Five stars for the reviews!! Just reading the reviews it sounds like a cool SPOTT! Im from out of town and unfortunately theyre closed. I saw on the website they were closed in 2022 and suppose to open in 23 but its October 23 and still closed and I leave in 2 weeks (bummer). Also, 5 stars for the owners responses to the bad reviews. Had me cracking up!!🤣🤣. Youre the man Jeff!!

Im really surprised that this place has so many low ratings. The Spott is a very exciting place and so unique. There is no other place in all of KC like it !If I had a complaint its that its not been opened for a while and its still closed but I have no doubt its been closed for a while so that the owner can make improvements to this place and make it even better than it was before.

Hey Ive never been here before. My wife and I were thinking about checking it out. Our main concern is people not taking a hint. We want to just check it out and have fun. Not wanting to hook up just trying to have fun. Are the people normaly pushy there? I know how drunk people get lmao.

I LOVE this place!! Its so much fun to dance and theres so many areas that you can find a place to hang out no matter what your comfort level is. I love the different themes they have. Im sad that theyre closed right now, but Im glad theyre being safe about everything. I cant wait to get back there. The owner had always been so nice to me!

Theres something about an owner that isnt afraid to insult when hes been insulted that is just refreshing. I look forward to meeting you at the grand re-opening.

Had a great time. We were a little nervous to go but once we got there, we had a blast. Security is present both outside and indoors and pay attention. There were no issues whatsoever. Folks are just laid back doing their own thing. Everyone we met was nice and having a great time. We don’t swing but just like to party where folks have fun and can be themselves. Music was awesome, bathrooms clean, plenty of ice and non alcoholic drinks. The owner swung bye to say hello and thanked us for coming. Non pressure from any patrons for anything. The establishment was clean. We will go back for sure.

Great place to kick back and be yourself, I felt safe and comfortable being there by myself . Everyone I talked to was friendly and were enjoying themselves. As a smoker, I appreciate that there is covered area to go to in bad weather. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and polite. BYOB is nice change rather than paying $6-10 for a drink at a bar. Owner is nice, he mingles thru the crowd and talks to people making sure they are enjoying the party. The heated pool is great. (Make sure to bring a towel.)

Went for my birthday and it was not what was advertised. I reserved a seat up top and got sat down low on the dance floor. Night started off nice but after 11 there was nothing fun about the club, people were wanting to fight, and with our table being in the dance floor we couldn’t even move because people start invading your table that you paid for. This was not a lifestyle club at all, this is a place that advertises as a lifestyle club but is just a house party. It was a sad situation for our first time there and we will never be back.

Only been here once, several years ago, but just wanted to leave the review I should have left back then.I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Staff/security were very tight that night due to some recent events that had taken place, but they were all very respectful, kind, and welcoming. People complain about the music being played by the DJs, but when you have a crowd of people from 20-60+ youre always going to wind up with people who complain about the music. As a DJ myself, this is just how it goes.Anyways, my favorite part about the place was that everyone here (staff and patrons alike) were all very respectful. You could barely tell who was security staff because they all know 80%+ of the patrons, so they interact with and check on people but also keep to themselves. If theres a problem, you can depend on them to resolve it.Im hoping to drag a few friends out there this weekend, and hope I can meet the owner, he seems like a cool guy.

Well my ex actually took me a couple times and I got to meet Jeff and a few people that knew my ex and I really thought everyone was very nice and personable and if it does open back up I would love to go again and see if I would be accepted again and I think Jeff is a true American thank you Jeff

Went for New yrs and it looked like a cafeteria hall with a few party city decorations. They gouged for seating though there was only maybe 50 ppl total so you can tell they are struggling. The bathrooms are worse than a porter potty. The Music was trash so I just left because after paying parking and entrance felt like i shouldbe able to sit down especially when there was so many empty tables at 11:30 .The only cool part was the receptionist and 2 security guards lol. It was my first and last time ever going there

My wife and I were first timers at the club. We didnt really know what to expect, just looking to meet people and talk, maybe drink a bit and dance. The reception and the security guard were very friendly. The other patrons, however, not so much. They were a bit cliche-y and no one seemed very approachable. And I dont know if it was because were a lesbian couple, or because were so young, or because were new, but a majority of the other patrons kept giving us weird or dirty looks. We didnt feel very welcome, so we ended up leaving early. It wasnt a bad experience per say, just disappointing.

Upon arrival you first must get past the feeling of entering a war compound in Afghanistan, tall fences with razor barbed wire and enough armed security to halt an invasion. Definitely pay up front for parking, it’s worth it.Once inside you are nicely greeted, checked in and must go thru metal detection.The venue is large with ample seating (some choice tables are reservation only) and the dance floor is large and equipped with poles and a fabulous sound system. DJ operated. There are private and open playrooms, outdoor pool and smoking patios.We first started coming to The Spott in 2016 as a Lifestyle club and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and dance music and felt safe in the playrooms. We are not from KC and have made 2 trips specifically to enjoy the club since it’s reopening this year, sadly we won’t be returning again. If you’re looking for a 20+ year old hip hop environment this is the place to be, but if Lifestyle is what you’re looking for with minimal single men, sadly, this is not your place any more.

I loved it here and wish I could frequent more,even as a single polyamorous guy I enjoyed myself and could be myself,great venue and love the music ,the staff were awesome and attentive but not over bearing,security was good because I felt safe and didnt know rget were there,host was awesome Jeff you are the Man!!.Just wish there was lube and rubbers to access there,but I did love how clean it was and appreciated the wipes and towels.I definitely recommend this venue,Ive been all over the states in many ls clubs but this was a textbook success and place to be .

Im not going to blame the owner for anything. Hes a nice guy and has worked very hard to keep this place the #1 spot in area.I will say that everyone that goes to this place should show some respect to the staff and to the owner. You come here to bring trouble and you will find trouble quickly while being removed. This place is not for everyone however I recommend you try it once to see if it is for you. My buddy is security for this place. I went to see for myself and talk about a party this place is where its at. I had such a great time I didnt even realize it stays open til 5am..party on cant wait to go back...definitely a party to be at. The owner was really cool and the space was off the chain.

Heard about this place years ago and was intrigued. A co-worker was on site working and needed some extra hands, so he called me in to help. Come to find out, it is very well laid out, and nicely decorated. I met the owner, and he explained the history of the place, and brought me up to why we were standing there. Thanks for the work Jeff. Looking forward to seeing what is planned next for the place as an upgrade. A great building with a wonderful atmosphere, that has recently been diagnosed and has been rumored, even given the title as, The Spott, to be...!!!!!!

I went last night for the first with my husband and it was so much fun. It was relaxed and everyone was just doing their own things. And the owner is awesome. He is super friendly and doesnt play when it comes to breaking the rules. We are going back next Saturday

The actual club itself is impressive, the heated pool was a nice touch. There was ample security and they kept to themselves until several party goers got too rowdy. The hot tub was out of commission and the music was just alright. The overall cleanliness of the place deteriorates as the evening goes on (entirely the fault of the patrons) and around 3AM is the perfect time to leave. However, the club has limited parking and the late comers blocked the parking lot making it impossible to leave. We were forced to stay until 6:30AM because of the parking situation. If you come here please just take an Uber and save yourself the trouble.

I found my new favorite spot at The SPOTT!!! My second time this past weekend... My Big Daddy went with me and we had the most fun. I love to dance... DJ mixes the music up for everyone in the crowd and I love that. I love the themes lets me get dress up or dressed down😉. I agree with earlier ratings the front desk staff is awesome and welcoming that will definitely keep me coming back. See you soon at The SPOTT.

My boyfriend and I decided to investigate this place one weekend to see what it was all about and it definitely didnt disappoint I was very hesitant to go to a new club the first time we went and when I showed up everyone was so kind and inviting. It made me feel so much more comfortable being in a different environment. Now my boyfriend and I are going any free chance we get!

We havent been for two years just because life happens and its a long drive for us but well worth it, every time we have gone we have had an amazing time, Jeff is an amazing, friendly host. We will be attending 4/13 for Lynns birthday. For some reason I cant find the lsf2 site has anyone else having problems

I have been to The Spott once, back at the beginning of the year. The guy I was dating at the time got me interested in trying it out. I was most impressed with the enployees at the front desk. The gal told us we looked great and made us feel welcome. We basically just people watched the whole time. Everyone looked like they were having fun and the music was great. I had never entertained swinging before but this club is a great place for anyone to start. Unfortunately I am not with the guy I went with anymore, so I havent been back, but good job on giving everyone a good time.

We frequent the place as an after hours spott! They play a mix of current music...staff is AMAZING!!! TOP NOTCH security inside and out. Multiple lounge spots plus a pool, hot tub, cabanas, and a man on the grill (outside, but theres heaters). My FAVE part is the crowded dance floor complete with a POLE! IT GOES DOWN after 2AM on that dance floor yal! The dj keeps it lit and the people are of a mixed demographic. I dont go for the private room type atmosphere but they are available if thats your thing! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out! Buy tickets online and SAVE some $$$! Only spott to be after 2am. My only recommendation...be open Fridays too!!!!

Hope it come back 2024 a lot of folks still ask about this place but they should make the age 25+. I put 4stars cause u guys still closed the whole city waiting for the reopen I check this site every week

I’ve found my favorite place in KC. It’s definitely a fun place to go. All of the staff members were friendly. I went for the first time with my wife last weeked. We really enjoyed ourselves and others. Bests for Couples hence the kind of club it is. I wouldn’t say it’s the best club for single men. If you want relax around people like yourself, enjoy some excitement, and have fun this is definitely The Spott. Even tho I Gave it 5 stars, because of the great experience. I hope that the staff can become a little more strict on the (No Taking Photos or Videos Policy) or stress it more when people come in. I kind of caught a few people attempting to record others without them knowing. If they can do that it’ll be perfect.

You know Ive been to the spot three four times I guess over the last year and I plan to go a whole lot more when I get opened Ill Tell you folks you cant find a better place in Kansas City to have fun theres always friendly women and they have the private rooms I mean its pretty much anything goes party Im just nobodys hurting anyone its a great place I love it kind of spend a lot more time there hope you guys get it opened up pretty soon you will be seeing me there I suggest anyone that hasnt tried it give it a try just go with an open mind and be polite to people you will have a ball I do every time I go

Joe the trucker here. Ive been coming to this club since 2016. It is one of the best clubs in the United States. Great prices and great atmosphere. The owner is friendly and nice to everyone. Hope it opens back up soon

Ive never enjoyed The Kc Night LifeAll the places Ive been to before are hostile and everyone is worried about the next person and what their wearing 🙄I went to The Sport relieved there was enough seating, Its BYOB 👏✊👍, they provide cups ices and fountain drinks, the Dance floor is a little small but enough room is made thru out the night. Im not an Open Person but it was nice seeing people who were care free and trying to have a good time. Its open late which is bonus. Ill be going back.

Pretty enjoyable experience! I am fairly new to swinging but I came here and felt completely welcome. I got my pee pee sucked by an old woman with huge fake gazungas and had a naked dance off with some other fellows. I would have given five stars but the nachos were cold.

Being a single mom not looking nor have time for a relationship but still have my needs so this is the PERFECT getaway. Safe, clean, and any kind of person you could possibly want to meet. Plus the sexy, positive, and all around good vibe everyone brings to the club just make it 1 of a kind. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

I like it. They have an awesome dj, everyone is polite, the pool is freaking awesome. It gives the feel of a island getaway everybody dances! And it Ricks until 5 am!!

Wish they had a dress code, especially on New Years Eve. People were slow to dance, but overall a great place to be yourself. They should check out The Trapeze and try to do the same upscale party.

Now, 13 visits later, We have fallen heels over head in love with the entire venue. The outdoor pool scene complete with private gazebos, #3 for me, please. The super chill patrons. This place is the worst. The owner is a creeper and has altered his operation to nickel and dime you. From charging to use playroom to charging more if you don’t pay online using a site that is routinely down and inaccessible, all this guy cares about is bleeding his clients dry. Don’t give this club your patronage.

I never enjoyed the night life. So, I decided to come here as a single guy on new years eve. There were several young single guys like me and they all left very shortly but i stayed there for six hours. I was continuously roaming here and there looking for a nice place to sit(because smoking room was full of smoke). I am straight although one African-american gay approached me three times. Later crowd gone wild and one African-american guy wanted to fight with a white guy and some lady informed the bouncers about that and then i decided to leave. Then i was able to understand why they have metal detectors installed at the gates. Obviously i am not a party person (because i dont smoke/drink). But long story short after watching this kind of environment i would never wanna enjoy night life. I always stay alone and never get bored, but that night i was really bored and roasted.

This place is so much fun, from the party themes to the dance music, or after a long week, just relaxing and being part of the crowd. I always feel comfortable here. The owner is attentive to each customer, making sure everyone is taken care of and happy. Im so bummed that they are closed down, but Ive been seeing weekly updates on their Facebook page to know what to expect, and believe that as soon as they open back up, me along with a club full of people will be lined up rejoicing! Lol. Great work, guys!

This place is soo dope 😍My husband and I travel from the Top evry chance we get and when we get to the city, there is no need to bar hop. We come straight here every time. The only place in KCMO where the urban night life is popping, safely!

It as fun until lots of people were partaking of the Mary Jane. Had VIP booth by dance floor & it was so overwhelming we had to leave cutting our night out early.

This place is a joke to the lifestyle. For one they allow a crazy amount of singles just drooling table to table. They allow all the rejects from the hiphop scene, filming you, no respect. Music is trash also.

My wife and I have been there twice and have had a great time meeting people, it is a friendly laid back atmosphere that is also respectful and fun. We look forward to going back again in the future, it is worth the 3+ hour drive for us.

I have been there twice.. it’s a real nice place for couples or single ladies.. I’m not convinced the environment is ideal for single men...I notice not a lot of single men frequent the place or at least not the times I was there.. I’m not giving it a bad review because I think it is a real descent safe club and there is not A lot is safe clubs around...I’m from NC and we only have one of these clubs there and even there it’s hard for single men to fit in...So definitely give it a try and see for yourself....

I like to wear as little as possible and just hang out with people. There is always something to see if you look in the right places. KCs BEST kept secret and I hope it stays that way.

A clean safe and friendly after hours nightclub. BYOB with a heated hot tub in the spring fall and summer. It is a little pricey if you go by yourself they give a discount for couples.

Perhaps you should make everyone RSVP before each event. It may stop the drunks from coming after the regular bars close. Free party is a bad. More people means a bigger chance of attracting bad eggs.

The DJ was probably the worst DJ alive! The music selection was so terrible that everyone around my table was complaining. People were smoking inside the building and the whole place smelled like a smoke house. I probably will never go there again just because of the indoor smoking.

Wow this place is the low end of the food chain could be a nice set up but cheaply put together, Owner was very creepy, place has a odd smell to it, the main room is super bright feels like a high school prom with the lights on, after 1am all the thugs arrive, the sheriffs Dept are out writing as many tickets as they can, would not recommend this place for beginners or single ladies to dangerous

When I first started going here was a safe environment for people with lifestyle differences NOW it’s a hip hop Thug life club full of youngsters with no maturity… why can’t we get back out lifestyle club 30 and over this is such a disappointment

Great place, has heated pool, large hot tub, huge deck, a great dance floor, and who can beat that, nobody. A great place to party, plus it is BYOB.
