Huge shoutout to Sonia, she is super talented and makes my nails look so much better than the inspiration pictures that I show her. This was such a fun process to watch as powder and matte was applied to make the final look.Sonia is great and definitely my new go-to since she is excellent at designs and makes sure I’m satisfied. I’m obsessed with this green/orange set as summer is starting.I also attached pictures of my old set that Sonia did that I loved and received so much compliments on!Thank you Sonia and Nailish!
Sonia was so so sweet and she did a beautiful job on my nails. I came to her with a couple inspo pics and a dress pic and then just let her have creative freedom and that was absolutely the right thing to do. I loved working with her and she blew all of my expectations away. She was extremely attentive and detail-oriented (look at how thin they are! They are super lightweight). The (hand painted!!!) designs came out better than I could have imagined and love them so much!On top of everything, I felt the price was very fair for the service I received. I will 100% go back to Sonia again and shell probably be my go-to from now on.
I was able to schedule online for a same-day acrylic fill and nail replacement. I was greeted immediately and sat right down with Nancy. She saw my inspiration photo and did amazing work on both the shape of my nail and the design. The reception/front desk attendant was too kind in helping me pick out colors that matched. The conversations all around were friendly and it was easy to tell I was among many repeat customers. Nancy did a stellar job - 10/10!
LOVE this salon. I would specifically HIGHLY recommend Mary! She has literally always crushed it by giving me beautiful nails and recommendations. She is also very kind and good conversationalist so I really enjoy going even just for the social aspect. I’m not even kidding I have never been a person that repeat goes to the same salon and same person for my nails. I just never formed a connection like that with a place or a person but here I always go and I always see Mary 💅. Even if you don’t see Mary, I bet you will have an amazing time at this shop because they care about heir clients and make it a fun vibe!!
I was on the lookout for a new nail shop came across this nail shop on TikTok when I arrived the nail shop was very busy, so I was unsure if they was able to see me, but Jessica was able to see me. I absolutely hate my nails. They’re very big and and wide at the tips she barely asked me any questions in regards to how like my nails she basically just assume on the color the only thing she asked me was the shape, and the length of my nails, other than that she didn’t engage in no conversation with me and I felt extremely rushed. In the middle of her doing my set one of her clients came in and she continued to rush my nails. This is not my first time getting my nails done so I know the routine she did not ask me to wash my hands after she applied the acrylic or etc. my hands was Very nasty looking after she did my set my nails are very cricket. One nail is bigger than the other I just really hate my nails and make matters worse they ask for cash she charged me $79 for the basic White tips. I am not happy and I will not recommend this place to anybody whatsoever . I will be getting these taken off tomorrow and I’ll be going to the original nail shop. I know once ever have to pay $79 for the basic white tip. The most that I had to pay was $68 but I pay with no complaint and of course I did not tip because I was not happy and I’m pretty sure she could tell that I was not happy. If you’re not one of their regulars, you will most definitely get treated different and get a rush job done
I’ve been coming to Nailish for the past few months and I’ve been loving it! Chloe has become my go to nail tech and she’s amazing! She does the BEST French manicures! If you show her a picture of what you want, she does exactly that, if not better! I highly recommend this salon and Chloe!
I usually LOVE going here. Been going here for about 4 months now. Every experience with Mary or Jessica have been great. However, today I had Lisa and Cindy. My appointment was for 6:30pm, I did not get in until 7:10 pm. I told them I wanted acrylic, they told me it would take too long since they were closing so they did the fake tips and dip on top. I usually like to get a refill after a set and was told because it was a dip these can’t get a refill. I asked for a French tip with chrome and pearls since these are for my WEDDING, adding my inspo picture here. They asked me 3 times if we could just do a chrome French tip (without the white) but it wasn’t showing up at all. We had to re do with the white French tip and chrome on top (which is what I had asked for). It took them an hour and 44 minutes to get it all done. We were done by 8:44 when they close at 7. I’m not upset about the time and I’m thankful they stayed late, but if they would have just done the acrylic and inspo nails I had asked for it would have been the same amount of time. Overall, it was just way too rushed and because they tried to cut corners it took way longer to get them done since it just did not look good. The nails were also too short and the French tip was just not at all what I asked for. We had no time for the pearls and because the length was not good I had to go without. I got charged $96, charged me for the dip I did NOT want, for the white French, and $30 JUST for the chrome even though it was only on the tips. They didn’t even charge me less because they did not give me the acrylic I wanted. I’m so upset because I wanted my WEDDING nails to be special. I told them I was getting married on Friday and leave Wednesday morning for my wedding in Las Vegas. I work all day on Tuesday and I have no time to get them redone before my special day. I spent so much money on something I did not want. I am beyond upset. Here is what I got vs what I asked for (inspo picture first). I know it won’t always look the same as the picture but I wish they would have charged me less or given me a discount for the next time I come in. I would have been okay if they told me they couldn’t accommodate me for the day and I would have tried to go in somewhere else. I just really wanted an amazing set for my special day and instead got something that was rushed and not on par to the great work usually done at Nailish. I do appreciate that they were nice and trying to fix it, but I just wanted what I asked for originally. I hope I can get a discount or something next time I come in since I will have to pay to get these taken off and for a fresh set since they can’t be filled. Really debating switching places but usually the work done here is excellent so don’t know if they just were too rushed today. However the other reviews seem to point out the fact that they have been rushing too much and the quality here is decreasing.
I initially went to this salon for a manicure and pedicure, based on a recommendation. My first visit was booked by phone for the same day.. My experience was mediocre as the male technician showed little interest in engaging me or touching my feet. Although this was not a good experience. I was impressed by another male technician who was extremely engaged and providing great customer servicel to his client. Based on my experience I settled for only getting the pedicure. Another male employee who presented as a super visor/ manager informed me I would be getting 20% off my service based on my experience. I had not put in a complaint, so I assume another employee or customer may have witnessed my experience. Once I was done with my pedicure the manager was no where to be found.I decided to give the salon another chance and book with the other male technician who I observed providing quality service. I booked the second appointment online, 1 month in advance. I arrived for the appointment and waited over 1 hour for the technician to arrive. I decided to allow another technician to do my manicure. When my manicure was almost complete the technician I booked with arrived. He and the other technicians had a verbal exchange in the front and back of the salon, as he insisted he had another regular customer waiting in a pedicure chair and the other technicians were informing him that I was the first customer. Once he returned from the back of the salon he proceeded to assist his other client directly behind where I was sitting finishing up with the manicure service. He never apologized or acknowledged me as a new client who booked with him. Needless to say I declined on getting a pedicure. I was charged $70 for a basic gel manicure and a design on 1 nail on each hand. Then given a punch card for my next visit. Ill pass
I treated myself to a bday pedicure today and had a wonderful time. Michelle did a beautiful job! She is so welcoming and talented!! Also, the space is great! Very clean and bright with lots of natural light! I recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!
I went for a fill and a pedi, pedi was fine, my mani was fine except i delt rushed theough the process and a day later the polish started to chip around the tips. I was charged for special services instead of a fill which was a crazy amount and was forced to leave a tip in cash. It was an okay experience, dont think Ill be back though.
Finding a new nail tech once I moved was worrisome but the heavens have answered my prayers because Lisa is MAGNIFICENT. Since day 1 she is kind, attentive, creative, diligent and just all around the best. I usually get a gel manicure and gel pedicure, with nail designs. She never disappoints! The other ladies at Nailish are just as great and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences for the last 10 months. Highly, highly recommend!
I love Nailish and have been going here since I moved to the neighborhood 3 years ago. All of the techs are amazing and kind, but most recently I worked with Ruby. I was getting a gel manicure and pedicure for my wedding, and she made sure to be even more detailed than usual! My nails turned out great, and even 10 days later my nails still look perfect! 100% recommend this nail salon!
Took my daughter for mani/ pedi she’s “ 10” in 5th grade they change 10 extra for gel even with the kiddie mani /pedi that was ok 63.00 . They OVERCHARGED me my last visit instead of not processing my card sent me a 20.00 gift card . We go leave the tech says 78.00 I say excuse me ? She goes got chrome do it’s 15 extra on top of gel I’m like what ? She picked out colors in the gel chart she says oh you right it’s 15+ we charge her like adult she is 11 I’m like she’s 10 actually and why would 11 not be a kid but anyway I paid 43 dollars and we got in the car she scribbled on her fingers polis was off the lines I do better myself this was a end of school yr gift highly disappointed. I won’t be returning
Ive been getting acrylics here for about 4 months now, and Ive never had a complaint. The techs listen to what you want and are good at any designs you throw at them! There has been 2 times that I accidentally broke a nail and I went it and they fixed it for FREE - so nice of them. Im even when Ive had to get my nails removed, Ive never noticed rings of fire.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting nail technician Lisa for a nail service, and I must say that I am extremely pleased with the results. From the moment I walked into the salon, Lisa greeted me warmly and made me feel comfortable. She took the time to listen to my preferences and provided expert advice on the best nail options for me. Throughout the service, Lisa displayed exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that each nail was perfectly shaped and polished. Not only did she demonstrate excellent technical skills, but she also maintained a high level of cleanliness and hygiene, which is of utmost importance to me. Additionally, Lisas friendly and professional demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. I left the salon feeling pampered and confident with my beautifully manicured nails. I highly recommend Lisa as a nail technician, as her expertise and exceptional customer service truly set her apart. Ask for Lisa! She will make your day💕
I went the other day and the staff was very nice and they did a good job! However, on the website it says for a traditional manicure it’s $32. The reason I went was because that was pretty cheap compared to other places. However, when I checked out, I payed $52. I even asked if that was rung up properly, and the worker said that yes, a traditional manicure with regular polish was $52. I was just upset because it seemed like I was mislead as to how much it would end up being
I needed a change from my regular nail salon. This was in the neighborhood so I checked it out. I was happy with the service. The stylist was personal and not rushed. She was calm and patient with me as I fretted over colors. I will come back.
I really like this salon, it’s clean and they do great work. Only complaint is they up charge everything like CRAZY. Chrome powder is $15. My friend got a basic gel manicure and they charged her $10 for a “hand massage” that she didn’t ask for and was literally just the lady putting lotion on her hands…which has always been standard with a manicure. There was also no music playing so it was a little awkwardly quiet. Overall would recommend, just check prices before you commit.
I am not one to leave reviews but I honestly had the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I had nail tech Chloe for an acrylic fill. She was so rough on my nails and going so fast, she kept drilling over my skin and not my nail and it was extremely painful. I was so tense the entire appointment and almost in tears. She did not trim my cuticles or hangnails/clean up the edges of my nails, and she didn’t even put on a base coat for the gel polish. I’ve had okay experiences here in the past, but I will definitely not be going back.
Hey everyone, check this out:I had an amazing experience at this place recommended by my wife! I was a bit hesitant at first, but Ruby and the staff totally exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail. As a USMC Veteran, attention to detail is non-negotiable for me, and they nailed it. I highly recommend this place for any man looking for top-notch pampering. Ask for Ruby and you wont be disappointed!Semper Fi!Raymond
I went here for acrylic removal and I was told on the phone it would be soak off. Michelle grinded down the acrylic and then pealed each of them off one by one with an unused acrylic nail. I was wincing the whole time, and she did not change what she was doing at all. When I went to pay she tapped the screen leaving a 30% tip with my card without saying anything and then just walked away after giving my card back. Do not come here if you care about your nail beds.
Wow. I don’t have enough good things to say about this salon. They opened early for my bridal party on a Saturday so we could all sit together and have some fun and privacy. There were 8 of us getting manis and pedis of all kinds. Every single one of us had an amazing service. Nailish is all of our new go-to nail spot. Besides the incredible quality, every staff member was friendly, kind, had an attention to detail, and made us feel amazing. We brought Prosecco to pop and they even went next door and got us OJ to mix with. The salon itself was clean, cute and comfortable. She took group pics for us when she heard us talking about forgetting to get pictures all week! She checked in with me week of and just shared sweet happy vibes with me which got all of us so excited. Honestly 10/10 recommend for special occasions, casual nails, and anything in between. THANK YOU NAILISH FOR HELPING ME START ME WEDDING WEEKEND OFF WITH A BANG! ❤️
Oh gosh! What a lovely group of people! I have to admit I’ve never been loyal to a nail place. But mostly because nothing about the experience was thaaat great. But this place?! FANTASTIC!Every. Single. Time. I have to get my nails done for work *alot* and I am SO grateful I have finally found a place that I can go to for amazing results, everytime!Chi, Cindy and Ruby have been my saviors many times but the energy in the salon is just great! So kind! So attentive! Even when REALLLLLY busy. It’s easy to feel mildly ignored when salons are but I have never (not even once!) felt that way at Nailish!!!You guys rock! Truly! So grateful I don’t need to nail salon hop anymore. I’ve found my go to! (And women owned? How rad!)THANK YOU LADIES!!! 🌈
Give this place a try. Cute salon in convenient location. Relaxing spa pedicure experience with nice massage chair. Results are holding up nicely - photo from day 6! There is opportunity to improve pricing communication. I pointed to the Basic Pedicure ($28) on their menu but didn’t realize I’d selected a gel color rather than standard lacquer and nobody mentioned there would be a $15 up charge so I was surprised at the register. Overall though, I’d go back again for sure.
I have been getting acrylics done for 7 years across multiple cities and multiple salons, and Mary at Nailish is by far the best nail tech I have EVER worked with. I have been seeing Mary every 2 weeks for the past year and our appointments are still the highlight of my week every week. My friends and family are shocked that Mary actually helped me stop my 20 year old nail biting habit!! I love Mary and have come to consider her as a friend; she is so talented, professional, and personable. She always takes her time and does an incredible job. You can tell that she is passionate about her work, so much so that many of my friends have started to see Mary on a regular basis after seeing my nails week after week. I am moving to Los Angeles this month, but every time I come back to visit my family I will be stopping at Nailish to see Mary. She is just THAT good. Attached are just a few of the incredible designs she has done for me in the past year.
Went to book online and expected to pay a certain price and receive all the service offerings per the booking section of the website. For starters, they recommend booking online but save your time (and your money). The prices via booking site is lower than what they advertise in shop. I booked a Deluxe Manicure. Forget about their Cruelty-Free & Vegan polish. It’s a service advertised but they don’t do? The polish isn’t good? Then why offer?? 😳 Anyways, I did not want gel. Second, they pressure you to get gel when you state multiple times that you do not want it. Always trying to up sell gel vs respect customer’s wishes (ie to just have regular polish). The nail tech I had, I believe was Nancy- which if you book online you probably won’t get the person they assign or you choose via site. When customers arrive, the receptionist just yells out the service of the customer which can be heard by all, and whichever tech is available and/or willing to take on the customer does so. Extremely unprofessional and tacky. Nancy skipped a step in the Deluxe Manicure, the scrub, and when I called her out on it, she proceeded to tell me, “it’s too oily for your skin. This one better” (referring to the collagen treatment, which is already a part of the service). Like, what does that have to do with me? 👋🏾There was a customer sitting right next to me (a Caucasian woman) who actually wanted Regular/Basic manicure, but was talked into getting the Deluxe Manicure. I noticed the tech applying the scrub on her. She ended up applying it on me after I called her out, but I was already put off. They must think their customers are unaware. They may be speaking Vietnamese, but it is understood that they talk badly about customers openly amongst each other. We get it. We see it. I have a usual salon, Little Luxuries, in downtown Mpls that is amazing, friendly, they actually converse with you, and take THEIR TIME. I needed something last minute and spur of the moment, also close to home, that’s why I wanted to try Nail•ish again. That’s what I get. I won’t be back. Inconsistencies, feeling rushed, lack of professionalism. Don’t be fooled by their IG page either….Two stars because my manicure is decent and I had additional hand massage time.
Lisa does the most excellent work! She pays attention to all the little details and I always walk out with the perfect nails! I get compliments even after 4 weeks have passed!
So happy I was recommended to this shop! Got my wedding nails done here and Sonia absolutely crushed it!! Amazing service and extremely reasonable prices! I will definitely be back ❤️
I got an acrylic fill and gel pedicure here. Mary did a GREAT job on the nails, took all my requests and was so sweet. Pedicure turned out great too. The place was very busy on a Thursday evening, would recommend going during less busy hours. Since my previous acrylic set was done at a different salon, I was charged for a full set rather than a fill unfortunately. Would return!
I’ve patronized this nail salon for the last 2 years and have had good service overall. I’ve referred many friends and family. Just know, if you receive poor or unsatisfactory service, they do not offer refunds of any kind, gift cards only. Something to keep in mind.
Nailish is the only nail salon I trust in the twin cities area and that’s because of Liam!! I have loved absolutely every new set, and every fill I’ve done with him! Not only is he super thorough, precise, and fast at nails, he’s sweet and kind as well. Attached are images of a CUSTOM color he mixed today at my appointment!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! ❤️❤️
From the moment I walked in the door I had an amazing experience at Nailish. My best friend and I came to get acrylic sets and pedicures for our friends wedding. Chi is a bright ray of sunshine and had us laughing and smiling the whole time. She helped us with colors and knowing about all the services. Felt like we were besties by the time we left. Lisa did my nail art and my pedicure. She was checking in on me the whole time to make sure I was comfortable and liked the shape and art. Can’t say enough good things about them both and the whole experience. Thank you Nailish!
I’ve been coming here for about a year now. They are always great. Today I got a mani/pedi. Sonya did my pedicure and was so sweet and treated my feet amazing! Katie did my manicure and also did a great job, she even added a flower on one of my fingers 😊 I’m ready for my vacation! I highly recommend going here, I always have an appointment just because they are a busy place. I’ve always been able to get in and out no problems!
I brought my nail tech a design CHALLENGE today and she did not disappoint...She accepted and she $layed this look for me! My niece referred me to this salon and I have been delighted with the service every time! They are fun, fast and growing in demand! For the best experience, make an appointment, bring a friend and be on time. I highly recommend the Unicorn Pedicure 💯 a supremely sweet treat for your legs & feet. Thanx again Mary and Chi, and all the staff for your quality teamwork!!
So I’ve been a regular here for a few months because I was having trouble finding a good nail spot , always thought it was decent but my last three appointments were absolutely ridiculous. I request a technician and almost never get them ( so why even ask who I would prefer? ) then I’m told I need to request who I want even with proof in email that I did because apparently I wasn’t telling the truth lol. Also they are always in a rush every time so I tend to get nervous they will mess up my nails every time. This appointment specifically was terrible, one gentleman started to remove my dip with way too much acetone and then the acetone dripped all the way down to my sleeve cuff causing it to stain and nothing was discounted off for that when I brought it to their attention. And then I wanted chrome nails and these just looked so horrible and that’s all I can say it’s not worth coming back anymore they don’t really appreciate regular customers.
My first ever time getting my nails done was with Lisa, and I went back to her for a Valentines Day look! Shes a sweet lady that always makes me feel comfy. I really admire her attention to detail; shes gonna make sure you leave the salon with exactly what you asked for! She does great work. Highly recommend.
I went here with a friend for the first time early this year and I couldn’t be happier that I found this place! I recommended Nailish to anyone who is looking for a great nail salon! The salon itself is beautiful and very clean. All of the nail techs are very nice and do an amazing job. I received a gel manicure and It lasted 3 weeks without any lifting or chipping. My friends both received acrylic gel and theirs lasted just as long with no chipping or lifting as well!
Went in today and had a CBD calming pedicure. So relaxing! The salon is clean, bright, and just has an overall great feel. Will definitely be in again.
Made appointments for 2, walked in, and they were ready to go! Other appointments also walked in and they were prompt with those customers as well. The care to the service was nice to see!We received dip manicures & a standard pedicure, very pleased with the finished products as well!
I came here yesterday for a pedi and a full set of acrylic nails. I didn’t have an appointment but they had no trouble fitting me in as a walk-in. For the pedi I got serviced by Nick and let me tell you, it’s the best pedi I’ve ever had. I have very sensitive toes and I hate them getting touched and I usually jerk my feet when they start trimming around the toenails, but I barely felt anything as Nick was doing his thing. He took very good care of the painting process and he got them just how I wanted them. Will definitely be asking for him next time! For my nails I got serviced by Lisa, whom I had already heard great things about, and boy where they right!! I always have issues when I get acrylic nails; they don’t trim the excess on the back of the nails, the edges are not smooth, they’re not even, the list goes on. I noticed that Lisa was taking great care in the shaping of my nails and after filing and smoothing, she went over the backs of my nails and trimmed off the excess acrylic. I can finally, genuinely say that I LOVE my nails!!! I finally found my nail tech!!! Thank you for making me a happy girl Nick and Lisa!
I had Cindy and the experience was OK, I probably won’t be back though. She was telling me my nails are too short and when I told her my nails are weak and break she was telling me I need to try to grow them out, “they’re too short” — I’m taking collagen and biotin supplements and trying to take good care of them, don’t you think I know they are short and gross 😂 lol. Idk, it’s also so far from my cuticles on my hands.
Nailish is the only salon I’ll go to, been seeing Lisa there for two years and my experience has been amazing each time. The people there are friendly, and knowledgeable, and always listen to what you want. Lisa is my go to technician, she does a fantastic job every time, precisely doing the color, but also recommending what will make my nails stronger and better. The dip manicure is done to perfection, and never chips (I go every two to three weeks). Can not recommend Nailish enough, especially Lisa!
I did an appointment with a person I did not request and I got the worst gelX I have ever paid for. The application was extremely uneven and it looked patchy. They were lifting after 6 days and I had to remove them. It was definitely not worth $100.
I have been going here for a little over 2 years after trying what felt like every “recommended” nail salon. I’ve specifically been seeing Lisa for nails and pedicures and she is amazing. Takes her time but is efficient, is honest about when a color won’t look good on you LOL, and can do really good freehand art. Highly recommend her and Nailish if you’re in need!
It’s a small place for all the people that they are trying to work with. First of all, I loved my nails, Katie did a great job and she was very patience. Here’s the problem. When I arrived, Chi received me and I show her a photo of a mani that I was interested but I wanted to know if that was gel or acrylic, she said that was acrylic but they can do the same style in gel. So she told me to go and pick the color I wanted. When I sat in the station Chi started to take out the acrylic that I already had AND IT WAS HORRIBLE AND PAINFUL. She was rushing all the time and then I heard her saying “bye” and she just left and I was sitting there wondering what’s going to happen with me. So then Katie came and started working with me. She was very good at her job. The only problem that I had is that she started to do the style that I wanted but with the wrong color, she never asked what color I’ve picked. The photo that I show to Chi at the beginning had white but that doesn’t mean that I wanted white, I just wanted the chrome effect with PINK. So she put the wrong color but I didn’t told her nothing cause it was cute too so nevermind. I loved my nails but the have to improve their communication and communicate more WITH THE CLIENT.Pd: I liked it but I think it doesn’t have any sense to paid $77 for this, one color gel and chrome, and just the hands, not even hands and toes.
This nail salon (and nail technician Lisa) were recommended to me recently, and Ive now had two dip manicures with Lisa. She does such a wonderful job--my nails last weeks without one chip. She has also helped me pick out the best dip powder based on my color preference at each appointment, which I appreciate. She has made each visit a lovely experience, and I will definitely be returning!
I personally have never gone to a cleaner salon. The salon itself is modern, bright, and well-decorated. All the technicians are friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. They all welcome their customers by name, which I think is really sweet.Ive been going to this salon for a year, seeing Vivian, and Ive never had a bad experience. If I didnt like my set, for whatever reason, Vivian would always fix it for me. Vivian is the best 🌟The prices are reasonable for over-the-top service. I do not foresee going to any other salon for my nails.
Rita fit me in last minute and did a gel pedicure and dip manicure service for me, she was great and took time to make sure they look amazing. Very happy with my first time there and will be back!!Sonia did my birthday nails, I came in with a design for medium-short acrylics (first time for me) and she was so sweet with all my questions and the nails turned out better than the reference picture! 10/10 experience, will be back!
I’ve been going to nailish ever since they opened and I keep going back because they do such a great job. Staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean. I recently started seeing Mary for my acrylic nails. She literally nails it every time! I bring in inspiration photos and she replicates them perfectly! Mary is so good at what she does.
I’ve been to this place a few times. Never had a problem. Everyone is nice and takes their time. With the events that just happened and no one explaining to me what was going on, I literally felt like no one wanted to help me. I choose to stay because I was invited by my friend.I made an appointment and I asked for a full set. The lady rolled her eyes and told me to sit down at 2. She quickly starts off filling down my nails and stops abruptly, pushes away from the table and crosses her legs and stares at her coworker. Shes yelling and screaming that she was doing a full set on me. All her coworkers are talking to her. I don’t know what’s going on. And she leaves. Mind you, I didn’t say anything besides answering to her what I wanted and what color I picked.Bao takes over and finishes off my nails. While I’m conversating with my friend. I overheard the nail techs talking to a client about her pregnancy. Her tech and my friends tech was told to go wash their hands from the dust. I was never asked if I wanted a design or to wash my hands after getting dust all over which I thought was odd. Also speaking of pregnancy, I’m dealing with postpartum depression. So this experience was not what I expected when I just wanted to give myself some self care. Once Bao was done, he just walked away and I asked the lady in the front how I should pay because Bao disappeared and then he shows up and shows me how to tip after the lady rang me up. I know how to tip, but I felt like he saw what I was gonna tip him so I felt embarrassed and tipped him a little more.My friend moved to the pedicure station and I just decided to leave. I needed to leave.Mentally, I won’t be coming back. I felt embarrassed for no reason and I didn’t even do anything. When I got home, i filed my nails a little more to my liking and looked up the polish I picked out. It’s not Baos fault for his work, but I just felt like no one wanted to help me.
My girl Lisa goes above and beyond on every single time, she is truly talented at both application and nail art. Ive been going to nailish consistently for a year now and Lisa specifically for about six months, they never disappoint!
Got my nails done here many times. They are the only salon I went to since moving to the metro area. Had one bad set where the nail polish would not stop chipping!( I’m thinking bad polish cause this has never happened before) called the shop hoping they would just repaint them with a similar color of a different brand and they wouldn’t do it free of charge even tho I had to go in three times to get them fixed because they chipped so much (three times in a week of getting them) you would think that after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars they would want to keep a customer
Ive been coming to Nailish for two years and appreciate how easy it is to get in! Ive found a couple of techs I continue to return to -- always a great job and SO fast. Ive been pleased with acrylics and gel (when my nails are shorter). When Ive ever needed a repair of a nail or two between services, they happily accommodate quickly at no charge. I would def recommend!
Went with two friends for mani and pedi for a trip. We waited for 15 minutes to be serviced even with an appointment but It was a busy day so that was understandable. I came in with a simple design request for French tips with few added pearls and was told this was not possible with regular polish. Did not receive French tip because they said it is easy to mess up with regular polish. They then pressured me to switch to gel polish after I already told them I am allergic. I eventually told him to just design something that looked nice after he could not do any of the other back up ideas I had. They turned out pretty but it was for my bachelorette and they ended up not fitting my theme. One friend did not even get toe nails filed during pedi just trimmed at sharp angle. No one of received lotion on the bottoms of feet and we all had to moisturize when we returned home. It was a shame that even after speaking up and advocating for ourselves none of us received what we asked for due to staff wanting to rush us through the services. Never got techs name and he did not have a tag.
TLDR: Avoid this place or at least the nail technician, Cindy.I went to get a dip manicure with a friend. I had an appointment booked with a specific technician that had been recommended to us by another friend. When we walked in the door (20 min. early) we were greeted, checked in and directed to choose our nail colors. Within two minutes a different woman came up and asked what we were getting done, we told her dip manicures. Then we went back to selecting our color which we added in buffer time so we could. The woman prompted us three times to come sit down, the first two we explained we were still choosing our color, but the third we just brought the color choices with us. Then she immediately started working on my nails filing them and I was trying to still choose a color. She introduced herself as Cindy, this was not the technician we had booked with, but didnt think to much of it. We had only been there for five minutes at this point. I chose a color I would like and she went to grab it, turns out they didnt have enough of it.. so I had to choose something else. While this was unnecessarily stressful, it only got worse. She asked what Id like, or I think she did, I had to ask her to repeat herself a few times. Masks make it challenging to talk and hear, but we figured it out. I told her to just have my nails not too long, but filed so theyre round at the tips. She started filing and grinding my nail down for the gel. Didnt do any of the typical manicure maintenance I expected, but just started on applying the powder. Im not sure what she was thinking, but this woman filed into my nail so hard she got down to my nail bed on three different nails. Four times I had to pull away and say youre filing my skin. Those nails on my left hand all have a weird slant on that same side. She didnt do a very good job brushing away the gel powder so when she applied the liquid, I ended up with hardened polish on my skin and underneath my nail. On the parts of my skin/nail that she rubbed raw there is now glue there, which at least prevents in from bleeding. Im very disappointed especially because a dip manicure is a bit more expensive and supposed to last 4-6weeks. Which is great when its done well.. but.. that just wasnt the case here.
I cannot in good faith recommend this place or the tech named Ruby if you have short nails. I wanted a sunflower yellow gel, and got this puffy unprofessional mess. There are at least 5 coats of polish here and it is still streaky. Polish all over my fingers, flooded nail beds, and she added a chrome (for extra $15 of course).BIG red flag tho is that nothing Ruby used seemed to be sanitized. Used drill-bits were stored all together in an altoid tin. She cut my cuticles until they bled with a clipper that was not clean. The nail file she used on me was WHITE from other people’s nail dust and was put back in a pile with clean nail files. Even the curing light was dirty.I was miserable and showed a manager because the job you see photographed cost over $55! She was very kind and said they could remove and redo at no additional cost. But then I got sent back to the same tech with dirty equipment. During the removal process, she cut me more with unsanitized instruments so that when I left, I had bloody cuticles which I had to disinfect at home and polish that looked like something I could have easily done myself.
I got my nails done here about two weeks ago for the first time and I fell in love with how gorgeous my nails turned out. The manicurist was so kind and welcoming. I loved my experience! Today I was clumsy and got one of my nails caught in something and it snapped :( I called Nail-ish to see if I could come in and get it fixed. They said absolutely! I got there and they took me right away even though they were pretty busy. My stumpy nail now matches the others and I couldn’t be happier :) highly recommend this place! You won’t regret it!
Lisa is the best!!! She is very detailed and can perfectly match any picture I show her. I could not recommend Nailish or Lisa more!
Vivian is so adorable! She’s alway ready and available to do my nails even when I reach out last minute. On top of that she does an amazing job!! Thank you Vivian for all you do! 💕
Vivian is AMAZING! She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and is willing to do intricate design with a lot of detail. I would highly recommend her and anyone at the shop! 10/10
AWFUL. Not sure why the rating is so high here. Felt like this place needed an intervention on how to run a hospitality business. Did not seem clean and peaceful inside. The towels were dirty. The tv stations were ratchet. Host was lost. Techs were late. Pedicure chairs way too close to the bathroom and break room so constant toilet flushing. The techs are not knowledgable about nail health and don’t talk to you. Filed my nails too thin again. My feet feel raw and legs are scratched. Feet felt rough when I left and I had to fix my nails at home. Felt like they should be paying me. There’s so many nail salons that are so much better. Way too expensive for how cheap it feels. Two plus sides are that it’s next to the popcorn shop and the variety of colors. But they rush you through picking your color every time… the ONLY advantage they might have over many nail salons doing it better. Staff is just rude in general like you’re a hassle or not even there
Omg i never got my nails done before but lisa hooked me up i loved all of it she was so nice ! Every thing was clean and she knew what she was doing. The space is very inviting I felt really comfortable ! I will deff be coming back !!!
This was my first time visiting Nailish Salon. I had a gel removal and a new gel manicure. Vivian took care of me, and did not rush me to pick out a color before sitting down. She was super kind! She soaked my nails before buffing the old gel polish off. She trimmed and shaped my nails to my preferred shape and did a great job with my new polish. I would recommend this salon.
I came into nailish for the first time in October to get a pedicure with French tips and it was amazing. My second time in was today, and that was NOT the case. I asked for a French gel pedicure with clear sparkles to celebrate my birthday on Sunday. The man who did my toes proceeded to paint & cure them all white. I was talking with a friend during this and didn’t notice until that they were all the wrong color until the end. - he didn’t check with me through the process at all. They weren’t what I asked for, so he took them off, and during the process he cut my big toe with a cuticle cutter - it hurt badly. I’m not sure why he was using the cuticle cutter at that point in the pedicure, but my toe wouldn’t stop bleeding, so he proceeded to put nail glue on it, AFTER I told him not to. At that point I told him to stop. My friends toes had been done for awhile and we had to leave.I asked him if I was expected to pay for this, since I didn’t get what I asked for, and I now have a gauge in my toe. I talked to the manager who was very firm in charging me $40 despite the negligence. I am upset that a business would still charge a client for services when the technician hurt them in the process!!All in all, this was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten.
Ava did a great job on my nails! I asked for a peachy/nude like color not too transparent but not completely opaque either (I know tall order) and she nailed it! She also did a great job with my horrendous cuticles. I will be back to get my nails done here regularly, Im so glad they are in the neighborhood!
I have been going to nailish for a few years now and always have an amazing experience! Bao did such a great job on my most recent design! I have had them on for over a month now and they just started to break. At most other salons it only takes a week or so this one has been over 4! 10/10 experience
I was a little skeptical of this place on my first visit as there was a mix up with my polish but it was quickly and emphatically corrected. I love the vegan/cruelty free gel options and the quality of my manicures have been truly outstanding. I even came in after getting my nails done at a different place to have Nailish redo them. I get compliments on my nails when I get them done here. I actually can’t speak highly enough.
I was initially drawn to Nailish for their Instagram aesthetic (simple yet colorful and abstract nail art). I realized after my appointment that most of these photos are “inspo” pictures from other accounts and the few photos of nails art that is from the salon we’re done by one person. I don’t get my nails done frequently, but they are very long and so I love getting fun designs to treat myself. I booked a regular pedi and a gel mani with nail art. When I went in for my appointment one of the employees asked “can I help you?” while working on a clients nails and I could tell right away they were busy. No one asked my name, what time my appt was for, or what services I had booked. They simply told me to pick my color. I was hoping to match my toes to one of the colors I used on my hands so I was disappointed there wasn’t someone to chat with about what I wanted. My pedicure went very quickly and consisted of only one coat of nail polish and top coat that looked like it was on its last leg. All the nail chairs were full so they started doing my nails in the pedicure chair. I didn’t mind initially this, but once again it felt rushed and hectic not to mention there wasn’t good communication from the nail tech explaining what was going on. I was already concerned about who was doing my nails after my pedicure didn’t exactly exceed my expectations. Finally a chair opened up and the same person who did my pedicure came around to give me the manicure. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but once the design portion of the manicure started I got very nervous. The first nail went horribly and she had to redo it several times. The photo I showed to the tech of the nail art I wanted was from their IG account so I figured it would be doable, but this nail tech WAS NOT a nail artist. After a few tries it looked better so I just gave up on asking her to try again because it didn’t seem it would be possibly to match it to the photo. The line was so thick and didn’t flow in a squiggle like the photo but I didn’t know how to explain what I could so clearly see just from looking at the photo. I was very disappointed that they didn’t pair me with a tech that was skillful in nail art (all I wanted was very simple abstract lines) and though I tried hard to advocate for myself and help her through the inspiration, this was not the relaxing appointment I was hoping for. My nails ended up looking OK…but they were so rushed I can tell all the areas that could have looked so better if she would have just put a little more time in and slowed down (the photos don’t do justice to the flaws). For example sloppy and thick lines, not painting all the way to the nail bed and jagged edges to name a few issues and I honestly think I could have done a better job. Their IG is very misleading especially when they allow you to book nail art on their website (just don’t offer it! or only offer it for certain artists!). I would have even waited for another tech but they were clearly trying to get in as many people as possible which was even more frustrating when people without appointments walked in long after me and got in a mani spot before me. I don’t think I would come back here again unless I could guarantee I ended up with who I booked with for nail art and reading the other reviews, it doesn’t seem like this is probable especially for newer clients. Very disappointed because I really wanted this to be my new nail spot!
I’m into week 2, and i have 3 chipped nail despite getting gel. i had 1 the first week and they fixed it for free, but i just called and they said “gel lasts 2-3 weeks.” i’ve gotten gel that lasts a whole month. pretty sure i had a bad bottle, but disappointing that they’re saying gel only lasts for so short. anyways, it was a sad experience. i’ll look for somewhere new now :/ they just don’t seem willing to help. the nail technicians are nice, but not the host or hostess.
Top notch. I visiting from london and chose nail-ish because of the great reviews and they did not disappoint. My nail technician,Mary, delivered exactly what I was after. Great detail, shape, design. 10 out of 10. Also, great vibe in the shop! Everyone was lovely and so sweet to my 5 year old who also got hers painted :)Will definitely be back next time I’m back in MN.
I got a pedicure, I made an appointment and even told them over the phone that I wanted deluxe. When I got there they were nice but as soon as businesses started it seemed like they just wanted to get me out of there, they didn’t even give me the list to pick and when I asked for it then asked a question she took it back, I was stuck with a regular pedicure which I wasn’t happy with. I was overall unhappy and uncomfortable with my experience here. The nails are cute though.
I have been going religiously to Nailish for over a year now. I have worked with three of their techs (Mary and Bao are still there) and I love(d) all of them! I go to Mary on a monthly, or twice a month, basis, however, if she isnt available then I have no issues going to any other techs. I am a flight attendant so it is really important to me that my nails are strong and presentable!
We had a great time at Nailish, both getting Unicorn Pedicures on our 31 Anniversary, and walked out with Colorful, Happy Pride toes. Front door presence is sorely lacking which overall became part of the charm. Good pricing, friendly technicians and a bustling little business with repeat customers galore pointed to my own return one day. Give this spot a shot!!
I decided to try this place because its a new location near me. I was pleasantly surprised. Typically nail salons can be loud and chaotic. This place was the exact opposite. There were quite a few people being serviced, however it was quiet and calming . As I looked around I noticed everyone just relaxing and not chatting. I didnt even notice anyone on their devices. This is a very relaxing atmosphere with music playing softly in the background. The place is also very clean, organized and aesthetically pleasing. Behind the pedicure chairs they have a living wall (actually faux, but looks very nice). The nail tech did a very good job, with very little chatting (I think her name was Jenny). I appreciate that. I actually noticed that all of them did very little chatting, giving clients the opportunity to relax. Im quite pleased with my pedicure and will definitely return. This is my new go-to place, and I highly recommend it. If you need a coffee or another beverage, conveniently there is a Starbucks right next door (also newish). This is a high traffic area now, but I had no problem finding a parking spot.
Figured I might as well copy and paste the text I sent to my friend the moment I left the salon, “ I’m literally crying. Just got a CBD pedicure before we head outta down for a wedding and I’m about to make that a regular endeavor. I’ve had enough pedicures in my life and oh my this was THE pedicure.”Thank you, Cindy.
My nails turned out acceptable and my nail tech was sweet but my entire appointment felt really rushed. It seems like they take in more clients than they can handle. There were steps that were skipped such as not cleaning my cuticles and washing hands (in preparation for a smooth surface to put gel on.) When I got home I had to do some of my own filing to smooth out the edges of my nails. Their pricing is also a bit higher. I paid $56 for a acrylic fill and $20 for simple swirly designs on all 10 of my fingers (online prices said $51 for fill and $15 for nail design on all fingers.)I tried Nailish due to not being able to get in with my original nail tech. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back.
I will not be coming back here. I had an appointment for 10:30 AM but online it says they don’t open until 11 AM so I got here when they opened at 11 AM and they told me I cannot do my appointment since I missed it and I was late. fix your time online so it matches what booking times are. I called twice at 10 AM to confirm if I’m able to come at 10:30 AM and no one picked up so of course I’m going to assume that they are not open until 11 like it says online. And I would also like to add how back in October me and my mother had an appointment and we made it on time and it took them 15 minutes to call my name while my mother was still waiting to be called for her name. we made it on time and she had to end up leaving since she was waiting long and they didn’t acknowledge her. So if they’re going to be so strict about appointments they need to follow the rule on their end with being punctual.
First time getting gel manicure/pedicure. My friend brought me, it’s her usual place. Great experience! Good vibes, the employees seem to get along.Manicure - Chi did an amazing job! She’s very funny/interesting to talk to, helpful, and honest (ex: she helped me decide what color to get and whether to get a design (we went with a gorgeous green sparkle and she rightfully advised no designs bc it would have been too busy).Pedicure - They let me add on a pedicure as a spur of the moment request, and Nick did an excellent job (and was very nonjudgmental regarding my ridiculously ticklish feet).Overall great experience, will definitely come again!
I came here for the first time as a part of a bridal party. The salon is cute and the staff was all extremely nice and professional - plus the chairs have built in phone chargers how cool! That being said, I have no idea what happened with my polish - the colors faded/ran after one day and look nothing like how I left the salon. There is a noticeable difference between the colors on my fingers vs my toes and my pinky. The polish might have just gotten old or damaged some how but after paying around $100 for a gel manicure/pedicure with a tip, I’m not pleased with the result.
Chi is amazing! I highly recommend going to get your nails done by Chi. Chi has been working on nails for over 20 years now and it clearly shows. On top of that, she is so personable, kind, eager to please, and hard-working. She is a joy to have a conversation with and pays close attention to detail.
I have been going to Nailish for the past two years. Before that I would randomly choose nail salons hoping to find “the one.” :) Never did. After going to Nailish, I never looked anywhere else. My work schedule makes it challenging to book in advance with just one nail tech. So tho I first started with Mary, she is so good that she books up quick and I couldn’t get in with her the next couple times. But the silver lining in that is I learned that Jessica is amazing, and so is Liam. Recently a lovely gal named Ava started and I had my appointment with her this last time. Go see her!! So many talented people in this place. They had a fabulous salon manager, Chi- who was amazing. On the ball, friendly and funny. I was sad when I heard she was no longer there. Scheduling my appointment the next time after she left didn’t go so well as when I arrived, I found I didn’t actually get put in to their schedule. But I include this to say that they were quick to remedy that and figure out how to get me in. Which is great customer service. So glad Nailish decided to set up shop in my neighborhood! Tho I’d probably drive the distance if they, or I- ever moved.
Best nail salon in the area!! I hadn’t gotten my nails done since pre-covid as I moved from California and was weary about going to a new place and not liking how they turned out (I’m picky about shape lol); but a friend recommended Nailish and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’ve gotten my nails done by both Jenny and Chi, who are both absolutely amazing!! They are both so incredibly kind, professional, quick and experts in what they do. Both ladies made sure to check if I was happy with my nails throughout the service and genuinely care about complete customer satisfaction. The salon is very clean and a great atmosphere. I will not be going anywhere else to get my nails done- seriously the best in town!! Cannot recommend Jenny, Chi, or Nailish itself enough!!
One of the worst nail salon experiences we have had. My partner had to file and fix his own nails and only one of his feet was worked on during the pedicure. He received no cuticle trimming or nail shaping with his manicure, and his nails were left crooked and misshapen. Sloppy job. One of my feet came out fine for my pedicure, but the other one was poorly polished. We scheduled appointments with specific staff, and neither of us received services from the person we booked with. We were not thanked for our business or asked how the service was. I asked someone a question on staff, they never responded to me. Our experience was dissatisfying and disappointing. We left feeling like this was a huge waste of our money and our business was clearly not appreciated.
I started going to Nailish when I moved into the neighborhood and found a gem with Vivian! She has been doing a gorgeous job on my nails for over a year and I cant imagine trusting anyone else. Her manicures last forever, she is very attentive to what Id like to do each time, and is just lovely to spend an hour with.
My first gel manicure! I went to Nailish for the first time today after a neighbor recommended it. They convinced me to do the gel instead of regular polish, and I don’t regret it. Jessica was attentive and friendly, and did a great job shaping and doing clean coats. I look forward to my next visit for a touch-up!
I’m out of town and needed a refill bad so I booked an appointment with whoever was first available and it just happens to be Mary! She did a great job. Quickest refill I got done, it took an hour. She took feedback well when I asked for the shape to be pointy-er. I would definitely stop here again if I’m in town. Not just for emergencies 😁
I love getting my nails done by Mary. She does cute designs and reminds me to relax, which I need! Mary enhances my nail art ideas but also keeps my nails manageable for me, since I can’t wear them particularly long. Great service for a reasonable price. Her pedicures are great too!
Best manicure EVER. I went to go get a full set and it was the best set i had ever gotten! very nice environment. very clean. the employees are extremely kind and they know what they are doing. if you do want to go i definitely suggest making an appointment, they do take walk- ins but depending on the day it could be a small wait.
On arrival the salon looks like it does in the pictures online, except that it was unkempt. I brushed it off since it was later in the day.One of the first things I shared with the tech was that I was relatively new to manicures, and that this was my second time in a salon. This was probably a mistake on my part. The prep was not great. They took a cuticle cutter to my dry cuticles and tore them up. I believe the disposable nail file was USED? One of the prep tools smelled musty like gym clothes that had sat a while. No massage included.I had booked a vegan gel manicure. After prep, the tech shared with me that they dislike the vegan gel because it chips in less than two weeks and that I should really do regular gel. Why would you carry a subpar product that you just try to convince your clients not to use? If youre interested in this salon because of their cruelty-free/vegan offerings I would recommend skipping this place. They offered to put gel on first so that the nails last longer. I said sure. I had no idea she was referring to acrylic, because she never used the word. Of course the acrylic is not what I wanted and is $20 more. So I came in wanting a vegan gel mani and was needled into gel acrylics. I found I was being charged acrylic price on checkout and had to check their menu online to figure out why it seemed so much more expensive. Their only explanation is well I asked you if you wanted it to last longer and use gel? They brought up paying in cash multiple times during my manicure, and I repeatedly told them I wasnt sure if I had enough cash on me to cover it. They asked me if I had a Venmo for their tip. When I tipped through my card they leaned over to stare at how much I was tipping them. It felt like they were much more focused on how much they could get out of me that actually doing a good job on my nails. I would not recommend coming here.
Ava is such a sweetheart, she is also very quick and makes sure that through the process that you like it. It was my first time and I got red acrylics with black dip tips. They are so pretty and she did such a good job! I tipped $20 with card so I hope she got all of it because she deserves it. If I ever get my nails again I’m 100% going back to her with the cute bunny organizer.
Lisa & Mary were phenomenal! Lisa was incredibly efficient & attentive to detail while doing my acrylic nails, & Mary (she’s SO sweet) did an amazing job with my pedicure. Recommend giving these ladies a visit!
Professionally skilled nail technicians. Very friendly & talented !The most fashionably current techniques available. Highest level of service I have received at a nail salon in the Minneapolis area. Absolutely No Riff Raff! I like my nails Wyld, my nail salons mild. Id tell you who does my nails but shes just too good to share. Everyone there is awesome!
Vivian at Nailish is the best nail tech! 🙌 The first time I ever got my nails professionally done, I had her as my nail tech and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but she brought up pictures and offered her recommendations. I’ve been going to Nailish, and requesting Vivian, ever since. She’s so nice and friendly, and I can always count on her to make my nails look great!
Mary is awesome. She accommodates my specific style and is fast and super sweet. I have been with Mary for 2 years and I am never disappointed! The salon is clean, quiet and a relaxing atmosphere.
Lisa was excellent and did a perfect job with my nails! She knew exactly what I wanted and recommended how to get the best results. I had my nails done two weeks ago and theyre still very fresh looking. Ill be back, thank you Lisa!
I love nail art and Mary is a true artist. Shes such a joy to see every few weeks and gives great recommendations about what will and wont work. She takes extra care and attention to get things just right and I get compliments constantly on her work. I would highly recommend checking her out at Nailish!
The only place I will come to get my nails done! Lisa is the best & I highly recommend her!!
Lisa does an amazing job every time I see her. She has gone above and beyond, learning a new technique when I was getting my wedding nails done. She is kind, quick, and talented at what she does! Im happy to be a regular of Lisas ☺️
Vivian did a amazing job on my nails. Very nice nail shop and good vibes in there! I would definitely recommend. Also, fast and prompt. You can book online which is so convenient! Thank you so much!
I received a fast and professional gel pedicure from Vivian. She was polite and paid close attention to detail with painting my toes and getting rid of dead skin on my feet. Bonus its a small and clean nail salon with cute decor.10 out of 10 experience!
I just found my new forever nail salon this was literally the best place I’ve been everyone knew everyone and the staff were sooo friendly
I have had very mixed experiences here. Sometimes it feels rushed and other times I feel pressure to upgrade, like a pedicure for instance. Most of the time the gel turns out pretty good. I got a polish change with regular polish recently and there was a miscommunication -- the tech wanted to charge me for a full manicure. It was very awkward because reception had left for the day. I very clearly booked polish change online. After that happened, even though I was agreeable about the misunderstanding, she was very rushed and the plain polish bubbled up quickly - it didnt dry right between coats.I would try them again, but they are no longer my go-to.
Vivian is the sole reason I keep coming back. Shes so kind and talented and always willing to try something fun. Her art is absolutely gorgeous and I love getting my nails done with her.
Acrylic shaping is mediocre at best. Techs are nice but not knowledgeable and definitely not super sanitary. Not worth $75 for a basic set with no designs
I was rushed out. It was obvious my technician had another client waiting. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early to pick out a color, and this still happended. Polish was poorly done - missed spots in the corners. The aesthetics of the salon are nicer than other places close by, but the quality of service lacks in comparison.
Lisa and Cindy did an amazing job for my wedding manicure and pedicure. They were able to make my nails look exactly as my inspo! 😍
Must go here to get nails done!!! my nail tech Mary has such a welcoming spirit good at what she does very clean and knows what to do!! Granted there are other good techs like Jessica!!! This shop is the best on the south end of the city!!!
Made an appointment, but it didnt matter as they just had a different person take care of me. My pedicure was great. The guy was extremely detailed and took really good care of me. My manicure was given by someone else who seemed to be in a rush, turned out well, though.
Everybody does a really good job. I would NOT recommend Nicholas. He took way too long to complete a simple gel manicure and neglected my cuticles. This recent manicure was not worth $55.
Very pretty nail salon, unfortunately the customer service isn’t so great, I had asked for a certain design and was told they could easily do it for me but it came out really bad and was given a hard time about not being happy with it so i insisted on getting something els since I am paying a lot of money. 33$ for a pedicure 58$ for a manicure, Also the shape of my nails didn’t come out even. I do appreciate they tried.
This is hands down my favorite nail place in the twin cities. It is clean, well-lit and the staff are friendly. They do a good job too! I love seeing Mary, who goes above and beyond!
Can I please get my refund? The fake nails put on last night where saluting Hitler, they were that pointed up. Im happy you took them off and put regular polish on my real nails. I dont want a gift card because ya guys were refusing to taking off these painful nails off when I can in at opening on the dot.
I never right reviews but received very poor service here. Made an apt for my mother and I but waited 1hr for any service. Other people who I heard had appointments after mine were being seen first. When I brought it up to the employee, they just said they were busy and no other concessions made. My manicure was fine but cuticules were a little messy. I have been a customer here a couple times but not again.
I have been coming here for over 2 years and absolutely love it! They are always so nice and welcoming. I’ve been going to Lisa for these last 2 years and she is amazing! Would 100% recommend Nailish!
Came in for a pedicure, I believe my technicians name was Cindy. I had an appointment scheduled and was seen 40 minutes late. I saw people who had an appointment later than me were seen sooner than me & I believe some were also walk ins. Was also quoted a price different from what the technician told me. They offered a $10 gift card after I let them know I was quoted a different price & was seen 40 minutes late, to which the technician asked the guy why??. I promise I didnt cause a big deal out of it, I just asked :/ I got a French tip design & that was decent. Im sure this experience wont be the same for everyone but because it was mine, I gave it a 3/5.
I’ve been going to Nailish for months now and love it! I drive out of my way to here. Chi is always so welcoming and fun, helping me pick out colors or make up my mind. Mary can perfectly execute any design idea I bring into her. Jessica does amazing dip and gel manicures. All of the staff are so nice and fun and do an amazing job!
