When it was neon wild its played all genres and was fun to see people do michael jackson dances or just dance offs in general. It was unique and one of a kind. Now its just another redneck bar. We already have plenty of country bars, and PNL bars, this one was a mix of all genres. Sad to see it go but i wont be visiting new establishment based on being country only. Other side if u like country but PBR prices are insane, go here. Door entry was $8 cash. And cash only bar. Would return if bring back neon wild vibes, otherwise just another hick bar.
Accidentally went in this place looking for the proctologist office. Cowboy people. Nice dance floor full of beautiful women and a bachelorette group. Took off before the fun really started,
This place looks great but a cover charge to get into an empty bar is not a good business plan .if you have a band then charge a cover ,but you are losing money with this policy.
We had a blast. It was so much fun. The lights and overall ambiance/vibe is nice, drinks and fees is reasonable. The music was danceable haha. The only negative is that the club was smaller than I imagined and the bouncer was so agressive when were all about to leave like you can still be nice to us even if were drunk (I can still remember) like he wants us to leave! hurry! We would still come back here and hopefully hell be nicer.
Pretty koo place nice vibe, but the main bouncer is a a**hole. He Made me take my hate off. I was koo with it but after going in side I noticed that everyone was wear hates. I felt singled out and discriminated against. Other then that it was ok. Also my first drink had something floating in it. They don’t have cognac.
Went here for my birthday. It was just okay. The dress code says no, ball caps, stocking caps or do rags but when we walked in, 1 lady in our group was wearing a hat that doesnt fit in any of those categories but they made her take it off anyways. Later, a girl wearing a pink light-up cowboy hat was let in as well as a woman wearing a do rag. The rules only apply to whomever they choose. Music was basic and the staff was not friendly. That will probably be my 1 and only visit.
🚩🚩🚩 Women, go elsewhere. Many creeps. The mens bathroom has a two-way mirror so they can watch the dance floor from the urinals. Not to mention the racist dress code. Thankfully I made it home safe but it wasnt the carefree, fun night I was hoping for.
Its cheaper than Funky Town, but I wouldnt come here if you live south of the river. The music is okay, but I find the dance floor to be severely lacking of people most of the time here.PSA to the 💅 people, this place is not for us! Opt for Funky Town if you want a much more fun disco/groovy night, it may be more expensive than here, but definitely worth the money.
The music and the venue were good but the drink prices at the bar varied between bartenders. I was paying anywhere between $6-8 per drink depending on which bartender was helping me. I would not be surprised if some of the bartenders are doing this and pocketing the difference.
Went to a bachelorette party here. Great music, mostly 90s early 2000s played. DJ was entertaining and teased the bride (all in good fun). Cash bar. Had a fun time dancing the night away. Would go again.
Club is wack. I went two ago had a blast. Tried to get in last night. The big goofy bouncer turned me around because I had a hat on. I think the old white lady that take the money short changed my friend as well. Wack club, black ppl let them have it. They dont want us in there so dont spend no money in there.

Fun little night club that is geared for the 30+ crowd, but is 21+ for entrance. Went on a Saturday night and most of the music was from the 80s and 90s. The only downfalls Ive found... aside from a floor that was so sticky my shoes were making noise is that they either are cash only... or just were that night. Drinks are pretty fair priced as I paid $21 for 2 tequila sunrises and a crown and coke. My only real complaint is that their whiskey selection is lacking, and there are some drinks they cant make because they dont carry the ingredients required... and they appear to only carry the big 3 when it comes to beer.
Came in on a Saturday night. The cover was 6 dollars. They only take cash at the door, but there is a ATM right there if you need it. Its a good mix of music, and there is a video screen that plays while the music is going. Its was ok.
Wish it wasnt cash only, but song variety was good and venue was spacious enough for a decent sized crowd. Appreciated the no drinks on dance floor rule too. Just less mess and mayhem to worry about when youre getting down 🕺
I really love this club, if your wanting to let loose, meet new ppl or just dance the night away this is the spot for you. Drinks are good, I recommend just go for the buckets if your just getting started. Where comfy shoes ladies cause if its lit theres No Where to sit. Love this place I gave it a 4 🌟 cause the floors where so sticky last time. Make it hard to dance 😵
DO NOT GO TO NEON WILD!! You make a complaint against any of their staff they do nothing and they will block you on Facebook! When river aces had the shooting there years ago and the shared parking lot was affected the cops told us to go back into neon wild and they wouldnt let us because it was closing time so instead they made us sit outside on the sidewalk for 2 hours with no concern for our safety!!! They will deny but I have family members who are law enforcement and were there that night, read the police report!
Nice place for dancing. They play a wide variety of dance songs from the 70s and later. Friday night and they had periodic bar sales (e.g. $3.00 beers and $2 shots). A very diverse crowd.
Cool little place. Different ages of people. Noticed it gets busy about 11pm. $6 cover. Cash only. There is ATM by the door. Really nice people and bartenders. They play 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Music is great
I was enjoying the music, atmosphere and even the people! Then the DJ yells Where the white women at? And Security is throwing ICE at each other and ping me right on my head 😂😠 The whole vibe changed after that! Only 1.5hrs into visit I was outta there! Dayum would if been a cool spot!
I love the music they play. I did not like the fact that a giant chunk of mold was in my mixed drink which tells me they never clean out their ice chest. Also bathroom had no soap. Obviously they dont care about cleaning. Would be nice if they took credit card too.
This is a fun place to celebrate a birthday or bridal party. The music variety from 70s, 80s, 90s and Top 40 keeps the people on the dance floor. Love the decor of Neon Wild! Fun atmosphere and plan to be back!
Im my opinion its too small of a place and too hot...they have no fans...but it was fun.. They play good music and festive atmosphere.. Cover charge is $6 and drinks are $7 that to me is a little high.. But over all I would rate it a 3/5.

I dont want to even give this place 1 star. We went here for my bachalorett party. The workers at the door were not just rude but extremely rude. The big man checking IDs was forceful pushing his arm out to block the next person ready to show ID. Not necessary at all. We waited in a long line paid our way in & got a hand stamp. They have a separate door you can exit. If you exit, they will not let you back in that door even if you have your hand stamp. They yelled us like children when we tried to peak out to see if one of our girls was outside. So we walked out to look for her since we were being yelled at. After not finding our friend we walked back up to the entrance around the line to show our stamp so we cld get back inside. Those same two workers at the door barked at us that we had to wait from the back of the line. So 30 minutes goes by before we are able to enter again losing out on the time we had left. On top of that, since we had no idea we wld not be allowed back in immediately, another lady in our group got concerned where we were so she went outside to check and 40 min later she finally made it back in. There was 14 ladies in our group, all grown up respectful women, not causing any problems and I have never been to a place that treats their paying customers like insubordinate juveniles. We will never go back here. Their are plenty of places that play dance music and know how to treat their customers with assumed mutual respect.
I had so much freakin fun here!!! AND they sell my vodka! (Not many do) Its busy but not ballz to the walls busy :) everyone was dancing and having a great time. No wait at the bar either. Highly recommend.
My first visit was good, not many people there, music was good. Second was awful. Yes, its a bar but seriously the amount of extremely drunk people was of the charts inside and out. Not impressed and Will probably never go back.
Great place to dance and unwind after a hard week. Music is good. DJ is very personable and in touch with the crowd. It is a place where anyone can have a great time man or woman. Come and have fun.

I always have a good time at neon wild. Being that I am a dancer from the 80s, I have noticed that there seems to be a playlist that gets played over and over. Hopefully they will be able to add more music one day.
I havent been there for a long time. It seems like everytime I go there it has been a pretty fun place to go to. The bouncers are nice and the ladies are fun to dance with.
To whomever this relates to... avoid this place at all cost. You pay a 7 dollar entry fee. Now that isnt really the issue. Its a 7 dollar fee to hang with your peoples and maybe 5-7 randoms. With over priced drinks that lack any real amount of alcohol 💔
Great place to dance. I went on a Saturday and it was packed. More old time classics for music on the particular night I went. Relatively good drink selection. $6 every drink. No food.
Im a sober man, staffing is horrible. Creepy thing is men in the bathroom have a creepy window to stare out of on the dance the floor while they pee. Seems odd when they kick out people that look like cops 🤪
This place is absolutely amazing with the black lights! They only take cash but they have an ATM up front. I wish they accepted a tab...my bill would be through the roof! So I guess its a good thing they dont take cards

I went for the first time last night April 2nd 2016 it was Awesome !!!! The music, dancing, bartenders, and the Security guy with his hat on backwards and a goatee and an Awesome smile !!! And the friends I was with it was just a lot of fun!!!
Super rude older man bouncer . There was apparently a noFlat Bill hat rule- I found this out by asking him why he was so abrasive with a female by taking her hat and it was clearly bentAt least 10 other people wearing hats. He also got in the face of my friends daughter on her 21st birthday about her boyfriends hat which was also bent. I also was asked my another bouncer sent by the older man to move over bc I was bad for business standing there by the bar area where you walk in. Atmosphere was good for entertainment Ill say that and people watching.. Would never go here had it not been that I was a DD and had to. Will never go back and would never advise anyone else to. .very hostile environment.Oh ! And you have to ok pay 5 bucks to get in this crap shack.
I am not sure which person in our group suggested we go to Neon Wild, but I doubt they would ever admit it. It has the atmosphere of a trashy strip club with out the charm of nudity.. The drinks were priced reasonably but not accordingly. BUT WHY WAS EVERY SURFACE SO STICKY!?

Ehhh, its ok if youre super drunk. Thats about the only time I find myself there. They have a cover charge which throws me off every time. I dont really understand why they charge to get in. It would make more sense if they had a known local band but they dont.

When I asked why that’s an issue they yell at me saying “Because that’s just our dress policy!”If that ain’t the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard....
Had a lot of fun dancing to 90s and 00s music. Some nights its play a song for 1 minute then switch songs. Too ADHD for me.

Great old style black light club with a big ,dry(no drinks or standing on it) dance floor.Unique view from the mens room.DJ Rule plays a good mix of classic & some new songs .He doesnt bother try to improve the music by unnecessary mixing and mashing.Friday is better if you want more dance room and a few more newer songs.
Hit or miss..prettty typical dance club. Its fun if you are in that mood. Best part is they great music. Well great if you were in college in the mid 90s.

I love Neon Wild. Everyone dances without caring what others think of them. Theres all types of people there who just want to dance and have fun.
Cash only. long line. Absolutely terrible service. Staff gives off the impression it doesnt want to be there and security wants to hassle you. Go to P&L or West Port, much better service and better time.
Its a fun place and safe. Security dont put up with bs. Only down fall is not enough seating at times. Other than that its pretty fun.

I dont know if its very African American friendly the bouncer was rude and I was told I couldnt come it with a ball cap on as I looked at 3 white guys with ball caps on inside already! He said because their cap was bent wth?? So if I would have bent my cap into an arc would u let me in?? Come on man! It was obvious discrimination.
