Tantrum NightClub at Dulonos Minneapolis

Attended a club event there a couple of weekends ago and it was $20 if you got in the door before midnight. Was in line from about 11:15 (not a long one) with little movement and enough space inside for us (was meeting friends who were inside and confirmed)…it started to move finally at, you guessed it, midnight, at which time the price doubled to $40. They basically held the line to make more money. To be clear, it might’ve been the folks putting on the show rather than the establishment, but they have to have some awareness of what’s happening at their doors. Deceitful and ridiculous, and I wouldn’t have even stayed if not meeting friends—I’m never going back there.

Honestly, if you are African or Brown this is your home in downtown Minneapolis. You are welcomed and valued here. Its the most cultural club spot in my opinion. Its always a good time in Tantrum. High energy, great DJs and great themes. The drinks are a bit pricey but the music is the best downtown. It gets really crowded so arrive early. Theres a parking lot right next door that has plenty of parking for about $13 also. The cover charge for women ranges between $15 - $20. For men of course, double.

$40/ person. Overpriced. $129 with tax. Ridiculous. Bartenders were tentative.

Cool vibe lots of beautiful ppl and dope Afrobeats.Only real cons are the $20 entry fee and hiked up drink prices. My partner bought us each a drink...$42.00 for mediocre basic mixed drinks. PRE game HARD before you come here. Lastly Im pretty sure vip (booths around the dance floor) are $500... wowzers.**also if youre sensitive to smoking (vapes and weed) be advised theres lots of it indoors.

The dj was on point really. But the smoking indoors was too much and I mean of weed, I think I got contact high. We were chocking literally, I had to go the bathroom sometimes to get some fresh air. Btw they close by 2 pm which was ridiculous. The floors are not leveled so be careful not to trip!

Those bartenders gat a very disgusting attitude. Very useless set of girls . They don’t wanna give you drinks when you order , like they wanna take the drinks home . . Get some Nigerian bartenders for a Nigerian club. Not those mannerless set of animals at the bar. Useless things .

Went here 4/26/23 on a Wednesday night with 2 other ladies, they charged us $20 each to get in including the birthday girl!!!!!!! Nothing for the birthday girl even a shout out :( We left 15 minutes later……..what a waste, they can do better than this

First of all parking is $30. But if u got an expensive assets/ car u gotta protect it. $20 to get in. Drinks r $15+. Not coming back.

I love that they played praise and worship on a Sunday lol. It strangely fit the vibe and was overall a very fun and cozy atmosphere.

The food was great and the music was awesome! It got over crowded and was extremely hot.

Nice place but the indoor smoking sucks, atleast create a smoking area outside

This club is definitely lit!!! I had a great time with my people at Paid and Full records! They brought us top shelf bottles of tequila. Not only that, they brought my bottles out with a personalized sign that read what I wanted it to.
