Looking for an after hours that plays Afro beats? This is IT! Emanuel and the guys at the door were super accommodating, dj was good, great spot to dance the night until the early morning away! We had a booth, which was convenient so we could sit down as needed,. Had a nice time in Houston for a girls trip

I’ve been coming here for about 4yrs andnever had any issues. Last Saturday me andmy friend arrived at 3:30am and the bouncers decided to charge us $20 each entry fee which double what everyone normal pays. I asked himwhy $20 each instead of normal $10, he replied “ because it’s late”. I find that to be completely preposterous because theyclose at 5am.I told myself, ain’t no way am paying $40 for place that deserve free entry because it’s not too that great inside. We were wise enough to take ourself home.

Great place to go after hours. Good vibes and food, be careful with the chili sauce lol, even its so spicy but cant eat without it, sooooo delicious!!!!! Music is great too, just hard to find space if you come late. The only thing I dont like is the floor and some tables were sticky. l went there while they just opened, but still they were sticky, so perhaps they need to do better cleaning.

I literally come here every weekend. This is the best African after hour spot in Houston for sure! The bartenders are amazing and the rest of the staff are great. If you’re looking for a fun place to listen to some good music and have great vibes this is definitely the place for you.

Love this spot! Left a bar that was closing at 2 and wanted to keep the party going with my Girls Night Out. This was definitely an experience! The bartenders are so friendly and the dj plays all the right song! Definitely coming back!

If you just wanna sit and chill while enjoying music then this spot is for you not for dance fanatics. We found it boring, no one was dancing at 5am or earlier. Age group is more older people.

This is my absolute favorite after hours in houston. The food, drinks and hookah are always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this club to anyone looking for somewhere to have fun.

Would really recommend this place. Had fantastic time the service was on point, they were so nice and courteous. The vibe is so dope it was smiles and ppl having a good time which in return made us feel at ease and welcome felt free to have fun. I am from Jersey and was visiting Houston and heard about this place. I was with a party of 8 for a birthday celebration and so this was one of the places we hit. It was super dope! I danced the entire time; Table service was great! The food was really good, whoever season that chicken season the h*ll out of it! Finger licking good! Id say get there early if you want a table, the place fills up quickly. We got our table as we walked in, and the table prices are fair. Definitely recommend it if youre visiting Houston and want to get out. 5 Stars!

Ive been coming to New Ice since 4 years ago and has been nothing but great experience! Now that is newly renovated is way much nicer. The music, sounds and lightning are amazing. Food is great, the hookahs are on point! and bottle service is definitely at way better price than any other clubs. Parking is safer than cloud9 club where my car was broken into. New Ice is the place to be if youre looking for somewhere to end the night or morning!

Although the night was great, the bartender never returned the card and tried to pay the DJ $1000 and had another fraudulent transaction of $500 for God knows what . I swear no matter how much I want to support a black business THIS is a reason why it makes it so hard to. When people wonder why people dont support a black business you have NO REASON or NO RIGHT to be baffled or mad when things like this happen.

I went on a Friday and even though it was really busy the service was excellent and on point. you don’t need to go anywhere else for anything because they have everything you need. They have food, amazing drinks and hookah as well. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back!

Make sure you bring your dancing shoes, coz the place is such a good African vibes, you won’t be seated for long. You’ll dance and enjoy your night as never you have before. Only good vibes there and good food. Highly recommended ✅✅

Had great time went out with friends that were from out of town I been there before a couple time always had a great time I was really impressed with the service not like other after hour it was professional yet at the same time they knew how to have fun and show you a good time time… bartenders were fast with service even tho it was busy and were fun dropped some gem jokes they were pretty cool to be honest so I would 100 percent recommend this place

They will delete this. Do not come to this place. If you pay for a section, it doesn’t mean anything. We paid for a section and the 8 people that were supposed to come for free will end up paying to get and the money will not be refunded. They do not care about your business. Management’s tone became more disrespectful as I remained level headed and he walked away mid-conversation as I explained the mishap. Go somewhere else like Blue Moon where your service will be appreciated. If I can give zero stars I would.

Very similar to Cloud 9 but a better crowd for after hours. Cloud 9 has changed and is no longer an African club. Go here and youll have less crowding and the DJ still plays African music. Suya is good here too. :)
