I love going there its been a while its been closed. Can anyone tell me why and when it will open again.

I went on Friday 8/25. It was extremely busy but I didn’t have to wait long at all. Went around 11pm and stayed till closing. Very packed but didn’t have to wait long for service either. I got my drinks from one bartender named Erika, she was super fast and at the end of the night knew my drink by memory, would hand it to me and just added it to my tab. Music was very good and service was amazing. Will be back thanks to Erika.

Had a blast last night with my boyfriend and friend! Great music, great atmosphere, and the staff were all super friendly. Will for sure come back to dance the night away!

This place has such good vibes, the bouncers are really sweet guys but also make sure everyone is safe. The music and lights make the whole experience so much fun. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be coming back. Make sure you get there before 11 or you will be in line for hours.

This place is awesome!!! Its small but worth being crowded while dancing! No charge to go in, just have to have your ID. You do have to pay for drinks of course but they are at fair prices. It is a arcade old school feel to it. It has awesome techno music that keeps you dancing no matter what!! It gets hot because of the crowd it brings in BUT whats dancing without a little sweat. You have a very random crowd that comes into Kongs but its a awesome one!!! The drinks and shots are awesome, the pricing is awesome, the music is awesome....its a great club in Lubbock!! If you like good beats and none stop dancing then Kongs is your place. :)

Definitely poppin’. My friend and I were passing through Lubbock and spent the night, we decided to check this place out. I was really surprised, from the music, lights, and drinks- it’s definitely the place to be. Staff is super friendly, and Shawna, the General Manager, even talked to us! Way cool experience, and wouldn’t mind having to “pass through” again.

Tbh this has to be the best club in Lbk. Yeah it’s a little small and gets crowded but the vibe and music makes up for it. I’ve been going every Friday and Saturday for the last 4 months and it just gets better. Yeah the music might be a little repetitive sometimes but from time to time they do play pretty good songs. The only thing I wish they would play a little more would be Raeggetton. I know it’s an EDM club but a little raegge wouldn’t hurt. But yeah make sure to go with friends cause it really gets wild in here. I always have glades and curly hair so if y’all see me there let’s take a shot!

Good lights on the inside, great bass system, kind of small and crowded, but that’s how I like it tbh, would not recommend if you have problems with epilepsygood club experience for mosh pits and colorful night out

Beware of the bartender adding her own tip to your bill. She was rude and barely paid attention to me. I purchase three separate drinks and crossed out the tip section and wrote the total dollar amounts ($4, $8, and $14) on the bottom line. Im looking at my credit card bill and each charge is a dollar higher than what I signed for ($5, $9, $15). Not a huge amount, but its still illegal and now I have to go out of my way to dispute the charges with my credit card company.The bouncers will also grab you while walking past you. I felt someone put both hands on either side of my waist from behind and pull me against them. I thought they were just trying to push me out of the way, but he held me against his body for a few seconds too long, so it was clearly intentional. When he let go, I turned around to see who was touching me without my consent and it was a bouncer who worked at the club.Aside from that, the club smelled gross and was over crowded. Ive been to overcrowded clubs out in Houston before, but this was ridiculous. You couldnt take a single step in any direction without stepping on someones toes. The music sucked, or at least the DJ that was there the night I went sucked. I get that its an EDM club, but playing half of one song and then turning the rest into electro-garbage was annoying after the first half hour of it. There were fog machines pumping constant humidity into the room, which was incredibly tiny. Me and my friend had to keep stepping outside to catch a clean breath because the inside was so badly ventilated.Me and my friend were so excited to see what the best nightclub in Lubbock had to offer. When we left I asked her, so now that youve seen what Kongs is like, would you come back? and she said no faster than Ive ever heard her make a decision before. Neither of us would return. This club sucks.

I love kongs! Been going there for awhile whenever my friends and I don’t know what to do we go there to vibe. The bartenders there are always so friendly and awesome. Savanah is always the person I go straight to! She’s always so creative and energetic and so sweet to her customers. :)

Super crowded. It’s only fun if you enjoy jumping up and down the whole night… no one actually dances? Also, everyone pushes, elbows you, and steps on your toes. Good luck :)

Kongs has definitely become home over the last few years. the atmosphere is positive and fun, the music is upbeat and makes everyone want to dance, and then theres the awesome arcade games! if you dont like to dance, you can play arcade classics all night. the drinks are cheap and the bartenders know what theyre doing, always friendly and giving excellent customer service. they have a regular bar and a cash only bar at the front entrance. the cash only bar serves delicious $5 frozen margaritas or daiquiris, depending on the day, and also they have $1 jell-o shots of all flavors! this place is wonderful, if you havent been, id definitely give it a shot this weekend!

Absolutely love this place, good vibes all the time, they drinks are great, the bar tenders are always awesome, the music will make you dance non stop, and the old arcade games take the icing on the cake. Its a bit on the small side but definitely the place to be on a night out.

Great music and light show. Some exceptional edm performers make things transcendent, at times.Did not appreciate the young blonde harridan in my face, though.Everyones taking pics and she decides that the older gentleman cannot be allowed to do so.

Probably the worst club I’ve been to. The music too loud, and the lights made me feel like I was gonna have a seizure. They also rip you off here. I asked for 2 beers and they gave me 1 beer and 2 fake shots.

It doesnt get really going before 10 PM but the edm / techno / house blend the DJ was spinning was badass.Had people shuffling, hoop dancing, and doing light shows all night.

Its small but the DJs are very diverse with the music and theres plenty of bartenders. Definitely will be a regular here.

Bartenders are rude, literally had the audacity to ask for my id and than look at it like it was fake. Ask a question and instead of helping me the bartender was rude for no reason. Will not be returning at all

Dz my favorite dj with him you will hear the fundamentals trance, techno, and he throw some other genres in there. Very cool place. Thanks for the good times bro.

If I can rate no stars I would this bartender really added a tip to my card the amount I paid for was 11.45 I tipped in cash! Never going back to this place

First time visitor. I love EDM... Best place in town for sure. You can feel the bass in your chest.

Great Edm atmosphere. They have arcade games and They have dollar wells on Wednesday. Best personal pitchers. Try a red raider!

The bartender, Savanna, was super nice and always double checking to see if my drinks were good and always has a smile in her face!!

Barterdener ordered me to tip and when I said no they tried kicking me out. If you’re going on i any bars in Lubbock go to main st all these bars are full of underage kids

Got charged for the wrong drinks, went back for it to fix my order, ended up getting charged twice. Never fixed. Was charged overall $30 for one $5 drink.

Would be better if it had free wifi like the blue light, but overall a fun place to hang out, with great music! :)
