Last weekend I had a private party in the Backroom for my 50th Birthday. We had a great time. The event coordinator Adrian is awesome. He was very easy to reach and communicate with throughout my entire planning process. The bartenders for our event were excellent!! Cute space with our own balcony area in back. They didnt make us pay them a million dollars like most bars in KC ask for. I only had to put down a deposit and then my party group had to reach a minimum dollar spent in the alloted time. We did that no problem. So no big bill to deal with at the end of a party. Nothing to say about the food- Its just average bar food, but that worked just fine for us. We were more focused on the social gathering and celebrating and the drinks of course! 😀 Thank you all at The Levee for accommodating our large group so I could have a fabulous party! And An Absolutely Fabulous party it was!! 🥳🍻🎂

This is a house which has been converted into a club. On Thursdays it has drinks being served at $1. The entry fee on Thursdays is $5 before 11pm & $10 after 11pm It is open until 3 am.

OMG this place was amazing!!! 3 different dance floors with 3 different types of music. The mosh pit was pretty cool. People quickly picked up any fallen moshers. Everyone was dancing like nobody was watching. Emokc was playing and it definitely made my inner teen very happy.

Invited by a friend to go after I hadnt been in almost 30 years and had fun dancing. First friday of the month from 5pm to 8pm.Will definitely order a Burger next time. They look wonderful.

I used to love this place and would always make it a stop whenever I was in KC to visit friends and family. The music is great and the environment was usually very enjoyable.Unfortunately we will not return to this establishment. One of the bartenders was extremely unprofessional and rude to us. Maybe she was having a bad day, but nonetheless she was very rude. Later that night we witnessed her shove a guy, and then had security kick him and his group out. Not sure what the discussion was, but we did see her shove him out of the way.The only reason I didn’t leave a one star review is because, historically this place has been a very enjoyable bar, but I didn’t think we will not be returning after our last experience.

My fav club to go without a doubt. 3 different floors and 3 different vibes. I swear the body guards hype me up even. Good energy all around people and great music. 10/10

Had a great time Kat the kj and the bartender was awesome got to sing karaoke and I loved the layout of the venue it was like going into different rooms with new adventure.The deck off the Karaoke room was so electric with the decor and layout relaxing .I will definitely be returning.So many people with exceptional talent.loved everything about it

Overall the Music experience is great! They have amazing Dj’s and the drinks are always good. Unfortunately one of the times I came here I was on the dance floor with my friends and one of the bartenders shoved me really hard. I turned around and just said excuse me, she/he they/them turned around and said you were in the way, I replied you could have said excuse me. She walked off, two minutes later security walked up to me and says the bartender told us you shoved her, I explained I didn’t and even other people that were there explained that I didn’t. They did not care and threw me out. It’s the entitlement and lies for me to be honest. But hey, if they want to continue to treat patrons like this, they will continue to get bad reviews.

The kj Kat was amazingly awesome I had so much fun and will definitely do it again the next time I am in town .The layout of the place was unique like going from one room to the other was definitely a pleasure

Extremely homophobic and disturbing staff. I came in a few nights ago on 3/17 when my friend who is a gay man was ripped off the dance floor shoved against the wall then kicked out. When I continuously asked security what happened he said its between me and him I was with my friend the entire time and not once did he do anything wrong. The security clearly just had an issue with the way he was dancing. I encourage this establishment to take a look into who they are hiring because having a blatantly homophobic and unwelcoming business is not a good look.

I am from Arkansas and have an Arkansas drivers license. They told me that my ID was fake and ruined the front of it. I now have to go back to Arkansas to get a new driver license since they ruined the one I have. If you are from out of state please just stay away. The security guards were also joking about violating my two guy friends which is not okay, and made them very uncomfortable. I really do not recommend.

Came out to the levee to celebrate beating cancer. Big macho man security guy said I couldn’t come in because I was “too drunk”. I was laughing with friends in line waiting to come in. Absolutely did nothing wrong. He let all my friends in but me, singled me out to be petty. Completely singled me out. He just felt like being a tough guy. Don’t go to this place. Management is piss poor. I don’t care how many phone calls I need to make, this guy is going to lose his job. Completely ruined our night.

First visit to The Levee. Went for a private birthday party.I was really disappointed in The Levee. The party room was without heat. So we spent the 2.5 hours of celebration in our coats. It was really hard to enjoy the food when it was freezing inside.Cool vibe. Neat atmosphere. But that massive oversight on a private party, to not have some kind of heat in that back bar was unacceptable. Especially when they have an employee back there. Good thing I dressed for the elements outside, because they were needed for being in the bar. Really wish I had worn a hat, as I feel like Im hungover sick and had nothing but a Red Bull and a Coke.Guess its a good enough place to get drunk in, just dont expect them to put a whole lot of thought into your comfort. They will literally let you freeze.

College kids and young adults ....love to party and no issues ever when we go ... its always a movie when we go... never had food there tho lol

Always an awesome time at the Levee! Thursday Dollar nights are the best in the city and the weekends are always poppin with reasonably priced drinks and so many rooms with different vibes! Love how anyone can come here and have a good time wether you like edm or hip hop! The manager with the square glasses I think his name is Chad is always super nice and welcoming! DJ sync is always killing it!!! Bartenders are always super kind and fun and pour really good shots and bombs! Love the extra spice and work that’s been out into this place since reopening from covid! Definitely a KC staple for years to come ✌🏽🥂❤️‍🔥

This is one of my favorite bars in Kansas city! They always have great live music and a great bunch! They just redid their upstairs deck which is perfect for drinking some of their delicious cocktails by a fire. They also have multiple spaces for large parties. Ive always have had a blast at the Levee.

I was denied access because I’m a man and had a shoulder bag. Anyone that is allied or in the LGBTQ+ community may feel unsafe here. I’ve entered the club with the same bag and have spent plenty of money here. Safe to say I will never ever be back. I am very disappointed that this is a place I used to speak highly of.

Was cool seeing different areas inside. Had a band that was very good and staff was friendly!

10/13/23 We hadnt been out for a while so my wife and I decided to revisit a joint we always went to years back. We assumed they still had old school cover bands and matured over 30 plus patrons. The Friday we were there, the crowd like unded 25, and now they added several mini clubs inside. Everyone was classy tho Id say so we enjoyed the band down stairs and had some nice drinks. If youre under 25 this is for you. The place is still well maintained the DJS seemed to rock the crowds so I think we were just out of place. 40+ reviewer

Great bar to go if you want a variety in music! Not to mention they have the best dollar night in town. Staff was definitely friendly even though they have to deal with drunk and obnoxious college kids. Joel is definitely a cool guy 👍🏾

It was crazy busy and its in downtown KC. I wont go again but for those thirty and younger, its a magnet.

-7 outside and we had walked from another club and they wouldn’t let us inside because our *only* sober person was “too drunk” to enter. he was shaking immensely from being so cold and they said he was drunk. we had to walk 10 minutes back to FH and my friends were in tears and having panic attacks from how cold they were. ridiculous.

Great bartenders, the coolest place around.A Spot for everyone in this multi-level bar. Great music and DJ cover charge was suprisingly reasonable for how cool this place is.

My friend was denied enterance for wearing the same fanny pack as a girl entering at the same time. He is gay, this is homophobic and detestable to see from a bar that tries to ally with the LGBTQIA+ community. The bouncer said “why is a guy wearing a woman’s bag.” It’s scary to see that people like this are hired at Levee.

We were there for a private event but the band was bumpn when we came in at 630 on a Friday night and another one was setting up when we left. Oh and the bartender for the event remembered my last name when I went to cash out.

A relatively nice place, the hires they have at security need to be trained properly. no sort of professionalism just some juice heads with radios that were given some type of authority and blatantly abuse it. I had an encounter where they asked me to leave and i gladly excused myself out of the building but as Im on my way out a couple of the “security” guards felt he needed to show he had some authority and put his hands on me, i told him i didnt need anyone touching me and that i was on my way out, he didnt like being told what he could and couldnt do and took a very aggressive tone. The situation escalated, but then was resolved by a much calmer guard that realized what was going on. i understand being brief and checking people when they are in the wrong but to use force on someone who is showing themselves out and only doing so because their egos were tested is a huge liability for the bar. i hope whoever is in charge of security, takes a good look at who they have hired and can be certain that these are levelheaded responsible people.

Lots of people having a great time !A good venue for a family and friends gathering in the back . Dont look for a perfectly painted interior.

We had a surprise party for some friends and this place was a great choice. A private room, but we could still enjoy the live band downstairs. Bartender was great.

One of the coolest bars I’ve ever been too. There is at least 5 different rooms which all have their own bar and each room is a different environment. One had live band, the other was a dance room, then there was a couple outside patios, and some chill areas for talking! Lots of older people like 28 years old or older, but still a really fun environment.

I was very impressed . They have a promotion going on Martinis and you get a free manicure.

Getting in makes it feel super sketchy but once youre in its a blast!

We had a great time dancing, listening to the live music and drinking some ice cold beer. Nicole the waitress was incredible. Definitely will have to do it again.

Cover is $10.00This was our 2nd stop of the night the line was wrapped around the block the favoritism and discrimination was prevalent, I didnt appreciate it at all. I dont know who owns this establishment I wont be coming back. the body guards were black, They were keeping things in order though so I did appreciate that. Missouri is a different vibe at this establishment I love that they have a multitude of rooms to where you can enjoy different vibes for each person. The drink prices are reasonable cranberry and vodka $6 $0 for water. The bartender hated her life she shouldnt work there. THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN!!!

Went on a Monday night, so it was definitely slow. But even so, I could clearly see the potential for the weekends. They have live music three nights a week, Thursday through Saturday.The service was great as well. We also ate the loaded fries and I definitely would recommend them. Prices were solid, too!Well be back this weekend for the music and crowd. Definitely a nice dive bar that is way bigger than it looks from the outside!

Enjoyed the bars atmosphere but was terribly disappointed to find the Levees managment jumps at the chance to have a vehicle towed from their parking lot. We looked for signs and failed to find anything saying no parking after hours. The towing company says the levee calls every weekend at closing to have vehicles towed...so if you plan on being safe and not driving just know it will cost you $180.00 happy new year!

One of the better bars in kc for college aged people. Cover was $5 and drinks were on par with what the average bar cost. Always packed but later on a sketchier crowd starts to come around so be aware of your surroundings in the area.

The bands are great and we had an amazing time dancing!! Food was delish too. Too bad it was ruined. I think the welcome committee could use a ton of work learning emotional intelligence, training on how to talk to people (esp women), and how to keep your hands off a women when she says no. I can’t wait to never step foot in that bar again after my horrific experience.

Really nice, cool, chill place to be at. Its a really nice vibe and atmosphere in general no expectations on how to dress either however after 11:00 p.m. there is a cover charge of 10 or $20 at the door per person.

Ive been to the Levee before and enjoyed it. But I went with some friends last weekend and we paid a $5 cover to get in. It was wall to wall people, and most people were trashed already and it was only 11 pm. The floors were disgusting and every single table was sticky. We decided to go somewhere else mostly because of the crowd, and Covid is still a concern. The bouncer knew we hadnt been there long, so we asked if we could have our money back since we were only there for 5 minutes. He laughed at me and said no and was very rude about it. Will not be back.

Good pricing, multiple areas, small dance floor with live music down stairs on weekends and another dance floor up the stairs with a DJ. Always crowded but to be expected. Upstairs has a pool table and darts. Enjoy my time every time I end up here.

If you like live music, this is one of many great places in KC!I am usually at this place as the hired sound engineer for some of KCs best local bands and I really like this venue.The sound setup used to be not so good but after everyone complained it got tremendously better. The place is almost always packed with people out to have a great time. Their food is your typical bar food and I give it 4 stars as it has never let me down!Im pretty sure they are recently now under new management and the gentleman I talked to seems to have only the best interest for this venue and its patrons. It makes me glad that the new management cares about this place because there is so much musical history here, it would be a total disservice if it ever changed from live local music or closed.

Heads up! Cover charge on the weekends and it is worth every penny.Ive only ever had wings here and have never been disappointed, I really come here to drink and dance to all the hits of days past.The staff is always upbeat, helpful and I have never had to ask for another shot in my cocktail, it can get crowded during the weekends but not any worse than the rest of Westport, one thing for sure is big band night is amazing!We always come with a good size group so it is easier to stake out out own section downstairs and we always have a great time.I always have and always will recommend this spot for weekend nights you just wanna let your hair down and maybe do a little dancing.

Fun place. Great live music on weekends and several different rooms for a change of scenery. Would have been 5 star but the pizza was pretty bland and no flavor.

This place is a hidden GEM! I think it may be my favorite place in KC. Definitely has a home town feel and a comfortable local atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the staff were top notch. Super friendly and didnt miss a beat. We will definitely be going again the next time were in KC.

We love going here for an extended evening of fun with friends when a band we enjoy watching is playing here. The place is easy to find. Parking is ample across the street and is free. Your can start your evening upstairs in the dining area with some great food and a full bar, then move downstairs when the band starts and have some fun out on the dance floor with plenty of other KC friends!

Personable staff, great selection of music. Diverse crowd of 21 year old college students, all the way up to 65 year olds looking to dance. The live music doesnt just fit one generation specifically. Great patio spaces(there are 3 separate outdoor patios with tables, seating and even a couple outdoor bar games. Last, but surely not least this bar&grill serves food until 2am on weekends. Overall, you wont be disappointed with the endless options to meet your favorite bar needs. Whether its getting together with coworkers for a meeting, throwing a private party in the Carriage House(used for weddings and private events), going out with friends to do karaoke, watching a ball game with the boys or reconnecting with your spouse; on a date night to dance and let loose a little bit. The Levee has been a staple in Kansas City for 65+ years and will for sure meet your expectations and needs.

A very fun weekend, nightlife spot with live music, DJs, dancing, a mix of crowded space for the club feel and open areas good for conversation. Reasonable drink prices. The “living room” venue downstairs leads to nostalgia for college house parties. A unique establishment!

Great Lunches, great food - owners are humble and nice. The place is always rocking. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and almost over attentive. Great place for late night dancing with great music. Cool outside deck. Fun place to just cruise with a beer and take in the scenes.

Oh boy. Where do I begin, I gave (Adrian) 20 dollars. This guy said I gave him 10 dollars. Even told the security guard that I gave him 10 dollars. When it comes to a bad business module.( The co- owner ) a this Adrian fella are prime examples of what makes a bad business. Lying that I didn’t give them 20 dollars and that I gave them 10 dollars. I hope these guys suffer in life as a man that wanted no problems and a good time. These fellas deserve not only to lose their jobs but to lose the respect of the costumers that want to go to this establishment. I didn’t want to but the levee is a bar that I will never attend aging an that I will call on Monday morning and report that my money had Been taken and not given back by one of there security guard and A (co-owner was his back up) so terrible on a business that they hire bad people. I wish this doesn’t happend to someone else..

Terrible crowd, even worse parking. Parking lot security just sits there and blocks traffic. Add in the drunk crowd using the parking lot as a spot to sit and chat, and you get stuck with no where to turn out and 3 other cars in the same position honking for someone to move.

We went late for drinks and were excited to see a band was setting up. The drinks were affordable, the band was great ($5 cover), and the music wasnt so loud that you couldnt talk to each other. Great fun dancing to a live cover band.

Was only here go a short time when doing a pub crawl for Saint Pattys day but it was a chill spot with live music. Could become a regular there as Ive been looking to a live music bar that has good seating. They also serve food but we didnt eat there so will update review after I try some food.

Unique yet familiar this sweet spot of a dive bar is the kinda bar where you have drinks with friends that never end! Bartenders were friendly and the food came out fresh and delicious! The best part is the multi-room concept. Cant wait to come back

This place is pretty nice. Good sized main level and upstairs bar with a patio on the 2nd level. We came when there was live music downstairs so went upstairs. Its not busy upstairs as there are a total of 7 people at the bar and a few patrons coming to get drinks from the band down stairs. We order our food and my wife orders a drink. Keep in mind my wife and I both have worked as bartenders before. He proceeds to pour a half shot of alcohol in her drink and fills the rest with juice. He then serves the other customers proceeding to pour 1.5-2.5 ounces of liquor per drink. Then our food comes out and is very visible anywhere in the room right next to the bar. He passes by our food 3x before grabbing it 5 minutes later. Nice bar with good food but terrible service.

Always a great time! Theres something for everyone: live music, karaoke night, trivia nights, a DJ for dancing. There are also multiple bar areas on multiple levels and patios for smokers or if you just like fresh air. They offer a variety of drinks at reasonable prices as well as tasty bar food.

I moved to Kansas City from the Dominican Republic in 2009. a few weeks after I got here I found this place and since my first visit until now still my favorite place to hang out, listen to live music or just just come to the upstairs bar ans watch any sport event.The people that work here, The different bands they have and the people that hang out at this place are fantastic!!! Super fun, Super nice. I love it!!!

Enjoyed myself. Very relaxing evening. My first time at this establishment but most definitely not my last!!! Not a complaint but a suggestion, please add to your liquor cabinet Bombay Sapphire Gin or even Seagrams!!! And let the bartender know to keep those righteous cocktails coming with his sexy ass!!!

This is the place for my girlfriends, love coming here to chill. Its not overwhelming and Mark is a great bartender! They have darts and pinball machine and they often have live music downstairs. Well be trying out dollar tacos tonight!

Neat spot. Several levels & outdoor spaces. Went for the very first whiskey tasting event. That was ok... Lots of rye and scotch, not a lot of bourbon which is more our preference. The tequila on offer ended up being our best pick. For $200 per couple for premium level tickets, was expecting something a bit different I suppose. Catered meal consisted of turkey, roast beef and vegetarian 1/4 sandwiches, fruit, chips, water. A few hot items came out about 30mins after our arrival, which was supposed to be available upon arrival at the premium level so folks who arrived later got that. Didnt use all our sample cups, tossed about a dozen cups between us. Dont know the DJ party atmosphere downstairs was necessarily the vibe I was expecting. The gift at the end was barware we already own and two tasting glasses we would have rather used during. Not sure what we were expecting there. I understand they were likely paying for the premium bottle service so that probably absorbed a majority of the cost. Id consider going again if a list of tasting list was available beforehand, as well as a menu so we could make a more informed decision.

My friend got punched in the back of the head by a bouncer at this bar. My friend was not a threat, did not touch the bouncer, and was simply asking the bouncer why his friend was being kicked out. My friend had to go in an ambulance to the hospital and has no memory of the event. He cannot press charges because of lack of evidence since the Levee’s cameras were ‘buffering’ at that time. The bouncers treated him horribly and this bar needs to acknowledge their fault and responsibility for assault. Bouncers are supposed to keep you safe, not harm you especially when you have done nothing wrong. Ridiculous and horrible place.

Tonight was fabulous! Mix of people fantastic band - X-Parte. Friendly staff, great drinks. Best night ever! Just wish the dance floor was bigger.

We had a private event and all was attended for with the exception of some of the men who were moving heaters while trying to close down. The men were very rude to us even as we explained we were a part of the private event, one man became very confrontational, which ended up ruining what was at first a lovely time.

Recently the price (5$) for entry went up to 10 and ever is pat down. But great music theres always a variety and because the bar has karaoke on Sundays thats my favorite time to go

I had never been here before, but my friend wanted to go for her 26th birthday. I went with my husband and sister as well. They had a 5$ cover per person. We got there and live music was playing which was awesome. We got a beer from the bar and then sat down and wanted to order food. I went to the bar to order food and the bartender said theres a waitress for my section. So I sit down and wait about 15 minutes and no one comes by. I go back up to the bar to ask for the waitress and I see him tell some other guy so I assumed theyd be over shortly. Another 15 minutes go by and still no waitress. So I decide I dont want food anymore.. and then finally the waitress comes and asks if I was wanting to order food and I just said no thanks, Im fine. 5 minutes later the manager comes over and tells me I have to leave because I shoved a waitress!?? That I talked to for 5 seconds?? Dont support this horrible excuse for a business. I was falsely accused by them and kicked out. I couldnt finish my beer and didnt get my cover money back. Treated like a criminal..All because of a bold faced lie. They treat their customers terribly. DO NOT GO HERE!

Great hole in the wall bar. Their nachos are crazy good and so was their quesadilla. During non-peak times, they are running specials on these things so that is even better. Seems to be a smokers paradise as well as they have a good section outside away from everyone but still a covered area with good seating to drink, eat, and have a smoke.

I went to the lever for a friends birthday and had a fantastic time. We ate a burger (which was awesome), drank like fish, and I even got my girl to dance awhile lol. The stolen Winnebagos rock! They could use more wait staff, but the two guy bartenders were awesome. Treat them with respect, tip well, and youll have a great time! And what a huge range of live music to choose from :)

Great spot, amazing bands first floor, cool DJs on second floor and a great pool table/bar on third. Great crowd been many times always had a blast. Also, had the best quesadillas Ive ever had in my life but my judgement was probably impaired..

Love the Leeve, dont expect fancy, expect more of a dive bar feel. Its a great bar with multiple bars, outdoor locations, rooftop bar, etc. Staff is always excellent. Ive had many a fun night at the Leeve!

Went for a private party in the back room and patio. Our bartender was amazing, and the space was a comfortable size. I think the bar manager (?) stopped by and looked pretty silky by not knowing what drinks they had behind the bar.

Brunch was yummy! The brisket quesadilla is a great appetizer!

Security should all be charged with Assault. I got slammed to the ground and choked, 3 of my other friends got punched, and they hit women. We were absolutely no threat at all. All we did was ask for our friends debit card.

Great bar that was close to my hotel. The bar tender was super nice and knowledgeable about everything going on. The food was good to and had a nice bite to eat late at night. I went to the upstairs bar to avoid the load mucus which was nice. Downstairs had live music being performed

The Levee is a great neighborhood bar, and convenient to walk to if you live on or near the plaza or Westport area. Their patio/s are ideal to hang out on all year round whether youre a smoker or not. I go in there with friends at least once a week. The only thing thats frustrating is having to pay a band cover charge (usually $5) when youre not even there to watch the band. They have a good bar food menu and are usually quick getting you drinks, but not always great checking on you for new drinks or taking orders for you on the patio, but its usually just one guy or gal managing the whole upstairs...so its not that big of a deal to walk inside to the bar.

This is THE SPOT for hang outs. They have four bars. They have a deck, patio with a bar, covered smoking area with a bar, a dance floor on the main level with a bar where live bands are often playing or karaoke is typically happening, an upper bar where trivia is usually played and tvs are on for sports fans. This is a bar for everyone with solid food options as well. They are open every day until 3a, and the kitchen is open pretty late as well.I frequent this bar, and you should too.

The Levee has been around for decades. Its under new(ish) ownership. First comment is on the happy hour. I had the BBQ and the pastrami sliders. The BBQ were just ok. The pastrami should NOT be on the menu. I havent had this bad of meat at any bar. I couldnt get past one bite, nor could my friend. The happy hour otherwise is good for the price point.The patio is enclosed with plastic for the winter and with only one or two smokers, it was intolerable in there.Levee has a live music venue downstairs, so expect a cover when theres a band. Upstairs they have bar games. Theres an event space next door under the same ownership. Its usually a very laid back crowd in there.

The Levee was the place my St Joe local friends brought there UK out-of-town guests and it lives up to its name for a great experience.Great place to see a band, good beers on tap, people that hang out at this place were fantastic!!! Great fun had by a bunch of Geordie lads, we sang along and loved it!!!

Enjoyed the live band and the overall atmosphere! It was a great view on the upper floor patio. Drunks were good and so were the shots. The servers were very polite, and super fast!

Good spot to watch sports! At night there’s usually live music on the first floor and there’s a great patio above.

Very unprofessional. Didnt ID us on the entrance and then when we went to the bar they tried to ID us after we already had gotten a drink and when one of my friends showed her ID they didnt accept it because it was like a week expired but shes 25yrs old. And one of the guys there took her drink and said she couldnt be here that she had to be 21 which she was . So they let us pay for our drinks and then kick us out!

Unique is not the word.Ive always had (knock on wood) a good time here. It has live music, upstairs - downstairs, a patio, and a mix of people from all around. Everytime I go it happens to be a torrential downpour night. Not sure what thats about.The staff is fine (again, knock on wood) it really depends on the night. But for the most part, their cool. If its crazy busy have your order ready. No harm no foul. Slower nights you get treated like the valuable regular that you are.Its in a good location and away from Westport ridiculousness which helps. Parking too. But use Uber anyway.

Good music, great staff. Super hospitable. Hidden gem.Also the music live isnt too loud and right on point!!! Come here you will not be dissapointed.Also thanks Gary the bouncer, and Dakora for being chill and for showing me the upstairs a nice break to chillax. ✌🏼✌🏼

My favorite local spot. They have a lot of different areas so you can spread out. Most of them have someone playing music. DJs and bands. I love when the cowardly lions play there. Perfect space for them. Great patio spaces for nice days.

Food took very very long to receive and there was only two other people there. When my burger arrived it was just flat out not good. Fries were alright. Bartender was nice. I would not recommend to go there to grab a beer and food after work or something, you can find much better food for same price.

The Levee has a very nice atmosphere and the band is AMAZING! Its been the best band Ive heard....ever. I didnt plan on staying long, but what the Levee has to offer, changed my mind!

Hands down; My favorite bar in Kansas City, Missouri. The best half a pound hamburger for $10 I have ever had in my entire life! Everyday they have a tall boy beer special. The bartender, Danny, is a classy dude. TOPS in my book. A great dive bar!!!! 🍺 ( hey Napoleon, can I have some of your tots?) BEST TOTS!!!!

Been coming here for decades, since Tommy Ruskin jam and Sonny Kenner Band on weekends. Looks pretty much the same, without the picture of Woody Allen behind the stage and less jazz. Service was all right for a late night drink.

The service was why I would come back for sure. The chicken slider was delicious too, with a salad on Sunday perfecto.

I went in on around 8pm on Saturday night... The place was crowded.. The music was a live band... Playing 60 s music... The dance floor was packed.. I danced and enjoyed the good jibe of the atmosphere... It was an older crowd..not a bunch of kids..I liked that... The place reminds me of a big tree house that has many levels..it was peaceful upstairs... Music still ringed out.. It was crowded up above... I guess they have a wide variety of bands that play there... They offer normal type bar food... I enjoyed myself.. And give it a thumbs up...

Fun Bar. It has a lot to offer. There are like 10 different spots to hang out in. Live music is always fun. There is also a dj in the back. Nice chill patio in the back back...so many spots, it just keeps going.

This old bar and grille! Should be an episode on lifestyle television. Been randomly visiting this place for over thirty years. Slacker vibe, drinks and good eats, I am comfy in these places!

Food is good pricing too and the kitchen is open till midnight! Lots of places to sit and chill ans a place to dance if you want to. Lots and lots of different bar areas but only two are open rn

I got the wings with buffalo sauce and my cousin got the tacos. The food looks great and taste great. The bartender Jessie was super friendly and gave the best service.

The instamatics unbelievable bring back old time songs that have been lost forever in my memory everything from Beatles Bee Gees the Wonders amazing time. Cant wait to see them again in March

Pretty standard bar. Seem to have a lot of senior nights. Staffs customer service was fair, nothing mind blowing. Very reasonably priced drinks.

Brian the manager was the best!! Went on Friday night for hh and Brian spent time explaining the beers and food options they have. Great live music too

This weekend it was Lit! Definitely coming back! Pizza was fire but the bartender made my drink a bit strong lol (Its cool tho because I got it fixed)

They need to make the place bigger its too crowded you cant dance and you cant be comfortable cuz everybodys pushing you. Some of the peoples odor doesnt blend well with each other. Whats 2 of a small place to sit and enjoy yourself

Didnt feel very welcome. Since its right up the street from St. Lukes, I found that odd. Place was empty, apparently their first foray in2 lunch. Service was good, but if a man cant get his CB med rare, theres something wrong.

This place waitress service was terrible. Our waitress forced our party into a tab when specifically told her we were going to pay cash. When we actually did finish our food and paid with cash, we checked our bank statements and notice that the waitress charged our card as well as taking our cash... I do not recommend this place.

Live music bar on the first floor. Second floor has more hip hop and the third floor has pool tables. 3 bars for the price of one. Great atmosphere decent prices.

Neat little place. Live music downstairs and more of a sports bar upstairs. Pig tales and beer were awesome! Good recommendation from the owner on what to eat. I’d suggest trying this place out.

Always is a good time down at the Levee, one of the main go to bar on my list. Friendly bartenders and all type of people go here. Truly is a great place to have a good ole time !!

The new bouncer /door guy Garrett or Garrick is hyper, incompetent and extraordinarily rude.. We have supported the Levee for a long time and do many occasions there with a great number of people, who are very polite, respectful and well known. If this situation is not addressed appropriately that will end and break a long tradition.

I was with work friends on a Wednesday night and we discovered it was karaoke night when we walked in.No food or snacks or anything; just a bar and karaoke. I dont typically visit places like this, but it was well organized and the vibe was fun.

Total dive bar. I was not impressed at all. Place smelled nasty and everything was sticky. There was nobody else in there but my wife and my brother and l. The ice in my drink tasted funny and smelled funny. There was a nasty rotten smell coming from behind the bar.

Have a great time every time I go. Love the love bands and dancing i would recommend to my friend that havent gotten to enjoy the pleasures of a good night out .ThanksTracy Murphy

The Levee feels like home. Lots of friends, great bands, the best and friendliest bartenders, servers, and doormen. It is number 1 on my list for fun

I like the place but this is the second time they over charged me, the first time was like 40 bucks extra. I thought it was a mistake, this time they over charged both tickets, one was for 4.50 cents and they charged me 30, the other was 20 something that they charged me 30. They had puke in the beer cooler downstairs. Absolutely ridiculous. Looking in to what I can do about fraudulent charges.

This place is great. The staff, bartender and security are top tier. The sound system is so good and its always a good time.

Salsa band and reggae alternate weekly on Thursdays!! I had so much fun!!! There was authentic music and dancing cha cha cha!! Upstairs and downstairs and outside patio!!

Nice place but on nights of live bands playing, there isnt enough room and need more comfortable chairs but otherwise great bar and grill.

Taking daughter out after graduating from UMKC. Went upstairs to seat 10 people. The waiter was very rude. My family got up and left. Very disappointed.
