By FAR the BEST bathing suit buying experience I have ever had! Got my size and coverage needs and ran from there. Ended up with several beautiful suits that I cannot wait to wear on my vacation!

THE SPRAY TAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! LISTEN TO THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU HOW DARK TO GO. HE STEERED ME EXACTLY TO WHAT I WANTED. I WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO GO HIGHER WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO HIGH. THE RESULTS ARE STUNNING! A WEEK LATER STILL AMAZING. BOUGHT EVEN MORE, HEADING BACK ASAP. THE SWIMWEAR....I CANT EVEN BEGIN TO TELL YOU THE SELECTION. BIG, SMALL, BOY SHORT, FULL, BRAZILIAN, THONG, WHATEVER...THEY HAVE IT.

Ive been tanning at this place for a few years now. Started off great, the prices are reasonable compared to other places. The beds are old, but work well. If you have a schedule that is busy, you may want to think twice though. This places closes randomly quite frequently. For instance, this weekend it closes at noon on a Saturday all the way through Tuesday. They did text a heads up this morning about this weekend, but that doesnt do much good if your schedule only allows you to go after work or on weekends. Also, it says it closes at 7pm, but if you dont call them to let them know you are coming before 6:30, forget it. Just a few examples from March and April I got texts about either being closed or business hour changes on March 8th, 10th, 17th, 21st, 25th, and April 4th, and the whole weekend this weekend April 13 till Tuesday next week. Im not sure what happened this year, but Ill be going elsewhere to tan from here on out. You cant run a business and not have reliable business hours, so I give up.

The owner, Phil & his staff are beyond exceptional, providing quick and courteous service while offering the best MAINTAINED & up-to-date beds. They have been in business as long as they have for a reason - Im now 35 & can recall when my mother had a membership there, over 20 plus years ago! Additionally, if youre looking for swimwear, youve found your place. I cant say enough good things about this place, the people, & overall environment & experience!

Angelina is a gem! Very friendly and professional. Swimsuit shopping can be frustrating, but she made it very pleasant! I love my new suit and can’t wait to wear it next week on my 30th anniversary trip!

I spent about 45 minutes with Angelina the other day and she has to be one of the most pleasant human beings I have ever run into. We bonded over customer service 😏. You can tell she is loved. Very mature for her age and can multitask like no other. You get A-1 customer service at this place.

If I could give Sun City more than 10 stars...I would!! Ive been a LONG time customer since 1994, and since then have visited them several times a month if not weekly! Be it for tanning or swimwear among their newest addition of selling firearms to keep the men busy while the women shop...they are AWESOME! Couldnt be more satisfied with the CUSTOMER SERVICE and the products they sell! Ive not bought another swimming suit anywhere else since 1994...they have the best variety in swimwear without a doubt!! I am a devoted customer forever!! Phil the owner is very pleasant and always makes sure everyone is completely happy with their purchase as well as being up front and honest about store policies. They are a small business and thats whats great about it...You get the attention and respect you deserve when you shop or use his his tanning beds (which by the way, are the best Ive ever used!!!) The store has a great atmosphere as well as friendly staff to help you find the right suit just for you! Sun City takes pride in their business, and you can tell as soon as you walk in the door...you are greeted immediately. Their store is immaculately clean, and its nice to have someone fit your body to swimwear that actually accentuates you!! The owner really puts the customers needs and wants first! Expect to be wowed when you visit Sun City because that is what you will get!! CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!

Everytime i come to Sun City the Service is outstanding! Jill took the time for me to try on a dozen suits til i found the one i really loved! I always come to Sun City when i want a new swim suit! Lots of choices in every style you can imagine and their suits are high quality and last forever! Wife and daughter love the swim wear selection and we’ve been tanning there for years. Great prices, friendly and professional staff with well maintained tanning beds. No old bulbs or dirty, dusty rooms here. And I love that the building looks like a shop straight out of your favorite Florida vacation spot. Highly recommended.

I was so impressed with this experience in every way! My mother and I brought my daughter here to find a swimsuit that would fit her properly (she is large-busted but not otherwise large, and hard to fit in standard venues). The moment we walked in, I just knew we had come to the right place. The owner (Phil?) is so friendly and absolutely knowledgeable about properly fitting swimsuits. Prices are very reasonable, and after trying on several (and having choices that fit was a happy new experience in itself), my daughter is thrilled with her new suit. This is top-notch, professional, yet easy-going customer service! No snooty boutique attitudes and pricing. Best beds in town!Always a clean environment (even prior to COVID19), staff is always fast and friendly, and even though I havent purchased any swimwear here, they have a very unique selection that you can, and will not find anywhere else! As a bonus, the owner is good-hearted individual, who is more than genuine & will more than likely become your friend over time. At this point, that Pink building is more than a landmark due to how long they have been there and that hasnt happened by accident!Thanks guys!

I absolutely LOVE this tanning salon! I moved to KC 3 years ago and my boss recommended it to me. Phil and Kristi DiMaggio are the most engaged and helpful owners of any salon that I have ever been to. Their staff is amazing and not only do they have the best tanning beds but they have the largest swimsuit selection! If you havent been to this salon you need to stop by and check it out. Itll be the best customer service experience that you will ever have!!

I just recently started tanning here and i can truly say the experience has been wonderful. The owner and all the staff make you feel like you are part of the family not just a member. I was so impressed by the knowledge, the friendliness, cleanliness and of course the huge amount of bathing suit selections. A highly recommend!!

Swimsuit shopping has never been something I looked forward to, and this time was no different. A friend told me about Sun City, and how awesome it was, so decided to give it a try. I had not worn a swimsuit since my breast reconstruction after breast cancer, and wanted to make sure the scars would not show. Phil was amazing!! He explained his process, and basically he asked us to pick out a few tops we liked, and then from that point on, he would do the running for us and we just had to stay in the dressing rooms. He was not critical, and definitely understood swimsuits from a womans point of view. He was extremely patient and very pleasant. I probably tried on at least 10 tops. And even the one with a pattern that looked to me like a patio cushion, looked amazing on. He was right! :) Once we picked out our tops, then we moved on to the bottoms. Phil actually made it a very fun experience. In addition to swimsuits, they have a nice selection of cover-ups and sandals. Look forward to looking at the cover-ups when I am not in a rush to get back to work!!

Best Customer Service. Been a loyal customer to Sun City for almost 20 years. They have great specials on packages. And a variety of tanning beds overall an amazing experience Everytime I go!! Also they have quality swimsuits and swim apparel as well!!

The owner was very helpful. I had just had a miscarriage and was very anxious about what Id look like in a bikini... but he was very patient and understanding taking the time I needed to find something. After trying on several ones , I found the perfect one. The fit is perfect, I feel comfortable , and confident. There were many to choose from selection wise . I even got 2 different ones. Ill never go back to Victoria Secret for a swimsuit. . it was worth the drive !!! 😊

I am a large busted woman and I have bought 5 or more swimsuits in the last 4 years, just hoping that I could make them fit, with no success. Wish I had known about this place sooner! The gentleman who assisted me was both friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately found the correct size, showed me all the styles and designs he had and I walked out with a beautiful bikini top and bottoms that I love! The prices were reasonable and there was a lot to choose from. The atmosphere was comfortable and I immediately felt good about trying on bathing suits, something that most people can agree isnt much fun. Had a wonderful time and will absolutely go back for any future bathing suit purchase. I highly recommend them to anyone and would rate higher than 5 stars if I could!

What a cool little shop! Stumbled across this place a while back while locating my new FFL for a transfer as he was the least expensive of any in the area. This is a one stop shop if you dig being around the water. Huge selection of swim suits for both guys and the gals! And the place isnt littered with cheap stuff. High quality waterside attire! And if youre looking for a place to get some bronzing skin color, this is the spot! State of the art tanning beds and spray booths. And there an aqua massage bed too. That thing is AMAZING!!! I live it! You can also expect friendly welcome every time you arrive. After my first couple of visits, I already felt like I was a long time customer. Ive never had a less than pleasant experience. A great find!

Ive been shopping for swimsuits at Sun City for 10 years. The staff is always so helpful and attentive. The owner will bring you swimsuit after swimsuit until you find exactly what youre looking for (even if youre Not sure exactly what that might be when you walk in). My experience with Sun City Tanning has always been nothing but the best. The beds are always clean, Phil & the girls are always friendly. The prices on the packages are hands down the best, and I always leave feeling like I got what I paid for. Love the music atmosphere and the vibe!

It is difficult to get in and out of the parking. The staff was nice. The room I had for the stand up bed was a little small. They dont have a time limit prior to starting the tan which is really nice. They had cute swim suits but a little on the pricy side for the ones I liked. Definitely worth a try if you tan alot. They have decent packages for monthly tanning.

This hands down the best place to purchase swimwear! I do not normally like to look and try in swimsuits. At a department store, you pick out 10-15 different suits and not one of them looks good, or fits! Not this place! I walk in today because my boss referred me there, saying they have a ton of suits to choose from. When I walked in I was greeted immediately by a super friendly, and knowledgeable gentleman who owned the salon. He asked what I was looking for, I told him a bikini. He asked me all the right questions; what size , do I want full bottom coverage etc... I told him I want mid tummy coverage and full bottom coverage. He picked out the perfect top and bottom for me! He made my normal dreadful time shopping for a swimsuit very helpful and enjoyable! I even picked out the cutest flip flops and over swimsuit T-shirt! The best thing, I was in and out in less than 45 minutes!!!!!! If you are looking for a swimsuit, please go see Big Phil at Sun City! I would like to give this one place a 100 star rating if I could!

Ive been going to tanning salons for over 30 years and Sun City is the best salon EVER! Phil is awesome and the staff are really friendly. He has the BEST deals on spray tans and the swimsuit selection is unlimited. This place is a MUST if youre looking for that perfect tan!

I stopped by Sun City to purchase a swimsuit for my husband and ended up purchasing 2 suits for my self also. The owner was amazing to work with on finding the perfect fitting suit for me. He pull many tops and bottoms trying to find the right one for me. I will definitely be back to purchase my next swim suit.

Phenomenal customer service and they absolutely know their product! For the third year in a row Ive made my swim wear purchases at Sun City. It took me two years to understand that I simply need to tell them what Im looking for in cut and color, they do the rest. Today I spent a total of 20 minutes shopping. I left with two PERFECT suits that mix and match!! Excellent fit, completely stress-free- you dont get that anywhere else!! Ive tried. Thank you so much!!

I’ve known Phil the owner of Sun City for almost 30 years (my mom was one of his 1st customers). He has the best selection of high quality swimwear. He maintains his tanning beds better than anyone else. Unlike others he isn’t in it for the short term, this is his business, his passion and it clearly shows.

Best place to tan north of the river! I have been going here since Phil first opened and wouldn’t go any place else! Hydro massage is awesome! The place is always extremely clean and the tanning beds are great. The swim merchandise is the best as well. Can’t say enough great things about it!

Over the last year I had gained some weight due to a medication, and was very very apprehensive about swimsuit shopping this season, sigh, but Sun City Tanning And Swimwear totally and completely eased my mind!!!!! I went in thinking I was going to settle for a one piece (due to my weight gain) but ended up buying TWO BIKINIS and they are gorgeous!!!!! I feel a WORLD more confident and cannot wait to be on the beach next week (going on a cruise, yay!), and flaunt these gorgeous suits. Tip - Do not be self conscious when going in and trying on swimwear! Please please do not expect to hide out in the fitting room and do this alone - Sun City is there for YOU and encourages you to come out and show them each suit you try on because that is how they can assist you in the BEST way!!!! They will make you feel like a million bucks!! I will NEVER shop anywhere else for swimwear. Incredible experience, in LOVE with my suits!!!

Sun City is a wonderful small tanning salon that offers swimwear, tanning and hydro massage tables year round. One nice thing is they offer the most affordable FFL Transfers of firearms in the area. It is nice to be able to find new local swimwear for a mid winter trip to the islands. The owner and his staff are a top notch and do what ever they can to help the customer. Been using them for years and highly recommend!

I have been going to Sun City since I was 15 years old. I’m now almost 44 years young! I love Phil and his wife. Every time is welcoming. The beds are top notch and the service too. Bathing suits galore!! I absolutely recommend Sun City to everyone!!! I literally drive 30 minutes just to go to ONLY “Sun City”!

I have 3 teen daughters and being able to get professional guidance on size and fit of swimwear is extremely important. Phil does such a great job explaining the process and helping you find just the right suit. Sun City is my go to swimwear shop! The employees are not only friendly but very knowledgeable about what style and fit compliments you. I always leave there feeling great about how Ill look and feel at the pool or breach. I cant recommend them enough!

No idea how this place is. Never went in. Many gun sales - own parking spots. If youre not buying a gun, you cant park there. Gave you 3 stars because my neighbor uses you all. When I pulled in, for her convenience, I was TOLD, not asked, to move this is for gun sales only! The man was rude. Im hoping 2021 is better for all of us!

Great people and great customer service and not just knowledgeable but very helpful and want to please with a very good product line.Tanning. Lotions. Beach ware. Bedroom attire. There is too much to list as they have it all. Even massages. A good tan and massage after a good workout is a great way to start my weekends on a Friday.Wouldnt recommend any place over this one and wont go anywhere but here myself.

So, I had been going to this salon on and off for 20 years. Unfortunately, my last experience is one that solidified why I will never return. The beds haven’t been updated since I started tanning there and the restrictions are unreasonable. If you want to tan two days in a row you have to pay anywhere from 1-3 dollars additionally. The membership itself is already about 30% over market value and for outdated technology. The hours are short, especially on the weekends and they’re even shorter in the Winter. I switched to Planet Fitness (a half a mile away) and can tan however much I want, whenever I want, for half the price. Also, you can get almost everything they sell on Amazon for about 25% less. I do not recommend this salon.

Been going here for years for all of our swimwear. Always have a great selection and always able to find something unique. Nothing worse than going to the lake or even the pool and everybody has the same suit as you. The owner and his staff really care about their customers and will do anything I can to help you! I highly recommend the hydro massage bed.

Sun City has a HUGE selection of suits in addition to a variety of beds both sunless and traditional. The owner and his staff are also fantastic at fitting you in a swimsuit. Trust them to make selections for you that suit your body type (any) and youll walk out feeling like a million bucks! You must also check out the Hydro Bed. Can you imagine, a one stop shop!? Massage, tanning and shopping!

This place is fantastic! I have been looking for a swimsuit for months and couldnt find anything I liked! I came to Sun City and Phil the owner, very nice and professional, listened to my concerns and the struggles that I have had with my hunt for a good suit. He sized me, asked me what style I liked and BAM... I had two suits withing minutes that I LOVE and great quality! I am going to be rockin it on my vaca to Sanibel Island! I was worried about the quality of swimsuits I might find at Sun City based upon the look of the building when I pulled into the parking lot. Additionally, I was a bit skeptical that a man was going to be assisting/fitting me for a swimsuit; however, he knows his stuff. He was very helpful and insisted on finding a swimsuit style that I felt comfortable in. I am pleased with the quality, style, and fit of the swimsuits I purchased. I will definitely be going back to visit Sun City the next time I need a new swimsuit.

Phil is the man. Ive gotten several firearms transferred through him. Every time is pleasant and quick. Hes a busy man but makes the time to talk with you and takes an interest in your business. I cant recommend this place enough.

These guys are great! The staff actually knows what they are doing. If you go to get a swim suit, there are like a TON of them, and they will actually help you find a great one. The tanning beds always have fresh bulbs, and the place is CLEAN! I dont know much about bulbs and beds, but all I know is when I go, I get a great tan, and no burn! I cant say enough good stuff.

I have been a customer here since I was a teenager. I haven’t found a Cyber bed quite like the one at Sun City or the service I receive when I walk in the door or call. I spray tan here often too and am impressed with the prices, the cleanliness and the final result! I couldn’t imagine tanning anywhere else!

They continued to withdraw money from my account even after I called them and asked that my membership be canceled, which they said they would take care of, and asked for a refund I was told I would be getting no such refund until I wrote a letter stating I wanted it canceled. Crooks are what they are. And whatch getting your wish from them as well.

Completely turned my thoughts around on Victoria secret swimsuits today!! Went in today and a gentleman greeted me asked me what I was looking for, and said a swimsuit. Went right into asking me and helping me find exactly what I needed! Was in and out less than 20 min and walked out with 2 new suits and couldnt be more thrilled! Wasn’t impressed. The man ( co owner I’m assuming ) is very creepy. When my friend and I were trying on swimwear , he kept wanting us to come out and show him which made us uncomfortable. The swimwear is VERY over priced and doesn’t feel as luxury as it’s made up to be. The owner was very rude too. She wasn’t helpful and dismissed us. The only good thing I can say is this location is very clean. Will not go back.

Love! Where else can you get a swimming suit, accessories and a tan all in one place! They have a huge selection of swimming suits so its hard to find just one. I also love the fact that when Ive gone to Florida in December I can go there and buy a swimming suit when I cant find one anywhere else!

I was leaving for a trip for premier designs national rally, I left in like 13 hours and had been to literally every store , searching for even one suit that fit. I couldnt find anything, I searched for maybe 4 hours at other stores . I walked in here and within 15 min he had fitted me for a suit and showed me what worked with my body type and it was gorgeous ! thank you so much! and I got so many compliments!

Love these guys. If you cant find a suit here, male or female, your probably not going to find one. Mix match, sizes, colors, cover ups. Nothing better then really feeling good in your suit! Summer yeah!!!!

It made me put one star to publish this review but if i could id put -10 because this place is a joke! The guy that runs this place who i think is the man that is constantly there has absolutely no idea what customer service is. Make sure you absolutely LOVE the cheaply made things you buy from this place because there is no going back!

Place is clean, owner is knowledgeable of products theysale . They offer 3 types of tanning beds, along with spray tanning and a water massage therapy bed .they also have a variety of swimwear male and female and a ton of accessories...

Fast & friendly. Phil always takes care of me. Love the hydro massage bed, you gotta try it!

They didnt give me good instructions for spray tan. My hands were orange next day.

This is Great place, I use the massage bed. The staff and owner are nice and knowledgeable about there products. The cost is affordable. Give them a try.

The service was excellent, only had a couple suits in my size. Not the place if you are full figured. Not the place if you are on a budget. Cannot be the attention you get at any price!
