Meg is always incredibly cheerful and excited about serving me and my 3 children. She is kind, thoughtful and always takes great care of us. Our experience is always positive. My kids feel incredibly comfortable with Meg. Our hair always grows out so well after haircuts with her. We couldn’t be happier to have her as our stylist.

I love H2O! I always have a wonderful experience! From the hair coloring and cuts from my stylist Allison, to the hair treatments that I get from the wonderful ladies in the shampoo room, to the facial and spa treatments! Always a wonderful experience!

I have to first mention the check-in staff. They are so friendly and sweet and perfectly professional. The vibe in the salon is energized. The decor is beautiful. And now, my hair! Holli knows exactly what to do to make my hair look vibrant and healthy. And the hair treatment in the wash room! That alone feels like a spa treatment. My hair feels so soft and silky. Jay has done my makeup a few times and it is perfect for my age and still glamorous. I leave feeling confident and very well taken care of. In case you can’t tell, I highly recommend!!

Apple has been my hair stylist since 2006 (once business resumed after Katrina). I was a natural redhead and she always gets my color perfect (like no one else could). My hair is also difficult to manage and tends to frizz when it’s humid but she knows exactly what to use and how to cut and style it for the best result. I have had many people stop me while shopping to tell me how much they love my color and/or style and ask who does my hair.

Savanah absolutely transformed my hair! I felt glamorous and taken care of during the whole visit. She listened really well to me and figured out how to make my vision happen, she helped save my hair’s length and health and now I’m so much confident and satisfied going Bronde/ brunette.

You will love any service you receive from her - from a facial to micro channeling, from a dermaplane to brows, she gives her full attention to your skin and you will love every minute. She can offer suggestions on what your skin needs that day to what products you should use to keep your skin in its best condition. She is never pushy, she’s genuinely concerned with doing what is best for your skin. And after a visit or two, she really knows your skin. She’s so helpful, kind, professional and courteous. I highly recommend H2O’s Britny.

Unfortunately. I had a very disappointing experience. I had to return the following week to have my hair cut . Evened up and finished. Even second time. Stylist left in between my service to meet and greet her next client. Again did not finish my cut. I asked for low lights and was given Highlights. In addition to that. The color was over processed in addition to an uneven cut. Over $280 of waste.

Ugh. Went in last minute for a hair cut. The stylist was so completely rude. They asked if I wanted a treatment which she did not tell me was an additional 45 dollars. Nice! They left me sitting there and said “we will get someone to come take care of you” I waited 15 min before someone came.The treatment was the only good part, which her and her assistant didn’t even do.Then my hair cut came, when she told me she was almost done, I looked at the floor and said “where’s the hair” she literally cut nothing. And it took all of 6 min.Then she came back after taking another client and cut a little more. The hair cut alone was 77 dollars. I have never been treated so poorly by a hair stylist in my life. Not to mention she gave me a nasty look the entire time.At the end she Gave me her card to schedule another appointment, I nearly laughed in her face. I Will never go back.

I came to the salon for the first time to have my hair colored. Sadie was the beautician that did my hair and it came out phenomenal. She was so nice and very thoughtful and listened 2 what I wanted. She is my stylist for life. She is definitely an asset to H2O Salon and Spa. H2O Salon and Spa was so friendly and it has a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this salon for all your hair needs and more.

Received some kind of hipster hair cut that falls in my face. Exactly what I asked her not to do. But she obviously did what she wanted. She was in a rush and didn’t care what I had to say. Each week it gets worse. Have to wait for it to grow out again before I can get it fixed. Nice place. Wife get her hair done and she has never had a complaint. Maybe I got the new girl in training?

I had a Salon appointment on Friday January 13th where I went in to lighten my hair. I stated that I wanted it lighter and to get rid of the yellow discoloration. She made me darker all around and gave me face framing highlights. This is the exact reason I have been doing my own hair for years. It blows my mind that when you go into get a service the provider gives you what they think looks good. I hate complaining but I also hate paying 300 dollars for a hairstyle I did not ask.

Been going there for years and major props to Rebecca, so down to earth and an awesome stylist. The folks who give the treatments are awesome and make the whole visit just fabulous. I am writing because of manager, Kristine, who has welcomed me by name the past 3 visits. That speaks volumes as far as customer service goes IMO being in the service business. Thank all of you for making me look and feel better every time I exit your beautiful place. Y’all are awesome!!! Start to finish!

So I never write reviews on places but today after my experience at this salon, I just felt like I had to say something. This was hands down the best salon Ive ever been to..I had Chelsey ( SHE IS A HAIR GENIUS ) today for the first time. I had dark black hair that I wanted to get lighter. Ive done this many times before and Ive had very mixed results with getting the black out. Chelsey was very nice and helpful and did an amazing job. (Best Ive ever seen) I have a great starting color of light brown with blonde highlights which eventually I can get to blonde. I really felt she cared about what I wanted & keeping my hair healthy all at the same time.The staff was very friendly- The place was clean and relaxing.The girl who washed my hair also massaged my shoulders which almost put me to sleep it felt so great.After I paid, I walked outside and the valet had already pulled my car out & thanked me for coming in..I cant wait for my next appointment! Overall, this was the best experience Ive had in a salon. I highly suggest going to h2o if youre wanting amazing hair.

H2O is my new favorite spa! The staff, the treatment, the complimentary valet parking make the hour drive absolutely worth it! I can’t say enough good things about the receptionist Andrea, for being so polite and welcoming. Dane was my stylist and I can’t recommend him enough. My hair is still suffering some damage and he worked with me for a hair treatment, listened to all my needs and guided me through all of the treatments and what they do. The experience was phenomenal and I will be booking again soon!

H2O is by far the only hair salon I’ll ever go too! No matter where I live, it’s always worth the drive. The staff is so friendly, the environment is so relaxing and calm. I just love it. Brianna is amaing at doing hair and always gives me exactly what I want! She is the absolute best!!! The shampoo room is my favorite because it’s very relaxing and makes me feel great after leaving! I highly recommend this salon to everyone!

Would like to share the recent experience that my girlfriend had with the staff at H2O. My girlfriends ex husband deliberately placed glue in some hair products that she then used leaving her hair in clumps of glued untreatable mess, With her being distraught and depressed about this situation I was able to contact the staff of H2O. Besides being sympathetic to her situation the staff then proceeded to spend the next five and a half hours performing a miracle in not only removing the glue but returning the smile on my girlfriends face. These woman at H2O were not only professional but extremely kind and I would reccomend this salon to anyone. They definitely went above and beyond in their treatment of my girlfriend and have definitely earned a new customer. Holli and her staff are professional and courteous. Thank You H2O Mark Richard

I have been going to H2O for over 3 years now and I have always had a 5-star experience! Im a person who religiously gets my color/hair done every 5-6 weeks and have been to many different salons in the area, but none have compared to H2O.Chelsey is absolutely fabulous and always makes me feel and look amazing. I always feel super comfortable with her and I know that I can trust whatever she does-- even when Im not sure of what I want. I also have to brag on the shampoo staff-- this is probably my favorite part of the whole process! Super relaxing and exceeds every expectation of getting your hair washed.Bottom line-- you will not be disappointed with whatever service you choose at H20. PS-- ask for #chelseycurls :)

I have been a client at H2O for over 15 years! Holli G is the absolute best and is a wonderful mentor to her stylists! I always leave feeling beautiful and fabulous! Dana is my keratin specialist and is equally as fabulous. From color, to cut, to keratin and makeup...H2O is the creme de la creme of salons and spas in the city! Normally when you tell a hairstylist that youd like your hair to be to your shoulders, they understand that means when its dry and will take into account that your hair is curly. The cut I was given was rushed, unflattering, and wouldve been more fitting on a woman 30 years my senior. The styling was so bad she assured me multiple times that it would look better the next day. It seems like I was scheduled in the middle of a long dye job and the stylist was rushing to get me out of the seat to get back to that. I had scheduled the appointment days in advance, so this wasnt me trying to get an appointment last minute.This was 100% not worth the $65 + tip. Ive had better haircuts and been less rushed with super cheap groupon deals.

I went to this salon I hopes of a new hairstyle to give me a boost of confidence. What I got instead was loads of disappointment & frustration! I was serviced by Megan, who was inpatient, rude & the conversation was quite inappropriate (she was discussing her personal business around me). In the end I looked like a mangy poodle and she had the nastiest attitude when I told her that I wasn’t pleased with the style! Now I have to pay someone else to fix her mistake. I would avoid her chair with a 10ft pole if I were you!

The experience is luxurious and holistic from start to finish. Julie is a beautiful remarkable stylist who is timely and very tuned in to her client’s needs. She makes everyone feel special. Laura’s professionalism attends to every detail of creating a lovely spa experience along with the entire staff. I relish my time at H2O!

I won a Mothers Day Makeover from this place! When I say they treated me like I was getting something for free I mean it! They had me sit to the side and the hair stylist took me in between customers! No good customer service whatsoever! They treated me like I was definitely not a paying customer! I wish I wouldnt have gone! I will NOT go there again! Paying or free! The only time I felt welcomed there was with the very nice polite black lady that was washing my hair and massaged it. She needs a raise cause shes the only nice one in there!

Not once, but twice I have gone to H2O to get a couple massage with my sister. I loved it, the customer service was great and the massage therapists were great both times. I am looking forward to returning... I have not been since relocating in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. However, reading the reviews of others were very disappointing, please dont let me down H2O.

I am saddened to say that todays customer service was embarrassing. I treated my 14 yr old daughter to highlights and a haircut. Truly an exciting treat in such a beautiful salon for a teenager. Her stylist applied all of the color with foils and had my daughter take a seat when she was finished. I stepped aside to take a phone call & browse upstairs and within the next 5 minutes she her hair was washed. The color did not sit the time it should to process. About 45min later her stylist came to find her to tell her it was time to get washed and was in disbelief to see that she had already been washed. I informed her she was washed approx 45min ago. We stayed there another hour with washed hair while she did another client. She then dried and cut my daughters hair. I asked her what we should do since the top is a little lighter but the rest is not. Her response at least it doesnt look ugly I paid the $170 charge happily because that is what good customers do fully expecting them to offer for my daughter to come back so that she can receive the proper complete service that I paid for- with the result expected. After talking with the manager more than once I was offered to come back and pay $75-99 dollars for a touch up but they would not have time to dry & she would have to leave wet. WOW that is truly EMBARRASSING customer service. They said I had to pay because my daughter allowed the shampoo. I made sure they understood that she is 14, no one is to blame here (unless you think about salons where stylists actually truly take care of their client personally and not through a shampoo assembly line) My daughter did not go and put her head under the wash sink. She was escorted to shampoo her hair. Id be too embarrassed to walk back in there and contribute to the poor customer service. I will gladly pay $370 to get great customer service somewhere else rather than to walk back in there and pay another penny. Offering to complete the service I fully paid for is fair it is what you should do. Right is right wrong is wrong. She was there from 12noon to almost 4pm and after being so excited is completely let down. The only person hurt here by your poor customer service Is a sweet 14 year old girl. Thanks H2O!

H2O Salon & Spa is the most professional and luxurious business of its kind. The staff makes you feel like royalty from the minute you drive up—a valet worker greets you from your car. All employees, from the receptionists to your hairdresser, are glad to see you. A trip to this locally owned business on Metairie Road is more like a getaway. P.S. Becca is one of the most experienced hairdressers H2O has to offer. She’s been doing my hair since I was a child.

I started going to H2O about four years ago. I decided to go because my previous hairdresser had cut my hair on an angle. I made an appointment with H2O for that Saturday, and they scheduled me with Chelsey. When I got there, the receptionist did not have me scheduled until the next week. Chelsey being the angel that she is, fit me in immediately. She held up the Incorrectly angled cut, immediately identified the problem and repaired it. She even gave me Chelsey curls after she fixed my haircut. It was ❤️ at first cut and curl. Now my mom and sister both go to Chelsey and love her too. Make an appointment at H2O. You wont regret it.

I’m not a review writer and this is my second one I have written. I felt so strongly about the poor service I received that I had to share. My stylist was not on time for my appointment and prior to me being seen by her, she did not clean her station properly. They are more salon-spa combos in New Orleans and I suggest trying “ALL” of those before visiting H2o salon and spa in Metairie, LA. I’m very disappointed in the service and when I spoke to the manager, she was equally dismissive and incompetent as my stylist.

I went to H2O to get my brows done and Holly was amazing! She was so personable and I instantly knew she was an expert! Everyone there is so welcoming. Ill definitely be going back for more than just brows.

Got my hair done with Brianna today and she colored and blended it beautifully and just how I envisioned! The prices were very fair and the salon was very nice and professional. Great experience!

My favorite stories to tell are, one day at a red light someone blew their horn, I turned and a woman asked where did I get my hair done, she loved my color.Then another stopped me in Winn Dixie and asked the same question. Although Ive never been to H20, Ive heard great things. As a working mom, I would love to try anything that this salon offers! Preferably some of their Spa Services! Who wouldnt want to be pampered and it seems like you could really be pampered there. Looking forward to visiting H20 Salon...hopefully very soon!

Ive never stepped foot inside the salon, but these guys have great customer service. I ordered some gift cards, and after ten days of not receiving them, decided to give them a call. I explained my situation to Cherie and she promptly cancelled the previous order and overnighted me what I needed!Thanks Cherie for being so courteous and understanding - you are fantastic!

Ive only been there once and will never go back. I was given an estimate of about $65 when I called to make an appointment for a mans cut and color. When I left (3 and a half hours later), I spent $110. My stylist (I forgot her name) was clearly over-booked. She kept going back and forth from me and 2 other clients. I honestly got the impression that I was an un-welcomed distraction from her real, wealthy clients. If you want to get treated like a 2nd class citizen, spend half a day, and spend a small fortune , this place is just for you. Ive told all my friends to never go here.

Loved having custom color & cut done by Holly. They use Paul Mitchell color with different hues for fabulous tones. Also have all the Kerastase products. Definitely state of art salon & spa. Will do full make up or touch ups so you leave beautiful. Fab spot in old Metairie.

Brianna gave me a cut and color. It IS expensive, but the service is top notch. Brianna and and I talked at length about what I wanted done and she did an excellent job. I will definitely have her do my hair again next time Im in town

Was initially excited to try this salon however my stylist Megan was the worst! She was unorganized , late for my appointment, kept arguing on the phone, unprofessional and actual hair styling skills on the level of my 10 year old…..If I could give a negative 5 star rating for her I would……Do not recommend.

I was excited to try this new hair salon 💇‍♀️ and stylist named Megan but I was left feeling disappointed. My hair was awful. She left my hair with so much heat damage you would thought it was the Fourth of July. Never coming here again!!!!!!

Rudest staff! One hairstylist had the nerve to interject a conversation I was having with my girlfriend. She started arguing with us because she didnt agree with what we were talking about. So beyond RUDE! She is not the only rude employee there!!

APPLE is her name, and 18 years of experience at H20 salon is her fame ! I have bee to just about every salon that New Orleans has to offer. From the Riverbend to Lakeview and plenty in between, no better colorist and stylist as far as I’m concerned.

The only saving grace for this place was the great massage I got from Detra. Otherwise, staff is rude and unprofessional and a couples massage is certainly not what you think it will be. Dont eat your preztels and make faces at each other when you have customers trying to conduct business. As for massage, you are in a divided room not even facing each other. So, how exactly is that together or a couple? My boyfriend couldve been in a completely different room and it would have been the same thing. AND I PAID $170 plus tip! HA. Fool me once H2O.

Was just in Feb.17th and had the worst haircut ever,Told the stylist and showed her a video of my haircut I wanted her to do,she said not a problem and its went bad, then I called do complain to management she never called back.Horrible 🙃 salon and spa, in Nola. I guess they go by the color of your skin and not your bank account.

First glance this place is beautiful and right down the street from my home. However when I went in to fill out an application for employment the staff was utterly rude and acted as if I was taking up time. If they are like this to potential employees and/or client I dont want to know how they treatment others. Looking at the reviews they definitely arent impressive. Wont be going back. Id rather order any products than give them my business. Smh
