Doogies Bar and Grill

I was treated to an undeserved, HUMILIATING experience at the bar by the Bartender. Probably not going back ever by myself.I was told by my friend that there was a Leather Party on Saturday. I had no other details. So I showed up around 9 PM thinking Id be early. Little did I know the party had already ended and there were about 3 people at the bar.I drove an hour, in the rain, to get to Doogies. I walked in, looking probably a bit confused, and walked up to the bar. The bartender accused me of being DRUNK and without even letting me speak a word, said he would NOT SERVE ME.I was COMPLETELY sober, and did not even order anything. I was going to ask about the party... Instead, he publicly humiliated me and accused me of stumbling into the bar, and making it public that I was being excluded.He was reluctant to even give me a glass of water, but I asked a few times.. I only stayed because I didnt want to immediately drive back home in the rain.Because of how he spoke to me, no one in the bar would even look at me.I asked for an apology for being treated so poorly, but did not get one.Would I ever go there again? Probably not unless I was in a big group to avoid being singled out the way he did.He said I looked drunk. Thank God the Bartender/owner is not able to put people in jail for how they look.

Ex-husband DJed there a few times years ago. Loved it there. The owner and his partner were wonderful. Patrons were always nice. Im a straight female but I always had a blast. I still think of Doogies often, and fondly. Ive been thinking of stopping by again soon.

I have come here a couple of times with my husband. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. Im still being introduced to other gay bars around the area. This one so far, is the best. Drinks are always stiff. As well as Im sure others. Keep up the good work guys

Its was alright. I feel like we went there a little too late, it was about 12:30am so it felt a little dead. Good drinks though. Hopefully they do a little something for Halloween next year to live it up a little. Would definitely give it a second shot eventually.

For food, I only had a drink that was well made. My companions orders however looked amazing. With ample portion sizes.

I felt welcomed there. The elder of the two bartenders is a little bit of a non people person... But the other bartender was very kind and sweet. I enjoyed the clientele. It was a fun atmosphere..

Had a nice start of my evening here. Great bartenders and good drinks. Small neighborhood bar with a stage in the back for drag shows or dancing. About a dozen people here around 830pm. Nice friendly crowd.

Great little hole-in-the-wall LGBT bar. Bartender was hilarious, poured a mean drink, and treated us with feisty fabulousness. Bonus - you can sit in a corner and hold a conversation without screaming over too-loud music. This bar keeps it just loud enough for an adult crowd. Casual and comfortable. Well be back here, for sure.

I love the bar. Doogie, John, and Ed are always very nice to me. They always put a smile on my face even when Im having a bad day. They take very good care of me every time i come t the bar.

Went out with my partner and sat at the bar. were new to NH and were looking for a place to go to regularly.Sat next to a hairdresser. he began talking politics. we asked him to stop. he did. he started again. he got louder and even more obnoxious. we had ordered some food. i called the bartender to cash us out (we had not even got food yet). we paid and left weithout the food and the idiot was still raving. I think his name was Keith.we will NEVER return to this place

Great place to go. Food is great and so are the drinks and prices are more than fair. If you havent been I highly recommend giving them a shot!

Small neighborhood bar. There is a nice dance club section in back which would be great if they used it but they dont even on weekends. Seems a waste this city needs a place to dance where djs actually mix records. We dont need another juke box club. Hopefully they will try it.

First time here and loved it everyone from customers to bar staff extremely friendly

I was at Doogies early in the evening looking for a quick bite to eat. The streak bomb was the best Id had since the 20th century. It was also inexpensive. Ill be back.

Car towed while patronizing - people outside pretended not to notice while I panicked. My visit to Doogies cost me $165 more than I expected. I parked my car in the first slot of the parking lot next to the entrance in full view of several patrons and watched one employee smoke in front of my car while I took a phone call. Nobody said anything while walking in nor while inside. Getting my car back was a nightmare because the dispatcher wouldnt return my call. The staff should warn people or post a sign.

Only been once so farIts very clean and modern the drink I had was Perfect I had a burger off the menu it was not bad better than I expected someone else had the shrimp scampi it smelled and looked awesome the owner was very friendly thanked me for coming bathroom was very clean and fresh

Friendly, down-to-earth gay bar. Not very many women, but no one has made a fuss about me being there. Love the bartenders.

Overall friendly crowd. Good happy hour bar in the 8-11pm time slot. Start here for a decent weekend crowd of all ages.

When I heard that Doogie was going to open up his bar, I was very excited. Even though I have been there only 3 or 4 times, I liked it and the crowd was nice, Never had a problem there, Ed and Doogie are quite nice!

The owner is very friendly. He loves to have fun comical with his customers.Bathrooms are extremely clean. I am impressed.
