Visiting Louisville for a professional conference and stopped by for happy hour. Bartender was very friendly and welcoming (as were the patrons). Exceptionally clean and well cared for including the restrooms. Highly recommended!

Cut bar. Friends meeting up. The front bar was the best. The inside bar made me feel unwanted. The Peach Bourbon margarita was not good. Peach was all most to much.

We were in from out of town so I called ahead to check the vibe before heading over. David was so helpful and welcoming. He and his husband both made the effort to come to our table once we arrived to welcome us and recommend some other Louisville hot spots while we were in town. Great drinks and a fun time in the open air patio bar.

I have always had a great experience at chill bar. The staff is very friendly , the crowd is also friendly and will talk to you . the owners have done a great job with this bar. Their drink prices are very reasonable, unlike play dance bar. Best gay bar in Louisville , highly recommended

Ive always had a good time here with friends. Its a small bar but one with heart. They make some good mixed drinks and theres usually dancing. Good friends and good stories. Got offered free jello shots once here on my birthday from a guy in leather with his dom. Good times.

The best bar in town by far. The owners are so kind and they really know how to make the best drinks. This is actually my favorite bar. Im very straight and yet I feel so comfortable here. So much diversity and just happiness goes into this bar.

I moved to Louisville from Knoxville, TN in March of 2020 as the shut downs began. My job shifted online, and has remained online. Recently Ive been missing my friends, and I havent made a friend group here. At the suggestion of a friend I came out for karaoke and then came back the next night night for RuPauls Drag Race. Its such a great mix of friendly people. The people working have been very nice. The drinks are excellent and and well priced. There are several areas in the bar for seating, standing, and dancing. Im originally from Ashland, KY, and Ive moved twice now in the past 5 years. I never felt this welcome and mix of people when I moved to Knoxville for my PhD. I shouldve been going to Chill Bar all along, but as many of them told me, apparently when you live in Middletown like I do its easy to get stuck in a rut 🤦‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️. Thanks for making me feel so welcome. I highly recommend this bar. They have so many fun events and a strong sense of community.

I was recently at Chill bar with several of my friends sitting at the outside bar during Indigenous People’s Day weekend. One of my friends was redirected by third party security to sit down while drinking. After he did so our drinks were given to us but required for each person to tilt the mini champagne bottle into the glass. My friend stood up again to do that so his drink would not spill over & the same security guard rushed over and began to yell at him. Then the same security guard yelled at another friend of mine that was trying to explain the complicated drink situation. Luckily my favorite bartender Richard immediately came over to rectify the situation & dismiss the security guard. Richard then apologized for his barbaric behavior & proceeded to take care of us. This is the first negative experience I’ve had at this bar but I do understand that security doesn’t regularly work here but I do think that security could be more trained & versed on how to approach situations that aren’t life threatening. We’re living in dangerous times now. We should be more understanding instead of being so rigid when faced with adversity. I hope that more security at Chill Bar will learn from this incident for future reference.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! LOVED karaoke. They even sang my husband and my wedding song for our anniversary! We will definitely visit this place again!

Great time hanging out on the patio. Good atmosphere. Going to here for an event was a treat. The staff was great and attentive to all the needs of everyone in attendance.

I actually haven’t ever had the chance to explore Louisville’s nightlife untill today and after going from one gay bar to the other, I genuinly feel at home here. Just sat in the corner playing Pokémon go and browsing social apps while drinking the most delicious cocktail I have ever had 💕 thank you for finally making me not feel like a foreigner in this city.

Always have a good time here. No security knocking people out, and never a cover with good cocktails.

A nice and relaxing place with a nice patio where the young and old can sit, mingle, and solve the worlds problems. Did I mention that the happy hour prices are pretty good too? The staff is also nice... Want a relaxing place to go and meet nice people - this is the place.

Chill Bar is a friendly place. I like the fact its multi-spaced. There are 3 areas you can move between. Front patio, inside bar and back patio. There is a small dance floor inside. I also like the lighting.

I went with my sister because it looked like there were a few people outside. I saw the flags and as a woman loving women wanted to go in with my sister, but unfortunately our waiter was VERY rude to us EVERY time he came back to our table, which was only twice but how are you so rude BOTH times? We will never be returning
