I have been to many dancehall/clubs and this was the most HORRIBLE experience at one Ive ever had. I witnessed an older woman lie about someone touching her and had her husband and 5 other guys jump him for no reason. Pinned the innocent man down and punched him repeatedly when he did nothing wrong. Trash establishment with trash music and staff. Especially the older couple that caused all the commotion, white trash losers who need to get a life. DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to be harassed for no reason by staff.

I was falsely accused of multiple things. Get your staff in line. Do not recommend. Don’t go.

Too ladies kicked out my friends and I because they claimed one of them was too “intoxicated” and when I was washing my hands one of the ladies said I was washing my x off. It was very unprofessional because they held her by her neck towards the exit. They never let us explain ourselves and now we are banned for 2 weeks. Thank god because we are never going back again.

I got kicked out, I was under 21 so I had an X on my hands. Initially the “security personnel” decided they were going to escort me off the premises with no apparent reason. I was not being disruptive to the club go-ores or disrespectful to him. The x on my hands faded off as a result of multiple bathroom breaks. I understand he saw the faded x’s but he didn’t give me a chance to get my marking rewritten. Once I started to defend myself he told me I was being “argumentative”. The club itself is alright but the staff is a bit power trippy.

I had a really bad experience here. Whenever I walked in they took my ID and I paid 30 dollars. (I was with two other girl.) Then the manager came over an hour later claiming that I did not pay. They then yelled at me and cussed me out saying that I snuck in. Which is not true we can check the cameras. I was then told to get out or pay ten dollars again. Apparently at the front door the lady who took my ID DID NOT WORK THERE and was only “helping out”. They would not even allow me to talk to the lady who took my ID. Not the mention the lady who took my ID and was drinking while getting minors through the door.

The DJ is actually trash. How my high school band banquet have a better dj than this place

If I could give negative stars I would. I have years of experience working at multiple bars across Lubbock dealing with intoxicated individuals but yet this place had by far the worst employees at any establishment in Lubbock. Security and bartenders were as rude as can be, which explains my zero tips. I would ask a simple question can get an immense amount of attitude and defensive manner. Bartenders gave me incorrect change and refused to give me the correct change, which meant they basically stole money from me. Employees would be standing all over bars and not wipe them down, which is a health hazard. There was also an insane amount of intoxicated minors drinking the entire time. Overall, this establishment need serious help or needs to be shut down. Employees need to all be fired, have some sense beat into them, or have an increase in maturity. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I would need to be paid to drink to return.

I showed my 18 ID. The lady I with short black hair publicly screamed at me and called me profanities for no reason. She threatened cops, which did not scare me because I had committed no crime. Then continued to call me horrible things until my Uber picked me up. Do not recommend they are know for letting minors drink, but then scowling 18+ who show ID.

We used to love coming here especially when it first opened up. Good concert venue and atmosphere. However, it’s supposed to be a country bar and when I last came, the dj played 0 country songs after 10pm. Biggest dance floor in Lubbock, yet it’s seemingly not used for country dancing. We came for country dancing and there’s plenty of other places we could go to if we wanted “clubbing” music and stupid loud base music. They apparently do this Thursday’s and Friday’s, so Saturday’s are the only days to come for country dancing.

Came here last night for my bachelorette party with my girls. We were all having a blast until we came here and the door man let all of us in until he got to the last girl and accused her of being too intoxicated and wouldn’t let her in. She has a bubbly and goofy personality which I guess also means she’s drunk? Even though she really didn’t have all that much too drink. We were all just in really good moods as we should have been because we were celebrating. We all traveled to be able to have a good time for me and this dude ruined our night. It was truly ridiculous. Oh and he also checked all of our IDs at least 4 times as if they were fake. I understand it’s his job but the door man was extremely rude to all of us and acted as if we were bothering him. Next time I’m in Lubbock I will NOT be back. So shout out to the douche bag with little man syndrome on a power trip for ruining my night. Your a peach.

How can you call yourself Rodeo 4 when 80% of your music is hip hop and bachata? Your bouncers don’t regulate rules when I see drunk people crowding the dance floor with 4 beers in their hand. You let under age teenagers and give them wrist bands to drink in here “as long as they don’t cause trouble”?! You place just two bartenders for the biggest island bar and they’re getting swarmed and frustrated. I travel from San Antonio to come here and I’m very disappointed. Do better owner.

Its still has the new paint smell when you walk in. Its NO smoking allowed which is awesome!Open Thursday - Saturday night. Happy hour from 7 pm- 9pm.Very nice place to come for dancing and hanging out with friends without going home to wash the smoke out of your cloths.

Way to many people at the Cody Johnson concert then there should have been. There was absolutely no way to get relatively close to the stage. I will not be back for live music, the set up is miserable. Furthermore, even though I had purchased tickets prior to arrival I had to wait outside for over an hour and then evey bar line was at least 30 minutes long. This place seems to care more about profit then its customer service.

Don’t expect what is pictured, it’s dirty and everything is sticky! Upon entrance the staff was rude and unhelpful at best, drink orders forgotten on several occasions! I was carded and almost all I observed were, at the front area, towards the back of the building where concerts are held I watched several young women with the teen “X” being supplied by older goers, I lost all respect for the establishment at this moment I voiced my concern and shock to the manger and was told “ you can catch some but there’s always a few that sneak better than others”. Will not be back I pray underage drinking is taken ore serious charley bs

Tonight there was a bartender in a striped shirt. That’s my best rendition of who she is. Anyway, I got 1 beer a shiner that was I believe $4.50. She told me my card was declined so I checked my account on my phone though I know it’s impossible for me to get declined on that low of a charge. I told her to run it again and I’d pay with cash if it continued the issues. She didn’t run it again and insisted that it was declined. So my father in law who happened to be beside me paid with a 5. She threw my card at me and insisted that I don’t come to a bar if I don’t have money. So I went to the atm at charley bs and got 20 dollars cash back. Amazing how it was suddenly working. I gave the 20 dollar tip to her and asked her to reconsider who she assumes to be poor. I don’t come to a bar to be considered poor. I strongly advice you train your bartenders correctly in customer service.

Got off work around 10 and met up with my husband and friends. They were selling really cheap drinks and my husband tipped the bartender a 5 dollar bill which was way more then our drinks were even adding up to but he didnt have a tab so he was just paying in cash. He went back to get us refills and bartender said she refused to serve him because he wasnt tipping. Totally wrong and ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager, he knew exactly who I was talking about on which bartender and he said he would talk to her. He then goes over to her and tells her and they both start laughing. What the heck. Terrible service. Never wanna go here again!

This is a dance hall. Not a club. I go to listen to country music and dance. Not listen to rap songs and line dance to every other song. If I wanted to listen to rap I’d go to the east side.

We love this place. It is huge inside, tons of bars so not a long wait time for drinks. Staff is friendly but doesnt typically let the crowd get too crazy. Really great setup too!

Last night was the last straw for me. Normally I have a great time but last night was terrible from the start.When I first got there, I was questioned about my I.D. because in my picture I didnt have blond hair.Then as me and the people I was with were having a good time minding our own business, multiple staff came up and asked my boyfriend if he was okay and that he needed to stop drinking.After that, he was drinking water and still not causing any scene or doing anything stupid. I went to go get a shot for me and my friend along with a water. Well when I came back to the table the bouncers said my boyfriend needed to leave. He was than escorted out for no reason when he was respectful of there decision.Moral of the story is NEVER go to this place unless you want to be kicked out for no reason!!

Last night of 2018, my family and I decided on Charley Bs. If we wanted to sleep right through the count down we wouldve stayed home. And no, not that their count down into the new year was boring or lame, THERE WAS NO COUNT DOWN!!The band was on break at midnight which gave management ample time for count down. So Charley Bs did you notice the bar at 12:15ish? Damn near empty!

Pretty sure the bartender was dishonest with prices of drinks. i understand $10 minimum for cards but i got 2 drinks at $5 each and he still made me buy another drink after that to make it over $15.

Music was great last night until they kicked out the DJ for playing Latin music. Dance floor was empty after he left and the place was dead. Not even sure how they’re still in business.

Waited 30+ minutes at one of the smaller beer stands- bartenders are in no hurry to take your order or make drinks. When I finally got to the counter, the bartender walked away to take a shot with his friends who were standing off to the side. Paid $33 for 6 beers! Ridiculous! Went to another stand because the line was a little shorter, but wait time the same. This time, this bartender was obviously drunk and when I asked about the slow service, he told me I could go to another bar. Rude bartenders, overpriced drinks, and this establishment obviously lets them drink while on the job. Will not recommend this place or go back.

My name is Dakota Bradley, I dont have a account so Ill have to use my fathers... my husband and I went out to Charley Bs last night.... An this was our experience...They drew all over my hands which still wont come off, second it took FOREVER for my husband and friends to get any drink even though there was no one there... they just ignored them when they wanted a drink. An then at 1:20 right before they were about to close I came out of the bathroom to go back to my friends and husband by the pool tables and a guy came up An asked me to leave because I was drinking.... I came out and sat in front of my husbands beer which he just bought and hadnt even touched yet. I was nice and said I hadnt drank it, I just came out the bathroom and he said well I saw you do it, so you need to leave I was mad but they were about to close so I got up and walked out... but what made it even worse was that I was super nice but they had to bring EVERY guy working that night over to escort me out....

Love this place! Easy to get to and the owner is always very helpful if I have a question. Great drinks and seating and the dance floor is a good size.Always has something going on for his customers

Hardly ever play country music to dance to. Use to love to go on Thursday nights but the DJ sucks and they started charging for 21+. Wild West was so much better, such a shame.

I came from British Columbia to dance and enjoy and celebrate my birthday I had 1 beer and they cut me off from drinking I enjoyed the dance floor wish they played more country music

The dance floor has been dirty every time we have come. And the dj is less than accommodating to the type crowd that is trying to dance. If we wanted tejano music we would come on Wednesday.

Awful awful awful place. There’s no crowd control what so ever. The bouncers are very rude. Had to leave to take a phone call and he wouldn’t let me back in. It was an emergent phone call. That policy needs to change. There was a certain bar tender there that wasn’t exactly customer friendly. Not going back.

Great atmosphere, love the dance floor but would love to see more tejano music on a weekend night. Friday or Saturday. I go from time to time on Wednesday but have to be at work relatively early in the morning on Thursday or Id be out there more frequently. Would like to see this change in the very near future. I live on the same side of town where Charlie Bs is located but currently I have to drive clear across town to go dancing tejano on Friday and Saturdays.

I hate that old guy with the grey beard that works there, he had five guys pin me down and punch me in the face several times because i “touched his wife” which i have absolutely no idea about . Thanks

‪PSA! watch the bartenders!! my drink was laced last night, i had two chilton’s and after my second it was like i’d been drinking for hours. i don’t remember what happened after that. if i wouldn’t have had my guy friend with me, who knows what would’ve happened.‬

Don’t know how this place stays in business. Went there this past Saturday night, the place is dead with nobody dancing, also the band quits playing at 10:30. Not sure it’s worth the $10 Cover Charge.

Fire the DJ and I will give 5 stars.If we wanted rap music we would go somewhere else.Please fire him.Charley B’s is a country bar.Get a DJ who likes country music.Fire him fire him fire him.

Don’t come on a Friday, the DJ is terrible. Every other night is amazing, just don’t expect to hear country music or even a decent mix of songs on a Friday.

The DJ is a creep.Also, my friend and I each got one drink but they charged her twice for them.Wonder if they did that on purpose.

They play absolutely no country music!! The old dj played at least some! The new guy plays only rap and hip hop music.

Wish I could put lower than 1 star. Worst experience ever. Management wasnt prepared for Randy Rogers band. Waited 2 hours to pay out tab after giving up on getting a drink.

Great environment, good music, Excellent service that exceeds expectations. Very big size place I would recommend this pace for a night out.

Terrible! Used to love this place and it’s changed bc the DJs. There used to be songs for everyone 2 yrs ago, now it’s 4 slow dance songs for every 1 line-dance/hype songs. Bring back the fun, not songs run by old djs and unknown songs. Everyone just sits on the sidelines and it’s always the same 6 couples doing tricks, we get it you’re skilled.
