Love love love this place! Definitely a place you can be yourself and enjoy your time! Love that they have specials every day of the week and have fun things to do 😉 Bartender John took really good care of me and my partner and let us know all the local fun as well. Will definitely stop here every time I visit 😁💖

Stopped here to do some seminars and never have been the Madison and I loved it but they said all the kids are out for summer so its much more fun apparently than the time I was there. But the people were friendly that outdoor seating good vibe in the city.

I was there tried to get some drinks. Give them my driver license. The bartender said that it’s not an ID then provide them the passport the bartender said that they have rights not serving serve me. I just wanna know what’s wrong with my ID what’s wrong with my passport or have something wrong with my look.

I would give one star if I could, but they’re TouchTunes don’t work..

This place was SO much fun! We’re out of towners but they made us feel so welcome and gave us free shots. Bar tenders are darling. I’m v into the bear/leather theme, but even my female friend felt comfortable and had fun

It is nice little bar with bunch of hot bears 😉😊. Bartender older bear was good looking and making a good old fashioned cocktails. Very cozy little bar.

Gay men really need a space we can call our own, and Woof’s is exactly that. Especially since grindr allows woman, this is the only safe space I feel comfortable in as a gay man.

Worst “gay” bar in Madison. Staff excludes anyone who is not a cis gendered gay man, and makes it known that they only accept a certain type of customer. Definitely not a welcoming environment for lesbians, or other queer identifying individuals. Happy pride…

Small bar with lots of character. Friendly and courteous staff. Good looking too. We played pool on a clean, level and smooth table. Definitely going back.

Last week I met the owner of the place.He misgendered my partner. Blamed them for it. Got angry that he was getting corrected by a group of 6 of his patrons. Referred to my partner as a thing. Then walked off trying to find someone sympathetic to his side.And then from what Ive heard started talking about committing physical violence against transgender people.This was my favorite bar. I go here multiple times a week. All of his employees are caring, understanding, aware and so far from transphobic.I can ever walk in there again knowing that Id be supporting someone that has these beliefs and disrespected my family so blatantly.Knowing that we are not welcome there.

Honestly I love pride and everything it stands for! Im a engaged women to a man and I love everything pride. I respect you love who you love no matter what. This place made me feel unwelcome and like I disrespected them somehow by coming into the place because I heard a great song.

It was ok. We got there kind of early on a Thursday night, but we needed to get more money because they dont accept cards. They did have an ATM in the back behind the bar, but its ancient, and needs to be upgraded for the chip reader soon (This coming from an ATM owner). The ATM kept throwing network errors and the bartender seemed aware but said the owner did not want to do anything about it. So the bartender suggested we go next door and use their ATM. I am sorry, but I am not going next door to use an ATM and then come back. I am there, I want to stay there, so when we left, we left. We wanted to stay, but apparently they dont care enough to do what it takes to ensure people stay in the bar.

Ive never felt like I fit in more somewhere than at Woofs. Terry and Dino treated me like a king and Ill be going back all the time without a doubt. Being new in town, they made me feel very welcome and I couldnt be happier about it.

One of my favorite establishments in Madison. Very supportive of the community. I find both the staff and patrons very friendly and welcoming. A great place for anybody.

I ruff Woof’s! A lot of hot guys and sometimes white claws are $3 but I can never remember which days and times that’s a thing so when it does happen it’s always the best surprise 🐶 ruff!!!!!!

Beer Bust was pretty sparse but the people there and the staff were fun to chat with.

Been to many prides in many cities, only ever felt unwelcome here at Madison’s Woof’s. If you aren’t hairy, muscular, and white, be prepared to wait an hour for a drink on pride.

Staff is amazing, drink specials and weekly and monthly events make this one of the fun places to be downtown and of course a rotation of DJs! 😊

Visited last February and had a great time! Will be returning this Friday, 1/9, for my birthday and expect to have a GREAT time!

I was the only person in the bar and the bartender walk out to chat with his friends.The job of the bartender is to keep his customers busy and entertain them.It was dead bar, I dont think it will last
