Double Apple Hookah Lounge

This is a after hour spot, they close at 4am! Their food is pretty good, also have great hookah as well! My server was very friendly and down to earth! You have to get there early to have a decent section, because it can get very packed!

The place is very small and there is a charge. It isnt a place worth the charge plus its BYOB so youd have to pay more to bring your bottle. Its crowded and it was hot both inside and outside, just not a fully enjoyable experience.

Horrible space, service, parking & cleanliness. They sold every single table & chair but continued to sell hooka. We had to stand at the corner of the bar & constantly ran over &/or asked to move by staffing & security. Never going back.

Horrible experience, service and atmosphere. This used to be my favorite hookah place for years and sadly it has turned into a place I will never go again.20 / parking40 / door entry (per person)80 / just to sit down (in patio && was told only after being seated)It is packed beyond capacity, the music is so loud that you have to yell in someone’s ear in order for them to hear you. When we were informed the $80 charge was ONLY for the table, we did not stay. Despite occupying the table for less than 5 minutes, they refused to refund it. If I could rate it 0 stars, I would.

Service for hookahs is horrible. I had to ask six people for coals. I waited an hr for them to bring me new coals mat which point my hookah was already useless.

Did not eat there. Some nights are good Some are bad...few years ago I jammed in there..last visit this year..it was funky...maybe because my taste changed a bit..

I paid $40 to walk to the front in the waiting area near the doorman and sit outside ($20 park $20 at the door) and after 20 mins sitting at the entrance my party could not come. The door guy watched me the entire time while letting individuals inside the place for free. The waitress initially quoted me $350 minimum to sit on the patio because of my party size, which turned out to be $200 higher than the real price. After the emergency came up I asked the door guy for my money back since my party could not attend the establishment festivities he refused and let 3 additional men and 2 women into the establishment for free even though I paid him $20 at the door. Even though I did not go into the establishment (besides asking the waitress for a place to sit) he said “no refunds”. The door guy then proceeded to say come back Monday when the boss is here to ask for a refund. After asking what time they are opened on Monday he proceeded to say he did not know and then ask security that I needed to be removed from the premises. The security then stated I needed to look up the location hours for Monday and I noticed the location was closed on Monday. I mentioned to the door guy that the establishment was closed on Monday then he asked for my contact info. This place PREYs on the black community regardless if they participate in the establishment festivities or not. They charge $20 for parking lot even though there are 8 additional businesses in the strip mall that have no affiliation. I know the door guy will not contact me because he lied about the establishment being open on Monday. Additionally he refused to give me the first name of the boss because I wanted to know who to ask for when I stated multiple times that I would come Monday to speak with him/her myself about the $20 cash I gave to sit and wait.

We were looking for a spot to pull up and just enjoy.. low cost, high vibes and BYOB. We normally go to Nomad, Pergola or Wasif.. all in the same area but hey, decided to try a new spot, we came here and heard the music and was like.. yeah .. this is it.. no. . Got to the door, the security said it was $20 a person to include byob cost. No it’s $20 to get in and $11 per person for BYOB. They charged my friend $40 because she “didn’t have id” but she had proof of id.. I understand that part but.. that was odd. Anyway.. we get in, sit down and boom. A ticket well beyond what was anticipated. Needless to say.. it’s a vibe with your people.. coming early .. it jumps for an after hours spot!. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Horrible experience!!! The worst security . All of them are drink looking for a fight . How your security is the most drunk and dangerous people here. Most unprofessional place I’ve ever been .

The people and service were great. The food was not good and was expensive for the quality.

I personally want to thank Winter, O’Shay, & Dyamond. Their service was so great and kept making sure I was okay! Double apple is an underrated spot in my opinion. Everytime I go the vibes are good and I have a great time. If you’re looking for the best after hours in Houston this is it.

Waitress lied tried to get us to buy a table had to talk to management. Beware of the waitresses they are liars. Also they puck and choose who pays for parking. Other than that nice atmosphere for after hours spot

Was told by a waitress we had to pay $100 to sit at a table on the balcony. When ask why she said that was policy even though we were there the night before and didn’t pay anything. She then proceeded to say that was policy for the last two weeks and we had to either give her the $100 dollars via cash or cash app only or order something adding up to $100. This seemed suspicious so we called the restaurant and they said they don’t do that. Next thing we know another waitress told us people had bought out the very table we were sitting at and was told to leave. Very scammy waitresses and would not recommend.

This place is a greedy, scammy, hole in the wall. They make you pay $20 to park yourself! Entry is $20. Reentry is $10. The place is the size of 1bd 1ba apartment. The tables are picnic size or even end table size. $10 fee for each person drinking at the table after all of that!After 2 they want you to leave unless you rebuy your table. The smallest table has enough room to hold one hookah and maybe the cup youre drinking out of and starts at 150!Oh speaking of the hookah, it starts at 27.99 and you buy your disposable hose for 2.00 but then theres 20% gratuity and your drinking fee. All of that just for them to give you half a bowl of shisha. Youll be tasting coals in less than 20 mins of even having it.I was invited to this place. I would never come back here. As much money as Afro-Arabics make together these ppl ought to be ashamed of themselves.

I had an amazing experience at Double apple! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they helped me find a section while it was crowded, the place was clean & the food+hookah I tried there were satisfying for me. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a late weekend night party!

Decent place. Ok music. Good location. Parking is expensive ($20). The establishment has no spaces for handicapp parking. As a 100% disabled veteran, it was disappointing to have to pay for parking because ZERO HANDICAPPED parking was offered, nor available. The manager talked to the parking attendant and claimed there was nothing he could do.

Don’t think twice about it COME HERE !! Vibe music and food is amazing our waitress Shay was absolutely great and attentive we will be back and we bringing all our friends love love love this place

Really nice place! Hookah is very reasonably priced and the people and dj were very welcoming and the music was on point! I wish there were more people there maybe more promotion would help with that

Overpriced spot. Lady at the door said it was $20 to get in with the bottle just to get charge an extra $10 inside for the bottle. Watch out for your credit card the total won’t reflect your statement.

I was there celebrating my Birthday I enjoyed it, music played by the DJ truly added to the vibe of the lounge and made my night this place is very good to celebrate occasions with friends, Overall I highly recommend visiting especially if you will do your birthday there You wont be disappointed

DO NOT COME HERE !!! You pay $20 to get in but In order to sit with your hookah it’s $100 a table now get this they charging 20-25$ to park , now if you purchase a hookah you gone have to hold your hookah !! This is not the place to go might as well go where it’s free to sit and have a hookah , the waitresses are telling customers different prices to make money it’s a whole mess it’s a no for me and I’m not even from here smh management on down is a mess

We brought one bottle In it it was supposed to be one charge for the bottle she tried to charge 6 people she went and got security to back her up I was recording in our defense she looked like she wanted to fight us she got in my face I stood up security came she swong MISSED then got hit from 3 different ways very unprofessional and rude

I was visiting Houston from coming from California, Highly recommend visiting double apple lounge, it is definitely worth the visit, I stayed there till 4 AM.

Do not go to this lounge. The waitress are scamming people on $100 tables.Asking customers to cashapp them $100 for a table, Customer service is horrible.Warning do not go here.
