The Edge

This is such a fun place. The staff are friendly and the drag show was wonderful. Even the other customers were friendly. We met so many nice people during the night. The drinks were a little strong, but not so much that it affected the flavor. This is a great place with great people. For the reviews that criticized the door lady, she was not rude at all. As a matter of fact, I don’t think there was a single rude person in the entire building. We will definitely be back.

The Edge was absolutely Great. We went for the first time on Saturday June 5, 2021. Everyone was friendly and very welcoming. We went for the show and all the Ladies were Magnificent. I also would love to give John the bartender a huge shout out. He personally helped me with a chair to sit on for during the show. John I can’t Thank you enough. You might think it was a small gesture but it wasn’t, it was a huge considerate gesture. If I couldn’t sit for the show and had to stand which I am unable to do, due to Medical Reasons I would of had to leave. Can’t wait to go back. Friendly clean enjoyable and Very Welcoming. Thank you to the whole staff at The Edge.

Who doesnt love deals on adult beverages, a good assortment of all things alcohol and tasty bar food?! Plus you can catch the amazing shows. Dinner and a show, drinks and dancing, perfect! Locally owned and loved. I love the people here and the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if youve not been.

Its neck and neck for the best wings in town. Great place, 10/10 for the wings and Barry does a great job as the cook. If you want your wings tender and juicy, tell bartender to Pull Up 2 minutes early if you want Fried Hard, dont tell them anything. Bot likes this place too and now with the right wing cook times its a 10/10 for me.Maybe one day they will feature Mac and cheese bites or Sweet potato fries 👀 anyone listening? Barry? Ira? Bot? 🙏👀

Everyone is friendly and the crowds are always pleasant. Anyone who seems otherwise just drew their eyebrows on a little to thick and sharp that day, they will still be polite to you if you say hello. They maintain a respectful atmosphere I suggest if visiting you keep it that way. Good food, better drinks, best company. Clean restrooms. Pool tables. Patio. The ladies are classy and the men are soft around the edges. The drag shows are to die for so TAKE SOME SINGLES FOR THE STAGE PRESENCES!!!! DONT JUST LOOK!!! just like you they will want just the tip... Cough cough... A tip. Dont forget to tip.

Super friendly bar with plenty of space to move around and mingle. Great drag shows and wonderful performers. Bartenders are nice and drinks are strong. Highly recommended for a good time!

Awesome spot, awesome staff. My wife and Ive been there so many times because they made us feel as welcome as anyone else and weve met so many special people in our lives. Dont forget to check the drink specials and stick around for the second show. Its worth it. ;)

I went with my best friend here. I wanted to take him somewhere hed be welcomed and came across this place online. Its a safe relaxing vibe. And this place is now my go to for wings. I brought my boyfriend so we could get some wings to go for our date night in. I made some life long friends here so thats a plus. Did I mention the wings are bomb

Just so readers know, this is a frequent LGBT bar. But even if you arent, the regulars are as friendly as the family dog. The staff tend to make drinks a bit stronger than usual, but theyre still good. If youre not here with friends, come for the Wednesday games or Thursday Hold em at 7:30 pm.

The guy at the front desk was the most rude person I have ever met. He told me I was loud and was just absolutely the most rude person. I have been there many times and never experienced this rudeness before. His name is pickle. I hate that he ruined the beginning of the night.I would expect some sort of apology or at least some sort of a way to diffuse the situation but he did not. He likely just made it worse when I left. Sadly this hurts business but he didn’t seem to care. I hope management can correct this situation.

The shows are back but its a shame because its still not drawing a big crowd. I know, many are still concerned over covid. And rightfully so. I was with a couple people who ordered chicken tenders and loved them. But four stars because when I go outside and sit on those aluminum chairs they usually break on me.

My first time visiting the night life of Knoxville was at The Edge. This was soon after the tragic Pulse shooting and my at the time partner and I had lost loved ones in that event. We had a trip organized to go home, assist with services, mourn with loved ones, etc. Before said trip we agreed to not allow fear to rule us and to go out. We visited The Edge and were shown unending love from the community and this establishment. It was compassion, sympathy, hugs, support, new friends, and I am forever and always so thankful for this place.

Would not suggest going here on a Sunday. Ira (eye-rah) however you spell it. The male bartender was extremely rude. I asked for a vodka, water, with a splash of cran. He rudely asked me “vodka water with a vodka cran” I repeated myself because maybe he didn’t hear me with the mask. So he made the drink I asked for and also rudely asked if I wanted to start a tab or not. I did ask to start a tab because maybe he was just in a mood. Well I saw him joking and laughing with bar regulars, or I think they were??? but I decided to leave because his attitude was horrendous. I went 3 nights in a row and was greeted nicely by every bartender. I suggest getting rid of this outdated queen. When I asked for my tab he slammed my card with my receipt on the counter and walked away with no “thanks” or “come again” he was terrible and I would not visit this bar again because of him.

The only performance worth the money paid to get in was, Raven Vonroe. The rest was absolutely terrible. Then paying guests gave their seats to us and even tho they were obviously paid for and given to us. We were forced to get out of the seats and stand. They were completely rude during the whole show. I wouldnt ever go here again or even recommend it to anyone. They got one star cause thats as low as I can go.

Gave one star because you couldn’t put zero. Staff was rude. Show was terrible. Someone got up and gave us their seats, then the staff told us to get out. The only good performer in the entire show was Raven Von Roe. The guy that goes by “alright” was entirely rude. Do not recommend going when he’s there.

Great bar, however, Xena the door hostess if shes even worthy of that title. Shes a very bitter person who is very very rude and you can tell she doesnt even want to be here. Shes ruins the whole atmosphere. Dont waste your time and come here. XENA the ass princess will ruin it.

Always welcoming! John Snow treats us like family. Trivia on Tuesdays with Howie is awesome! Loads of selection behind the bar. Glad to know a neighborhood bar has everything we look for, and feels like home.

Wasn’t even able to get in with 2 people in front of us lol. Dude was rude as hell and told us to shut the door while he was checking others in. A few reviews said they’re racist which yeah I kinda believe because he didn’t stop staring at our friend who is black. Took so long we decided we had seen enough and it wasn’t worth going in 🤷🏻‍♀️

I used to like The Edge but I had my bag searched because someone lost a little black purse. I let them because I didnt want to seem guilty for the rest of the night because my friend was performing. But boo on searching peoples purses.

Great place to have fun. Very accepting. The bartenders are awesome. There are a lot of alternative shows, like burlesque.

I had my Birthday party there last year and it was AWESOME, love the food especially the pizzas, the atmosphere was great, the bartenders are great and we had so much fun
