βConsβ They can easily put electric fans inside of these sections - it is hot as heck inside here and you want to tell me they canβt install electric fans inside of these sections? Just poor setup to be honest.βProsβ The pool party is fun the atmosphere is big nice swimming pool in the middle DJ stage is big.
This club was recommended by two friends, so when a member of my group suggested we go to ClΓ© instead of Bloom, I was all for it.Parking varies, its anywhere from $20-$100. I think $100 is ridiculous but you can find street parking. The bartenders were good and mixed good drinks. They didnt over charge as some bartenders do.We went for the lingerie contest. My old modeling agent had 6 of his girls entered into the contest. They were all beautiful and it was a great time. Since two of his clients had a table each, my friends and I didnt have to get one. The tables they had were between $1000-$4000. My friends and I danced most of the time so we didnt sit down. The music was great most of the time. They did a variety which included, old and new school hip hop, edm, and latin music.
Sophisticated. Upscale. Remarkable. These are words that accurately describe this club. On entering, I immediately noticed the pool area which was lit both literally and figuratively with a general chill vibe. Inside was upbeat and vibrant with mostly EDM during my visit. We easily got drinks at the bar, and partied the night away with a fun crowd. Dress code was strictly enforced, so go there in style for a good time.
AMAZING. My friends and I came from Wisconsin to see Tiesto here. We ended up running into one of the owners and he was nothing but amazing to us. The vibe at this club is unreal. The pool party was everything I could ever wish for. ALL the bartenders and employees were so unbelievably friendly to us. This is the best club experience I have ever had.
Ive read thru these reviews and was worried of attending the Erotic Ball last night. Glad to say my wife and had a blast. We were treated with the upmost respect walking thru the door til we left. There club is superb and definitely a reminder of Vegas. Drinks were a little pricey but they were strong and good. The best bartenders. We didnt see anyone hassled about their attire. A+ Classy club and well definitely return in the near future. ππππ
Will not be back. We paid $2500 for booth. The security charged each of us $20 for hat, and he charge me illegally $60 because I couldnβt find my Id. 30 seconds after he illegally took my $60 I found my id in my back pocket. He would not give me my money back. I will be filing charges. And complaining to the police about underage activities. Other than that. The djs was lit. The vibe was lit. The servers took care of us and all around we had a good time. But Iβm not letting this ish with security go. Iβm taking to the fullest extent of the law cause yall got me messed up.
Went for the night club, which is a drastically different place than the day club. Better than Pretty Liar and decorum (pour behavior). Its got a better layout with a more focused dance floor and MUCH better acoustic design. The speakers are thankfully better than they need. This is not a walkable club like 77 degrees, its in the same situation as Barbarella, so plan accordingly. The security was perfect, it wasnt over-protective, but they rooted out weeds quickly. Definitely a fun place worth checking out.One thing to remember is to dress elegantly... Even if it is a rap or deep underground techno artist is playing. This is strictly enforced and is part of what makes this place a bit unique... Its clientele and crowd management transcends the artist. Unlike Stereolive where the artist determines who shows up. If you like rap or techno, but dont like rap and techno crowds this is the place for you. It does mean its not the ideal place to fully experience your favorite rap/edm artist in their native environment. But at least its a fun place, unlike Decorum, where the DJs dread every second.About 10% of the dancefloor requires earplugs. Its a big place with high ceilings so the volume drops off quickly with distance. But if you like bass... That 10% is very good. Not as good as Sekais floor shaking bass, but the balance is far better. It is far quieter than the second floor of Bauhaus, where the whole room is earplug level. Its effectively about the same as the new Stereolive system.
Ended up being assualted while not looking by their door security while waiting for my car to be pulled around by their valet. We were not in any physical altercation with them and were leaving as requested, so this was unwarranted, and I will be taking legal action.
My friends and I loved the experience we had at ClΓ©! Tiger Lily was DJing that day & she was amazing. We arrived about 5 PM & everyone was having fun and the drinks were good! We drank Long Island Ice Tea which were about $15 each & took shots. They also serve tacos for about $4 or $8 each if youβre hungry. You can swim in their pool which is a good size pool. The water was crystal clear blue like Miami! You can get a section on the bottom level or top if you like. The session was about $1500, but itβs worth it! Be prepared to dress nice like summer wear or in a swim suit because this place is all about it! They had dancers and a hula hoop girl! This is my type of scene β€οΈ
Saw Borgore here on a Friday night in April. It was a good time! The dress code was casual, thankfully, so didnβt have any issues with that. Definitely recommend looking up the dress code for your event BEFORE you go because they really are strict about that sometimes. The drinks are expensive, but thatβs expected. Itβs honestly a really nice venue with a beautiful staff. This was my first time here, but I think itβd be an awesome day-party spot too.
I had fun! But not until around 12:30, thats really when people started to show up. It is a $20 dollar cover charge though. Cool atmosphere but not alot of space to dance, its mostly for birthday celebrations as they had a lot of rounded couch seats for groups to sit in. It is about $15 dollars per drink, expect to spend here! Other than that I had fun dancing with the lights and smoke machines!
Worst experience ever! A group of friends and myself visited this place for best friend birthday. The valet parking is way too expensive $30 for this place. The valet staff are not friendly. The bartenders are great but everyone else is horrible. My friends and I were standing on the steps that go down to the dance floor area. Mind you there is another group of pretty Caucasian girls standing in the same area across from us on the stairs. The male βbouncerβ told our group that we couldnβt stand on the stairs but not once told the other group of girls to get off the area. The bouncer even told me βMove or Iβll make you move.β He is 3 times the size of me so I didnβt want to argue so we moved. I felt we were discriminated because we were Latin group and LGBT. DO NOT go to this place. The service is terrible.
I would give it a 0 star if I can. Worse place to come. I was on the guest list. I was about 5-6 minutes late and they charged me $100 in the front. Got kicked out due to my card declining at the bar. Not sure what the issue was. I had enough funds. Two Hispanic female bar tenders called security. He escorted me out. As I was waiting for my Uber outside one of the bouncers he was βblackβ told me to move and called me broke a**. He was really trying to fight me for no reason. I was being very chill. He even called the cops on me and they didnβt do anything since I was sober and I was being chill. This place is full of bad customer service. Bouncers are rude & bar tenders are rude as well. They just want your money. Checked my bank account it showed that my transaction went through after all. I still got kicked out though. I contacted one of the managers. Explained what happened. He didnβt even apologized to begin with. He did refund me my money though. I really hope he shows this review to his staff. Because they will know who they are. This incident happened at the pool party yesterday around 4:30pm. But I will never come back here. Poor customer service. Very unprofessional.
UPDATE: THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME BUT THE SAME NARRATIVE APPLIES. This establishment is blatantly racist and surprisingly a lot of minorities come here for the pool parties. They donβt want minorities at this place of business at all. Look at their Instagram. They purposely donβt take pics of all the minorities that attend due to not wanting to attract that type of crowd. There are other clubs with pools in the area that I would be happy to give my money to. I shouldβve paid attention to their Instagram a lot more before stepping foot into this place. How do you have days where the majority of the customers attending are minority but NEVER upload pictures of them. Huge red flag!!! Stop supporting businesses that do not want you there!! How many of their are employees minorities that they donβt even take pictures of??!!
Extremely rude staff at front door. Berated me and my friend in a condescending manner because we walked past him with our IDs out while he was yelling βIDs outβ to people. Thought he was just telling us to get prepared (because there was another checkpoint further in where we did show our tickets/IDs). Bottle girls are rude too when moving through crowds. Yelling, pushing, and just being disgusting to paying customers.Edit on 7.6.23 since clarification was asked for: There was a man yelling IDs out to everyone and he was loitering around the front of the building. My friend and I had our IDs out and walked past him as others were doing too, to which he responded by berating us. He stopped us and looked at our IDs and we were then stopped again to have our IDs checked by other people. It seems that he was on a power trip and chose to target and yell at us even though we were doing as others were. Your business responses to all of these are quite passive aggressive and you seem to withhold apologies even though your customers are what keep your business alive. Terrible, clown-like management.
Do not visit this place, we came out of town for a concert. On their website it was announced doors open at 8 pm, we got there at 7 pm and got in line, at 9:15 bouncers came out to put barricade without talking the people that were standing outside. Then at 9:30 they announce that we would have to get into a new line which cause that most people that had just gotten there to skip to the front and just at 10 pm we were able to go in. Everything got congested and they didnβt even care. Did not talk to anyone and made it clear that they did not wanted to talk to anyone. This is the worst experience Iβve ever had, Iβve been to concerts in clubs in the Houston area and have never had such a bad experience. The only person that was nice to us was Trent with security and he is one that deserves the one star Iβm giving this place.
I have only been twice but loved it both times. Once to see Tiesto and the other time for John Summit. The atmosphere feels upscale and the crowd is great. The prices are definitely worth the atmosphere and helps filter out a lot. Iβll definitely be back in the summer.
Where to start I used to love going there till the staff turned sour . Itβs pretty much wanna be a Vegas pool party I think they forgot they are in Houston. Shame some great djs get booked here to endure a mediocre party I am glad other edm options are opening. Their screens are outdated, visuals not captivating enough, opening locals ainβt setting the vibe right cos I couldnβt wait for the headliner to pop up. Want better fun? Spend your money at stereo they got some nice AC and better drink prices
The Debo want to be manager (flannel shirt) of some sort believes he can intimidate anyone. Iβm certain if he would have looked at who he was responding to with his snide remark beforehand he would have stayed quite. (Look before you speak) As he quickly walked way.Poor Management, improper planning and no regards to paying customers!
So Iβve been reading so many bad reviews, but Iβve been here 3 times in the past couple of months (From Dallas) and every time my experience has been phenomenal.Iβve seen reviews talking about Discrimination Againt Minorities etc and I am one myslef. Never have I felt any kind of discrimination, and this place is super divers! All kinds of ethnicities. Some people complain about not getting let in for dress code, but it does state on the flyer βPool party Attireβ which means obviously donβt wear Jeans or some cloths you would take to the mall, itβs a pool party take pool cloths.Drinks are not the cheapest or most expensive, bars are always kind of full depending on the artist playing, good staff, friendly bartender,Bouncers keep to themselves and never bother you,Music is LOUD AS HELL tho I HIGHLY recommend eat protection, as you could go deaf litteraly. If you stand on the floor derectly infront of the artist.Great place for great vibes and music, drinks, and a splash, Great EDM music artists such asTiΓ«sto,Fisher, vintage culture, meduza, Chris lake, etcI recommend this for anyone that wants to have a good time, like I stated been here 3 times and each has been a good experience so far. Will definitely continue to come.
Worst experience ever! I paid a deposit for a section for a pool party and the event was canceled due to weather. I was told that I would receive a refund and have yet receive one. The event was canceled on 4/8. Itβs been a week. I cannot get in contact with the waitress whose name is Emery and no one in management. This is unacceptable and terrible business to not refund someone for a service they did not receive. Definitely will not visit ClΓ© or any other nightclubs within this group.
Cle used to be my spot. Not anymore. This place is full of rude staff. They need to hire new bouncers. They are the rudest. They also need to treat women with respect!!! But whats management going to do? This place is horrible. No wonder everyone in these reviews say the same thing about the bouncers. They need to go find some help. Ive gone to other bars and clubs where bouncers treat you with respect at least. I dont recommend anyone to visit this club. Especially if youre visiting Houston. I recommend Conejo Malo or the New Standard
The atmosphere in here is great for having fun at night. Thanks to Salim for creating this happy environment and great DJs.
Not the best club to visit in Houston. Donβt recommend. Bouncers are rude. They wonβt let you in. They act like they own the place. They will try to fight you. What kind of club is this. I donβt need management apologizing. You people are terrible. Need some therapy. Treat people with respect!
I went asking the dancers where the black girl went. I really liked her for representing. Plus she was so awesome. My friends and I loved watching her. She put lots of energy into it.Well cle needs to check whoever is in charge of those dancers. I was told she left because of racism and being replaced by girls with a lighter skin tone so the club doesnt come off racist. What kind of bull is that!!?!?! Its just dancing and she was a solid representation for black dancers. Now yall got girls just naked and moving side to side. Wheres the talent? Not coming here again!
On 4/1 at the day party I paid 25.77 for a general admission ticket online and when I got to the door i was over charged an additional $40 that i was told would be refunded....while i was walking into the womens restroom the darkskinned male bouncer standing guard at the womens restroom snatched me up and shoved me for no reason at all and Told me i couldnt use the restroom. The restroom was not closed and if it was he could have said that without putting his hands on me, My other friends stepped in and he let us in only to disrespect us, call me a b**** and threaten to remove us from the bathroom if we did not hurry up. If you want to be manhandled by ugly bouncers with fragile overinflated egos then you should go to Cle. I was super disappointed for my first visit and i cant wait to speak with someone who can rectify this for me.
Reserved VIP table/bottle service for Jack Harlow show. Really cool decor, staff the night of the show was great, and the section was perfect. The disconnect seems to be a management issue. Communication prior to show was not great. I gave a deposit which was actually the total amount I was quoted for the section I reserved. I called to confirm everything a few days before the show and was told my authorization forms hadnβt been received AND they would be raising the minimum for my section (like by A LOT!). I was charged but wasnβt told the price wouldnβt include tax or gratuity so had a hefty balance upon arrival to the show. We had a great time, and as stated before, staff was amazing. Performer only came out for 15 minutes though which hardly justifies the increase I paid for the section. Also was told at one point that I had to allow 10 people from the stage into my section (which I said yes), but again, took away the value of the incredibly high minimum I paid. Cool place, but wonβt waste money on bottle service there again.
Amazing set and staff been going since open in 2016 wonβt stop lol
This place is terrible. The quality of people are absolute garbage and the staff is awful too. My friends and I bought a table and they wouldnt let in half of our party. What is the point of paying for a table if you cant guarantee that your entire party will be able to get in??? huge waste of money.
Horrible place! Yes I know they have good DJβs but for a black bounce to call a beautiful Hispanic female βbroke assβ and tries to fight her outside the club is unacceptable. She even told me he called the cops on her and the cop spoke to her very nice. Walked her into her Uber car made sure she made it inside safe. But my point for him to call the cops on this beautiful young lady. Iβm pretty sure he treats every female the same way. He needs to be fired and find some help. She told me she wasnβt able to get his name. But Iβm sure Cle will find out who he is. Canβt believe cops and cle owners allow this club to treat guest like this. Next time this happened I soo make a police report about this place. All we need is the name of that black guy who treated my home girl very poor and wanted To box her outside of cle. He knows who he is. Short about 5.8ft inches . And still had the audacity to call the cops on her in front of her face!!! Yes please close attention to who he is. He will admit himself . She even said she took a pic of him and thatβs when he called the cops on her when she was sober . She got kicked out on her first drink in. He will know who he is . And hopefully get fired from here. You rasist people!!!! Keep it going !
Most rude staff Iβve ever experienced at a club. Theyβre in a ghetto area in Houston and they want to act like theyβre in Beverly Hills itβs hilarious. Will definitely never come back and will definitely ask my friends to stop coming here. They were all disgusted by the service here. A lot better places to go in Houston.
We had so much fun at ClΓ©! The club is so pretty, I love it! We went on a night that they played like trap/rap type music though (I heard this is only on certain nights). The drinks were great, I danced all night. It was a nice crowd, not too much. I wanted to go again until that incident happened.
Changed their name. Google Cle to find all their horror stories. Real shady owners.
DONT GO HERE! I had rsvp and free admission till 12am. Got there at 11:30 and the fat door girl was trying to charge me and my girlfriend $40. Showed my rsvp to the other staff members and they ignored me plus they were very unprofessional. People that work the door are so broke and desperate theyβll do anything to nickel and dime you.. Trust me itβs plenty other clubs downtown you donβt have to deal with this mess. Not worth the trouble. 0 stars ππΎππΎ
Very nice club - ClΓ©! As we all know if you are taking the time to read this post that clubs can be hit or miss! ClΓ© was definitely a hit IMO! The layout and atmosphere was unique and added to the cachet of the club! I would recommend a section as this club appears to be on the upper end of establishments that I have visited thus far during my short time in Houston! Although a section was not needed on the Saturday night I most recently attended it would be recommended; but with enough liquor in you with the right amount of friends around you can do without lol. You will have a wonderful time! Check it out if this is your thing. For those that are experts here, I am not much of a club goer but had a solid time here!
Not a great environment to hang out. Your just taken advantage of and not shown any respect. Had to pay my parking space and wasnβt allowed in at first. Had a couple of drinks and got kicked out for no reason. I guess my buisness isnβt important to them. I understood the first hiccup but why did they had to kick me out, to make space ?? Honestly this place has gone down hill. I used to come here alot but im going to have to go elsewhere for now on. This should be a zero stars buts minimum is 1 . 0/10 donβt recommend.
Cle used to be nice. Not anymore. Dirty. Gross. Went to pool party recently and it is a far cry from how they used to be. Also there is no public seating anymore? everything has to be reserved? Only option is to sit at the tree. Wont be going back.
Was told Plies would be performing at a Pool Party at your establishment. I feel mislead. If Iβd known that Iβd be going to a pool party to listen to some good jams, with Social Media celebrities & men standing around gocking at women, in the heat..... I wouldβve stayed home or even gone to Galveston for that matter...! Nonetheless, great atmosphere, great venue, beautiful women everywhere.... No Plies & No Plies Concert! How does Cle fix this?
Ive been to this club many times and its always fun. I arrive there early just to chill and relax before the fun begins. Which is usually around 12 and thats ok. Their communication team was really good when I had some weird transactions from the place and they got back to me fast and they were very open about what happened. I didnt have any worry about it. The club is legit. I havent seen any discrimination when I went and the party was really fun. Maybe the old reviews may stick but its not what its is now. So if your in Houston give it a shot.
I am big fan of Cle, yesterday I had bad experience at ID check, I have temporary permit issued DMV, 2 guys at the front still asking me physical id, how bad it is, still they asked me physical ID else I need to pay 40 dollars at the door.I ended up go back to home and bought the passport .I also thought of request refund of my event ticket , was not sure how do I request refund .Please take careEvent : AlessoDate: 05/28/2023
First of all the girls there are super rude and so are the male staff. Second of all the bar lost my friends card at the bar and after the club they shoved everyone out into the rain. This club does not care about the customers one bit. Granted it was a very packed night since Trippie Redd had came but still..there should be some type of training or hospitality. ClΓ¨ wonβt be getting our service ever again until the staff learn how to stop being rude. I was shoved by both male and female workers and all I did was stand there. Some of the female workers were also very territorial over the restroom since I guess that is where their dressing room is. The next time ClΓ¨ hold an event like that be ready for a lot of people and train your staff to act more like a club not a bunch of high school girls.
Turn your music down or I will continuously call the cops on your business and apparently Iβm not the only one the two times Iβve called the dispatch tells me without even asking that there are other complaints and waiting on a unit to go out. There is a complex directly across from you and you know that, if you have no consideration for us that are directly facing you I will have no consideration and make sure you get fined every chance I get meaning every night of the week that you are operating. Itβs that simple turn the music down. What is this a live concert? I can hear all the beat in my unit and lyrics and dj. Turn it down please.
The door staff was very rude and unprofessional. The drinks were good but overpriced. Waited in line for over 30 minutes after they were supposed to start their event. Would not return
I was racially discriminated against at the door and I wasnβt the only black person that didnβt get in. I had on jeans and t shirt. There is no dress code on the site or even anyone to answer the phone.Back to the story. Some fake azz David Goggins looking dude told me and my cousin that we werenβt good enough to get in there.Itβs all good. Next time Iβm in Houston, Iβll be protesting outside the club.
Absolutely would give this a 0 if I could. How dare your staff treat people who are paying your bills. Rude and very unprofessional. I can see why you have low ratings. Arenβt you the same people who got their TABC suspended ? Again donβt care about anyone but yourselves.
Went to see Kaskade and of course he was amazing and the decor was great but the indoor venue was horribly set up in regards to people in the VIP getting bottle service. ClΓ© should really set up their VIP section to more safely receive bottle service without having your staff walk through shoulder to shoulder crowds with lit sparklers and hookahs in hand. I honestly would not recommend attending a concert here. Felt like an accident waiting to happen.
Horrible place to come. I use to come to Cle a lot. I got kicked out for no reason. One of the bouncers tried fighting me outside knowing I was a female he didnβt care. He provoked me for no reason. Cursed me out as I was waiting on my Uber. I even kept my smile. Pretty sure he knows who he is. He even played the victim and called the cops on me and I laughed in front of him. I knew I wasnβt doing anything wrong. So I told him to do so. But management wonβt address it. Cannot believe Cle allows this. Very unprofessional. They need to hire new staff. Starting with the bouncers and bar tenders. After speaking to Dallas not sure if heβs part of management or one of the owners- he didnβt even apologize from his part. Pretty sure that rude bouncer is still working there. Unprofessional. Also, cle steals your money too. I was about 5 minutes late for the guest list and the girl in the front still charged me $100. She didnβt care if it was 4:05pm. There was a long line when I arrived. Donβt recommend anyone to come here. There are so many night and day clubs you can go to. This is not the spot anymore.
Not a good place to go, this is Houston, there are plenty of other options to choose from. Music loud, staff rude and managers/ owners are pathetic. Again, there are other places in this town to spend your hard earned money.
I Recently went to clΓ© and had so much fun!! Are bottles came out super fast, A cocktail waitresses were supervise and did a great job hyping my friends up. The place was very clean! And the Hookah was great! Canβt wait to go again!
Went to ClΓ© for the first time this weekend for a pool party and I have to say i absolutely loved it! The staff was super professional and the club is really beautiful, every where you look thereβs so much to see, from colorful beach balls, to GoGo Dancers, and not to mention they seem to almost always have a special guest DJ. I highly recommend coming to this club.
The worst club ever. We were on public dance area but they asked us to leave because a guy asked the security to move us away from their table. We were not in private area. They pushed me and my face touched the exit door. Can you believe it? A very tall black guy pushed a girl. We were not even drunk. Worst club ever. Zero star. They just care about VIP people. If you are not VIP do not go there. Horrible place.
ClΓ©, what can I say. Itβs a fancy overpriced bar that prides itself on being a faux Vegas or Miami club. Cover fees can be a bit astronomical at times, dress code is strict, and the club itself can feel small when you get inside the dance floor area. Iβm not a club person so Iβm already a bit biased against this place but my experiences there have been about what I expected. Music was alright, drinks were pricey, people were okay, and club cleanliness was better than some other clubs Iβve seen and been to. I give it 3 stars because of how expensive it is, itβs location (next to all the aggressive hobos), and small dance floor area. Iβm sure if I went to their pool days it would be more fun but this is an honest opinion about the regular nights they have.
My friend was drugged here!!!! If you are a woman going here please please please be careful!!!!!
Lol some people say this is a racist club but itβs always full of black peoples when I drive by? Grand lux restaurant is racist ! Lol and Iβm white , but I donβt give AF I take my money somewhere else . I donβt let small minded peoples get to me . If Grand lux wants a self segregated restaurant I could care less because there are better places to eat where everyone is treated with respect regardless of race. Their food suxβs any ways. But itβs open late.π
I tried to reserve a table for a performance at Cle Houston Nightclub tonight, March 18th 2022. I dealt with the promoter, named Shannon, who engaged in highly manipulative and deceptive sales practices in connection with the owners. Basically, they quoted me a price of $2,500 for my confirmed reservation, charged my credit card, then shopped the reservation around to others after it was reserved while threatening me with cancellation unless I came back with a higher competing offer. This place is selling tables under the premise of a reservation and when in reality it is an auction - completely misleading and fraudulent. This incident has been reported to the Federal Trade Commission because if they handle guest reservations this dubiously, I can only imagine what else they do.
40 dollar cover for a club thatβs 10% packed with random trap artists and incredibly unfriendly staff. Also, a bouncer let the some people in through the side entrance for $10 (the exit door with greenery).
I just went to cle to see kaskade. I was so anxious because of the reviews; however, it was a lovely experience. Everyone was very polite from the bouncers to the bartenders. Again, these reviews almost made me not buy tickets to the show. People were definitely dressed up, but they also let people more casual in. However, I came right at open so maybe some of the stuff people are talking about happened later in the night. Shots were $14 and beer $8.
THE WORST STAFF!!!! Very rude and inconsiderate. The girls are rude and only care about the people that are throwing money at them. The bartenders are awful, I kept my tab open and when I went back to close they told me they didnβt have my card and that there was nothing they could do about it. Way better places to go in Houston, donβt waste your time and money.
Great, fun vibe. Clean. Great looking help and clientele. Ive had not problems at all with any doormen. They have a nice secondary room where you can actually go have a conversation and still hear the music. Outside pool is a nice addition. Just wish they had pool parties on Saturdays too.
A lot of bad reviews regarding race are more than misleading. Girlfriend and I, are an average looking, middle class, black and Hispanic couple who had no problem getting in a big event. Yes, they have a strict dress code, so no tennis shoes. Men, were nice jeans, button up and decent dress shoes and youll be fine! This place is very similar to Vegas!!
Very exclusive place, best club in Houston, make sure youre well dressed. Just be polite and get there with 10 extra minutes of your time, & youll get in on nights. Nothing tops this place on Sundays with the pool party, I had a great birthday this week. Very good looking people everywhere .
The vibe was fun and positive.Had a good time but the drinks tasted like they were just sugar water. I couldnt taste any alcohol in them and they were overpriced.
I took a last minute trip to see a concert here, not knowing what to expect (the website is pretty vague), but it turned out to be one awesome place. Although you want to be outside primarily, they have plenty of interior, air-conditioned space too. The main area outside and the pool is a really cool place to hang out, especially for a concert. I will be going back the next time Iβm in Houston.
Do not come early!! Nice vibes when more people comeβ¦ but very rude service at the door, donβt start on time. Some of the bottle people were rude so well not be coming back
Based on the previous reviews, I had very low expectations. The club had a short line (it was raining) and a famous DJ playing that evening. The cover was reasonable and the drink prices were ok. They had free ice cream and beautiful servers. Not bad on a Sunday.
Amazing music & very fancy place. drinks can be a bit pricey, & sections cost a lot, but its well worth the experience. My favorite night here have been Deorro & Kaskade before New Years a couple years ago.
REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PLACE BUT IT WAS A MAJOR WASTE.Service was awful, drinks were ridiculously expensive for what they were. I was there for a POOL PARTY like the pictures and promos show... and at least while I was there there were like 3 people TOPS in the water. People were just there dressed for a pool party that they werent going to use. Typical lame Houston Bar... with Pool... a gimmick no one uses.
They get legitimate negative reviews removed somehow, so the actual rating is probably 1.5 stars. I cant remember my whole review, but long story short is that I bought tickets to an event and drove three hours, then they didnt let me inside because they didnt like my pants. Lets be clear, they were a plain black color. Meanwhile they let some ridiculous looking fruitcake inside who was wearing nothing below the waist but skin tight leopard print leggings. This venue should be banned from any online ticket sale services because it pretends to be an ordinary venue and uses that as a pretext to take your money. Thats obviously fraud.
One of the worst clubs I have ever been to. Not only is the layout weird, but even when you start to enjoy the music the bottle service line and security come pushing through every 5 mins killing the vibes you have attempted to build. This place is all about the image of money and has no authenticity to it whatsoever. Deadmau5 was supposed to play here Dec 30 but even he didnt seem to vibe with the place because his music was absolutely terrible. I will never support this place, please dont waste your money!Edited to say: this places management is petty enough to tell me MY opinion is wrong so its just more of a reason not to even give this establishment a single thought if you truly value your time and money π so screw you ClΓ¨, you can sink for all I care. If I could give you 0 stars I would. Worst club EVER
Upon getting there, we tried to get a drink at the bar outside. All of their taps were not working, and the tiny beer selection that they had was in a fridge that wasnβt even plugged in so the beer was hot. This place is WAY too small to host big name artist. Bottle service happens way too often so you constantly have to make room for the clan of bottle people to come through.Bad vibes all around.
If you can get in this club great, yet I heard the staff inside is just as rude as the outside staff. Beware!! My group and I waited in line like we would at any other club if we needed to, dressed as required. We were not far from back in line and waited an hour before giving up on this place. The bouncers were rude and didnt care who you are or who you already had inside unless you wanted to pay them $$. Honestly, if you are looking for a great night out with friends to drink and hear good music there are so many other nice, fun, friendly clubs to go to. Dont stop here! If I could give them no star I would.!
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I bought a $60 ticket to see Kaskade a month in advance and was denied entry into the club even with my perfectly valid ID. When I asked for a refund, they refused and asked me to leave. The bouncer was rude as hell and this place is an absolute scam. Dont waste your time or money here. If youre looking for a good EDM venue, stick to Stereo Live.
The bouncers at the door are pretty bad. The club is bad because they racial profile the people and dont let you in even if you are well dressed. Even after standing in line for an hour the bouncer or doorman expects you to pay him for you to get into the club.I would recommend you go spend your money some where they treat you better and you get better service.
Never will I ever walk in this club! The manager was very rude and I felt like I was being racially profiled. We were celebrating my brothers 30th birthday and this club ruined it real fast! After giving them so much grief they allowed us to stand at the bar, but instead I went home, I will never spend my money at a place where I dont feel welcomed! Rudeness at its finest!
I went with a group of friends for Halloween the year after last and while we didnt have much trouble getting in, we did have to talk down the cover charge. The club was pretty clean, but the drinks were overpriced and the music was generic. We didnt stay here long.
Thursday Latin night are the best Latin I do get when I go out and its big you wont feel its packed or theres no space like other places love it β€οΈ
Horrible place!!! My husband and I were turned away because of so called dress code. I had on a dress with boots. He had on a dressy sweater and jeans. We asked why ppl coming out were in tshirts and jeans but were still allowed in. Bouncer told us it was politics and the color of our skin. Literally those were his words!! Ridiculous!!!
Very cool place with lots of Vegas energy. My experience was a good one because we got there early. They let us in right away. I liked the fact that they had an area with 20 plus beers on tap and many IPA options. The dance floor was fun and they really go out of their way for bottle service. Maybe not an every weekend spot, but forsure if you are looking for a energetic, fun, vegas type atmosphere then go there.
Pretty cool place, Id read the reviews and it sounded bad. We were a diverse group too, asians, hispanics, and blacks. The bouncers were rough, but the servers and dancers were professional. The music was good, but the bottles are beyond overpriced.
Destiny ( hopefully thats how you spell her name) was amazing. We are not from the area and that was our first time at the club and she was amazing. She made us feel welcomed during the short time we were with her at the entrance. Give this girl a raise.
I would not recommend anyone going to this club. The bouncer picked and chose who he already recognized. There is no dress code or organization. People were getting in with shorts. This club is only like this because there is no competition in the area. I guarantee Cles would get shut down comparing to east coast clubs. Dont get fooled by those cars in that small ass ragedy parking lot! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Waste of time!
We had table reserved for 2 bottle minimum like they requested we said okay but when got to door I wasnt fit for establishment and it seemed like bouncer would let me in if I greased his hand everyone was dressed well because we came from Marc Anthony concert but nope. Oh well we didnt enter and went to other Club so fail on there part Real Talk
I have never seen such a classist, rude and prejudice venue! I paid for parking went over waited line the security was just smooching and letting in people he knew. I waited patiently for half an hour tried talking to him which he blatantly ignored me! We are tourists visiting wanting to have a good time and we werent acknowledge any way shape or form! I understand those on a list goes in as priority but there should also have a line for those not listed. We all got fed up of standing outside so we all left! I would never recommend anyone to this club!
Night out with my husband, from the woodlands and Ubered here. Beautiful club, excellent music. VIP host, Mauricio is on point and checked on us a few times, got us drinks! For the first time here, I became in full party mode real quick! Awesome pic backdrops and drinks were βmade well!β Will be back!
Had a table. Spent $4k. The worst club Ive ever been to, 0 stars. Both the outside and inside staff are rude. It doesnt matter it you have a table or not. The most unorganized, disgusting, cluster. Girls dancing on dirty wet floors with no shoes on. Ill gladly take my Ferrari and business someplace else. Ill never be back again.
I give it a 2 for trying. I understand trying to present an upscale vibe, but there is nothing upscale about waitresses walking around with their butt cheeks hanging out. Felt like a glammed up strip club. The grounds are nice, has a pool and poolside bar. But unless you plan on spending hundreds of dollars, get drunk before coming here. I went to order a Glen Morangie scotch neat and the bartender told me $54 dollars. I told the bartender I can get a bottle of 12 year GM for that price. Trying too hard.
I am shocked. This establishment has a job posting on Indeed, so as always I decided to investigate because I plan on relocating to Texas. Whoever is tasked with replying to negative comments should be absolutely ashamed at their immaturity. Everyone all over the web can view this, you are making your organization look awful. Think before you type.
Disrespectful door and valet staff... if you want a prolonged successful establishment, you need to have a professional staff and decent customer service. If you dont go there bragging about who you are or who you know, you will not get in easily. I know people that work at Cle and im a manager at a VERY POPULAR hotel in Houston, but I will never make a phone call to get in anywhere. Its not necessary for me to pull out out my phone to make a call to spend money in such a distasteful establishment. I will also not refer this place to my guest, visitors, or clients. I would be a waist of their time, I would be embarrased! Good luck
It was a bad experience from the time we walked in until we left! You definitely see the discrimination in that place. I have only dealt with discrimination once in Houstons night life. At this spot that hold you at the door like there is a packed house in there but only 10 people. Then let all kinds of folks with flip flops and shorts in before you and your party who looks amazing and overdressed to be in there. When you try to get a section and managers and hostess ignore you as if youre not trying to spend money with them. It was an overall bad experience and I will never go there again!
Did not let me and my friends in who were 22 and 21 years old and one 19 year old friend. The bouncer tried to let us in for 21+ bands if we venmoed him $100.
Went there to see an EDM concert and the doors to get in did not open until an hour after the stated time on the ticket. Wouldnt be an issue if it wasnt 100 degrees outside, and they didnt offer anyone water. Get into the main area and the management was still setting up the stage and other festivities so the dj was delayed getting on stage (unprofesional imo). Drink prices are higher here than at most other midtown bars. Overall, there are other, better bars/clubs in midtown for you to go and have fun, so I do not recommend this club.
I personally feel as if they treat black people a certain type of way if they THINK you donβt have money.. lolβ¦ Making this a choice last minute I would have definitely opted in to staying home if I knew what was ahead of usβ¦ The process to get in was horrible, They gave my guy a hard time because of his shoes but let 3 others in after him with the same onesβ¦ (They wasnβt black tho so I understood) After paying an additional fee under the table (which was definitely illegal) we was able to get in.. Spent almost 1k at the bar for some watered down drinks, the employees bumping into you trying to get to the party that bought the bottlesβ¦. This is definitely a remake of βDrink Houstonβ to me.. Sad to say we wonβt be back, not because of the employees but because the way we were treated in the beginning.. As a business owner I am big on first impressions and you guys definitely failedβ¦ Anywho Happy NΓ©w Year πIn response to your reply who are THEY!!!! whoever you have running your door and the other race (not African American)β¦ itβs not way off especially when you go down the reviews and see the same issue.. Instead of being defensive Mr or Mrs owner you should talk to your staff and find better means of customer serviceβ¦ The city makes you money donβt hurt your pocketsβ¦Again me plus 5 wonβt be back so Iβm sure my review doesnβt matterβ¦. Lol Yβall be blessed tho π(Thoroughly read before replying and you would have saw who they were)
Pretentious bouncers who arbitrarily decide who can who can enter. Came with a large group of people and they let in everyone except for my husband, who has a beard. Their rule, no beards that night. Those who were let in tried to lobby for his entrance to no avail. All because of a beard. Go down to another club that recognizes religious freedom. To be clear: we all knew where we were going and dressed appropriately. The car, the clothes, the money, none of that was the problem. Just his beard, which he had trimmed the day before just in preparation for a night out. Go to another place and have more fun.
Had to walk past alot of homeless people to get here.Lines was super long. The dumpster right next to it had a bad stench and overflowing.I decided to just turn around and not go.This was on memorial day around 4pm.
I need management to make an official drink menu ASAP, posted online and right in-front of the bars. Me and my friends did a little experiment this past weekend, the bartenders will charge you differently for the same drink if they think you can afford it. Tried with 3 different drinks, all went separately, all dressed different. My casually dressed friend was charged $8 for vodka and red-bull, I was charged $18 cause they could spot my beautiful ring from my fiance. The bartenders are pocketing the difference as tips! I seriously didnt feel like arguing it at the time but heads up everyone.I paid over $60 for the cheap drinks that kept me going in my UT days.
Horrible club everyone frombthe front door to the shity bartenders. The door man needs his ass beat and the bartenders need to be trained on how to make a drink. The manager is a joke.... Honestly the only cool part about the place is the pool which nobody is in. Bottles are so over priced its a 4x mark up. And u need to watch urself guys cause 100 bucks get a underage girl through the door.
Even after cooling off for two days, Im still furious at the mistreatment endured trying to see Adventure Club at this garbage place. If not provably blatantly racist, they are at the very least running a scam, purposely selling more tickets than they ever plan on honoring. One rude bouncer told me that we could not get in, despite having tickets, because they were at capacity WHILE he was letting in other people. Another rude bouncer physically pushed my boyfriend and me aside to make room to park cars who were just arriving, again while they were supposedly at capacity. We left after an hour of waiting and seeing that they had not admitted a single person in the general admission line. We heard later that Adventure Club had threatened to leave and Cle finally let in everyone that had been waiting for hours outside. Obviously they were never at capacity, but were just refusing to honor tickets on, what looked to be, the basis of race.Do not waste your time, energy or money at this place. I certainly never plan to spend a penny here again no matter who is playing and hope to not give this racist place another spare second of thought.
About a year or so ago I went to Cle after reading a lot of bad reviews because the pictures and ambiance looked nice, and I dont want to judge a place totally based on what other people say, as their experience may have been different. I get there, dressed in nice slacks, dress shoes, and a button up shirt. But Im immediately asked when I get to the entrance to stand to the side. I say to myself, ok no biggie, they are probably just letting everyone in a few at a time like a lot of places do. But then, the doorman repeatedly lets in person after person and group after group which were also all non black and mostly female, and greets them with smiles, hugs, and handshakes. But again I tell myself no biggie. He eventually has to let me in, especially since Im the only one waiting and there is no line.I waited there for about 30 minutes, and during that time at least 20 people were let in. It became clear to me what was going on, and I only waited that long in hopes that they would prove me wrong in what I was assuming. But unfortunately they didnt. At that point I had enough and left, probably to the delight of the doorman as it seemed like that was the overall intent. To make me wait until I eventually gave up. I left Cle that night very disappointed, but at no fault of anyone except my own as I read the reviews but did not heed the warning.Fast forward to today. Earlier in the week a friend of mine who is a food critic and writer for the Houston area, invited me to Cle as he was going to be hosting. At first thought I told myself, I dont want to go back there. But then I thought, maybe I should give it another chance. Maybe things are different, maybe Ill have a different experience since this time I actually know and was invited by the host right? Heck, I even told myself, if this experience is better, I may even consider hosting here soon for my business and network of local business owners and creators.I get there, and the entrance is actually roped off. The officer at the entrance says the doorman will be back in a few minutes. There was a few others waiting outside with me also. The doorman comes, and immediately starts letting the others in. When it got to me, he asked who did I work for or was with. I told him my friends name, and he tells me that he has already reached his limit of guest. I told him that I was only one person and I was invited. He responded, there has been at least 10 people that have already come in using his name and were only one person and he has reached his max, you gotta have some girls or something with you or I cant let you in. All the while others are being let in left and right. All non black except one very attractive female. When you are hosting, since when are you only allowed about 10 guest? Or do you mean a certain kind of guest? Thats beyond me.One group of 4 walk up and use my friends name, and they were let right in without questioning. Again non black. I call my friend, and he says that he isnt at his limit and the doorman has been giving many of his guest a hard time. He tries to send someone to let me in, but the establishment would not let him do anything. Im standing there saying to myself you gotta be kidding me that this is happening again. At that point I dont even want to go anymore. Apparently Cle does not want me to spend my money there, and for that reason I wont. I wont get into a rant about race or ask for sympathy. All I can do is spend my money elsewhere as there are several places in Houston where there is a far greater experience to be had. Im simply writing this to inform others of my experience so they can decide for themselves if this is a place they want to visit. Have a nice day.
Been going to cle for years and cycled through many different hosts. Lyth has always had my back at any given time. Ask for him if you need a table or entry.
Do not use their valet. I put Gucci sunglasses in my glove compartment to make sure no one broke my window to get them, and the valet stole them and tried to act like I was losing my mind when I had one drink and called them out before I even put my car in drive. Extremely rude. If you use them make sure everything is locked away. Extremely untrustworthy people.
My girlfriend and I had an AMAZING time at Cleβ last night. We didnβt have to wait to get in, the cover charge was only $10 each, and there were tons of people! The pool area is awesome and the dance floor was lit. Great music, vibes, etc. The drinks are a little expensive, but I expected that going in. Overall highly recommend this club!
Would let a fella in because he was BLIND. Not because he didnt follow the dress code, not because he was being rude or unruly, but because he has a disability. Police stood nearby and didnt do anything about it either. This club is NOT safe, and gets away with discrimination. Give your money to a club that has the decency to treat disabled people like people, not nasty club ClΓ©.
I paid the $60 entrance fee walked into the club and literally got kicked out 30 mins later. The bouncer confused me with a different black guy who was acting belligerent. I tried getting back in, but was not allowed. I was truly disappointed.
I was discriminated against due to my incurable illness. I was told I wouldnt be allowed in because I didnt have heels, but yet my feet can hardly ever physically fit in any of my heels anymore.I tried explaining I cannot wear heels and tried explaining why and I was scoffed at and then ignored. Asked several times to speak to a manager. My illness is progressive and I just wanted to have fun since I can rarely ever do that as my illness worsens.
It takes forever to get in, even if youve purchased a table. Be ready to fork out tons of money for a sub par experience. The staff isnt that friendly, and the door guy is extremely selective on who he wants to let in. Youll get frustrated here quickly.
DO NOT COME HERE. literally the worst service I have ever experienced. Not only does this club keep you waiting ( in the rain ) for absolutely no reason, but after waiting their bouncer in the front says if youre not in their already then youre not getting in.To top that off pay 20$ for parking and when you request a refund since its the CLE Parking and you never even stepped foot in CLE the owner fatty will only give you half. This place is quickly becoming the talk of the town for being and absolute worst excuse of an night club in Houston.People waiting in line that had family inside that bought bottle service were turned at the door. Who does that?! This club thinks its making a presence for it self when all its doing is tarnishing the Houston night life.
Had soooo much fun!! This place made my trip to Houston so much fun. If youβre salty about anything at this club you probably just donβt know how to have fun. Thanks to everyone at ClΓ©. The service was π₯and the music was great!!
Upscale place. Their staffs attitude arenβt that great. Very expensive. There are better clubs in Houston. Not sure why they think Houston needs a Vegas priced night club. But I suggest not coming here.
Drove 6 hours from Arkansas to Louisiana & Paid money for a ticket online for a concert, that the security guards would not let us in, paying price at door was 80 only if u made it that fair, they picked and choosed who they let enter the club and the staff outside was EXTREMELY rude. I was treated unfair and i was scammed out of money.
Guys this is the worst club in the world. I was trying to record the video at the right stairs, but security pushed me down to the dancing area, I came back and told him I need only a few seconds, because I donβt see the DJ, and after that he started to push me outside the club. I was asking him about 15 times why are you doing this, and he didnβt say nothing, and keep pushing me, and I FELL AND SPRAINED FOOT. He pushed me outside to the main entrance and just left without any explanation. It was two sheriffs at the main entrance which saw that and they didnβt do anything. I started to ask one of them, his name W. Bible, what happened, I didnβt do anything bad, why I got kicked out, he said he doesnβt know and I canβt comeback inside, and he also said I can speak with a manager. I was asking him for the manager and then he said no manager anymore, I must leave. And his coworker, sheriff too, handcuffed me, and said you have to leave or you will go to the jail. Of course I agreed to go home. NOW I HAVE A SWOLLEN LEG WITH A BRUISE AND I CANβT STAND ON IT. Guys donβt waste your time, your money your nerves and you health in this terrible place.
Cle, what a disappointment!Went with a friend from abroad and my girlfriend, we planned to have good party night at Cle, after we were invited by a close friend of ours, although we paid for the Vallet, my friend and I were denied entrance, while the bouncer offers to let my girlfriend get inside. He didnt even care we paid for Vallet and waited in line, he just said Take your money back, I dont careWhat a bad a experience, Ill never go back there again.
Extremely racist. We could not get in until my friend who is a coach for the Broncos came to get us. Avoid this place at all cost! Spend your money somewhere that itβs appreicated! Iβm from Vegas and although the decor and vibe here is somewhat similar save your coins and just Go to Las Vegas! I promise my city wonβt disappoint you!
This place is nice inside and looks elegant. Unfortunately, it is other level overpriced and they will never let you in if you are not on the heels or dressed up. They barely let me in when I was in the jeens with fancy top. For the guys to get in is even harder
First of all I will start off by saying I go to Vegas every year and always go to different clubs. This wanna be Vegas club is trash. The day I went they didnt even have someone famous, just some rich guy that has Instagram followers a nobody. We were willing to pay at the door, and they obviously do not want money because they said you have to buy the tickets online. Haha I thought they must not want to make money. I went on a Sunday and it looked dead with plenty of parking. What a wack want to be exclusive club that will never be as big as they want to be. Beware of their false advertisement on Instagram because that pool they have look like its meant to be a kiddy pool. Never again will I waste my time in this club that will never be apar a Vegas Club. Talk about the worst bouncers. So thank the bouncers for throwing away money you could have made off of us!
I was there for the Alex Sensation event on 12/14. Apparently alot of the folks that go to this club are racist I have never experienced this in a club so full blown racism been to mega clubs around the country this must be one of the worst as for the attendees that go there and if alex was not going to dj there that night. I would doubt spanish people will get in read reviews I AM NOT MAKING THIS STUFF UP. I am not saying the club is not nice yes it is but unfortunately its a one star. FYI management alex sensation is spanish Columbian.
Terrible venue, extremely racist door policies. Wont let in blacks, Asians or Hispanics without any major rhyme or reason, aside from the color of their skin. The crazy part is, the owner(s) are from the Middle East, and their families moved here to escape this exact behavior. Guess thats all forgotten when you can pass the disrespect on to someone else.
Rude bouncers and staff, $750 for a table, are you kidding me? This is not Vegas or Miami.... Overrated club, many better options. I saw many people be discriminated at the door, poor experience and customer service.
Came to houston from Florida on vacation and all the reviews are bad. Which people saying they dont let blacks or hispanics in. Im hispanic and my sister as well as her husband. We went in no problem. So not sure why the bad reviews. I had a blast. Overcrowded but it was fun.
We were there two weeks ago, the 13th.I didnt get to thank the two gentlemen for standing up for me when a guy shoved my arm on the dance floor, for putting it between my friends head & this big guys elbow when he shoved her hard into the crowd & kept hitting her in the head with his elbow, while passing by us.Secondly, Im only giving Cle two stars because when we returned, for our 2nd visit, last weekend, our group couldnt get in because theyd only let the ladies in & we werent going to leave the guys outside. Although, they let entire groups of guys in afterwards, who didnt even have a table. The bouncers let ppl name drop to skip everyone in line & left the rest of us unknowns to stand outside for over 30 minutes.
I really wish they would be closed down permanently. This place is so disrespectful to the people that live in the vicinity. The music is so loud that you can feel the vibrations. Its ridiculous...talk about a nuisance! They have been told several times to reduce their volume by police, yet they continue with their ridiculous music.
Been there once and had a good time together with friends. However, not impressed when I discovered that ClΓ© had been charging my credit card multiple times with same amount for almost two months. Check your credit cards for fraud.
SHADY AND SKETCHY from even before you walk in. The Valet conmen flat out lie to you to scam you out of a few bucks to barely move your car 2 feet. The doormen try to con you out of money in the line , which barely had a few people in it. This place sounds and smells awful and is rife with utter douchebaggery . Upscale ? Yeah right , the place is crawling with literal and figurative cockroaches both inside and outside of the club. Careful not to get shanked in or anywhere around this place . Boycott this garbage until its closed .
Love the atmosphere & team here. Ive been coming a long time & respect the quality of the artists the Cle Group brings - legendary summer Pool parties.
Outrageously expensive ($40 hookah and ($28 for two shots), bad vibes, and most importantly - THE DRESS CODE IS A JOKE. I wore a dress and heels for fear of being turned away at the door only to see bounds of women in sneakers. What a fascist way to trick people into destroying their feet. Will not ever return.
Love going here! Itβs always fun & if I canβt make it out, I always watch the stories on Instagram and they make me feel like I really am there!!! The social media for this place is the top of the line & the photos are ALWAYS dope! This place is really a KEY TO A GREAT TIME!! :)
Will Will Will Oh God the most rudest meanest human being Ever. I understand the club owners dont want to let everyone unless they buying table, its business yes but they that Will guy doesnt have to be rude and mean to people. It was painful to watch how he would switch from being mean to those he doesnt know to nice to those who shower him with little hugs and kisses. I Counted 4 black people getting in the rest were persians/arabs and whites. Its not s big deal really, clubs come and Go....CLE will be history too for theres a time for everything. Will that door post is the only thing that makes you feel like a god, but youre nothing than a pathetic guy. It doesnt cost a thing to be respectful to people.
This place is not a good place. Stood there for a minute just observing. All minorities were waiting outside. I personally saw Caucasian girls get in and with no problem. Yet me a Hispanic couldnt get it in with all girls. Minus 10. Get with the system jackasses.
I had an absolute fabulous time at ClΓ©! The owner and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The vibe was incredible, and I will definitely be back! 5/5
The worst experience ever. The bouncers are rude and discriminate you if you arent white. Thats how it felt waited in line while all there other groups that showed up later then us kept getting in because they new the bouncers. Its a waste of your money. Id rather get some respect then waste my money here.
People here think itβs upscale and classy. LMAO. Try traveling more. Houston doesnβt do the elitist thing properly, and I must say, Iβve been to some real exclusive clubs around the world and they felt more diverse than this trash place in the middle of the most diverse city in the United States. There is no reason I should see more people of color at the Nikki Beach in St. Tropez, a place with very few minorities, than at this club in the middle of Houston for Christ sake. Hahaha.
Probably the coolest nightclub in Houston as far as venue is concerned. Its huge and packed so drinks can take a while. Do yourself a favor and just buy a bottle (or a few) and get a private section.
New Channel 11 article about the owners and bouncer being racist and my friends actually experienced this. Big reason why I will not step foot in this place.Clubs are like high school anyways, four years and there gone.
This place is terrible, I have never see a place like this before.Since I am acostume to be treated wherever I go well and with respect but this time was not the same starting with the hassles in the valet parking and finishing with the bartenders. They think they are the best club but they are just scam, in this years I think places like this should not exist, where racist and bad service to others happens.
Dont let the negative reviews fool you. This is a high-end establishment and with the environment comes the difficulty of maintaining their status. Sometimes that may mean some exclusion, but that is simply a necessary evil to ensure the rapport and popularity are maintained.
Overcrowded. Should callThe fire Marshall. Ppl are rude push through the club without saying excuse me. I hate being pushed and shoved by strangers. This isnβt the norm for most clubs in Houston. The waiters push out the way; the cleaners push you out the way; as well as the bouncers. Pushing instigates fighting and there were plenty of time a person or two could have gotten handle. Not a sophisticated group of ppl.
Negative stars if I could!!! Got a section but couldnβt order drinks or a bottle??? Asked 3 different people and no bottle or drinks???? Girllll do ~NOT~ come here!!!!
By far the best nightclub Houston has seen in a while. The crowd is top notch and super classy. Gorgeous staff and venue cant wait to go back!
Building a reputation to be one of the worst clubs in all of Houston, due to the terrible service from the arrogant and narcissistic staff with bad attitudes, fluctuating drink prices and overpriced bottle services for mediocre at best type of nightlife setting. If given another chance, I would not be caught dead here bc I wouldnt want my image being tarnished by being spotted here again. I would rather drop my Gs in Vegas.
I felt discriminated at the entrance before saying anything the guy tells me if you dont have a section you cant get in. Uhh ok, I tell him my friend has a section and I was invited then tells me I cant get in because of my shoes are sneakers (right after lets in two other ppl with old raggedy vans on) then tells me for 100$ he can let me slide. I told him to fu** off
A joke. Walked over yesterday evening. Heard it was a nice club, but a pain in the ass to deal with, gave it a shot anyway. Live a few blocks away. Asked for a table, the black door guard, let me repeat door guard , to a club, congrats your family must be very impressed, told me he is full no room, obvious lie. I was with 4 girls. Ubered to Iah, had plane hours so flew into mcCarran. Now on runway back as a write this. Step your game up clay or cle as you would like to be pronounced. I give you another year tops. Be more welcome to people or atleast deny them with respect, and for god sakes fire your doorman. I could have tossed him to the side like a little kid. Remember your pontential clients are your lifeblood. Keep it up if you want to be another 1 hit wonder. I hope this provides some input. ThanksTony
Racist,Ignorant and stupid to just let people not come in.They literally loss at over $7000 business at the door from people who can afford.I am sure the black slim retard bouncer has a short life to live as some one will get to him that is the height this guy is pissing people off.Honestly we gave our business to place that appreciated and That for sure is not Cleπ.You want America to be great again close this place.Glad I wasnt in this dump filled with stupid ignorant dumb retards.Rot in Hell All of you.Peace.
The club in general is okay. I didnt like the music at all. If you like latino and hip pop this is not the spot to go to. Prices are ridiculous expensive. I wouldnt waste my time and money on this place.
This is one of the most upscale and posh nightclubs in Houston. Getting in is a bit of an ordeal compared to most of Houstons Midtown establishments, but compared to most its worth the wait and cover charge.
People need to realize that in order for a club to last and be successful, the bouncers have to keep out people that look like trouble, hood, ghetto, whatever you want to call it... But look at the pictures on the site, I see whites, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc... If you know this place is upscale, show up looking your best, dont go to the door with an attitude, take your best looking friends lol... Do what you gotta do... But this is why drink Houston died, the club had a dress code, no tattoos, no white tees, etc, that all changed and they started letting in everyone and the young ghetto crowd took over pushing all the rest out, no one wants to come to a club with a bunch of hood rats.... Club ended up closing down... I went two months before the close and you can tell the difference, I told my girl this place is ghetto and empty now... 2 months later it shuts down.... Dress code and good bouncers is how you keep a good club going.... Not hard to look good.... Cmon son!
Its alright. Im not one for overly crowded clubs and Cle sure was crowded. Hey there early if you need to find a place to sit. Cocktails were good.
I believe the staff here are under instructions not to let in people of certain race, unless of course you know someone or bought a table. All the while specific race are selected out of all parts of the line to enter while the rest of us PAID TICKET HOLDERS have to wait outside for hours just to be denied entry... Dont believe this? Do a little digging
Over rated over priced. This place has rude staff. If you looking for a good EDM scene with the right vibes Stereo Live is the place.
Bad service ever in town. The door guy is very rude. They told us we need to pay tickets for their special event, they said we can either pay at the door or on website. We just paid on website and another door guy came out told us that they only take table reservation and the only table they left is 3,000 dollars minimum. They told us to pay the tickets without mention table reservations. They said the tickets are not refundable and they told us to find another bar. Very bad attitude. Horrible experience!!!!!!
Seems that if you are a member of the KKK or Aryan nation you Can get in, otherwise youre screwed. Reviews such as that idiot David are so stupid I laughed for an hour. Yes, if you want to pretend you are important - go to this dumpster
Cle makes an honorable attempt to bring Miami-style nightlife into Houstons downtown. And Cle does an excelent job at importing Miamis high cover and drink prices, while forgetting Miamis excellent music selection, doing quality, and lights.
They host an event tht clearly says it ends at 330am but yet they want to kick ppl out before 3 and say no one is no longer allowed. I heard bad things originally but now Iβve witnessed it in person. Save yourself the trouble and not even waste your time with these people.
Wow this definitely helps. I was excited about reserving for my birthday here. I would hate for my party to be denied because we are brown. Thank you guys. I will go where my money is appreciated
This place is bogus. I felt as they were racists. They will only let white People in. The bouncer told my friends and I it was at full capacity, but yet they are letting white people in with no questions asked.I felt so discriminated.
Haha Ive never bothered with these uppity clubs. And its sad others try to get in and dont. The reviews are sad and im pretty sure if I tried this club i too would be dissapointed. I just want to make sure I add to the negative reviews with one star as it deserves
Not professionally run. Need to make changes.
Immediately at the door 20 then 40 to get in didnt have change for $50 bill then boom forgot to give me my $10 back π
Donβt go unless you have a section booked or else youβll be standing all night and wonβt even be able to dance since there isnβt a dance floor. Iβd say spire is better
This place is terrible. buying a general admission ticket, does not guarantee entry. I waited in line for 2 hours. The owner went through the line and picked groups of white Girls and sometimes white guys and let them come in. If you are a minority you will not get in unless you have a table.
You could be dying from thirst and they still wouldnt give you water without charging you first. It shows the culture starting from the owners to management.
The door guy Colby is a tool. He tells customers that want to come in they need to buy a bottle or be on the guest list to get in while letting his friends in.
Great vibes & beautiful staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves dance music in Houston.
I parked in self parking. Was very much unaware that they closed early. I canβt get my car!!! I wish there was a sign that said they closed early!!
If you want a Vegas style club in the middle of Houston the be walking distance from its site after hours club, spire, this is your place to be. Be prepared to spend money.
This club/establishment is RACIST. Only βpretty elite white peopleβ are allowed in. THE VALET WILL STEAL FROM YOUR CAR. This place is literally so racist, itβs ridiculous. It needs to be shut down.
Rudest people ever that work at this place. If you want to get overcharged for bad customer service, this is your spot!
It was kool until the guy at the bar took it upon himself to give himself a 10 dollar tip monitor your credit card and check your account to ensure they charge the right price...
I got robbed here last week. Manager was supposed to call me for police report but he never did. Police officer told me that this things happen here almost every night. unsafe and dangerous to hang out.
Horrible experience, booked a table and when we got there they changed their mind on us. If u wana have fun dont go there take ur business to another club in houston.
Used to be an iconic night if you went to cle, now just boring with terrible music and has weird people. sunday fundays are just gross now
Terrible they said since we did not have reservation we could not go in but met people in the parking lot and it was a group of 3 girls and they let them in! Terrible!!! All the reviews are right I decided to try it and left disappointed
Would give 0 stars if I could. This club likes to break federal and state ADA law. Discriminates against people with disabilities at the door.
Worst club ever. Theres no line to get it. You basically just stand around the entry and they pick who they want to let in. They are extremely racist if your a minority find somewhere else to go.
No social distancing, still providing drinks and acting as a bar during a global pandemic. The owners are concerned with making money and not concerned for any persons safety.
Who ever owns this place should be shot at dawn I had 3 sections here booked and Tony turned us away because one of our guys had on shorts I will never come here again this isnt Vegas and if it were they would be kissing my ass till I got to my sections Ill keep my $10,000 in my pocket
Extremely racist if u dont know the door guy. Lets in peoplw he only knows... you have to have bottle service or know them if you want to get in. Youre better spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
Someone should llik the bouncer then. The world is full of messed up people good sit back and do nothing. While bad people keep hurting. I guess itβs time for the bad to get hurt.
Much like others have experienced the door man Will is racist. He picks and chooses who to let in, dont waste your time coming here.
I inserted a $10 bill in the cigarette machine and the machine read it as a $5 bill. I complained with the staff and they laught at my face and said that it was not their problem.
Very nice pool party, like the place, hope customer service will get better! Will be back.
The most sophisticated night club in Houston: famous DJs, glamorous swimming pool surrounding area, palm trees, and red carpet, of course.
Its ok, a poor imitation of the Vegas or Miami clubs. If your a minority, you better have bottle service if you wanna get in though.
Saw an employee harassing a lady and when she rejected his advances. He called over his gorilla to throw her out. This is why I dont go to places like this.
Too sad that I want to go soooo badly to ATB concert but I wouldnt take the risk of bouncers dont let me in...Horrible place according to reviews..
How can you have a pool but cant bring in a bag with a change of clothes or towels?? Once inside noticed several people with bagsπππ€·πΎββοΈπ€
No one inside the club yet the bouncers wont let anyone in causing a huge line for no apparent reason. Drinks are way too expensive for what you get.
You guys turned a Perrys Steak House into a Popeyes chicken. π€£π€£π€£
I would never set foot as a paying customer,...Had a Photoshoot there in the day time, practically tripped over the Homeless people that surround the Club. Lipstick πOn a Pig π·
Literally me and a bunch of people are standing outside and we are all from out of town, the place is closed or shut down. None of the promoters are answering. Major fail
