THE WORST MASSAGE! I had a horrible experience with my massage therapist Miguel. I don’t know where he had his training, but his technique was awful! I came in for a 90 min massage. I was in a face down position for most of the massage. He had no structure. He massaged the right side of my back majority of the time. He didn’t use much massage oil and his rubbing left me raw. He went over and over and over on the same right side for so long! I asked him to concentrate on my shoulders and upper back. Which he did for like 3 minutes, then back to massaging my right side again with his forearm. He barely worked on my arms or my hands. He never once touched my feet! He supposedly has skill in facial massage which he asked about my jaw so I said it was ok to massage my face. He touched my face for less than 10 seconds and then he was done. It was the worst massage ever! I wonder if the lady that had him before me was the lady that didn’t even bother to leave a tip.I walked out of there telling the receptionist that it was the WORST! She was appalled! As was I!

I received a session as a birthday present and am so grateful. Andrew was an amazing therapist who knew exactly where to focus on my back. I honestly dont remember the last time I thought I could live a life free from back pain. I highly recommend this place for their welcoming staff and great therapists.

I regret to express my profound disappointment with the operational management of the establishment in question. As a longstanding member for over a year, I have consistently valued the services provided by the massage therapists. However, I must convey my dissatisfaction with the administrative staff and front desk personnel, whose apparent lack of proficiency and coordination has significantly marred my experience.Having paid monthly fees, I accrued credits for sessions during periods when appointments were not scheduled. Towards the end of the year 2023, I found myself with three remaining sessions, coinciding with my massage therapists relocation from Tempe, Arizona, to Mesa, Arizona. Consequently, I sought to transition my membership to the Mesa location, a decision that was initially met with agreement from the establishment.Despite assurances, complications arose regarding the transfer of my membership, prompting discussions to exhaust my existing credits before proceeding with any changes. I adhered to the conditions set forth, scheduling appointments before the stipulated deadline of January 14th. However, mere days before my scheduled session on February 17th, I was informed of a lack of extension records, thereby rendering my prepaid credits unusable.The ensuing inconvenience of navigating between both locations to rectify the situation proved arduous, compounded by the inability to resolve matters over the phone. Despite providing evidence of prior discussions and appointment scheduling conducted in accordance with the agreed extension, I encountered resistance in utilizing my credits.Such discrepancies in record-keeping and inconsistencies in policy enforcement have left me questioning the integrity of the establishments operations. I am deeply troubled by the suggestion of impropriety and the implications thereof. It is my earnest hope that this matter be addressed promptly and rectified in a manner befitting the standards of professionalism and accountability expected from such an establishment.I humbly request clarification and resolution to this matter, as well as assurances of improved service and adherence to stated policies in the future.

Sylvia is the best massage therapist Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. She took the time to listen to me and focused on the areas of my back/neck where I was having the most discomfort. Her technique was fantastic and I felt SO much better. Ill definitely schedule regular appointments with her from now on.

Hands down best massage place Ive ever been to! Each therapist has a different unique style which I appreciate at this location!! Front desk is really nice and so is the management! I always feel relaxed when I enter the building! Massage has made a huge impact and improvement in my life! I recently had a disappointing experience at Elements Massage Tempe. Despite confirming my appointment, it was not honored, leading to a significant inconvenience. The staff, particularly Operations Manager Brea and Front Desk Employee Kaylee, exhibited very unprofessional behavior. Their lack of customer service and rude demeanor left me with a negative impression. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the overall customer experience.

I highly recommend Wendy. My massage was great, very skilled & knowledgeable therapist.

The people and the operation manager are running a scam. Paid for 3 sessions that I couldn’t use even after making appointments.Those money is my donation for them and their family.Try out massage envy!! Far better service.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The front desk offered me a free massage and I politely declined. They didn’t offer any of my money back and wanted me to go back to a place I was crying half way through. You couldn’t pay me to go through this again.Update: They are refusing to give us the license number for our therapists to ensure they are indeed licensed. Continuing to look into this.They did give me the information. The therapists are licensed. It doesn’t change my experience but at least I know they are licensed.

I am so absolutely disgusted! I have been a member for more than 2yrs. My regular therapist moved out of state so I tried an elements closer to my home in Signal Butte and Baseline. Because I was at a “new” location I had to fill out all new paperwork. My therapist came out a couple minutes late to get me but no problem. We quickly reviewed my history and he left the room for me to change but he was gone for a very long time, meaning less massage time. He was great conversation and the massage was good. I decided to book again for two weeks. I walked in tonight and the front desk girl was mopping the floor and looked confused as to why I was there. I let her know I had a massage and and she told me she had no one else on the calendar. She looked at my file and saw that “Sabrina “ apparently cancelled my appointment instead of confirming it is so they filled my spot!!! I am obviously upset and instead of trying to make their error better she said sorry I don’t have anything else, and how she would be upset too! I let her know that I wouldn’t be coming back and walked out! Will most likely be using the massages I have banked and cancelling my membership because this is one of the several issues I have had with front desk staff between 2 locations!

My experience at this elements massage was so relaxing and the atmosphere was so inviting took advantage of the membership and cant wait to go back!

Pamela is amazing. She was knowledgeable and actually seemed to care about making me feel better. This was the best massage Ive ever had and the most relaxed Ive ever been in my life.

I am giving 4 stars to the administration for their attention to your needs when you walk in the door. My experience with massage is hit or miss if my regular therapist is booked months in advance or leave for different opportunities. If you have a massage that doesn’t provide a reasonable amount of relief it is frustrating.

Chelsea was great and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She made sure to really work on my problem areas, which is my shoulders and neck mostly due to sitting at a desk all day. I got the massage for my Birthday, and it was enjoyable and desperately needed.

Pamela was amazing! She focuses on your needs and is highly knowledgeable about neuromuscular therapy. My back and neck havent felt this good in a long time.

I would give this place a 5 but their roster of therapists is forever changing which is annoying when you get used to someone you like and then they are no longer there. Over all this place is not bad but the some of the rooms need to be cleaned better. You can see spots on the carpet where lotion has fell. Just makes the room feel dingy...

I had a great experience and Megan was amazing. I was able to make adjustments to my massage as needed. I would definitely recommend Megan for your massages.

COMMITS FRAUDMy massage was good, my experience was not. I went in around a month ago for my first time and ended up signing up for a monthly massage subscription. I would pay a monthly fee for a monthly massage and was told I could cancel anytime. Flash forward a month and Im trying to cancel because I found cheaper and closer massage studios, so I call to cancel my upcoming massage and subscription. The manager was very unhelpful and had awful customer service. I was told that I could not cancel without 30 day notice, this doesnt work for me because I dont want my card charged and I dont plan on going to receive a service anyways. I explained to the manager that staff told me I could cancel anytime when I signed up, all she had to say was a I signed a paper and shouldve known. I can see that, but why when I ask are employees saying I could cancel anytime without mentioning 30 days? Then the manager says I also have to come in to sign termination papers, which I was not told either. (Exact conversation with employees previously: So I can just call and cancel anytime? Yes and theres no cancellation fees.Point blank, I asked the manager if she was going to charge my card without my permission and without receiving my service. She said yes. Pretty sure thats illegal???? She was EXTREMELY unhelpful and not understanding at all. Authorities and Better Business Bureau here I come!!! FRAUD DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!Update: Went in around 7 to sign the papers that were so necessary, door is locked when they’re open until 9pm

I really enjoyed my massage today so much that I havent stopped talking about it. Ive been getting massages for awhile now but this was my first time with John and it was magical. Hes very intune and extremely knowledgeable.

Great service and easy going management. They dont try to pressure you or make things difficult about subscription cancellation. Because of this, I am more supportive of their business since they are not predatory.

Have been a member here for over a year and each time they have been able to work me in that day or the next. Because of that I have had several of there therapists perform my massages. By far the best has been Travis. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Each massage is different depending on what he feels when working. You dont even have to tell him hes in the right spot because he already knows. Have never felt pain the next day after one of his massages. I now make appointments ahead of time just to make sure I get him. If your new or had a bad experience here I recommend you request Travis.

My first session at Mesa location was wonderful. It is a very clean area well organized and so relaxing as soon as you enter your stress goes away! I had Hot stones with Lupe and she did an amazing job. If you’re thinking about hot stone don’t hesitate to and try them! I also had great communication with front desk

This was my very first massage and I loved everything! Wendy was my massage therapist and she did a fantastic job. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and really listened to my requests. I suffer from carpal tunnel so it was awesome that she incorporated some techniques to loosen the tightness in my forearms. I cant wait for my next massage. Nice location and super friendly staff!

My experience here was delightful and relaxing. My massage therapist was lexie and she was so kind and insightful. Before the massage she asked me where am I having issues, I explained my upper back and shoulders due to sitting at a computer all day. She really was attentive to my body and spent time on my tight areas and shoulders. I reserved a 1 hour appointment and let me tell you 1 hour isnt enough. I loved it so much I signed up for their monthly wellness program. The environment was relaxing and I was able to receive the massage in the same room as my bf which was lovely for us 😊. He was unsure on what to expect and thought he was too manly to get a massage, he signed up for a monthly membership too!

This team should feel very proud. This was my first time at an Elements but I have had A LOT of massages over the years. I was so impressed even just sitting in the lobby. There is a divine feminine energy in there and that alone was so healing. My technician, Sharon, was incredible! Hands down, the best massage Ive ever gotten. I get deep tissue and I just knew and felt that she wasnt just going through the motions. She paid attention to what my body really needed. She is a master of her craft and maybe even a wizard! I really love spa hopping but I dont see how Ill be able to anymore. Id follow her anywhere!

Not very friendly. Started late and ended early. Pulled hair and was wincing through entire massage. I have had many massages throughout my adult life and this was by far the worse. I do not recommend this place. Receptionists were also very rude.

Ive been coming here since they opened. I have never had one complaint. Ive seen several therapists who were all very good. Finally, I settled on Connie who Ive been with for years. I have arthritis and the massage really helps. The office staff is super friendly and helpful. This location is very clean and comfortable.

Front staff friendly, but my massage therapist seemed very rushed and did not perform symmetrical massage. I selected aromatherapy as additional, but they forgot. Signed up for the membership but they failed to mention where ever you sign up is your home base, so cancellation is not difficult but confusing. Found better massage therapy at a different company and they did not even ask as to why I am cancelling, got the feeling that they do not care to keep customers happy.

This is a wonderful place to get a massage! Although on the expensive side, it is absolutely worth it. You get what you pay for. I have been massaged by nearly every employee at this location and all of them have done a fantastic job. If you get massages frequently, their membership is a great deal and can save you quite a bit of money over time. I would absolutely recommend this Elements to any of my friends.

I have been here twice and am considering getting the membership! Travis is super good at making you feel relaxed and working out knots in a non-painful way. The massage place itself is super zen and relaxing and calming. I love adding lavender essential oil to my treatment as well! Even the bathroom sink as a cute little zen touch.

Absolutely loved my therapist, Katlyn. I told her it was my first ever massage and she made me feel so comfortable and gosh, so relaxed. I walked out feeling rejuvenated both physically and emotionally.Such a wonderful experience and the whole staff were so welcoming.I signed up for their monthly program right after my first session, no regrets! Love my massages!Thank you Katlyn and Elements Massage! I’ve never reviewed anything before but you definitely deserved this one.

Had a massage by Lupe at Riverview and she was phenomenal. Was very thorough in her knowledge, had great technique and had great stretching recommendations to do in between my massage sessions to help with the back tension!

Megan (Mesa Riverview location) is an amazing massage therapist. She is kind and personable. She takes care of any areas that need extra attention and always check in with me during the massage to make sure I’m feeling good about the experience. She has great communication.

Another Elements Massage canceled my pre-scheduled appointment with less than 24 hours notice so I called this location to see if they have a last-minute 90-minute opening and they got me all set up with Andrew. Location is easy to find, ample parking in the strip mall. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I arrived more than 15 minutes early to fill out medical intake form for first time appointment at this franchise location (the information does not transfer but that is more a corporate flaw than studios). Andrew met me and we got started early (huge win) and he listened patiently about what may be injured, just sore, or needs extra attention. He explained he does medium pressure due to a current injury and said if anytime you are not happy with the massage, let me know cus I dont want you paying for a service you did not enjoy. NOW THAT is a humble masseur & great customer service. The massage was great. He worked out ALL the knots in my neck, upper and lower back, shoulder and rotator cuff - it was like a bubble wrap game that we were winning! Great bedside manner, thorough at draping, and communicated throughout the massage on pressure, etc. Highly recommend Andrew at this location.

I went in the other day after not having a professional massage in literal years. Connie spent 90 minutes with me and I left feeling better than I have in months! She was wonderfully skilled and talented! She asked me all about my more painful areas to work on, which for me was a lot of upper back and neck work. After Connies work, I left able to turn my head over my shoulder again! She even had advice for me to keep my back and neck loose during my busy life and heavy workouts, which I will definitely work into my routine. I would happily come back soon for a massage with her, and refer Elements to anyone! Now my goal is to convince my boyfriend to do a couples massage.

My sincerest gratitude for taking my appointment last minute. The front desk staff was so lovely to work with, from making notes on my profile to answering my questions. My therapist was so intuitive, kind and professional. Her pressure, speed and technique were perfect for my needs. I truly can’t thank everyone at the Riverview Elements for being on their game even at 7p on a Saturday night. Well done!

Ive been getting a massage every other week for the last year, and each time I walk into the building I am greeted in a polite and professional manner. Through the time that Ive been getting my messages I have only had a small handful of different message therapists, which is always great! Each therapist, and their messages are wonderful. I would totally, and do recommend Elements Message to my friends and family.

Lisa was absolutely fantastic. I asked for deep tissue and her pressure was perfect. When she finished my back she asked if there were any areas I wanted done again before I turned over which was awesome. She and the front desk staff were very friendly and professional. Excellent experience!

His professional demeanor and expert guidance quickly brought me through the in processing procedures. I was asked specific questions concerning my general health and needs.Soon after I was introduced to Katlyn who warmly greeted me and brought me to the private room.The room itself had a warm glow and soothing music as I was again asked about any concerns and she assured me that the experience would be specifically tailored and adjusted to my needs.All in all, my experience at Elements Massage was truly relaxing and I walked out feeling like a new man. All my stress, aches and pains were taken away.I would highly recommend this experience to anyone in need of pampering and relaxation.

Beware- all the fraudulent business practices that are expressed in other reviews here are correct. Their manager Bry is very shady, she’s rude, unprofessional, and definitely not helpful. If you need to dispute your transaction that they charged you when you had canceled your membership not only do you do this with your bank you have to report them to Visa or MasterCard if you used your card number for the membership. Then also I suggest reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, but you do need to go as far as reporting them to visa and MasterCard as well as your bank when you open a dispute. Anything that you put in writing to them as a cancellation is legitimate whether you go in to their office and sign or not - these are deceptive business practices that Visa and MasterCard will not stand by. I encourage you to open a dispute with your bank and then dispute to Visa and MasterCard. Your bank can provide that further contact information.I had one massage in March, cancelled within 30 days and now in July they charged me. I have unprofessional email correspondence from Bry. She’s horrible and she gives Elements a bad name as well as the reviews of fraudulent billing practices expressed in an overwhelming amount of reviews for this location as well as others. DONT GO HERE.

Came in with my best friend (it was his first professional massage) our LMTs were great - I had Taylor. I love her! Clean facility, friendly staff. Were definitely coming back - but for a 90 minute!

The massage therapist and the staff go above and beyond to exemplify excellent customer care! And that you cannot teach! What a great way to start my birthday. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend them!

I got a massage here today by Sharon and I was extremely happy with my time. I could tell Sharon knew her anatomy, knowing where each muscle starts and ends and how they work. I highly recommend Sharon at this location. I can’t wait to schedule another appointment with her! :D

The massages were supposed to be an hour but after 10 mins of waiting 10 mins of prep and 10 mins saying goodbye its really only 30 mins of massage.The worst part is you cant cancel your Wellness Agreement over the phone and they wont issue a refund for unused credits. They charged me every month of 2020, = $828. For credits I never used thinking of suing. They are a bunch of crooks stay away.The worst part was that the massages werent even that good :/

The therapist Brooke whom I was very happy with did an amazing job! Brooke was great at making sure my stress zones were taken care of and covering areas that needed extra attention! I definitely recommend elements and Brooke!

I have been here several times and have had both male and female therapists. Every single time it has been amazing! I leave feeling like a new person! I have lots of back pain and regular massages really help I am so glad I found this place!

Booked a massage for my mom on Mother’s Day show up to her appointment and said she didn’t have an appointment bc the massage therapist was sick. No one reached out to tell us or tried to rebook with a different therapist. Not happy at all and super unprofessional

I love this place. I get massages to unknot all my training knots. It really helps keep my chance of injury down and ups my recovery time. They have excellent scheduling and plenty of therapists on staff.

Megan was wonderful! The massage greatly improved the pain I was having on my right back shoulder. The facility is very clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

I’m not saying this place is bad, but for the first time I selected a male for a massage. I was very clear that I only wanted my mid and lower back addressed. He kept wanting to do shoulders/gluten and I kept saying lower back and mid only. Then he started and 50% of the time he worked on my shoulder and upper back. I was trying to be professional but I was getting upset. Then to top it off his nails were like little knifes and he had hairy arms which made it very uncomfortable. I wish he focused on my lower back, it still hurts and sore.

I think Im done with Elements now. I went in today and the massage was lackluster again and the lady at the counter seemed a little irked that I wasnt into the many things they want to sell me. Plus, the prices have sure gone up. No thanks.

Highly recommend Elements. Wendy was able to relieve my pain, which is a HUGE accomplishment. One of the best experiences I have had in a while. Scheduled my next massage immediately, and even signed up for membership! Counting the days until I return for my next slice of bliss....

Do not sign up for a membership. Though you sign an agreement with a specific price, they can change it at any time, and do. When cancelling, you bring this to their attention and honestly, they dont care. Its strickly about getting that monthly membership contract signed, collecting the money and not about customer service. They have forever lost my business.

I give 1 star because there is no 0 star optionI DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHATSOEVER.A month ago I had a bad back pain and I went there since is close by where I live , massage was ok actually helped me I have no complaints for that at all. When I left the lady at front desk offer me the membership which I refused then she asked me to get massage a month after that which I didnt say yes to that, well she booked the day and time she wanted eventos web I Durant say yes to the service. That day came and I started receiving a call for the place I imagined they wanted to book an appointment . I didnt pick up the phone because I was out of town and the second call somebody left me a message that since I dint show up ( for an appointment i didnt book) i was gonna reicibe a charge for cancelation fees. What ??? So i called back immediately and the lady said i had an appointment and it was gonna be 45 dollars for not canceling the appointment obviously that drove me crazy so in the meantime while I hung up and call back to speak with the manager,.....with no authorization and arbitrarily they charged 139.00 to my card that they shouldnt have to keep on file and they had no written authorization and signature for me to make any charges. So they got the amount they wanted whenever they wanted after speak with a girl who picked up.the phone ...who said was the manager and after she threatened me saying if I keep talking like that ( loud and upset) she was not gonna process my refund. So I had to open an investigation with the bank for fraud. Fortunately bank was able to refund me that money was stole from this place and the unprofessional staff they have. So be careful what you sing and say to them they just try to find the way to screw people for one time massage.

My therapist Wendy was amazing, listened well and focused on the areas I asked her to while avoiding areas I specified. They have an actual prenatal table which allows for laying on your stomach while heavily pregnant so you can actually get great pressure and muscle release!

Excellent masseuses but outright fraudulent billing practices. Signed up for a monthly plan, which I later learned cannot be cancelled by phone but only in person (which is ridiculous in 2021). Despite cancelling in person before my next billing cycle, I still continued to be billed. Just go elsewhere.

My therapist Sharon is truly amazing. I fealy like a million dollars when we were done with our session. And the wonderful ladies who greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. I will be back. Thanks ladies.

Massage therapist called me three hours after I left asking me again for a tip. Saying he thinks they ‘forgot’ to ask me if I wanted to leave gratuity. I told them they didn’t forget and still asked me again if I was going to leave one when I was already asked 2-3 times just at the front desk if I would leave a tip. It was on a groupon, didn’t feel it necessary to pull out my debit card for a few dollars tip.. sue me. Will never go here again, so unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Can’t believe you would CALL someone and ask them for a tip! Especially THREE hours after I have already left? Leave me alone! Could barely afford it in the first place hence using a Groupon and you’re going to hound me for a tip? Really need it that bad? Wish I left a tip just so I could take it away, how ridiculous lol

Very welcoming staff. Connie gave me the best massage Ive ever had. She truly took the time to understand what I needed done and explained why I had certain pains.

I am shocked at the Covid precautions here and at other corporate massage studios. When I asked if the therapists were vaccinated the answer was. I DONT KNOW AND I CANT ASK!!!What? Political. This is health and safety and for some, life or death or terrible disease.How can you claim health and wellness and ignore the guidelines? Shame on you.So selfish.

Jonathan is an expert massage therapist. He tailors every session to my specific needs and listens to what I want. He is intuitive on what is needed to help me feel better and follows a proper progression to help me grow stronger. His fingers are like magic. He is the best!

Now open after covid closure. They still care about us. They still provide the much needed personal service of releasing the tension. They sanitized before and after everyone. Masks are worn. Smiles are still seen in their eyes. I would recommend to anyone.

Travis knew exactly what spots to hit to relieve the tension I was having at the base of my skull, down my neck, and through my shoulders. This was my first massage ever and felt very relaxed and taken care of.

Wendy took the time to really cover the areas that have been affecting me. I did not realize how knotted my quads were until she started working on them. I am a deep tissue massage kind of girl and Wendy def did just that. I will def be going back to Wendy soon!

I recommend the excellent experience the manager (Brie?)and the massage therapist Vanessa has given me. I will always refer my friends and family here as long as their are still employees of this company.

They are amazing so professional and considerate through out the whole massage they will ask you if you want more or less pressure and if you want them to go over a certain spot again love it there will recommend to anyone

I’ve been going to Elements Massage for about a year now and cannot complain! I have been to the Mesa Riverview and Chandler locations and have had great massages from both places.

Peter was my LMT and he was amazing! Very kind, very professional, and an excellent massage therapist! I definitely recommend this place!

I have been coming here since moving to Mesa in May. The staff is friendly and the service has been exceptional. I recommend an upgraded hot stone and Matt or Peter for male masseuses.

Massage was good and I liked my masseuse however seeing theyre franchised ill be going where the better deal is even if its a little further.

This place is great, all therapists are friendly and care about your well-being.

Very professional but not what I was looking for at all...I left in an immense amount of pain and feeling very much like none of the things I asked for were taken care of. Highly unsatisfied.
