Massage Envy

I think Katelyn was great! What I really didn’t like is the new environment for facials. It felt very clinical in there. One of the reasons I love to go for a facial is the spa environment - low lighting, nobody else in the room, and quiet, except for the soft music. This was not the environment that I prefer for a facial. I also missed the facial steam and massage. I know there is a lot of new equipment, but again, it felt nothing like the spa environment that I prefer.

Ive been coming to this Massage Envy for a while. The place is very comfortable and the temperature is perfect. My Massage therapist, April, is very experienced in her trade! She is very kind and experienced.

Christina was fantastic and truly cared about my experience. She targeted areas I didn’t know were causing my pain issues then took the time to explain to me afterwards. 10/10 will be refunding to her.

Yari was amazing. She really helped my neck and shoulder issue. She listened to what I had going on and she adjusted the massage to help me. I highly recommend her and will definitely be going back to her.

My therapist Yaritza was amazing. Thee best message I ever had. She gave the perfect amount of pressure and I did not feel rushed. TYSM!

Antonio is the best massage therapist that I have had. He is so cognizant of my comfort level. Very communicative in helping me know how I can feel better. Thanks!!

I highly recommend Sophia to give you a facial. Ive been going to her for many months. She is so sweet, and tells you step by step what she will be applying to your face.My skin is so healthy now

Todd was exceptional. I have been a member for 9years and he listened and was very knowledgeable about the muscle anatomy. I came to the appointment very uncomfortable and in pain to my upper back and neck. The next morning I woke forgetting I had been in pain. He found knots I didn’t know I even had. Thank you

Deanna is really awesome and has the perfect touch both medium or deep depending on my needs which is usually not too deep. She keeps the session quiet like I prefer and does everything to make sure I’m comfortable and taken away for 90 minutes of relaxation and repair. Thanks girl!

I have been getting massages at this location since 2020 and they do not disappoint. Todd does a wonderful job getting to know you not only as a client but as a person too! He evaluates your day-to-day motions to pin-point any strenuous movements and works with you to achieve the necessary relief. I have tried so many different massage therapists in multiple states and Todd really is the best! My husband just signed up and got a membership at this location too so we can do our self-care days together. Thank you Todd and thank you Massage Envy - Power & McKellips.

Girls at front desk really rude and pushy especially Abby.. she lied to me about hot stone service and over charged me when I declined the membership that she attempted to sale me. She initially tried to sell me the most expensive package without making me aware of other membership options that cost less. She became extremely rude while giving me attitude during checkout as her coworkers watched. It was apparent the Abby was upset that I decided not to purchase the package. I couldn’t wait to get out of that spa and totally felt mistreated towards the end to say the least. If you are looking to go to Envey spa, avoid location on mckellips in Mesa Az

Brittney is awesome! Took some effort to get back on her schedule. I’ve had appts that I thought were booked to be told they aren’t booked. I’ve had appts get cancelled day of or miss bookings with other therapists.

Katelyn was an excellent esthetician that was thorough in answering all of my questions and performing a fantastic chemical peel. I’m looking forward to my great results from my PCA peel.

Jazmyn did a wonderful job and made me feel pampered and comfortable. I truly enjoyed working with her and recommend her services!

This location is not a place I would ever frequent again. They refuse to honor the promotions for members and when the manager is asked questions she tells you to “go sit down and I will help you when I can”. She helped 2 people before she helped me. I was trying to check out. Try any other location than this one

I had an awesome session with Sophia for a facial and neck and arm massage. So relaxing. Love the WISH products which are new for me. Check it out. I was telling my friends there, as a caregiver to my spouse with Az Massage Envy is part of my self care routine. I love it.

Rob actually finds & works on the issues. When I leave, I feel like we accomplished something. Hes very knowledgeable, I trust him.

Britanny is amazing! She is so knowledgeable with the the muscular-skeletal system and can really read the muscles tension and stress. I loved my service and I would recommend a 90 minute, it was so good. She was not only able to work on my problem spots (which feel so much better) but also she also showed me a stretch after to help with some of my tighter areas. Go see her ASAP and I recommend booking a few in a row so you can get it!

Katelyn was wonderful for my facial but I miss the experience of being in a quiet room with low lights and music. Being in a bright room that looks like a lab with other clients was actually not relaxing at all. Loved Katelyn but I love the Gilbert-Highland environment much much better.

The staff seem genuinely interested in clients’ wellbeing. Abbey was friendly and I felt as if I were talking to a friend rather than having an intake interview.

I loved getting facials here. It was very relaxing and a wonderful experience until they renovated. They recently changed to a facial bar style where you’re in a room with others also getting facials. It definitely ruined the relaxing feeling I normally have when getting a facial. The lights are bright, not dimmed like before, the music isn’t as relaxing, you can hear others in the room talking, and the big window showing out to the parking lot just feels invasive. It definitely doesn’t feel as personalized or relaxing as it used to be. It’s unfortunate because I really like the lady that does my facials and enjoyed going. I think I’m going to find another location to go to for facials now.

April does a great job. Has just the right pressure. Focuses on the areas i have been having pain in and it has helped a lot.

Christina was my masseuse and she was really great. Targeting areas that I needed work on! She was very knowledgeable about how to work those areas to provide relief and I highly recommend her. I also did the leg compression therapy and Karen helped me with that. Great staff in North Mesa

Paris is easily one of the most skilled therapists I’ve seen over 15 years of massages.

My massage was awesome except for the leaning table. These are new but a level one matters. You feel like you out of balance. These are new tables! It takes away from the intended relaxation & experience. It needs to be fixed! For this reason only 2 stars.

Ive been a member for 4 years now, and I absolutely look forward to every service I get. Almost always a massage, but I had a facial once, and tried some of the new services they have after remodeling. The remodel is beautiful, new beds and lights, and vibration features on the beds. The main reason I have continued my membership for years is also my preferred masseuse Soledad. She works wonders. I always come out so refreshed, and she gets exactly where I need it. Any kinks or knots, she always gets it out with ease. I work on my feet all day as a chef, so heavy lifting, and looking down all day my neck or lower back always need some extra love. Ill be moving states soon, so Im sad to leave and hopefully find someone half as talented as Soledad when we get to our new home!

I need a good massage to relieve the tension in my muscles due to stress. Sarah does a great job and always checks if the pressure is okay. Staff at the front desk are very congenial and efficient. I pleased to see that the remodeling at the McKellips office is completed and has upgraded their equipment and massage tables.

Todd was amazing. He worked on the exact area I needed. I’ve already made another appt with him!

Jazmyn is always a joy to have as my anesthetician… she is always able to come up with an individual plan for me, has wonderful listening and is very professional. I really enjoy my visits!

Scott is an amazing intuitive therapist. He does a great job getting rid of my muscle pain! Kadence at the front desk was also so sweet and helpful making my experience great!I had another fantastic massage with Scott! He is the Gua Sha master! I didn’t even know that was a thing before, and now my muscles count on it!Scott did it again! I was a stressed out mess when I came in. I walked out with no pain and RELAXED! He is a magic therapist.I had an appointment with Scott one month after my knee replacement. He was great! It was super helpful to do after going through all that healing.

April has magic hands. She listened to me and made me feel welcome, and heard. The massage was wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!!!

I would give it a perfect score because Monika is the best esthetician on the planet (100 stars for her), but this stores assistant manager Karen is a rude jerk . Be prepared to be talked down to and looked up and down. Dont mind her. Shes trying to feel better about herself. Just laugh and remember this post. Also, they went to an open concept where everyone can see you getting a facial & in the same room with 3 other new weird tables. Its totally not private , not a relaxing experience anymore. You cant share info with your esthetician privately. I canceled my membership

Betty is by far the best therapist at ME. I have to pre-book my sessions 6 months in advance in order to get in. She has a great personality. Shes attentive to my ever changing health needs and chronic pain levels.

Abby and lexy are very professional and have patience. I was signed up by Abby who was great and very knowledgeable about all the information I requested. I have had a great experience.

Jazmyn gave me a great facial. She was very informative and helped me learn a lot about my skin and what products would work specifically for me.

I’ve been seeing Soledad for years! She was my preferred therapist, until I got pregnant, and then went to someone else for prenatal massage… In between having children and pregnancies, I would always go back to Soledad. Now that they’ve added additional treatments at Massage Envy , and she is qualified to administer a deeper Massage, I’ll be looking more appointments.!

I was very disappointed by the changes made to how you manage facials. I was very uncomfortable being on display in the public room, it was too bright, too public and the chair was very uncomfortable. I am a long time member but this is the last facial I will ever get at massage envy.

For sure do not sign up for their subscription it’s a year long contract they do not explain that to you when you sign up they lead you to believe it’s a monthly thing but you pay monthly for a year. Not worth it in my opinion. Unfortunately I will be stuck paying $75 a month until my one year contract is up then it goes to monthly unless I cancel.Really shady and the lady was extremely pushy for me to sign up I expressed I wanted to leave as I was gifted a free massage for my initial visit and she wouldn’t let me take the pamphlet home to read over it which I wish I would’ve just walked out. I signed up because I wanted to go home and figured I would be able to cancel. They should be more clear on this. Regardless not worth itDO NOT LET THEM SIGN YOU UP. GO HOME DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. DO NOT SIGN UP.Hope this helps anyone else that’s considering signing up

Scott is truly a healer. I get deep tissue and hot stone massages and feel so relaxed and more flexible. I have been going to Massage Envy for over five years and look forward to my monthly massage and feel it is a good value. The staff is friendly and professional.

Very unreliable! Massages are hit and miss as far as their skills and techniques go. Some massages are ok, some are downright bad. When I did find a good therapist she always seems to leave right after that or be booked for months out. The biggest issue is its hard to make appointments and they frequently cancel. I made 3 appointments 2 months ago, the earliest availability I had and theyve already canceled 2 of them. One of which was 2 hours before the massage time.Another issue is cutting the massages short. I go for 90 minute massages which have been as short as 65 minutes. Its not uncommon to still be in the waiting room 15 minutes after appointment time but they always end on time.VERY POORLY MANAGED AND STAFFED!I just canceled my membership with 6 massages on the books because I cant schedule any (that dont get canceled) and I have 60 to use what Ive PAID FOR and its unlikely Ill be able to make any appointments.

Wow, where to start? The front reception had holiday scented candles burning and cinnamon scent pine cone in waiting area NOT infuser Essential Oils- needless to say my asthma flared along with a sinus headache within 10 minutes of me waiting. I mentioned the issues of my asthma and my reaction and c how toxic scented candles are to clients especially in a business thats suppose to support healing; to the receptionist and my massage therapist April. They both similar replied oh yes that’s what we have The receptionist said, call ahead and we will make sure the candles aren’t burning when you come! How is that going to get rid of the toxic fumes built up in a place where you don’t have outside air or light coming in. I have been coming here the last 5 winters October to April-(usually they have essential oils defusing in the reception area) to make matters worse- the second worse massage I have ever had, felt like April was pulling taffey on my skin short stokes, not long going the length of the muscle. Oh she SAT on a rolling stool 95% of the time that was definitely a first. How can you sit and get any pressure or long massage consistency along the muscle? 90 minutes ended up taking back at 12:07 but April was done by 1:30- but I was actually happy we were done. Experience all around Horrible!!!

Monika is an excellent aesthetician! She explains the treatment and other options that would benefit my skin, she takes her time and listens, and she is professional and very attentive to my skin. Im glad I found her and this location, the entire staff has been cordial and helpful. I recommend them 100%

Previously I rated them a one star. I am updating to a 5 star due to the wonderful service I received from the manager, Karen. She was able to understand and resolve an issue regarding my account. I feel she went above and beyond to help me out.Great massages BUT make sure you understand the contract you’re signing!! After your 12 payments they continue to charge you every month until you send in a cancellation form, which of course takes 10 days to process.

It was my first time going to massage envy. I came into massage envy for the sole purpose of buying a gift card for my coworker. I spoke to these two lovely young ladies by the name of Ciara and Cecilia. Not only did they made me feel welcome, they were also extremely kind, patient, encouraging and informative. I am not really fond with the idea of being massaged because I’m ticklish but after speaking to these lovely ladies, I am actually considering coming back next time and book a massage session for myself. :)

I love this location. It has a beautifully updated space, a great staff, and unique treatment options for wellness. I personally enjoy seeing Jordynne or Brittney.

Honestly, the absolute best Massage I have ever had, the only suggestion I have is try not to fall asleep !! I leave feeling like I just got back from a Beach vacation. April is the best !!!

DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP!!! It is a scam!!!The rules they give to you explaining the ways you can cancel are not what they follow. If you want to transfer your credits you also have to pay $10 for that with additional rules. Be sure to confirm how much each service costs before you proceed because they will sneakily take more than you expected if you arent paying attention. I will never do business here again. I went over to Best Etsie Day Spa and they are AMAZING! They dont lock you into a contract you cant cancel, they give you way more for what youre paying for and their services & massages are all 10x better than massage envy. Dont waste your time or money here!

Had a terrific 90 minute aromatherapy massage with Todd. He did an excellent massage session and I felt great afterwards.

Monika always provides excellent service and advice, and is most personable and pleasant to spend time with.

Ive been a Massage Envy member long enough to know to appreciate every therapist for what each specializes in, and Melanie (Melonie?) specializes in perfection! I should know better than to spread such secrets & risk her availability being booked up, but this woman needs recognition! She has med-strong pressure & has a very warm personality. I felt at ease & loved my relaxation massage so much, i fell asleep a few times! I had been considering cancelling my membership, but after a few sessions with Melonie (Melanie?), it has reminded me the benefits of a monthly massage & has renewed my excitement to prebook with her in advance. Shes magic.

Sarah does a wonderful job of checking in with me on how the pressure is working for my fibromyalgia. I love her massages!

First time at this location. Moved from out of state and was looking for a new aesthetician.Monika is awesome! When I got to my room, she asked what I was looking for and if I had a preference on brand for the facial. She took a look at my skin and explained what she was seeing and offered suggestions for ongoing skin maintenance.I had an Obagi facial and would recommend to anyone. Ive used Jan Marini in the past, but I might like the Obaji better! Monika was very friendly and explained everything as she went. I will definitely be back to see her.Only giving 4 stars because the girls at the front desk did not seem very attentive.

I wish I had read through these before signing up! This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! THEY ONLY WANT TO COLLECT YOUR MONEY! Unable to get in for an appointment? They dont care. A therapist left you in pain? They dont care. Bad experience? They dont care. A massage therapist literally falling asleep several times while doing your massage? They dont care. The options are make another appointment or pay them for nothing.

I wanted a massage, but was nervous about signing up for a membership because my first massage envy massage (not here) was not very good. I spoke with Tianna who told me they had therapists there who would meet my needs (deep tissue and trigger point therapy). She went out of her way to let me know the therapists that would be a good fit for me. She explained all of the details about signing up for a membership that I didnt know like how they roll over to the next month if you dont use them. She set me up with Holly who was amazing! Holly listened to what I said I wanted and was both knowledgeable and skilled. My neck feels great. I cant wait to go back.

Rob is amazing. He asks me what I need. He listens. I always feel better walking out than I did walking in the door.

Never EVER sign up for the membership unless you are absolutely 100% sure you will use every single one. I got my massages so backed up because of life and they didn’t allow me to give them away freely. You can only give one massage to a person every six months and you have to pay an extra $10 to give it away! So dumb! And if you ever need to freeze your account you pay $20 a month to do so. They usually don’t let you freeze. It was a nightmare and I am so grateful to be done with them!

Yari was amazing! However when i tried to book the following week I was told the time slot that I requested would be over a month out. It should be advised up front that appointments should be scheduled 1 month in advance before clients sign.

Ive been gettting massages for years and I can honestly say that one of the best Ive ever had was with Paula. She used the right amount of pressure and worked muscles I didnt even know I had. It was wonderful! The front desk staff is great too. They make you feel like part of a family.

They gladly take our monthly payments as they cancel our appointments due to sick therapists. Then the therapists return with light schedules because they can not handle a full schedule. Sounds like a lot of covid to me. My husband and I have each had our last 2 appointments canceled within a day of the appointment. I proactively changed my therapist because Scott bad mouthed vaccines and what he wore for a mask was a joke! We are now leaving this location permanently.

I have been a member & patronizing Massage Envy@6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ for a year and a half. My kids have given me several 300. gift cards. It got frustrating with the financials Massage Envy@6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ. They would still charge my card while I had gift money on my account to use. NOT what I was TOLD, BUT Apparently, the gift money cannot be used toward a membership, although not what I was told when I inquired about gift cards & again when submitting them. I HAD to use that for additional services. Plus, calculations were never correct. Lastly but most importantly, NOT ONE massage was worth its weight in charges. I tried different people to no avail.Last week I went into Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ & cancelled my membership. 2 ladies, (one at desk; one on phone) looked at my account, reaching the conclusion I had one service left on my contract, BUT I had to use it by this week, AND the only thing they had available was a facial for 2/22 at 8AM. I booked it.2/21 I received a phone call from a young lady @Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ confirming the appointment for 8AM today 2/22. Professionally, if there were issues, I should have been told at that time of call. I was not.2/22, 8AM I show up for appointment @Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ, the desk clerk gives me a pad form to complete & off I go for my facial. NEVER a word mentioned of an issue. Facial was good, young lady was good. I proceed to leave a tip for the service provider using 20. on a gift card. The desk clerk informs me I owe 65.00 for today’s facial, “how would you like to pay?”. I explained, that is incorrect and gave her the scenario. She was intent on computer screen when the manager came out from the back; Manager Anaya, informs me they calculated incorrectly, and I owe for today — “how would you like to pay?”. I responded that “Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ’s error is owned by them. I was told and booked this appointment using up my cancelled membership, and I came for the service today simply to use up that membership, w/no intention then or now, paying for something I was told I had a credit to use. Manager Anaya tells me, “Well, we have your card on file so we will just charge that.” I told her they haven’t the right to charge that without my permission, and I will dispute the charge with my bank.” I walked out.I live five minutes from Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ; once home I checked my bank account; sure-enough they submitted the charge to my card. A complete violation, charging my card “OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF CONTRACT”. The mgr Anaya took the liberty of charging my card, without my permission, with a card that was on file for my membership, which was cancelled.IMPORTANT TO TAKE NOTE OF:1) If “they” @Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ made an error in “their” calculations, “they” had the responsibility to reach out to me. You don’t let the customer receive the service w/the understanding it is already paid for; then after the service inform the customer @Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ they owe for it. I should have been given that choice to proceed and pay or walk away, PRIOR to the service.2) ALWAYS, inform a customer a mistake has been made in charges, prior to the service they were previously given the information it was already paid for; NOT after, nor with the attempt to charge the customer regardless of their approval status. As in Massage Envy @6626 E McKellips, Mesa, AZ charging my card AFTER contract cancellation; after I told them they did not have my permission to charge the card.

Ive had nothing but great experiences here. I dont even worry about who will be my therapist each time because they are all wonderful! Front desk staff is always kind and friendly.

So, where should I start. Approximately a month ago… I was told my appt was on a Sunday that week. Put into my calendar and showed up only to be told it was the following Sunday. I never make appointments for two weeks out. Ever. So upsetting. I let it go.Then this morning I called to make an appointment and the gal Alexa (I believe her name was) wasn’t able to pull my information up bc she couldn’t get the number right so I asked is my membership not there ? I proceeded to let her know that I was really mad when they told me my appointment was for a different Sunday that I said I would cancel my membership maybe but that I would let them know. So of course as I’m telling this front desk girl… I’m on speaker in my car and she says “I don’t appreciate your yelling at me.” Which I know myself … I was not yelling bc I’m not a rude person. I told her this and the. Asked to speak to a manager … she literally hung up on me. The unprofessionalism is SO bad in there with this particular girl. Then I called back and spoke to a Cecelia… another front desk girl..I told her the gal Alexa hung up on me. She then proceeded to tell me that she was standing next to her … Soooo that’s supposed to tell me what exactly, that she heardMe yelling ? Lol. She said “No she didn’t hearMe yelling.” … so clearly stating that she was standing next to Alexa, meaning she can Vouch for her … means exactly what ?? What’s the point of saying that ? Rude and unprofessional once again. The fact that they think it’s ok to treat a client, a member, like I was treated, completely rude and unprofessional by these two front desk girls is beyond me. Who teaches front desk to hang up on clients ? Accuse me of yelling no less when I wasn’t .. I was merely on my car loud speaker… while driving. I will have every one of my friends boycott this place of business bc no one should be treated unprofessionally and rude ever by some young immature girls. Life’s too short.

I received a gift card from my son for mothers my first appointment went well besides the pressure to buy into a membership, since there was a balance on the gift card I decided to make another appointment I assumed that the balance would cover my next massage, WRONG! again I was asked to enter into a membership I explained to the young lady that I was unemployed and could not afford to enroll. Then I was told that I had to pay more because I was not a member. I was not told that my gift card would not cover my next massage since I was not a member this is unacceptable to me because since this is a so called introductory price it should stay that way and not charge at regular price even though there is a balance to cover the massage. This made me very upset and the relaxation that i received went to hell! I would not be returning to Massage Envy ever and will warn my friends and family not to go there! Gift cards are not honored correctly its nothing but a scam!! A 150.00 gift card turned into 208.00 and could not leave a tip, rip off place.

We usually get a monthly massage and usually get the same therapists. Our originally scheduled massage was changed for us by their office staff because it fell on Easter Sunday and theyll be closed. We couldnt get our normal 1.5 hour session or both of the usual therapists. Since we do our schedule 6-8 months in advance, the system should block closed days automatically.

I was not a fan of the open concept for the facial services. It was not relaxing. The services were fantastic.

James did a fantastic job listening to what I felt were my problem areas, and I left feeling so relaxed and that he got those troubled knots really well! He also told me about stretches I could do to help keep them from returning.

Made an online request for an appointment and the 1st time was 48 hours in advance. They finally called me on the day I had requested for, at the end of the day, so no time to get on my day off... 2nd time I asked a week in advance and they never responded. It is like they dont want my business so I will go somewhere else..

Ive been with these people for 16 years. Their staff and therapists are always so caring and professional. Their exceptional customer service is why Ive been with them for so long.

Make sure you read the fine print and not what they verbally tell you. I just lost almost 350$ in saved sessions because I listened to what I was told versus what was in writing. Its a shame because they do a good job but I dont have a lot of money and i just lost so much.
