If you’re looking for the best drag show in Key West, Aqua Nightclub is the place to be! We were so impressed that we went three nights in a row, including one show at The Bird Cage, which has a more cabaret-style vibe. Every queen was absolutely incredible, striking the perfect balance between engaging with the audience, putting on a fantastic show, and keeping everyone laughing.The crowd varied from night to night, and there were even a few bachelorette parties in attendance. No matter the size of the crowd, the energy was always high. Overall, Aqua offers the hands-down best drag show experience in Key West. We cant wait to go back!

Incredible queens, great bartenders, perfect atmosphere.I could not recommend this place enough. We got to see Faith, Jessica, and Maya and these queens put on a SHOW. Back-to-back numbers, for two solid hours, and never a dip in energy. Faith was a wonderful hostess, and all the queens were lovely and engaged with the audience every number. The bartenders both in club and out back were all very nice and very attentive.We brought my mom here for her first ever drag show - she’s already looking for a reason to come back. If you have the time, see a show. If you don’t have the time, make some!

Our friends and I came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday and it was PERFECTION! We did have a slight issue with our tickets being double booked but the staff was so incredible and took care of us the whole night and we honestly had such an incredible experience! Our seats were perfect, the drinks were tasty but let’s face it, we were there for the queens! Faith Michaels was such a marvelous host and all of the pieces were highly entertaining! I also loved the spooky themes and decorations - it got us all into the Halloween spirit. It was also our friends first time to a drag show and we couldn’t have picked a better show! I will absolutely recommend anyone visit!

Ok, theres no actual food to eat here. The back bar behind the club serves food. As for Aqua itself, If youre the least bit homophobic, stay away. If you like drag queens, dont mind having risqué fun, and dont mind getting picked on by men dressed up as women, this is for you. The shows are hilarious and best when you go with a group. We usually see Bachelorette parties, or girls night out as well as some friendly groups of folks from every orientation. Last warning: dont go if you expect to sit back in a corner and hide...they will only pay more attention to you!! Dont worry, you wont get molested, but you might have your shirt taken off if youre a guy! Dont worry about bringing Dollar bills. They have them there for you to exchange your larger currency.

A really great time! My wife and I enjoyed this tasteful and funny show. Definitely catch the act while in town and tip the performers!

We visit Key West every summer, and each summer we make sure at least 1 evening is spent at Aqua! It is always a great experience. There are 6 of us (me, my wife, my daughters and their husband / boyfriend) and we always reserve a VIP booth. We look forward to seeing you again next summer!

One of the best drag shows I went to, I went Friday the 13th and the show was fun and amazing. They made everyone feel included and comfortable. They were beautiful and their dances were very well coordinated. Yes it is a place to have fun, it was the highlight of my Key West trip.

The show was amazing, especially with the host, who was pretty, funny, and entertaining. She did the best job out of all four of the other queens. The bar was nice and cool for a summer night, and the staff was friendly

A really fun time and high quality drag show! The queens are entertaining and talented,one of them even sang LIVE!! They were sassy and funny to audience members, engaging with us and even making fun of us in a funny way. Would definitely recommend coming here for a lively and exciting evening!

I went with a friend just for curiosity on a random Sunday. We were not charged to get in and we were able chose the table we wanted, drinks and service were good. I laughed non stop, the queens were very funny, we’re wearing great costumes and everybody was having a good time.I gave 3 stars because I didn’t know and I didn’t like the fact that each artist went few times around the audience with a bucket collecting money, which kind of distracts. They have an ATM on site!

What a memorable time we had last night. We started out in the main venue having a drink at the bar and caught the beginning of a fabulous show put on by the Aquanettes. Jenn the bartender was fabulous and while we waited for the show to start I was watching the staff ushering people to their places and taking drink orders and informing guests at the door about the venue. It was a really well orchestrated production. Then the show started and the girls were AMAZING! Really fun and interactive, the crowd loved it. We had to go after about a half an hour because we were heading out back to see the Birdcage Cabaret show which we had booked earlier in the day.The Birdcage was a hit for us. We were clapping and laughing (and tipping) because the hostess Epiphany Got Money was quite the entertainer. The girls that night were Elle Taylor Jessica Devereaux and a new girl who I wish I could remember her name but she had this schtick of acting clumsy and naive but then just like the others came to stage like a fierce tiger and made her mark like a pro. The production value of this show is fantastic a beautiful set and stage and room. We will be back soon because Christopher Peterson, the brainchild was in bed with a handsome man that evening and was not in attendance lol....

The absolutely best drag queen show in the world.Tasteful, talented, entertaining and funny as Hell.We have been coming here for 18 years or so and always look forward to returning.Now with the addition of The Birdcage Cabaret, truly over the top entertainment value. New owners Mike and his wife have enhanced an already great experience. I beg everyone to visit these venues for unforgettable happy times.

Beatrix Dixie was the absolute best hostess! We had a fantastic evening. The drinks were good, our server even cuter! I mean, better! What a great way to celebrate the sparkle that makes Key West FABULOUS! ✨️ Bring lots of $20s for tip money, the twerkins working! xo

Super fun! Reserve seats to get a good spot! Queens are hilarious and their different personalities really come through in their dress and dance style. The entire staff very good—efficient and friendly. Music is varied and lip synced. I rated this a three because the show overemphasizes tipping. Generous tipping is important in the service industry but it distracted from the show. 1/3 of the time the performers were out of sight as they walked/danced around collecting bills. And BTW, those tips are for the performers and not shared with the servers. There should be a better way to assure compensation. Nonetheless I recommend a visit as part of your Key West experience, particularly if you’ve never been. If you go, take a stack of singles, have fun and participate in the tipping process.

This drag show was extremely disappointing. It is completely top oriented with 0 performance involved. One drag queen literally just sat on stage with a bucket for tips, doing nothing. I’ve been to many drag shows and never seen one like this. The bartender and server were nice. The performance was barely there. Tips are earned, not forced. By doing nothing. Not to mention- no tip was good enough and made clear. Not a great experience. Save your money. Pricey too.

The drinks were good and the entertainment was excellent 👌. Rene performance was the best part of the night. We have such a great and fun time.

We went for on out Honeymoon! We had the absolute best time! It was my Husbands first time at a show, they made sure he had the best experience! The best show I have ever been too! We will be coming back!

Must see in Key West!! Go go go!I’ve been to multiple shows and all the queens are great! They each have their own personality and performance style, if you can get to a show with Faith Michaels in it though, you won’t be disappointed. Servers are attentive and quick, bartenders are quick and you won’t go long without a drink. DJ also does great job keeping music going and sound on point.You can pay card for the cover charge but make sure to have singles to tip them as they walk around and interact during the show. Don’t be shy, they won’t hurt you ;)Would recommend making reservation, especially during busy times, as it does fill up, but most times you can walk in.

Went here for my birthday. The show wasnt bad but we definitely expected more since its Key West. Would go again if we were in town.

Keywest at its finest! This is a fantastic show 🥰‼️was lots of fun very interactive and lots of laughs and great music! No food served but they did have some popcorn. Drinks were great. Servers were great and really worked hard to keep us happy. Show was great. Would definitely recommend and go again !

So a few of my friends went here to check it out we were having a good time . We went to take a picture and a waiter who is not our waiter, came up to us and told us to stay out of the back room which we weren’t going intoNeedless to say I won’t be going back here anymore

Best drag bar in the keys!! Plenty of seating, prompt waiter service for drinks, and incredible performers! I’m from NY and have attended many drag shows, so trust me this place rocks!Don’t forget your small bills for tipping the queens, your waiter can make change :)

A Disappointing Drag Show Experience in Key West; Having traveled to drag shows all across the US, our visit to Aqua in Key West on a Saturday evening left us profoundly disappointed. While the host managed to keep the energy up with their entertaining presence, the overall quality of the performances fell short of our expectations.The other performers relied heavily on lip-syncing and delivered lackluster routines that lacked creativity and skill. Instead of showcasing genuine talent, one performer resorted to playing with toys and making crude gestures throughout their act, leaving us unimpressed and disheartened by the lack of professionalism. For a city like Key West, known for its vibrant drag culture, we had anticipated a much higher caliber of entertainment. However, what we experienced felt like a letdown, with performances that failed to capture the essence and artistry of drag. Nevertheless, our disappointment was alleviated somewhat when one of the servers, Tanner, took the stage for karaoke after the show. Tanners remarkable singing and dancing abilities far surpassed those of the previous performers, leaving us to wonder why such talent was being underutilized as a server rather than being showcased as a headliner. Its evident that there may be underlying politics or barriers preventing individuals like Tanner from taking center stage, which is a shame considering the immense talent they possess. If Aqua could harness the potential of performers like Tanner, it could elevate the quality of its shows and provide a more fulfilling experience for its audience.In conclusion, while Aqua may have some entertaining aspects, particularly with its host, the overall drag show experience fell short of expectations, highlighting the need for improvement and the recognition of untapped talent within the establishment.

This place is awesome!! A must see while in Key West!!! The dancers are incredibly entertaining, funny and very interactive with the crowd. My husband and I had an amazing time. Next time we’re going to the 2 hour show, 1 hour just isn’t enough!!!

OMG this was amazing!!! Our first and it was so incredible!!! The show was absolutely wonderful! Such talent and great singing !!! I’d go again the same night!! Highly recommend! Best in the Keys!!!!

So much fun and just enjoyed the show and the welcome to be yourself. The dancing and singing was fantastic. The only thing that could have made it way better would have been Ron Disantis duck taped in the audience! 💚

If you are looking for some fun on Key West, stop at Aqua for a drag show. The three Queens that we saw each had their unique personalities that made it hilarious while also honoring some great pop and country divas. One even sang 2 songs Live herself, which was awesome! Bring lots of singles or get change there because tickets are not a lot of money but those queens will give you your own little private show for those dollars!

I would have to say not some place I would goto. BUT. Omg it was soo much fun. The cast was fun to watch and the group was good. Service was awesome . If you come to KW check this out. Its a great laugh

This was my first drag show and it was just so much fun! My husband and I came. The host (can’t remember her name) was amazing! They were all so much fun and great music selection too. There were two servers to the entire place and they were on top of it. Our server tanner was so sweet, I absolutely loved him! The service was great, the show was great. It truly was one of the best parts of my birthday trip to the keys.

Although the performers do have some talent, after the initial round of the 4 entertainers coming out individually and lip-synching to a couple of songs, it became rather repetitious. Each time they made their rounds through the audience, they expected to be tipped for doing very little. Most everyone left after an hour or so. No food served, was given 1/2 price tickets to visit the food truck behind the building which wasn’t open til the next day.

Cannot describe how much I enjoyed this!!! My first drag show and certainly not the last🤩 . Each performer was outstanding and unique in their own ways- all incredible entertainers. Faith Michaels was hosting that night and was on point- perfect with costuming, makeup, personality and audience connection! Took me right back to “The Birdcage” movie❤️ . Beatrix and Elle were the other HIGHLY entertaining performers for that show. So grateful my husband and I went! He also had a great time:)). Can’t thank you all enough!!! Cheryl Quinn

It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it! Such an amazing experience and very talented drag queens. They know how to get the party started

The drag queens looked spectacular. The jokes were funny and raunchy. They lip-synched to good songs. And 2 of them danced around. All of that was great. Half of the 2 hour show is great; the other half is them walking to every table looking for tips from every individual while a song plays in the background. it wasnt a cheap show. But I would rather pay more for the ticket than the constant tip request.

We had a great time and if youre going to a drag show, call and reserve a booth because you get more interaction with the entertainers and its more comfortable. Drinks are good and Matthew the one server on the floor was amazing, we never had to wait! The show was fun and energetic.

So first the good, the performers were all super fun and high energy. The music was great, the venue is clean, the staff was mostly friendly (somewhat disinterested in the crowd but not unfriendly) and the service was good.The only negative I really have, but its not a small one for me, was that each song had the ladies roaming through the crowd with a collection basket. I happily tossed in our singles as they passed but it seemed to take away from the performances themselves. I would happily have paid the extra $40-$50 I tossed into the baskets in ticket price or as a single tip to each performer.Id definently go back but Id make sure I had a fat stack of singles first.

Wow, what a fantastic show. From the minute you walk in the door you are treated like royalty. Everyone is so glad you came. The show is so entertaining and amazing. You just cant help smiling....We will go again on our next visit to key west.

Ignore any bad comments, this place is wonderful! 20 dollar cover but for a 2 hour show is definitely worth it. And yes queens ask for tips, It’s how drag shows work. You dont have to tip if you dont want to. At first glance this seems like more geared toward tourists/first drag experience style shows, but there is serious talent here. Faith Michaels, Elle Taylor, and Maya Montana (former Miss Gay America!!) are fantastic performers and are friendly and hospitable. I come here at least twice every time I’m in Key West and i love it.

Went for the early drag show. It was so much fun. Our waiter was extremely personable. The show had so much humor thrown in. Really great performance personalities.Good drinks, too.

It was my first drag show and I had a blast! If you dont have reservations make sure to get there 30 min early to get a seat, its a small place so theres really no bad seats. Make sure to bring cash for tips, the ladies work really hard to put on a great show and earn every dollar! Doesnt matter if you straight or not, if you have a sense of humor and want to have fun this is the place to go.

Best show ever! The ladies were fantastic performers and Paul killed it serving us drinks. The outfit changes were amazing. Best people ever, you wont be disappointed. Spring for the vip, its worth it.

Went to a Drag show here, it was only $20 so I guess you get what you pay for. It was ok but I was expecting the queens to do a little more than just walk around. Drinks were good and the servers were great. The food truck out back was alright and do not bring food to your table despite the servers telling us they would.

I am not sure how this show got so many good reviews. Interactive?! The first interaction of the show is when they asked if we had dollar bills for the show. We should have known and left right there. This was the saddest excuse for a drag show Ive ever seen and Ive been to several. Three performers only lip synced their way through the crowd collecting dollar bills. Only one actually sang TWO songs towards the end of the show. Sad because he did have a good voice. One walked through like a mummy. We got a $150 VIP table for 4 for a birthday. Other than the server being awesome, that was the worst money spent in a night ever.

Came down for a couple days from Orlando and stopped in to see the Aqua girls. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was great. Club was aesthetically pleasing, very clean, organized and welcoming. The show was two hours and its was one of the beat drag shows we have seen. We were not disappointed in the least. We had a drink too and it was great!

After walking all over key trying to find a fun place to spend my 25th birthday. We found this awesome place where I had so much fun we came for the show at 9pm and the vibe was great. A lot of bachelorettes were coming here too and had a ton of fun, interacting with the Queens was very exciting.

As if the experience was enough visiting, the owner or manager thought they’d serve attitude because I didn’t like the business on yelp. He did the same thing to anyone else who gave him one stars. Go have fun with bachelorette parties for yourself with a stiff cover and weak drinks. Boo. My pregnant friend couldn’t get a virgin mojito, aka, the don’t use simple syrup. I’ll let you decide what sort of “bar” doesn’t have simple syrup. And as others mentioned, it’s allllllll about the tips. Girls stop dancing to pose with people for how ever long it takes to get the shot. It might be a few minutes before you see her again as she makes the rounds. Will I get a snarky response from Kimball (the agro owner/manager person) here too!???

Went to the drag show and it was awesome! Performers were very entertaining and fun to talk to after the show. My sister said it was her favorite part of our vacation in Key West.

The effort these performers put in to every song is out of this world. The make up, costumes, choreography, its so good. For the price of a ticket you wont find better entertainment. And on top of that, theyre incredible human beings. So sweet.

The waiters were amazing, they always checked on us and got our order perfectly. All the drags were so fun, but the host of the show, Faith was definitely the best. Faith even asked us at the end if we enjoyed ourselves. Really fun.

Aqua is a place we must go to a number of times when visiting Key West. The show is superb, and the Queens are so fun and amazing at what they do. The staff and drinks are always great. We always leave with a smile on our face and always look forward to going back!

This is an absolute must while in Key West. The drag queens were amazing! They were very interactive with the entire crowd and you could tell they loved their job. Their show will definitely have you laughing and having a good time!

The aquanetts are fantastic , very entertaining , and make you feel like you are apart of the show , beautiful costumes , I was there with my family celebrating a wedding and a birthday , and The Queens where so interactive with everyone , we ,had the pleasure of meeting Faith , Inga and Mia , all fantastic ,, this wasnt my first drag show , but it was definitely the best , and let me tell you that the waiter is quite a treat himself , love the way he served me my beer and I dont even drink , but I couldnt pass up the opportunity to receive what he had to offer , definitely a treat. Faith Michelle , and the rest of the Queens or fantastic and I would love to see them again and again . Keep rocking Queens I absolutely loved your show.

Stopped by on a Wednesday for happy hour. Place was dead, maybe 3 locals at the bar. Female bartender was so rude and unfriendly. Like we were bothering her by just exsisting. Regular cocktails were $10 each, so no really happy hour deal. Bartender really shouldnt be in the hospitality business.

We love nightclub entertainment. Purple Onion in San Fran need I say more. Lipsync, Red boots, and did I mention shhh bubbles. Went to the early show didn’t make it to the food in back. Bar service excellent. It was fun, flirty and fabulous. It’s a participatory show ( bring bills for tipping). Leave your troubles at the door and have a blast!!

We had an absolute amazing time! We went here and got the VIP booth for my sisters 21st birthday! We had a tough time choosing which drag show in key West to attend because they all have amazing reviews. I will say we saw another show the night before at another venue, and the auqanettes blew them out of the water! If you only have time to see one show do yourself a favor and see these amazing ladies! Be ready to laugh out loud and be amazed and dazzled by their talent! Also, the staff was so sweet and attentive too! They always made sure the drinks were flowing and that you were satisfied!

I cant believe I am in my early sixties and have never been to a drag show. These queens (Inga, Faith, and Elle) were great. I dont know how they be so fun in this political climate! Anyway, they were marvelous, outgoing, and friendly. I especially liked that they had a 7 pm show for old people like me.

Your makeup, is terrible!Absolutely loved this place and it being my first time ever, not knowing what exactly to expect, I was thrilled and fascinated by the performances. Came in with a group of friends in a weekend getaway to the keys and each person on our party enjoyed each minute of the show. So much laughter!Lets not forget the man behind the DJ booth the amazing job he did. There was not even one sound glitch and the music was amazing. Mr. DJ and the audio team: you are unsung heroes and you are doing a great job!There were 2 servers working all the tables since space is limited and the performers need to be able to move around, but both did an excellent job in coming by about every 8 minutes and getting our refills. Bartenders were fast too!This place is running like a good oiled machine and they have a good system going. Fast service, the beers were fairly inexpensive and the entertainment was A+.If you are visiting Key West, this place is a must see.

Absolutely fantastic show! The performers are top-notch and are so well prepared. Kudos to the bartenders and waitstaff everyone was incredibly professional. Only reason not giving five stars is because came with a large party for a bachelor party and provided the bachelors name and was told that they would take care of us. However that never happened as no recognition was given or even congratulations. I really think that was just a miss communion

Beatrix, Epiphany, and Elle. Beatrix rocked the night between her humor, dancing, and singing. Alcohol was okay. Staff was kind. The drag queens walked around more than fifty percent of the time for tips. Other drag shows I’ve seen included more dancing/performing on stage and this is my personal preference(I always tip, just personal preference in wanting to see more performing). Overall it was a fun experience.

Drag show was so boring…. Everywhere in duval st. the shots are $8 but here….. it’s expensive for no reason

Atmosphere was nice however the bartender was awful. She never acknowledged us the entire time we were there (maybe 45 min) we had to flag her down for two shots. We hand her a $20 and she takes the money, upours the shots and walks away. We thought we maybe spent $15 at most on them since they were mixed, but since we got no change or acknowledgment afterwards we were confused. I flag her down again to ask how much they were and she said $19 to our surprise. Expensive but it was fine. Immediately after she says nice tip by the way. We had no idea the shots were that price and when we asked to clarify she gave a nasty comment. We immediately left and would’ve tipped more had we received decent treatment and been told politely what the cost was. Too bad since the vibes otherwise were good. Older lady, didn’t catch her name.

Aqua is the best drag show hands down!!! Faith, Elle, Beatrix, Epiphany, Jessica, Maya, Inga are all amazing!! Any night of the week is great!! Service and drinks are great. The queens work hard so you have a great time and I always do!! Much love to Faith, Elle, Epiphany and Beatrix!!!

If you plan to go here be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars in extra fees just to get in the door. I went with a party of 3 with pre-booked, pre-paid tickets and they charged me $100 in fees when I got to the door.On top of that, we left half way through the show because this has got to be the WORST drag queen show I have ever gone too. A bunch of people lip syncing to songs with barely any talent, no talent in dancing either. Waste of time and money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

As someone who appreciates drag shows I was exceptionally disappointed. There were three drag queens of minimal talent who really did not dance but circles the crowd for tips, one even sat on the edge of the stage not even singing but waving guests down for money. It was a boring show with outdated drag queens who really didn’t dance or entertain. The facility is beautiful, DJ was good, but overall the performances were awful and I wouldn’t go back. This was not worth the cover and I wouldn’t spend any more money here.

The food should actually get zero stars and let me tell you why: The food truck that recently opened up in the back has more OSHA violations than I could possibly count. But here are just a few - notice none of the workers are wearing hair nets; youll notice it a lot more when you are digging strands of hair out of your quesadillas. As if that isnt bad enough they have a prep/line cook that is always covered in sweat. I couldnt help noticing (and being grossed out at the same time) that his beads of sweat were so bad that it was dripping onto raw/uncooked food and while he is on the line cooking around heat? - its freaking Niagara Falls!!! Its beyond disgusting and total contamination. There also seems to be no hot water heater at this place. If there is, its not working properly. So you can be discomforted in knowing that all dishes are being washed in lukewarm water at best. I guess pH scales and hairnets just arent that important to put on an order list. Maybe theyll discover its a tad important when you are filing a lawsuit for the food poisioning you are most definitely going to get at this establishment. For the love of God - PLEASE DO NOT EAT THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Key Wests anwer to entertainment? More like Key Wests answer to dysentery.

Id give the drag queen show a solid 5 stars for being both incredibly funny and highly entertaining. The performers humor and energy captivated the audience, making it an unforgettable experience.

My friends and I went to the show tonight and it was so much fun!! Beatrix, Epiphany, and Maya were great! Loved the costumes and the performances. And the men in the audience were such great sports. Definitely recommend.

These performers were spectacular! My 2 daughters and I had a fabulous time. Not only were the acts great but also the way they interacted with the audience. Side note-Beatrix stole the show! She’s so talented and definitely too big for the room! You are going places girl!💕

Absolutely 10/10 experience. We went to a 7pm show on a Thursday and it was amazing. The girls are so talented and we met them after the show and they were so so nice, especially Faith, who is hilarious and so welcoming and kind. We loved it so much that we went back at 9pm on Sunday. Faith had remembered us from days before, which was so sweet. This show was wild, almost an hour longer than the 7pm show and it was insane. The outfits, the music, the performance. Everything was out of this world. The girls proved to be even more talented than I had thought and they’re all so funny. Just a precaution to the straight men who go, YOU WILL BE PICKED ON, and it’s hilarious. So if you have a raunchy sense of humor, or just a sense of humor at all, you will love this. Please go support these girls. They work tirelessly and you will not leave disappointed. If you can, try and go to the later shows on weekends and make reservations ahead of time. SO GOOD.

So disappointed compared to when I was there many years ago. There were 3 entertainers. Only 1had any talent at all. One of the entertainers had such a bad odor - from 3 feet away - that it drove us to leave (and several others who we met outside as they left there also making negative comments). All the entertainers did was beg for tips. There was really no show. Just them walking around for tips.The waiter was really rude too. I get the dry sense of humor thing, and can accept most any comments, but he didn’t even have a good delivery. We were so excited to go - based on our prior experience. Left very disappointed.Years ago it was a classy entertaining show with talented performers. Now - it’s just not worth the $20 admission (and they begged for tips at the front calling it front end tips). I really never write reviews unless they are good and kind of feel bad for writing this - but it was just that bad.Most people only stay in KW for 3 nights. If this is you, don’t waste one of them at Aqua. Sorry! Aqua just needs to get it act together again… Literally.

I love bringing our visiting friends to Aqua, especially the Drag Show virgins. Last week was another great show. My friend adds; It was an entertaining night and the ladies were very friendly and funny. Thank you ladies, you never fail to impress!

I came in December 12th on a Sunday night the late show. I had an amazing time. I read a few reviews as I came to write my own with some people complaining about the tipping aspect and for me personally the tipping part was half the fun and makes it interactive with the crowd. And every time we tipped for every act it was received with multiple thank you so much thank thank you. As I performer myself I understand the value of the art how much it costs with each outfit how much the make up costs and how long it takes to put on not just the act itself that also takes time to rehearse.There was one older lady in the crowd that left early after being told twice not to get up and block the runway and then I believe she tried to steal the mike or something to that degree- don’t go to someone’s show and try to steal the attention it’s not only rude but makes you look like you have never been told no before in your life. If you like a show that you can be interactive with this is for you but that does come with the tip as it should. I appreciated the show and I felt appreciated for tipping from the staff and the performers. I would 10000% go again. I’ve gone to other drag shows where the tipping aspect isn’t part of it but to be honest in my opinion this is a lot more fun! I thought the crowd that was there my night and hour was really good at showing their love to the performers so the energy that you give comes back as well through the show! Also the DJ although in the back was also giving off great energy while playing music! Can’t wait to come back!

One performer was dancing and singing her heart out. I loved her act! Another was just walking around with a bag on a stick as if she was gathering collections at church. I didnt know Id be expected to tip the performers on top of paying the ticket to the show. Never seen in it like that.

The show was pretty fun. There was some fun jokes and a variance in performer style. This is more on the slow paced drag shows weve been to with 2 of the acts and one performer is more dance oriented like we are accustom to. I think there were a few performers that really stand out and then one that didnt really do anything. If we could rate the individual performers one of them would definitely get a 5 but that is not the case. The drinks are on the sweet side but some people like that. I would make sure if you are planning on going here you book in advance because they can get sold out pretty quickly

DO NOT COME HERE. We’ve been to several drag shows and our experience was not fun. We felt that the drag queens were not dancing on stage as much, only wanting tips and made 3-5 rounds around the tables getting as much money as possible. I understand they survive off of tips but this was extreme. They only interacted with certain people throughout time (even though we tipped well) and one of them approached my fiancé while he was in the bathroom. I’m not here to get my money back but to share our experience. We wish we saw the reviews before coming here.

Went looking for a show, got a bunch of drag ladies lip syncing and collecting $ the entire show. 3 drags, 3 different acts from each, 3 different times from each walking around the audience asking for tips. Not a show worth paying for unless some real talent actually shows up. Im a straight man looking from an objective standpoint. I had a party of 5 and we made it RAIN like 300 in singles. (like a strip club) did we get attention? Yes... Was it worth it? No!

Im going to start with a rant and then unpack it, OK? Entrance fee to high for boring show, then you get pumped constantly for money to pay the performers, The bar is dirty and run down, and the drag show is the same old, fat, and increasingly flat footed white men.Ive been to this show many times, and it is falling way behind the times. Who says that a drag show has to be old white crossdressers? Donovan where were you?There are so many interesting flavors in the rainbow...where are they? The talent - or non talent- on stage at Aqua is getting older, fatter, whiter, and the show is more boring every year. These old drag queens are phoning it in now.The bar itself hasnt been redecorated in years. Its run down, dirty, uncomfortable, and badly in need of an upgrade. Drinks are too expensive of course but thats expected.Excessive entrance fee, is it just greedy management? We paid $43 for two people to get in. Where does this money go? The performers made you think that they made nothing but tips, and they constantly - I mean constantly- pumping you for tips.Lets get some younger, fitter, and more varied LGBTQ talent on the stage at aqua.

Was welcomed very warmly by Steven, Kyle took good care at the bar! Stayed there until 3am way past the Drag Show which was pretty awesome.Would definitely highly recommend as a must!Steven (2 2) and Kyle (witty comebacks) you know who I am!

The ladies were just constantly rotating around the seating area collecting tips. CONSTANTLY. At one point, a performer who was singing was just literally walking around carrying a black pail over her arm holding it out for tips. I wouldnt go back again.

The entertainment here was fun and a bit raunchy ( we opted for this)! We were VERY over charged for drinks! 1 hour of entertainment and 3 drinks each... our bill came to $230. USD That did not include the entertainment entry fee, no food and not including the tipping we did. The wait staff were friendly and the entertainers were decent just not at all worth $230. For 6 drinks!!!! 3 Margarita style drinks and 3 Rye and cokes!!!!

Honestly Im flabbergasted. Came here for a Bachelorette and had an amazing experience until I dealt with the bartender. I waited to get my card back for 30 minutes, and was incredibly patient. When I got my check I tipped 18% and HAD THE BARTENDER WALK UP TO ME AND ARGUE because the tip was a dollar less than he thought he deserved. Not to mention he only fealt comfortable speaking this way to the only black girl in the group. He was rude and unprofessional. Would not return after this experience

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time here, it was the best night of our entire trip! We made a point to go back twice before we left Key West! Reserve ahead of time for a table and make sure to bring cash to tip the performers! Faith Michaels was the best host anyone could ask for! All of the Queens 👑 were amazing and you could tell the effort put into the costumes and performances! 💃🏽Nothing bad to say, everything was great and welcoming and it was such a fun experience! The show is very entertaining. It is definitely a fun place. Costumes are great. In my vists I have seen 5 different queens perform. They are all friendly and put on a great show. The server was on point, he took care of everyone. Drinks arent over priced. This was my 3rd visit and next time I am in Key West I will see the show again. Honestly I cant think of a negative thing to say.

We had such a great experience here. We were in town for a birthday week. The service at Aqua was top notch! The drag show was a scream. I havent danced so much in a long time. Tip these ladies well. They certainly deserve it!

Initially a good experience but turned sour. Paul and his pay for karaoke is flawed AF. We payed for drinks even got MULTIPLE refills and NEVER called on my name to sing. People came in AFTER weve been there for a couple of hours or so and I asked Paul about my place in line and why he was conveniently skipping my name (which he blamed me for it this) he even sang multiple times, (weird right???) let other people sing multiple times w/o them paying for drinks. the bartender/the help was and is irrelevant and past her/they/them prime.

They do not honor legally registered service dogs. You will be arrested for trespassing regardless of your condition and/or legal paperwork. My patience ran out. 23 years here and all I wanted was to celebrate my Birthday an New Years. I will never again recommend your club. Especially when there are so many better options. Person that looked at my service dogs valid ID did not take it seriously. They literally looked at it and said, Ha ha ha, I have one too. Said I was rude then kicked me out. Look at the video and you will see. I will indeed file a claim with the ADA.

This was, without a doubt, the most fun part of my weekend bachelor party in Key West! Our friends were able to get us seats all along the bar at the back and we essentially had the bartender to ourselves the entire night. The show was fantastic and we ended up staying for the 11 pm show because we were having so much fun! The drag queens were fabulous and I absolutely recommend Aqua for any visit to Key West!

Absolutely fantastic! I fully recommend the extra fee for one of the bigger tables when going in a group of 3 or more-worth it for the space and great views. You want a light show? You’ve got it. Passionate lip syncs and fantastic queens? You’re home. Raunchy drag comedy your thing? You better believe it’s here. Required viewing for any Key West visitor, and I can’t wait to come back soon :)

This was our first time (my SO and I) ever coming to a drag show and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!! The atmosphere was great, the bartender was wonderful, the ladies were gorgeous, and they were hilarious!! What an absolutely wonderful show. We will be back for sure!

This was the best part of our trip to Key West! By far the funniest most entertaining show Ive been to. It was my fiances first time going and although he may have been a little hesitant at first he soon realized it was a blast. The drinks were good and the cheapest I had found by far. All staff were friendly and gave off a warm vibe. This show is very interactive! We will be back and have already recommended friends and family to go!

Too much fun! The queens loved my husband the night we came, especially the host, which made it even more fun. It was my husbands first drag show but by the end of it he was having a blast. At the end of the show they recognized newlyweds, honeymooners and birthday havers. We would go back in a heartbeat!

The shows at Aqua Nightclub were amazing. Faith Michaels—if you go to a show, go to one in which she is performing. Faith has it all—stunning outfits, beautiful looks, amazing stage presence, and knows how to work the crowds. It is because of Faith that we returned for a second show. The other queens we saw were great also and all seemed to have their strong suits. There was a wide variety—fishy, singers, comedic and campy.Some things to keep in mind, that many could view as being pluses. The shows go longer than other shows that we attended—about two hours. As with other shows on the island, there are not many gays in attendance, although this show was probably the best representation. Be prepared if you are gay, some of the audience members are curious about who we are—we definitely had an older grandmotherly woman take our picture during the show making us feel like the token gays. Finally, be prepared to tip, these shows are these girls’ livelihood, and the work they put in is worth tips for them.

The only reason I’m leaving 4 stars as opposed to 5 is the service. The queens were amazing, the vibe of the bar are amazing and overall an amazing time.I stood at the bar and was ignored so I was forced to go to the other bar. I figured that was just due to how busy they were so I disregarded it.HOWEVER, the employee Matt, I believe is his name. (He had a hat and sparkly shorts tonight) was very rude to me and many other guests. He had a very bad attitude towards everyone and seemed to lack communication skills. He used very forceful gestures rather than politely letting people know they could not stand somewhere or to move.

You are engaged the entire time by not just the show but also the music (shout out to the DJ!). I was exhausted when I left from singing, dancing, laughing... Great job everyone. Had a blast, the show was great, the bartender was amazing. Only thing that put me off is that the entertainers looked MISERABLE standing outside before the show. I would suggest acting happy to be there even if it’s boring before the show! But otherwise amazing! Great fun !

Have been going to Aqua for so long! Love all of the entertainers. They are the best we have seen. We always make it a point to hang with them when we are on the island. We actually had a private party for our wedding as an after party from our reception. About 70 or 80 of us went and had the most magical show we had ever seen. My fiancé and I went for the Thursday Night Late Show (9pm) and it was great. Faith Michaels was an amazing MC and all three performers (Maya Montana, Inga, and Faith) were hysterical. They made sure the entire room wanted to participate and was able to do so safely. This was one of the best Drag Shows we have ever been to and this was during COVID. They wore clear face covers for the entire show, all staff wore masks and guest were required to wear masks when they were not seated. I can’t say enough about the show and how much fun we had. If you are in Key West you have to go see them.

Very entertaining! Wife and I were strolling down Duval looking for a place to duck in. She was caught up in giggles watching one of the entertainers mess with me in an attempt to get us inside. They got us and let me say, this show was VERY entertaining! Great performers, great costumes, music, dancing, crowd interaction, etc. Had both of us in stomach pain from the laughter. Would highly recommend, $15 cover was a bargain for the hour and a half worth of top notch entertainment.

I never gave this a thought, but my significant other wanted to go. I’m glad she recommended it. Had a great time and would recommend anybody to check this out.

Decided to visit Aqua for a friends reunion night and had an absolute blast! Great seats (VIP totally worth it), great service, and great entertainment. The ladies were lovely and our server was on point! Definitely recommend if in the area! Will be back!

The place was nice and had a great night life/club vibe. The downfall was only seeing the same 3 girls all night. On their website they advertised 6 girls so not sure why we didnt see all 6. The show itself was OK. There were many times it was very boring and hated that everytime someone performed most of the time it was walking around trying to get tips, and I mean EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE! It began to get very annoying. 2 of the 3 girls performed very well and kept me entertained. They do not serve food which I also didnt like. Overall it was pretty raunchy and very inappropriate. One of the girls kept trying to put her hand up mens shorts and taking their clothes off. I probably would not recommend to go to this show.

If it werent for the bouncer being extremely rude, Id give this place a higher rating. The girls were amazing but the bouncers need to be trained in appropriate customer service skills. My husband and I had our first date night away from our 3 kids in a very long time before he leaves for 2 weeks. We arrived in time for the 9pm show and each paid a $15 cover charge. After walking inside, we looked around for a seat and a bouncer immediately came up behind us to tell us we needed to stand in the very front of the room to watch the show because no seats were available. Where he told us we needed to go was completely secluded and we couldnt even see the stage. We decided to grab drinks before finding a place to stand. While at the bar waiting to order, the same bouncer told us again we needed to go stand in the secluded area because we werent allowed to stand around the seats and that included at the bar. We literally had our chests to the bar and the place was far from packed. We werent in anyones way and we were being polite to everyone we spoke to while waiting. I even picked up something off of the floor that missed the trash can right in front of him. After getting our drinks, we did as we were told by the bouncer and went to the dark corner of the bar and attempted to enjoy the show by watching through frame of the smaller bar near the entrance. More people started pouring in and within minutes there was a crowd standing in front of us surrounding the people in chairs that we were told we werent allowed to be around and preventing us from watching the show. Im very disappointed with my experience. Ive been in Key West for a year and a half and Ive wanted to go to Aqua since day 1 here. I never expected to be treated like I didnt belong there or I wasnt welcome to enjoy my experience. Sadly, I wont be back.

If you think a drag queen show might be fun, this is the place for you! Sing along to songs and and prepare to be amazed by the beautiful and talented performers. We went at Christmas time and nearly died laughing at the bawdy versions of traditional Christmas carols. Bring a fistfull of dollars and a few friends for sequined, platform-heeled, sexy extravaganza you will never forget!

Horrible show. We walked out after an hour. All lip singing and just walked around begging for money. Each performer came out individually and just moved their lips to 80 songs. Each performer walked around with what looked like a butterfly net as they pretend to sing and wanted money. Ive been to others and it was more entertaining and funny!

We had never been to a drag show and had no idea what to expect but everyone said we should go....so we did. We had such a good time! The Aquanettes were full of fun and personality. Our show was, Faith, Inga and Maya.The bartenders also put on a show, they are dueling (singing) and their voices are fantastic!

Aqua was my favorite club when I lived in Key West! Great shows, staff and fun. Unsurpassed community spirit and support as well. Aqua Idol is a must to showcase all the fantastic talent. Many wonderful memories over the years. Thanks for the love Inga and the girls.

It was a bit of fun, but just like half the patrons, we left after about an hour - it just gets boring and repetitive. There were three drag performers the night we were there, the performers spent a few minutes (some a lot less) on stage and then spent the bulk of their time walking around collecting tips - we tipped but as we were sitting at a high top bar, the performers just came up took the money, didnt say thank-you or engage - we donated. The waiter also expected tips over and above the drink tips given, telling us his titt**s were real - we donated. It was okay, but $15 per person was a bit much for the disapointing show, very little live talk or comedy interludes.

My 22 year old daughter and I (female age 60) were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drag show. Great costumes, lots of audience participation and funny songs. Great show. Do not go to 801.... just go to this one. Well worth it. These girls could make it on Ru Pauls drag race!

You MUST visit if youre in Key West! This was my first drag show experience, & I cant wait to go to another one!

I had two reservations and requested two VIP booths, which I tried to confirm by phone and Instagram but no one ever responded to me. When we arrived they said they only had one VIP booth for us. The rest of our party was told to sit at the bar and they would try to give them nearby seats. A woman cut in front of the entire line who was apparently friends with a woman who worked there. She and her friends were given the table next to our booth, instead of giving us that table. The drag queens were great. Bartender was great too. But highly unorganized and poor service to break up a bachelorette party of 8 in order to give your personal friends a nice table.

Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday at Aqua,,Maya Montana really made my night,,she was an amazing performer and took several pictures with me before during and after the show,,thank you,,be back soon!!

We had an overall great time but the entire thing ended with Sarah McLachlans Angel (In the Arms of an Angel)(the ASPCA song) which was a total mood killer. It was a nice performance and the queen on the silks did a great job but it was the longest performance of the night and seemed to go on forever. The show should have ended on the Beyonce act which was a 10/10 or literally with anything other than Angel. Drinks were good.

Entertainment is an understatement. I had so much fun signing! I didn’t mind tipping our QUEENS!However I did NOT like the fact that after spending an additional $200 and periodically tipping my waiter for drinks HE DECIDED TO FOLLOW ME OUT complaining that I didn’t tip him enough “20%”. He was bringing us so many drinks ones we didn’t EVER ask for. He got himself plenty of drinks also. & I was stuck with the bill!! Thanks Paul. 😑I would ONLY come back for the QUEENS! 👑👑

I had a chance on the second to last night of a business trip to check out Aqua. As a New York City native who has seen the come up of some of todays biggest drag stars, I can be a bit of a drag snob. I wasnt expecting to be impressed for my $15 cover. I was COMPLETELY blown away by Aqua. From the waitress who found us great bar seats to the bartender who kept the drinks strong, delicious and made conversation in between acts to the phenomenal talent on the stage. A huge standout for me was Beatrix Dixie who I stalked out on Facebook and Instagram before I even left the bar. Beatrix hosted and showed humor, FABULOUS costumes (my fave included a shawl made of stuffed animal flamingos!) incredible dancing and flawless lip-syncs! I cant wait until she makes it on Ru Pauls Drag Race and I can say I saw her when...The only downside I saw to Aqua was the crowd control...there were groups of drunk people who kept standing in our way blocking us even though we got there early to secure seats. The crowd had to be asked to move several times by waitresses, bartenders and patrons with little to no avail. A proper bouncer would do this hot spot a bit of good... however, even with that minor annoyance the show was phenomenal and I will be certain to visit every time I am in Key West for business or pleasure.

WARNING- This is NOT a Drag Queen show but a continuous display of performers walking around the room attempting to collect tips rather than performing on stage. Even with them walking around their lip-syncing leaves a lot to be desired. They appear to be more interested in the tips rather than their performance. As a person who has seen other drag queen shows this is quite simply an insult to those performers that truly take an interest in making the evening an enjoyable experience instead of padding their pockets. Thus if you are interested in watching someone pass a collection plate all evening do yourself a favor and go to church. Boring is Boring.

Aqua was a blast. The ladies do a fantastic job entertaining the crowd and involving everyone. You can see they take alot of pride in their costumes, make-up and performances. I highly recommend you going to a show, its a must be there experience. Paul the server is also fantastic. He is always there when you need a beverage amd checking up on you.So grab your singles and all your friends and get to Aqua for a memorable experience. Leave those inhibitions at the door and enjoy this fantastic, fun and memorable experience you will talk about for years to come.

Took the family to their first drag show ever. Being a proud fun lesbian myself, I wanted to expose them to a little bit of fun out in Key West. Overall the show had great dancing and entertainment but one of the Queens crossed the line with my sisters fiance. The big one with blonde hair. She grabbed his Penis. I have never been to a show that did that. There is a difference between having a little fun and violating people. Not only did we have a bad experience but has tainted their perception of drag shows. Dont recommend unless you want to be violated.

Absolutely a fun time to be had here. Very entertaining and the drinks were delicious. If you want to have a good time later in the night I highly recommend coming here. The drag show was a first for me and it exceeded any expectations I had. Visit this place and you wont be disappointed.

Lip syncing was awful but two of the performers at least tried albeit sub par . The heavyset performer was beyond awful. Def waste of money and time

Saw the drag show on a Sunday night at 9pm. Probably one of the worst shows Ive seen. The queens were stunning but the entertainment was very lacking. Paid $15 cover charge + drinks to watch three drags queens walk around and collect tips. Each queen did 3 songs in the same outfit. There was one sorta funny queen that did a Gold Finger gag tonight that was funny for the first few minutes and then kept milking it walking around collecting tips until I got bored and stopped paying attention.Torally boring. Stop charging cover to watch boring beauties walk around snatching dollars.

My partner and I had the time of our life last night at the Aqua Bar Night Club!! It was my 51st birthday and he took me here for some adult entertainment and I got to say that the girls were beautiful drag queens and they made us feel comfortable and at home.

Great experience, super fun! Bartender out back, Rick, was cool. The server (Rebecca) was super cool and pretty hot! All of the Queens are a ton of fun, extremely interactive and wild!! If you have a bad time here, youre a bad person.

Nice place but it could be better with very little effort. The shows are the best part, super charismatic and funny. The drag queens are super talented. You should stop there for a drink one of these nights!

Very disappointed in the fact that the drag queens spent more time walking around collecting money than performing . I understand that’s how they make their living and I’m a generous tipper , however, the tips should be earned though entertaining the crowd. Finish the performance then collect. Queens wouldn’t do this for a local crowd it just taking advantage of tourists .

Always a 5 star experience and this last show was the best we have seen. Great job!

The show was decent. It seemed like it went on forever though. It was such a huge money grab during the show with incessant reminders to tip. Id would of enjoyed it more with more variety to the show and if it ended a bit sooner. 2+ hours of the same schtick was too much and we left early.

What a wonderfully fun evening! The team who greeted us, our waiter and the performers were all fantastic! This place is a must visit!!! We will be back!

FIRST TIMER . I really enjoyed it . Was skeptical about going because I always heard Queens od on the cursing but it was light fun and entertaining. Would definitely recommend to attend . And my server Jess was pretty cool melt making sure our glasses didnt stay empty

One of the worst drag shows I’ve been too, only one was good, they just walk around begging for money, they don’t even dance, one did dance but other then that they should take some tips from aunt Mary pat!! My sisters eyes were rolling she was dying of boredom

The drag show was amazing! Be warned, they dont sell food there so if youre going for the 9pm show make sure you eat dinner before or youll have to dip out early due to starvation!

We had a blast. $20 cover plus drinks and tips for entertainers. Super fun but be prepared the content is not rated G and the guys may receive a bit of special attention.

It took 5 years to go see this show! Let me tell you if you are in Key West Go SEE THE SHOW! This was so fun and the drink prices are probably the cheapest you will ever see! The Aquaneets will walk and dance around the whole place. They work for tips and no one forces you to tip if you feel uncomfortable. By time 30 min go by you are so into the show you will want it to continue on. Guess what people the must end! GO TO AQUA IM GLAD MY WIFE AND I DID!

I would have to say probably the worst night of our trip. The show was awesome and the queens were great, but the staff could use some help. We refused an advance by the waiter and everything from then on went down hill. The cops they called to justify why they kicked us out after they made our drinks wrong the second time, but when the cops took our side the manager got upset. the credit card he said they didnt have immediately was fraud charged twice but the bank didnt seem to take their side. Imagine that!! Funny thing is a charge came through while their manager and the cops were standing there. Wow vendor states that ccd was in hand but cop went inside and obtained card from bartender. Police Officer even looked at the manager who claimed they didnt have our card when charge came through and manager got quiet then 20 mins later produced the card, officer even told manager to shut up and go back to his club and released us and advised us to cancel the card because the club had a reputation of shady business. Officer name was SGT Jones and if contacted would gladly give badge number and phone number.

This was like probably my 3 rd time seeing a drag show first time in key west but my husbands first time ever. I thought we’d would be in there a few minutes and he would be ready to go but nope he laughed thought it was funny and entertaining as did I great job “Queens”

Super fun time. The bar staff was amazing and quick and the performers were all awesome, charismatic, spontaneous and funny. I was so happy that my group was able to go.

My wife and I were apprehensive at first, but once the show started we had a fantastic time. It is something everyone has to do at least once in their lifetime. Great show! A Key West Must See in my opinion.

Boring show, not a dead drop, split, wig reveal. The queens dresses are ok, but very little entertainment for a place that charges a cover (10 dollars). Very disappointed (and I am someone who tries to find a good side in everything).

Very first experience attending a drag show and it was a horrible one. Paid over $50 and could not see a thing. Too many people crowded and obstructing other’s view. Not worth the money. Could only see the back of other people’s heads or backs. Would definitely not recommend it.

Awsome night very funny and entertaining adult humor, queens where amazing and interact with you if invited, take plenty of singles as tipping the queens gets addictive! Our waitress was really nice, and all the staff where very friendly, would definately visit again!

The doorman was so rude to me when I didnt stay for the 11:00 show at 9:15. He said, Enjoy the rain. to my daughter and I. Never ever going back there. No reason to be mean to me.

Its not a true Key West trip without a visit to aqua. You will have the time of your life. When you call and make your reservation be sure to ask if Inga is going to be performing. If you catch a show that Inga is in you will laugh your ass off.The drink prices a little stiff, $12 apiece. I still give them a five star review though

Had fun at the show lastnight but they overcharged my credit card. I got 3 drinks and the tab was around $26 plus I tipped a couple dollars. I checked my account this morning and they charged $100 to my credit card. Will be filing a dispute on Monday.

My sister and I had the best time at this show. Very entertaining and energetic!! A must see for those that have yet to visit a drag show.

Go to La Te Da. These girls are horrible. They lip sinc and then go into the crowd for money and that is it. This is an awful show. If you want to see a professional, go to La Te Da.

Loved the bartender, great drinks and music. Drag show (Sunday night) was okay. Some were great but too much time spent watching them walk around with a net taking money.

Be gay for a moment! Aqua has a hot, enjoyable, fun & entertaining drag show designed to be enjoyable for every demographic. You will not leave offended but rather enlightened to the Drag culture. A lot of time, money, work and effort goes into an impersonators costumes and wardrobe. Be adventurous and be supportive of something you will undoubtedly enjoy. Bridal Parties ALWAYS Welcome!
