We had the antipasti board (charcuterie), and it was great! Karaoke was fun too. Not too crowded on a Friday night. New regulars!

Went there now that it’s called Kingwood Neapolitan Kitchen because I wanted to try the “wood-fired pizzas” they advertise on the window. The staff were super friendly and accommodating for me with my 1-year old despite not having high chairs. The pizza was amazing and the waitress even offered to cut up the meatballs for my daughter. Definitely recommend!

Cool little place right as you come into Kingwood on 494 across the street from the Lowes. I heard the food was good here and I have to agree that it is. The burger was the bomb. The Philly cheesesteak was really good too. When here on Friday night and they had a DJ set up about 830 and play good music for the rest of the night. They pour stiff drinks here. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The crowd was well behaved. I didnt see any trouble at all. The owner even came over and talk to me and my party. He was a very cool guy. Ill definitely be back and make this one my regular hangouts.

Yesterday I went and stopped in and seen an amazing breakfast sandwich this lady was eating and I thought I would order a salad today the salad is delicious but they could have just said they dont have avocado, I definitely wouldnt serve this old avocado to anyone.... Other than that no complaints great service good drinks

So after seeing this place on bar rescue I must say Im totally disappointed. If this is a remodel from bar rescue well a 2 year old could have done a better job. And then too boot I ordered a soda and took 2 sips when I told the waitress it was flat. And she left it on the bill cause she said she didnt have a way to remove it. Well why should I pay for something thats not stellar. Easy. Dont return. Bye nico you wont see me again

Cool little place to listen to live music, have a drink with friends, and grab a bite. The staff were friendly and all the food options were great.

We love this spot for the great food, good drinks and the different activity nights like Singo Bingo and Karaoke! The staff is always friendly and the food quality is far above your average bar food. It’s so good to have a great local spot in Kingwood! Well done!

Very limited menu & very slow service.The A/C vents drip water on you so dont wear nice clothes.

Went for the Bar Rescue watch party. Decent looking upgrade from the old Nicos. Food was ok and service was a little on the slow side being the were more interested in watching themselves on tv. Ill give week another visit soon. Wife on other hand wasnt impressed.

Its obvious the bartenders HATE it there. Nicos has a very chill environment full of entertainment, amazing bartenders, and a phenomenal kitchen staff. This place was amazing! It was our first time visiting and we wanted some good food and a cold beer and thats exactly what we got. If I could eat a meal for the first time again over and over it would be here! I cant wait to keep coming back and I will forever have dreams about the tastiest pretzel I ordered!!

A dark bar, but has big screens TV on 4 walls. That.is the most lighting gets from. Staff were ok, but had to wait 35mi before anyone even acknowledged those only blk guy in place??? Not even a I will be with you in sec and she was standing arms length away behind bar talking to two guys drink... guess I wasnt that important.

First time there after the BIG makeover. Didnt see anything special. They serve food, but i havent tried anything yet. The drinks were still strong, and the bathrooms did not get the makeover.

We used to enjoy this place alot. The make over is really nice. Unfortunately the bartender working Saturday, July 6th was not at all friendly, never smiled and barely acknowledged us and acted very put out when we would ask her anything. We have experienced the same treatment from her when we had visited prior. This is a shame because the food is great. Definitely wont be going back if that person is working.

ProsReasonable prices for these days and the food is good. Staff was friendly and the place seemed clean. Karaoke was fun.ConsNo waitstaff, a bit on the small side, most bar tenders seemed inexperienced and the bar stock basic. Not a lot of choice. The karaoke was OK, but there was no indication for pitch so you had to know the song well to attempt.

Local dive with solid food and a good atmosphere. Had a few drinks and dinner here while waiting on a tow truck. Locals were nice and the potato soup and grilled cheese with bacon hit the spot.

Chef out shines again. My dtr and I tried the new pickle pizza and it was amazing. My other dtr wanted one of his amazing Pretzels with cinnamon and sugar he out did himself with a pretzel with honey butter and cinnamon dipping sauce. The whole group said it needs to be a menu item. Food is always amazing her with Chef George and Victoria gave us great bar service. Best bar and food in town hands down.Dont miss out!

Really enjoyed this place until today! Looking at my mobile banking, this place double billed my debit card. Once on 12/30 then again on 12/31 for different dollar amounts. After the holidays and being prior to next pay my bank account is suffering. So even if Nicos Restuarant corrects the situation the credit will not post my bank today in return we will NOT be eating today! This ruins any good food or good time! Would give negative 5 stars if I could!

This is some of the best food in houston. Dont be surprised by the outward appearance. Order anything on the menu and you will be pleasantly surprised. Fantastic food served piping hot and friendly staff to answer any questions you may have. I have been here multiple times and ordered lots of things on the menu and never been disappointed one time.

Had a great little farewell party for a friend and our drink server was exceptional. Made sure we had a really good time and he did not disappoint. We laughed and danced till closing time. 4 stars for the food it wasn’t that great but everything else was super!

Trucker friendly. Had a great time here, the bar does not have tap beer, but the bottled beer is kept ICE cold, and they even have a koozie for you to use while you drink. I ordered the habanero wings with blue cheese dipping sauce, and the wings were a good size and juicy. Very laid back atmosphere with plenty of screens to watch your game on. Loved it and hope to visit again sometime.

Pizza was amazing and surpassed by service. Very attentive, friendly, and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. First time going since we moved here 7 years ago. Clearly, weve been missing out. Will definitely go back!

I just had the Bacon jam burger with a side of onion rings. It was FANTASTIC. George came out from the kitchen to meet us. The bartender was very pleasant and very attentive. We will be back.

Found on Google looking for a place with a patio, it was a nice day. Got to the location an found out the patio is more of an outdoor smoking area, and ventured inside. No draft beers, but a good selection. Table visit from staff reminded us to check out the specials, so glad that they did. The food was amazing, come hungry. We were traveling through, wish it was closer.

This was our first time here and it was great! The bartender was friendly and she greeted almost everyone by name as they walked in. She was busy but had a smile and focused on each person while taking their orders. We ordered the tacos which were really good, and the nachos which were probably the best Ive ever tasted! Will definitely be back.

Overpriced and overrated all the way around.... pasta was so oily my gf and I both got sick. Definitely not going back anytime soon, only good thing about that place was the karaoke jockey Chris.

Found this place and went in on a weekday, had lunch with my husband and best friend, great food and the lady that was there was super nice and took great care of us! So we wanted to go back and enjoy a date night without kids on the weekend. So last night we decided to go, it wasnt busy at all we walked in sat down at the bar and NO ONE said hi or welcome or anything to us! There was 4 bartenders there and we were never ask what we wanted to order. They all just ran around talking to each other and a few of Im sure regular customers, no one ever made eye contact with us. We sat there for about 10 to 15 minutes then a man came in from outside and one of the bartenders looked right at him (he was standing right next to me) and she asked what would you like and fixed his drink right then. Then went back to ignoring me and my husband. I have never been anywhere that did this we felt unwelcome so we took our money and left and probably will never go back again. So disappointed we thought we found our new hang out but I was wrong.

These people! Kept ignoring us when we went to the bar, the girls were too busy talking with friends. Then the guy bartender forgot to put in our food. then they charged us a random 40.00 over the tab and tip. That is stealing! Do not give these people your card they will steal from u!

Really wish the bartenders were better. Not sure why 2 girls cant serve 15 people sitting around the bar. It took almost ten minutes to get served a few nights ago, and thats not the first time weve had that problem there. I guess only the the regulars count.Super clean. Good food. Picky bartenders.

Tried coming here and was completely ignored. No, one came to our table, so didnt try the food and wasnt offered any drinks. So, we left and went to Dennys.

It was good! Was alot of food and had all new chef created meals. Nice atmosphere. Casual but cozy.

We just moved to Texas and we have been looking for a nice friendly bar.We found it... Nicos was excellent!!!Angela, the Bartender, treated us like we were family.Great Great Place.We tried the Nachos... they were off the hook great.If you are looking for a great bar that offers NO SMOKING. This is a great place! A really fun neighborhood bar with good food, great live music and somewhere where everybody knows your name.The day bartender, Angela is fantastic and makes dropping by for lunch or afternoon drinks something to really look forward to. Keep up the good work!

Nicos is a clean bar. The bartenders are very nice and attentive. The food is the usual bar food, but it wad very good. I had the Ladys Delight sandwich. It was really good and had lots of fresh avocados on it. The only downside is that they dont have draught beer. They did have a good selection of bottled beer. We will return again.

This was a terrible experience!!!!!! Christina was very rude and gave terrible service... I frequent many bars across the United States and over seas and have never received service of this magnitude.... I hope something is done about this. Its sad that I was here last night and had a great time plus great service, and no Christina was not on shift... GET RID OF HER!!! Love the nachos. The burger was great. Service was quick and very friendly. Every one should stop on by and try. Only down side is the kitchen is only open at certain times. So plan ahead.

Normally a great bar if you can get the bartenders off their cell phone, bar back had to get the the first round after that and after 15 minutes of watching the bar tender on her her phone and the bar back was busy I couldnt get another drink. 10-6-16. And was very confrontational when she realized a customer was needing something, so I left. But I will return for the normal good service.

I want to say thank you to the bartender that sat in the bathroom with me while my friend was having an allergic reaction and quit breathing while waiting on an ambulance. She went above and beyond her job. We had an awesome time prior to that situation. Nicos has always been one of my favorites and will always be. Thanks again!

Its our neighborhood bar, close to home, we go there once a while to have a wine or two. Its a place with great music, just enough loud to be able to have a conversation with friends.We love the place!!!

This place is very outdated and sketchy, not to mention theivery is afoot. Accidently walked my 2 beer tab last night and left my wallet. When arriving to receive wallet Im told I walked it so like anyone whos told that I offered to pay. She said no thanks I already tried running the card from your wallet last night and only got like 4 bucks. Get my wallet back and $180 in amazon gift cards are missing and my account is -$120 from charges. I enjoyed the part where, none of it.

Old and unimpressive bar with rude female wait staff and older drunk-in-the-middle-of-the-afternoon patrons. Terrible service (if we could get it) and a very unfriendly vibe. Dont waste your time, go to Mollys or somewhere else.

I really like the salad and mexican pizza but the service is not very good. The bartenders stand around and talk to other people while you are standing there waiting for service. One time, it took about 6 to 7 minutes.

Im not a fan of hamburgers so believe me when I say this that the hamburgers here are the best thing I have ever eaten!!!!!! I would have given it 5 stars, but the menu is limited during the week and the waitresses arent familiar with the menu... just the alcohol.

I asked for beef nachos with no peppers. Delivered with a pile of peppers on top. They took them off, but by then everything else was cold. This isnt typical,, but nonetheless, disappointed..No itemized check, so didnt really know what cost what.

In a nutshell I still dont know where the 1 star rating came from last year. Yes it was my phone but several people had access to it. So after setting the record straight with the owner of Nicos today, I decided to go back and really give this establishment a 5 star rating only because I feel that It deserves it. This bar is one of the nicest in Kingwood. I used to work here and dont have complaints about the service or staff. And no Im not being intimidated! Lol.

The few times that I have gone, the service had been flag them down even though theres only about 5 people at the bar. The bartenders are usually on their phones or chilling with a customer. Also, the cook is always coming out of the kitchen taking shots several times during the hour or two that I was there.

The bartenters were great. Had a burger and rings that were great, just like Angela said they would. My only recommendation would be for draft beer or a few craft beers.

From a Visitor to Houstons view Nicos is fantastic. We feel like locals and the staff are so friendly. 10 out of 10 for Nicos from the Aussie travelers.

Best bands on a Saturday night in Kingwood

Went here because they serve food and are open until 2am. Website sucks no mention they stop serving food at 9pm. Also it was dead AF at 11pm me the bartender a bouncer and a drunk and that was it that was there. Went to Mollys down the street and the place was happening well for a Wednesday night compared to Nicos

They charge you for soda even though you dont order soda? And their reason is because you didnt ask. Bad place to go will not go back

Local watering hole, crowd is comprised of kingwoodites, pleasant, bar food available, barmaid are pleasant, pricing fair.

I enjoy most bars but this bar definitely needs Taps for at least a couple of brews. Sorry maybe too picky but I used to bartend.
