Great products with a focus on local companies. The staff was delightful & open to explaining the various products. I decided on a local THC beverage and then purchased a fashionable waist bag. Thank you for a memorable visit.

Im regular customer who always go to buy legit elite which made by hideaway. But i bought the new ones five or six of them few days ago, I heard it will not come with black color ones anymore. The new ones last less than 2 days, it has issue. I dont know what it is but maybe filter relted ones. It has burnt taste after a day of using. I might change to another store try new ones

The stores presentation is fantastic. Beautiful, even. The store clerks are friendly, knowledgeable and will help you to the best of their ability to find what suits you personally. The only reason I rank this a 4 is because after asking about a beverage that was out, one of the clerks was aggressively rude when I asked if there was more of an item in the back (immediateno). But thats a fluke. Havent had a problem since!

The employees dont know the difference between a vape and a enail. Please train your workers better.

If you haven’t visited in a while you should swing by for another visit. Got my normal smoking tools upstairs, then some great clothes downstairs. Not to mention the staff is amazing.

Super cool smoke shop with basically everything you could want or need. Tons of accessories in this multiple room monstrosity of a head shop. Super friendly and helpful ppl behind the counter assisted me when I needed it and held back when I was just browsing. Heard from some of them that there is more cool stuff to come! Highly recommend ;)

They have everything. I smoke loon vapor. I tried their version of a vapor at a cheaper price and they were pretty good. I recommend this place. They are worth it. The new look is awsome.

Clean place and cool escape outta the heat! The guy was super helpful and informative and got me what I wanted and out the door efficiently.

Would not let me return without a receipt but the cashier never gave me one. Also it was an error with vape didn’t even work. Disappointed bc they could’ve just let me exchange it but nope.

Bought a jar of the THCa flower and it was moldy, filled with seeds and covered in small plastics that werent observable without opening the jar. After finding out the flower was unusable I was told I couldnt return it as it was opened.

Fantastic smoke shop in Dinkytown. They have a pretty knowledgeable staff that can offer recommendations based on what you’re looking for. Their inventory changes pretty regularly so it’s worth asking whenever you go in.

Love this location. The staff snd security are very friendly. Their staff is very dedicated and a hard worker. They have a great selection of glass and electronics.

Edit: Staff continues to disappoint. I called and asked if the Joystick cap for the Puffco proxy was available and they said they had it in the travel pack. Turns out that pack has a different ball cap. Out $50.What a downgrade! Heard a lot of talking up about the new redone flagship location, but its half the size it used to be. No downstairs, no back area where you drove through to, no tables, no glassblowing, no apparel or art sections, minimized hemp product selection. But hey theres new carpet and cases. Staff had questionable knowledge, asked about a few things and for one of them got a clear I dont know what this is so we dont have it. Type of reply. No reason to visit this location over any of the others like the better Oakdale location anymore.

I do agree with what a lot of people are saying about the employees. I put in a resume and of course they didnt call me for a interview. Id probably be the only person there who would be doing the customer service that the rest of them wont. But I have also experienced the same with the employees and some have actually asked me if I wanted to see anything in the case of I am browsing.

Favorite smoke shop in Mpls so far! Amazing bong and pipe selection! Excellent quality products/inventory and chill staff. You can drop a lot of money fast here bc there’s so much cool stuff!

Nice looking shop, open late, but when we stopped in to get some vape supplies and some other items no one seemed to want to help us. The staff kind of just stood around behind the counter and said nothing. The person who finally did help us was really great though. Ill go back, but hopefully it will have a better vibe.

Great people, there was a new guy but helped me out super pleasantly to the best of his abilities, after realizing he couldn’t give my answers the well fleshed response because of his newness he referred me to his manger who helped me as well, overall this place has a great, clean, and kind atmosphere open to all kinds of smokers, as long as you’re respectful of course :)

I love the Feel Free drinks and I have tried many from other places. I bought 4 from this place and they are really old and are fermenting. I got sick and they tasted like alcohol. Very disappointed. I used to love this place. Stay away from them here.

Hideaway use to be the spot with a great staff, not so much anymore. Now it seems your crew is made up of uneducated Lazy people standing around for a pay Check. Dinkytown location is the absolute worse.. I will say the Oakdale location had some good people working and even a better selection of glass. Still nothing what it use to be. 👎🏻👎🏻

Pretty chill place, one of the couple stores of this nature I come back to.There’s enough here to satisfy most people coming in here. If you’re looking for really fancy glasswork this isn’t the place, but like I said this place will satisfy most people with the selection they do have. Would recommend MNLegit glass for a good budget option with thick locally made glass that will survive a couple impacts, and the MNLegit 510 battery for cartridges was built for ADHD people (has a spinner piece of metal, I can’t stop spinning it as I use it).

Nice little smoke shop with a ton of good stuff. You have a wide array of glass pieces and other tobacco-related items. A decent little selection of kratom products as well. The staff were very friendly as well.

I miss the old store :( the hideaway used to be cool. Now it’s got a corporate feel in an ugly, bleak building. Sad what’s been happening to Dinkytown.

Ok prices but unhelpful staff. Didn’t acknowledge me when i came in, was hesitant to help, tried to hide parts of the water pipe from me. Went back for a reclaim and wax attach but again indifferent staff to making a complete sale for a wax rig. Probably wont go back.

My go-to shop, awesome selection

This spot will always have old Magus books vibes while looking like the best night club in the city that happens to be all about great vibes and magical experiences. Smells amazing and inviting every time you go in. The staff is always so respectful too. Not always the most caring, this industry. Will rarely disappoint you, may even excite you.

Hideaway had a great selection and friendly staff. My issue is about customer service and policy. I picked a water pipe out of the case and never held or inspected it. It was taken straight to the register by a staff member. I payed in cash for the item. Almost as soon as the register was shut the staff member noticed an inch long crack at the base of the mouthpiece. I asked for a refund, relieved I had payed in cash. I was informed they would only offer me 20% of the items value in store credit or a full refund in store credit. There were no similar pieces at this price point. I could understand if I had simply changed my mind, had used a credit card or had left the property. To sell me a broken product, at full price, that I had never even touched, and refuse to refund me the cash I just handed over is really, really terrible customer service. I was calm and polite while discussing this issue but clearly unhappy. I wouldve thought/hoped their reputation and the relationship with their customers mattered more. I didnt ask for a refund because of some asinine reason. Its a large crack that goes all the way through. I can feel it with my nail. I feel like I cant use the ice catch or handle it the way I would if it wasnt damaged. Really takes the glow out of what should have been a fun purchase. Disappointed.

Employees busy small talking behind the counter or on their phones. The other reviews are proper. Hard time getting help and the young lady was argumentative when I asked why.. I stated its always the same people working who are unwilling to help. She stated this is targeting employees and asked me not to come back. This isnt personal.. its basic business... if you cant even greet and sell a product to someone how do you keep your doors open? Weird and rude.Some people go here to actually buy stuff not to ogle college women.You can get the majority of their glass online (The stuff from China) significantly cheaper. Go over to the Rec Centers on 14th Ave SE by Annies and Pho Mai. Hideaway only cares about making a profit.

I went in yesterday looking for some specific pieces without having a lot of knowledge about it! Marianna helped me right away and was very patient in my decision making! 10/10 customer service and prices are on point!!!! Love hideaway my favorite smoke shop in Minneapolis :)

Bad vibes. Couple of people standing around not looking to help anyone find anything. Would rather talk amongst themselves then help someone try to find some high end glass. Still tipped them $12 and never even got a thank you. Left feeling pretty bad. Also glass selection is very sub par compared to what it was years ago. No big name brands, a lot of the same few rigs from same few brands. If youre a dabber and like high end glass do not go here.

This is the best smoke shop, hands-down the employees definitely know what they’re doing and most of them. If not all of them pretty much know all of the products in the store which is really good so that way anytime I have any questions they know exactly what to say so I know what I’m buying. I really do appreciate it and this is the only smoke shop I go to now.

They expanded quite a bit since the last time I was there, Pretty soon it seems they will own the entire block.Overall, they are the best known pipe store around the twin cities for a reason. They have a massive selection but the prices used to be better. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, and the glass is always good quality. Its great for newbies and veterans alike.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They also have a wide range of glass including everything thing from cheap glass to heady pieces. The staff is knowledgeable about all of their products. Overall I would say its one of the best smoke shops in the twin cities, and I definitely recommend checking it out.

I come here often enough to say that Ive had the same experience every time. The people who work there are often really great at answering questions and helping you pick out stuff, especially for beginners. They usually have some really great deals on certain days, as well as having big events in the parking lot with live bands, food, and art.

Had a wide selection of glass options for all of your smoking needs along with helpful information in case you were unfamiliar with certain items in store. They also have many other items for your convenience such as grinders and storage of your smoking herbs.All around quality store, good prices, and friendly people. Worth the trip.

I absolutely LOVE HIDEAWAY! Ive been shopping there for over 10 years and Ive never been dissapointed with their selection or their customer service. I gave up on shopping anywhere else for my smoking accessories because no one ever compared to their prices, selection, or quality. Even when Im just window shopping its always fun to pop in and just take a look around and visit with other shoppers or the employees. The owner, wally, is a great guy too! I remember going in when it was still just a small shop and sitting and talking with him several times. I highly recommend it for your shopping. Go and check it out! You wont regret it!

Wide selection and knowledgeable staff. I dont use their products but I am familiar with the merchandise and they have one of the wider arrays of product in the metro for this type of establishment. Their staff also is very knowledgeable and they are able to answer questions and offer feedback about the various offerings.

Favorite tobacco shop.. Lots of different options, and also stock local glass which is nice. Good pricing, good deals, quality glass. Employees are always super helpful and really friendly. They have awesome deals on holidays (420, black Friday). Located conveniently by the U of M with all of the college kids

Havent been there in about 4 years, I decided to go because I had a broken part I needed to replace; and discovered their store is now huge. The staff were very nice and extremely helpful. The selection, which was always good mind you, has improved. This place has transformed, for the better.

They make the service you get fast... but so far I havent had a great experience here. They sold me some ecig coils that were exactly what I said several times I did not want, which was the last time Ive been there. They kept telling me it was a really good deal and finally I decided to just stock up, even though I had three... however they have a no return policy. So even though its their fault they dont take the fault, which kind of upsets me. Prior to that, an employee ensured me that a couple of the things I got Id just love and I feel like it was more trying to sell what wasnt selling than actually helping me out... they have great prices, and Im sure if they want to talk to you theyre very helpful but I always feel very rushed by everyone except the manager.

This place was cool and the clothing was neat, but the staff were super watchful, to the point where I felt like I was being followed around the store. The clerk who rang me up was rude and had an attitude. Prices were a bit high, too. Won’t be coming back; go to Gina + Will around the corner for a friendlier experience.

Ive been a customer here for years. Its always a hit or miss with service. I was here yesterday, checking out the art cases, looking for something to buy. Meanwhile Im trying to get the attention of 2 employees who are gossiping.They both look at me and then go back to their conversation. I went up to them and waited until they finally asked whats up in a very youre interrupting us tone.I tell them Im looking for a dab rig and my price range is up to $500. That finally got their attention.Dont go here if you want to be treated like a worthwhile customer.They were gossiping about a guy thinking a $50 pipe was too expensiveFinally, Im directed to someone who knows about what I want and he literally tells me to go to a different store. He then recommended legacy glass and I tipped him for being honest!EDIT: found exactly what I was looking for at legacy glass. Will never go to hideaway again

Probably my favorite head shop ever! The staff is incredibly nice, and they have killer deals on everything, but especially their hookah sets. They also have some really impressive glass on display here, almost gallery status.

I dont smoke, so i cant speak on that portion of the store (though it looked popular, based on the number of people looking at stuff), but i absolutely loved the basement and all the cute clothing pieces they had! lots of vintage stuff in the room off to the right.they also had some really cute and fair priced accessories in the left side. ended up with a cool keychain and some holographic scrunchies! would def recommend if youre into funky and fun fashion.

Bought a roll your own cigarette tool, but they only had 1 of 3 items I needed. Came back to return it less than fifteen minutes after purchase, because I was going to have to go to another tobacco store anyways.The shift lead or manager claimed my reason for return and request for refund was not valid. I would not recommend patronizing this place.(Additionally, two of the employees I interacted with were nice, but completely unknowledgeable. Clearly, the business has not even minimal training for new employees.)

Great customer service when shopping but you better hope nothing goes wrong with what you purchase! Knowledgable staff told me only about 20% of the cleaning process and not much else because he was far to eager to make the sale on something I wasnt interested in but kept pitching until I bought it. Now I have a piece of worthless garbage that they could not care any less about. Horrible customer service when I contacted them over the phone. Been going to this place since they opened and Ill never go back, although Im tempted go steal my tip back from em. Very disappointed. Always go with your gut and if you know more about something than they do dont listen to a word they say. Buy what you came in for, not what they try to sell you insistently. Better yet, just go somewhere else and not here.

Ive been going here on and off for years, and lately I find that everything I buy from here is overly priced and/or its not up to par. I bought a grinder for $11 to replace one that I bought months ago from another place for $5, and the $11 one is TRASH. Its still a cool place to go to do some window shopping, and the customer service is on point.

Little to no glass or attachments in stock. On my recent visit I could find anyone that knows anything about their products.the knowledgeable staff, endless glass, and the newest new of paraphernalia is all but gone. Maybe it followed where the 10footer ended up so long ago..Change my mind

A great place to stop when youve forgotten your stuff at home. Very helpful that they were open as late as they were.

They gave me the wrong coil for my tank. I came back in and they couldnt exchange or return it because it had been opened. It was a $6 purchase returning or exchanging shouldnt have been an issue especially since the mistake was on them. My experience was bad but it seems like a cool shop.

Theyre straight-up with everything theyre selling, and knowledgeable on whats on display there. They have a better selection than most of the other stores around the Metro and their prices are generally cheaper. I generally always go here, and I usually regret my purchases from anywhere else. People that give this place 1 star are just crabby.

Its really just a good chill out spot. Unfortunately the basement is closing so what i went in for wasnt available. And the cbd products are nothing special or out of the ordinary. I was hopingfor better edibles but nothingstood out. But the water pipes? Oh the water pipes are the best thing about this place. I saw some of the most beautiful pieces I have seen in ages. They have some very talented suppliers.

Since they expanded, it seems like they have a higher quantity of products, but a lower quality. The selection of high quality hand blown glass has deteriorated. Still, theyre a one stop shop and probably have what youre looking for.

When I went there I was immediately asked if I needed any assistance and was provided assistance for a good hour while making a decision on what to buy. Then while browsing around I was offered assistance whenever I was looking in cases. Awesome customer service, great prices, awesome layout. Ill be going back to this location regularly.

I recently bought a lighter there that literally did not work at all. Had NO juice inside it. And, they are constantly out of product. Some people are helpful and kind, but then there are a lot of employees lately that when I say I am looking for a specific product (ie: a type of CBD flour) they claim they have not ever had that, or havent had it since summer even though the last time I went in, October, I bought 3 containers of it. It is not helpful or really all that appropriate to dismiss a customers knowledge as incorrect constantly or challenge them passive aggressively. It makes the shopping experience very awkward. A customer should not have to justify or try and prove that they have indeed bought a certain product recently?? I end up leaving with product that I have to settle for. I really liked the fresh CBD bud, pre-ground in the little green containers. Id stock up, since like I said, they are CONSTANTLY out of product. The other disappointing thing I would say is how the rewards system works. I spend a fair amount of money at hideaway, because it is the only place I go, and I make sure to have my Hideaway rewards card scanned each time. And every time, I ask if there are any points I can use (they claim once you spend $100 aka 1,000 points you get $5 off), and I know for a FACT because I keep my receipts that I have spent over $100, but yet each time the cashiers say no, you have to reach x amount and re-explain the point system to me, in that same type of dismissive talking down to you way. It is then often too uncomfortable to try and say Hey, I actually HAVE spent that... Which I did try to mention once but it went poorly because of the attitude of the employees. Not all the employees are passive aggressive or dismissive. Some are really helpful, knowledgable, patient, friendly, and nice. Those are the types of people that create a good environment to shop in I think. It is always nice to not feel like I want to escape the shop as fast as possible, ya know? For the pure fact of feeling judged... And maybe if the atmosphere was more friendly people like me would spend more time looking around and buy more even! Just a thought. I mean this feedback to be helpful, Im a genuine person, not trying to be a passive aggressive or rude reviewer type. I just lately have felt really uncomfortable and sort of upset about all those instances. The lighter that did not even work, the constant product that is not there and then employees that claim I am incorrect even though I have the exact product at home that I bought only a month ago, and also definitely the rewards system just not adding up. I do not want to take my business elsewhere. Again, I especially liked the homegrown CBD yall made and pre-ground for us. The Hit N Runs. NOT the pre-rolls, but the bud/flour that youd put in the little green containers for like $10 or $15 bucks. I would stock up, and am nearly out. Sometimes I call ahead and am told you have it, I come into the store, and it is not even the right product :( Even though I clearly described it and the employee confirmed... The photos shared on google need to be updated. The photos look much more exciting than the store actually is.The basement clothing area is.....weird to say the least for a smoke shop. But you do you.The upstairs was extremely disappointing. 90% of the glass for sale is not decently priced so instead youre purchasing a glass art piece and not a piece that youd want to use daily. The artistic pieces arent even pieces that people can usually afford and most people probably just say thats cool to. Apparently renovations changed them for the worst. I thought I was taking an hour long drive to the fun smoke shop it used to be and instead felt like I was in a doctors waiting room with 1 employee.The water pipes they did have for sale were either teeny tiny or far too large to store once at home.The gentleman who finally noticed my fiance and I staring at the wall waiting for help, Im pretty sure had just got in from a 420 smoke break because he looked out of it and his speech was a little off.All in all, really disappointing for a smoke shop everyone gushes over.

Worst customer service I have ever seen in retail. The younger cashiers could care less about your interests or needs. They actually come off as upset that they have to help you. I visited a couple weeks ago, waited about 20-30 min for help. Young female cashier was super rude and tried to upsell me on everything in the store. Gave me dirty looks when I passed on suggested items. Then when I was rung up two of my glass jars purchased were cracked because of negligence in bubble wrapping. I unfortunately will not be returning to one of my favorite smoke shops in the Twin Cities.

Still getting used to the renovation, but now its a very bright, clean, and wide open place. Great array of pieces and materials, lots and lots of other stuff and gift ideas too. Can buy cdb in oil and flower, even pre-roll Js.

Very neat place. Some people have worked very hard to make some of these pieces. The employees are very helpful, they take their time to help you find whats best for you and theyre not out to get your money by any means. Will definitely be back!

They have some cool glass and deals sometimes. This last visit, I went to buy tobacco, and the security guard would not allow me in because he did not like how I parked my vehicle. This place is pretty chill, when their security boy does not try to act like a meter maid.

Very knowledgeable staff. I was buying a gift and really didnt know a whole lot about the products or anything about quality. I was imagining with the staff to be very condescending, but it was just the opposite! plus they loved the gift!!!

Every time I come to this monster of a smoke shop I am quickly greeted and asked if I’m looking for anything specific , staff is always knowledgeable in their products and very friendly. Also love their loyalty program ! My number one place for glass always.

Very nice and large head shop. A massive collection of glass pipes, bongs, bubblers, huukas etc.... a large selection of Kratom, CBD, Delta 8, air fresheners, papers, blunts, t-shirts.The store is big and divided into two rooms and plenty of friendly staff to help you out, answer questions and give advice to beginners.

Customer service does not exist here. They sold me a hookah they insisted was quality and I got home and the unit was missing a bowl, a ball bearing, a grommet and the one grommet it did have stunk like it had been used. It was dry-rotted at any rate. I came in and wanted my money back for the garbage quality and complete sales staff incompetence but rather than calmly answer my questions, their version of a bouncer just kept pointing at the ALL SALES ARE FINAL line on the receipt and reading it aloud whenever I tried to make any point otherwise. I will never be back. Untrained staff with zero knowledge of their products, and when they make a mistake, its the customers fault. As an aside, we were in the shop for 15 minutes while the sales staff chatted amongst themselves before asking if we needed anything. Pathetic. Take your money elsewhere.

WONDERFUL place, HUGE selection and AMAZING people!!! My husband and i are truck drivers and the guy that helped me was GREAT!!! He helped me find parking for my 18 wheeler on an incredibly busy street and then was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I will stop here every time im in town from now on!!!!! Would recommend this place to ANYONE.

If you’re white the staff will be more then happy to help you. If you’re black stay away from here I had the staff follow me and eye me very closely. Despite spending 60$ on stuff here they still treat my like a convict every time I walk in here. Can a brother shop for a new bong with out white girl hovering two feet behind me¿

Ignore the reviews implicating anything to do with quality issues. All customers are informed that all items are final purchase. If your cheap vaporizer breaks, or your smash your bowl, get over it. Heres the skinny: The Hideaway is one of the few places that support (buy) art glass and have it for sale. Salt, Brandon Martin, Fr333k, Eric Ross, theres lots of good names represented!!

If I could rate 0 I would. I’ve purchased so many items here, just this past week a new vape mod. Stops working within 2 days and they can’t refund or even try and fix it for me. $70 bucks wasted to this stupid company.No longer coming here for even small purchases, as well as my group of friends have expressed similar instances and will be taking our business to Smokeless Smoking who actually know what they’re doing. You guys usually send us to them half the time I come in anyways. Good luck on referring people to another company, hope that works out for ya!!

Denied exchange after 2 hour journey over an easy to fix problem with a product that was being exchanged within 24 hours of purchase, never even used. forced to buy a new product and denied any contact information. dont even get me started on the non-existent customer service she didnt even listen to what i was saying. didnt even look at me while i spoke to her.

After some bad experiences trying (and failing) to get one at other stores in the area, I set a stopwatch and said if nobody helped me in 10 minutes, Id buy something online.Less than a minute in, Im being helped by a very knowledgable salesclerk. Walked out confident in my purchase, having saved $20 than I would have gotten online, and I plan on coming back for future purchases!

Remodeled, large open spaces, lots of bright light, friendly staff as always. They sell clothes in the basement; fun to browse through while your friends taking forever to decide on something. :b

The girls that work there r so informative, they really know their stuff!!! They can answer any question about anything I dont know if they take classes or what to keep up on all the new merchandise and products but I wouldnt go any where else and I wouldnt have anyone else help me but Phoenix or Stevie! My friends only use these two ladies for help too! Even my bud from Cali!!!

Recently expanded, this is a great place for your glass and smoking needs. MN Legit selection is great and top notch quality, especially for the price. Just wish they carried my favorite eliquids, Jabako and Lucky Number. Luckily they are available nearby at Smokeless.

Walked in through back doorWas not locked. Dude who said was his shop flipped out. Said was going to call the cops cause we broke into his shop. He went on and on walking frantically in circles while ranting then finally circled out the door, so we looked around had lots of cool stuff. So dont go through the back door.

Easily my favorite smoke shop in the Twin Cities. The staff is knowledgeable about all their products, they have a lot of traditional pieces, and a lot of custom beautiful glasswork made by local artisans. They have a clothing area downstairs, and also have vaping tech, and pretty much anything smoking related you can think of.

I love the selection that it has,and the fact that they also support local artists. The rewards program is great as well. I would highly recommend people stop in for a look.

They are remodeling right now its October 8th. Its way bigger than before but they dont have it all set up yet. There is still a large section that is set up and there is a large selection there that Im sure will have so many more great things to look at or buy when they finish. Go take a look at the work in progress.

Long time customer, went in today to get CBD products and the chick with pink hair was pretty absurdly rude to me and my wife. Literally rolled her eyes at us when we asked to see the CBD products . Claimed they only had one prefilled CBD pen and was super short with us. Wouldnt have grabbed anything this time around, but we were in need.Bought it and took it home and it doesnt look full. not a great trip. I have loved hideaway for years but they need to select more helpful staff, mainly anyone who will be helpful and nice.

Their management is Terrible. They sell products and then discontinue selling atomizer or coils within a month of me buying the product. The attitude is always Youre an idiot for buying our shoddy products. I only come here when I have to now. Dont let those pretty hippies hustle you. Buy online or choose a retailer that supports their customers.

They are over-priced compared to other tobacco shops. They mark up their prices by at least 50% depending who you are (eg. student who doesnt shop elsewhere or a female). Theres a reason why they dont put prices on their items because they can mark it up.They also sell e-cigs with defective battery. They will not replace or refund you if your Juut wont work the day after you buy it.The only reason people go there is because its the only shop that can sell menthol, and that its open late. I do not recommend it, take your business elsewhere.

Super friendly, super convenient, super chill. I appreciate the wide variety of products and helpful staff. I use CBD products as part of my health regemin, and Hideaway has one of the best selections Ive found in the Twin Cities. Check out the wide variety of incense in the basement, too! Forget what you know about tobacco shops because the remodeled Hideaway is redefining what a smoke shop can (and should) be.

I bought a slick pad at the Hideaway and it did not work at all.The girls there look rough, the girl with the blue hair turned down a large sale after being too flustered at the cash register. The glass is expensive and the parking is bad. YOU MUST PAY TO PARK!There are many other glass shops in the area that you should look into!

Im a real glass collector and actually know what Im talking about. The owner wally is a sketchy unethical person that openly rips artwork off. Over the years hes sold bath salts, k2, and whip its. Never go here if you take glass seriously. Go to legacy in Uptown.

Ooo Cool shop! Upstairs is a cool smoke shop with dazzling tabacco pieces as soon as you walk in. They have many high tech smoking devices and other smoke shop needs. It is more on the expensive side of things but you do pay for quality! The second floor has Art work from these amazingly talented local artists!(support them!), they also have a wide variety of invents, incent holders, Journals, and even a clothing store! Totally worth checking out!

Been shopping there for years, went to check it out after the lockdown was lifted. Not a single employee wearing a mask. Turned right around with disappointment, wont be back again with that type of irresponsibility.

I walked into a Hideaway Wonderland! The glass was impressive and the displays were amazing, the staff loved their jobs, and I was engaged from entrance to exit. Huge place. Check it out.

The product I was looking for was pictured so I called to make sure they had it and they verified, when I got there less than 30 minutes later they were completely sold out.

I understand having to see peoples Identification but when someone obviously is over 18 I find that quite ridiculous. Most 18 yr olds dont have gray hair and bi-focals. I will make sure to tell all my smoker friends to avoid your place of business.

Love this store the only issue Ive ever had is my cousin didnt park in the right lot and the dbag owner of the towing company on the U campus sits behind the building and waits for a people who make the mistake of not paying and gets them towed even for being in their for 5 minutes.

I miss the old hideaway vibes. Now it looks too apple store. But Sarah with the pink hair helped us yesterday and she was amazing. Give her a raise. For real.

Love this place stoped everytime I visit the cities. The remodel has really up scaled the place. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection with groovy cloths down stairs.

The shop and employees are great, however the CBD flower, not so much. At least the Hypnautyc brand I purchased was trash. Smelled like homegrown ditch. Tastes terrible, is extremely harsh, does not smoke well at all. You have to damn near collapse your lungs just to get a decent hit and by that time your throat is on fire because it’s so harsh. Stay away from Hypnautyc from Legit Growers LLC.Edit: I will say, despite all the negative comments I have about the product mentioned above, it does work very well for anxiety. It works well, it’s just not a very enjoyable experience smoking it, which is unfortunate. I’ve done my homework now, and will be purchasing online to try some other hemp flower that’s supposed to be better.

In my opinion, Hideaway is so much better than any of their competitors. However, I did purchase a Pax vaporizer that stopped working after a week. They would not replace it and I was unable to get help from the manufacturer.

Spent $350 and threw away the receipt. Found out the next day you can get points for your purchases, was told “tough luck and we can’t be expected to make up for it” even though they had my card number/purchase/account.... wow

The workers don’t know about their products, don’t answer the phone, and treat customers like an inconvenience (even when there’s nobody in the store). This place has expanded, but seriously declined in quality and customer service.

The sterile feel of the big, whitewashed rooms certainly screams, Lets get medicated! But in an offputting, uncomfortable way. Not a fan of the makeover this location recieved. Selection was picked over at best. Perhaps thats due to the renovations? Will probably just make the 30min drive next time to Oakdale.. Smokedale. At least I can get what I go there for- not a whopping were out to all 5 things requested..

Basically just a bunch of snobby hipster pot heads working there...when i do finally get some service, they act as if im a burden and im killing their buzz. theres maybe 2 or 3 people i actually like when i go there...other than that, its your typical too cool for school trendy, posers.

I went in to buy a vape and bought a dripbox. The employee tried to charge me double for the vape liquid. Also I wasnt told that I had to buy the battery separately because its not included. When I went back to buy the battery I was coherced into buying a charger because they said that was the only way to charge the battery (that was false, drip box has a charging port for the battery). I spent thousands here and after the last few times of them trying to rip me off I dont think I will be coming back. I will just go around the corner to the Habibi/Tobacco store instead.

Best selection of anything you could hope to need. Hookah, vapes, incense. Its right next to u of m campus, Im sure they do well. And all the nearby food couples nicely. Good location, good prices. Just bring a couple quarters n park on the street for a few mins.

DO NOT BUY KRATOM HERE. Its $30 for 50g, $10 for 10g. That is the highest price I have seen for kratom literally anywhere. Its actually atrocious how expensive it is here. I can buy 150g for $25 at nutrition city or any other smaller headshop. I repeat, if you like kratom, do not buy it here. Go to nutrition city in uptown.Also the new remodel sucks and this place is the Walmart of low quality mass manufactured local glass shops. Good for rich U students but not anyone else. Dinky town hideaway has raised their prices and lowered the selection for the clothing they sell now. Id much prefer the hideaway in Oakdale, smaller but still the best one.

Lots of open space, there are some beautiful glass pieces here (quite spendy for these works of art), but aside from that their selection is minimal and lacking.

Instead of asking street performers (outside neighboring buildings) to leave politely, management immediately jumps to threatening to call the police. Top Smoke shop in the twin cities by far. Prices always lower than everywhere else, by best selection around, only place that holds a candle to this place, is smokedale in Oakdale.

Hideaway is a great headshop BUT the owner only hires girls. And some of them know nothing about heady glass/scientific glass.
