Probably one the best massages Ive ever had and for such a great price. The early bird/happy hour 10am-1pm special is fantastic. I got a Combination 90min massage and I loved it. I would go back just for the hand and foot portion of the massage.

My therapist was excellent. Location was clean. Pricing very good. I am.a massage person, good for 2 to 3 per month. This was one of the better massages that I have received.

Someone I met at a Spa told me, If you want a really good massage at a great price you have to try Tranquility. So, I decided to give them a try and I must say it was definitely worth the drive to Cukver City. I had a 90 minutes combo massage. The woman walked on my back and limbs with just the right pressure and then finished with a relaxing strokes. I think I heard myself snore lol Im going to make this my new place to go when I dont want a total Spa experience. The only con was they dont have designated parking, you have to park on the street (metered parking).

Ive been a loyal client of Tranquility for seven years, and every visit has been nothing short of spectacular. Every masseuse has magic hands, and I consistently leave feeling like Im floating on a cloud. For those seeking a deep massage, they offer the unique experience of walking on you - which I highly recommend! My personal favorites are the Thai and deep tissue massages, but the hot stone massage is also a treat. The pricing is just the icing on the cake. Dont miss out on this gem. Highly recommend!

This place is the best…especially for a firm massage! In 5 years I’ve had many, many outstanding massages here and only a one or two average ones. For years I got the combination massage but recently started requesting deep tissue and will never go back. They offer the option to walk on your back which I highly recommend if you’re tolerant of firm pressure. They never fail to improve or completely resolve my muscle tightness and discomfort. Drink lots of water after! I love you tranquility!

I got the combo massage for an hour. It was great. I really needed some deep tissue work and I got it. My only gripe is the suggested tip signage at the front desk. They suggest more than a third of the price of the service. I don’t think that is reasonable. I felt very pressured with the sign there. Although, I was pleased with my massage, I think a tip that is nearly half of the price is a reach. On top of the sign right in your face. The tip should really be at the client discretion and should not be expected. I didn’t ask for any extras and I don’t feel that I got anything extra from the service. I hope they keep the quality and demeanor exactly the same for all paying customers whether they tip more/less than what they are obviously expecting. This is the only thing to prevent me from returning and becoming a regular.

Been going for a while and the massages and prices were good. But recently I got a terrible massage, not even worth the time, let alone the money. I chocked it up bad luck, but when I got to the front desk and paid for me and my partners massage, the front desk person made a huge deal that I didnt tip enough and I needed to tip more. Once my partner got out, she went at it again about the tip and wouldnt leave it alone.Will not be going back.

I used to go here all the time when Patty was working here. Best massages I had ever gotten as she went slow, and whenever she felt a knot, she would work at it until it was gone. One of those massages that made you feel cared for.Unfortunately, Patty is no longer there, but this spa is amazing. Only wish they had a customer loyalty program.

Always a great experience, easy to get appointments the day before, and good value. They always ask where youd like to focus while still giving a great full body experience. Love the stretching as well. Hard to get at other spas.

Just had a most wonderful experience with my massage today. Had a physically demanding week of work, so I was feeling really sore and worn out. Chose the combination massage, which was part thai, part swedish, and I feel restored! Great price, got an appointment right away, and am looking forward to going back.

I dont get massages too often, but the ones I have gotten in the past were too soft and not enough pressure. That is not true about this place! Definitely the best massage Ive ever had. The pressure was perfect (I prefer hard) and I was so relaxed afterward. The prices are also super reasonable. Will definitely be coming back!

Amazing massage for an amazing value! Hadnt had a massage in over 6 months and was feeling a lot of pain in my shoulders. Id been extremely stiff. It is now 2 days since my 1 hour long full body combo (swedish/thai) massage and I feel so much better. Highly recommend.

I have been here many times, and I tip in cash 25-30 dollars for an hour treatment.My appointment was at 1:45.I arrived on time and was shown to my room. The woman left while I undressed.. and did not return for 10min at 1:58, I got dressed and walked out to the front desk. Where I saw the woman chatting with a co-worker. When I asked her is she forgot about me she just shrugged her shoulders.She walked me back to my room, we started the massage 15min late. And when I asked her to focus on my neck and shoulders. She said “ No” with an attitude and said she would get to it when she was ready. This is not how I would like to be treated while trying to relax during a massage.

I scheduled a massage for myself & my partner same day and their availability was great. Massage was good. Unfortunately, they forced me to tip 40% which is absurd, and a bait and switch for the lower hourly price advertised.

My husband and I are here on vacation and decided to go for massages during the early bird special. I get massages regularly and like alot of pressure, so I went for the Thai massage. He had never had one before, so he chose the Swedish massage. We both agree we had amazing experiences. My shoulders and hips feel so much better. One of the best massages Ive ever had! Place is clean and employees are very nice. Would be coming here regularly if I lived in the area.

I like this place. I just wish they had an ability to schedule massages on their website or by an app so I dont have to call ahead as they are regularly very busy.

This is hands down the best Thai massage spa I’ve been to (and I’ve been to so many!). As a body worker myself (and yoga therapist) I can be very critical when receiving body work. Tina is my favorite therapist but really all the others are great as well. The staff is friendly - just an amazing service provider.

My favorite new place for a massage. If you pay cash they offer a discount. Plus, they have a tipping range for 60-90-120 min massages. Street parking available and they put more money for you in the meter too.♥️

[2023 update] Guys - even after 2 years this place is still amazing. My husband and I did a quick trip to LA this month and even though we were only in town for 1 night we made a point to visit Tranquility. Tina and Tisha still work there - they are my favorite masseuses!- - - - - - - -I am so glad I decided to come here after reading the Google reviews. Initially I got a massage for my husband’s birthday, and he had such a great experience we decided to buy a pack of 10 (you get the 11th hour/apt free). It has been AMAZING for each of us to go each week for an hour. Usually we get the Swedish/Thai combo.All of the ladies so far have been extremely professional and attentive, and they are great about checking in to make sure the pressure is ok. This will be our fifth weekend back in a row! The place is relatively quiet although you will hear a bit of noise when newcomers enter for their appointments, but for the most part the other patrons are also respectful and don’t talk loudly. The rooms are simple and small, with a place to hang your stuff. And it is evident that they take cleanliness seriously- always clean sheets and towels, and you can hear them changing all linens and spraying down the room once someone leaves. Plus, when you let them know where you park at the meter they go out and drop in a coin at the hour mark to make sure your car doesn’t get towed!! All in all, a wonderful gem in Culver City.

Just got a deep tissue massage, where they walk on your back and legs and do medium to hard pressure. That was some of the best work i’ve experienced and for a fair price. i feel lighter & i am excited to try some of the other options!!

I like the service and the ambiance of this place. Clean, soothing music, and hot green tea. Staff are warm and friendly. You get a full body massage of your choice. They value every clients privacy by providing an individual room per client, per session. Warm and clean towels are also provided. They provide a shelf & hooks for your belongings. They will adjust the pressure according to your preference. They use good smelling essential oils as well. I will definitely go back.

I work out often, so a good weekly massage is vital to my physical maintenance.I had a chance to visit Tranquility body spa. I got the deep tissue massage it was the best I hightly recommend.The staffs was professional and friendly. The place is very nice and clean. Very professional, clean, and excellent service. Cat was my masseuse, she was very attentive, friendly, and best of all she provided an amazing massage! My body was very tight from sports and lack of stretching, she did a great job with the amount of pressure and force she used, she was adequately gentle and made adjustments as needed or requested. The early bird discount was a great bonus.

Great little place. Had my first massage since the pandemic started and will definitely be back. Word to the wise about parking - the meters on the close side of the cross street are one hour only, but the ones on the other side are two hours.

Ive tried several places in the Palms/Culver neighborhood. Tranquility Body SPA is consistently good. They have a good team of masseuses who can do a variety of different types of massages. Ive enjoyed a hybrid/combo of Thai & Swedish style here. The rooms are quiet, with a door separating the front waiting area so you wont hear the phone ring etc like many other places. Street parking only, make sure to feed your meter appropriately.

Great place, great massage.They raised the prices by 15$ since 2 years ago which is pretty insane.Too bad I used to go a lot.I will have to halve my frequency.

Such a hit or miss. Ive had a good massage here before, unfortunately more often than not, the masseuse only knows a few basic unsatisfying moves. Ive left feeling very disappointed - a waste of time and money. They need to hire properly trained staff or offer a discount for the inexperienced newbies. I shouldnt be expected to pay full price for someone that was trained last week in the back room.. I gave 2 stars because, dispite the poor massage technique, the staff is always very nice and friendly.

If you want an amazing massage this is your place. Its not a spa type place where they offer a buncha services - they do massages and they do them excellently. Seriously mightve been the best massage Ive ever had.

Very well run no frills Thai / Swedish massage spa. Sometimes it got a bit noisy with sounds from the back room but the massage was so good, I actually tuned it out. I felt the way you are supposed to feel after a massage which is zen like.

Awe man I get lots of massages and for years I avoided Thai massage after a kinda sub par experience. I just had a deep tissue/Thai massage hear and it was on point. I have a lot of pain in my hips and low back and most masseuse are too timid to dig in there (there being my gluteus maximums) My masseuse used a combination of stretching and massage that made such a difference. Now mind you they will get in there and dig away so if your a bit shy get over it. They give discounts for cash and also mid week early bird discount as well. Very nice people, the parlor is a little more casual/family atmosphere so maybe do go hear of your looking for the fancy day spa feel but for solid massage and body work.

Havent even been for a massage yet but their phone call etiquette leaves a lot to desired. I called about making an appointment, I was quickly shut down and told they wouldnt have any spots available until later that day so I was about to ask if I could make a reservation and the receptionist just hung up. I guess it walk ins only?

I am so glad I found this place. It is walking distance from my place and Tina is amazing. She is a small little woman with a lot of strength. I told her I need a lot of pressure and usually other places cannot provide the pressure I need. Tina was great and I plan to go back regularly to de-stress!

Massage was just ok. Place is always booked so I kept trying and agreed to 45 minutes. They, however, were unwilling to charge for 45 mins and insisted on the full rate.

I really like this place. The ambiance is simple and the service is great. However, I cannot give them the five stars because they do not answer the phone. I have to drop by to get an appointment. Often times they are booked and the trip there is pointless. 🤷🏻‍♀️✌🏾😎
