Nice little spa with good services list that some other places don’t offer. You can book online easily. Plenty of parking up front. Google takes you to the wrong location across the street so be careful. The interior is cozy but not comforting like a spa needs to be. Its architecture is the issue - people are lovely and welcoming. I did a red light therapy and massage with Debra. She was excellent, don’t be fooled by her feeble look. They also have a sauna - perfect pick me up for dark cold days. The little store they have also is filled with fun and useful things and gifting items.

Awful experience. Rude , didnt get the massage I had to pay for. 30 min of a lady rubbing oil. Doing places o specifically didnt want and not what I did want . Too light in the room. The therapist didnt listen, asked invasive questions, snapped at me when I didnt put head where I was supposed to . A huge rip off. The owner/manager is rude I stopped the massage it was so bad, but still has to pay full price. There are soooo many better places in Madison. Follow up: I was In a bad place, they have been more than gracious . They refunded me and I am so grateful. They actually care about people. Thank you

I’m not quite sure I’d recommend this place. This was the first time my partner and I were getting massages. I had some difficulties booking the massage and private Japanese sauna. The masseuses didn’t know we had a sauna session booked after the massage, so we didn’t have robes or slippers. We had to get dressed back in our clothes before the sauna, which took time, and additionally, the front staff mentioned not having sufficient cleaning time in between services, and my partner and I had to be rushed to get out on time. Because of that, our time got cut pretty short. The masseuses were great at making me feel comfortable, but between the booking discrepancies and lack of coordination with the masseuses, I think I’d probably try Kneaded Relief or somewhere else in the future.

The sauna experience here is wonderful. The sauna is located inside a spacious, private suite that includes a shower with toiletries, towels, a body wrap to use while in the sauna and drinking water. Outside of the sauna, there is ample space to hang up clothing, bags, etc. on hooks and a bench. The sauna itself is huge and thoughtfully built with beautiful finishes. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

First time to Bergamot tonight & it will not be the last! After searching for a phenomenal deep tissue massage therapist for 4 years, I found one in Matt! He worked out all the aches & pains. He is AMAZING! I will definitely be back!

Jo was great. All the hot towels to help you relax, fantastic. Its a clean and calm space. No membership sales pitch before or after like happens at many other places. Will definitely go again!

I have had many massages here over the years and Bergamot Massage never disappoints. Seth and all of the therapists working at Bergamot are solely focusing on the needs of the client. Somehow Seth is able to find every place in which I hold tension and release it. A truly relaxing experience every time.

I absolutely LOVE their sauna (highly recommend getting a membership as unused sessions roll over to the next month) staff is always friendly, lots of products to browse through, peaceful environment that immediately calms me. A favorite spot - the nook

I received my first ever massage here last year. I was skeptical about whether Id find it enjoyable or relaxing, but decided to try it after experiencing some muscle soreness. My therapist, Megan, put me at ease right away and helped answer any questions I had. She was very attentive and thorough in massaging areas where I needed extra focus. Megan not only relieved some of my back/shoulder pain, but also identified a few other areas that I didnt even realize were causing me issues! I left feeling very relaxed and revitalized. Ive since been back to Bergamot twice and Im already looking forward to my next visit! Huge shoutout to the front desk staff and to Megan for making each experience a great one.

Consistent and reliable service. I’ve never had a bad massage here. The variety of treatments and scheduling availability make this one of my go to places for a great, relaxing massage.

Love this space -- it looks tiny on the outside but is so spacious inside -- Im always amazed at how much they fit into the space, including multiple massage rooms, a separate sauna space, and a sitting area with tea and merchandise. Everything here is so thoughtfully arranged, it might seem like a small thing, but having coat racks in every bathroom or changing area just makes it so much easier in the winter. And the bath products are so lovely to use. Super impressed that theyve been around for 5 years and everything still feels brand new -- indicates how much care they take in keeping things clean for everyone.

Have been a member here for a few years now and generally have a very good experience but all the best deep tissue therapists left throughout the pandemic and Id like to try one of the new people but its extremely hard to get in with them - you have to book months in advance.The spa has wonderful ambience though and the membership is a great deal. I also love the sauna. I hope I can find a new therapist I like and continue as a member.Update: I did recently have a good deep tissue massage with Karter!

Cant comment on their service since you have to wait over 2 months to even get an appointment. I got a gift card for this place and cant even use it.Edit, this company responded on a Sunday to my request for a quicker appointment for now I will change this review to a 4 star rating due to customer service. It will be a 5 star rating if I leave relaxed.

Do not bother going here on a Saturday morning due to the horrible parking situation. Drove around for 20 mins trying to find a place to park. And the staff seemed completely oblivious to the problem.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Atmosphere was great, everything is very nice and clean.Seth did an amazing job. Not only was the massage great, I felt like my body was understood and according to that pressure was applied in the right spots. Seth was very kind and personable. Staff was very friendly and helped me schedule future appointments.

This is the best place to go if youre looking to unwind and relax. Professional massages are just that. Professional. High end sauna room with a delightful shower makes for an amazing way to relax or recover. I recommend this place to everyone.

I had a sudden flare up of some bad neck and shoulder pain, and none of my usual home remedies were making any dent in the pain. Bergamot was able to get me a last minute appointment during Labor Day weekend. Karter was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. She was super attentive and skilled as well, and I left with my shoulder already feeling much better. I had the closest to a painless night as Ive had all week! Rates were reasonable, and the vibes were simple and relaxing. Thanks Karter and thanks Bergamot, will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful. I cant wait to go back. The Finnish sauna was exactly what I was hoping it would be: spacious, plenty hot, and very relaxing. The schedule fills up fast, so plan ahead.

The inside was very nice and calming, and the rooms were big and comfortable. They give you shoes to wear which I thought was a little silly but not a big deal. I dont know if its just because I got a scented massage but they gave me a hot towel at the end to use and it was super nice. I feel very refreshed and will probably be back. Its also nice that they dont try to pressure you into a membership like other places do.

I can’t give Bergamot Massage anything less than 5-stars. From the front staff to Josie, the manager, to Karter, everything was amazing and they went above and beyond for me. Karter stepped in for a co-worker that had a family emergency and did my massage on her day off so I didn’t have to reschedule. I had the hot stone therapy and they worked out every knot in my body from my neck to my toes! The pressure they used was perfect (I tend to like a lil pain) and I could feel my body relaxing. We share the same sarcasm and wit and that was cool too! I highly recommend Kater and Bergamot Massage Therapy. I had to scheduled another appointment before I left! It was that good!

The environment is beautiful, the therapists were great, and excellent customer service. I went with my mother and father and we had Shelley, Ty, and Rachel. All of us were raving the rest of the day about what great therapists we had. We’d highly recommend this place. Just a note, if you’re going there for the first time, you may want to call for directions because google maps and iPhone maps are not up on where the location of this great establishment is.

I just came back from massage at Bergamot. I took a 2 hours session with Jo and she helped me get relax and focused the massage on my back problem. The ambiance was paramount. As soon as you walk in you are treated very homely. You get a nice cuppa of hot tea. Kristina is a wonderful hostess! :)I am definitely going to be back there soon! :)

Today was my first visit and I was BLOWN AWAY! Ive had many massages in my life and was skeptical when a coworker referred to try this place; Im SO glad I went! The massage therapist, Jo, followed all my preferences, she worked out knots I didnt even know I had, and she made sure I felt comfortable the entire massage, with a perfect amount of pressure. Every technique she used was just what I needed. 90 minute massage was worth every penny. I will definitely be back to see her.

Today I had one of the best massages ever!!! Jacqueline was a a remarkable masseuse. She asked me questions to understand what I needed, and then did a beautiful, careful job. I feel much relief with my back pain. She was very sweet and had a very gentle way about her. Bergamot Massage is amazing! I have been going here for 4 years now to see Seth, who does wonderful full body work. As a competitive pole dancer, I have all sorts of weird muscles that need work, and he always knows how to not only massage them, but also recommend different stretches to help alleviate discomfort I have between massages.The other staff are also delightful, the receptionists are always delightful to speak with.The space itself is very relaxing and inviting. They have a store with high quality and refreshing products. They always have tea/coffee available should you want some before/after your massage. And at the end youll always be given water and chocolate. :)Cant recommend this location enough, love the service and the space!

Ive been a regular customer for YEARS. All their therapists are highly skilled. Ask their receptionist for the type of massage you want - sports, relaxation, stone, etc - theyre very knowledgeable and will get you an appointment with the right person. During Covid, their protocols have helped me feel safe, and its a wonderful respite from the chaos of the world. We all need human touch.

I used the sauna and it was a great experience!

Megan took care of me today and I believe I received from her the best massage Ive ever gotten. The seasonal special of cinnamon clove oil was fantastic and Megan was very skilled in applying pointed pressure where it needed to be. She relieved muscles and nerves I didnt even know were wanting of help! Ill be back and I hope shell be there again, but even if not I get the feeling I cant go wrong here.

Love the sauna. Its private with a shower and water available inside the suite. The staff is friendly and the space is always clean and tidy.

Great experience and great employees. Everything from the beginning to the end was very professional. The employees (we were with Jessica B. and Rachel T.) were very friendly and did wonderful jobs. Have had many massages here, all have been great. Shelley, Casey, and Ninlil all have done amazing work. The atmosphere is relaxing, they always make sure you have hot tea and a chocolate after the massage. It is a wonderful experience.

I enjoyed a wonderful massage with Ty this week and she stood out for her attention to my problem areas and her overall professionalism, skill and kindness. The entire experience with Bergamot, from the moment I stepped in to the place to the second I stepped out, was top-notch with each and every person I encountered.

Kinda disappointed, after reading the reviews I was really excited to set an appointment for my wife. While the receptionist was very nce and welcoming. No one offered to take my wifes coat, she wasnt provided a robe. Her massage request wasnt honored. Not ok

I have been a regular of Bergamot for almost two years, and recently had to work with another therapist besides the one I always see. Deanna worked VERY hard to replicate the work I always have done at my appointments, and I cannot recommend her or Bergamot enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Fiance and I went for a 60 minute massage at their new location and it was great!! Would highly recommend Bergamont to anyone interested in a massage! Cannot speak for the other services provided. But they do have a special sauna package that didnt look to bad either!

Very nice atmosphere, great massage. They take walk-ins when available. The Asian-American lady that greeted me didnt understand English too well, but then an Asian-American man came out and we talked.

You know, I’ve probably had about 10 massages in my whole life and I never got the hype... until today. Casey was fantastic! I told her my sore spots and she gave them the attention they needed. I can’t stop talking about how awesome it was.

Was given a gift certificate and there is a wait-list for massages. Otherwise its over three weeks for an appointment. Super disappointing. Why sell what you cannot deliver in a timely manner? Oh, and no refunds for the service they cannot provide.
