creative and so much more, after almost 7 years of unhappiness due to the changes in my nose, I now have hope that one day, my original nose will reappear.After my first treatment, I saw an improvement and today, after several additional facials I fully believe my problems due to scarring from several biopsies are on the way to disappearing.Jonathan doesnt try to sell you a bunch of products you might already have, or simply cant afford to replace all your products at home. Theres no need to fear that Jonathan will recommend thousands of dollars in home care products. Hes happy to educate you on the various product lines they sell, but theres no pressure at all!I have never been more impressed by an esthetician (and Ive seen too many to count). You cant go wrong with using Jonathan for your facial needs. I fully believe hes one of the best in the business. I highly recommend Jonathan at Sanctuary Spa for your facial needs, even complex facial needs.Theres no one better in my book! Thank you Jonathan!!!

It feels like the massage is customized to my bodys needs each time I come in. Last time it was a shoulder issue and this time it was lower back pain. Spot on results. Most definitely will be a regular here.

This is my first time trying this place out. I found them on google & decided to give them a try due to their good reviews. I went for a v-steam, and I initially was nervous. Amanda was very knowledgeable & made me very comfortable. I just wish I wouldve paid for more time. I will definitely be coming back.

The customer service was great. The only things is for the Yoni Steam they dont offer different herbs for different problems. There is only one herb blend used for Yoni steam.
