First time @ Massage Envy, Missouri City for a 60 minute facial. My Esthetician, Brandy was awesome. She has medicinal hands. My skin is brand new, fresh & clean. Thanks Brandy. Hope to use you again.
I purchased a massage membership for my wife about two years ago, which she uses sporadically because of her schedule, but still enjoyed. She uses the massage credits as needed. My card (which was attached to the Massage Envy account) was stolen about 4 months ago and I had the card replaced. I forgot to update Message Envy re: new card so 4 payments were missed, but my wife still has 7 massage credits. She tried to make an appointment, but was told she could not access the seven credits she accumulated (which were already paid for) until the four payments were taken care of. She was told there was an enterprise policy prohibiting access to credits already paid for. When I got involved I agreed to pay the missing payments, but wanted to end my membership, but was told only a manager could do that and no one knew where the the manager was, but I would probably get a call back in two days. I inquired about the managers name (Julie Metcalf) and was given the wrong name (Alex P.) and initially told they dont give out full names. The person I spoke with eventually indicated I could make 2 payments and the account would active again and my wife could access her credits (already accumulated). I would encourage 1. empowering staff to either have more access to managers; 2. Create the ability for staff to terminate memberships (especially since they cant reach managers); 3.educating staff on operational details and customer service skills (i.e. knowing managers name, calling or emailing client if there are multiple lapsed payments). Frustrating experience.
I continually have my 2 hour appointments changed from 2 hours to 1 hour, and my appointments keep changing without my consent. Can never get anyone to return my calls either.
The Good: My massages were good.The Bad: I had a massage with them a year ago. It was supposed to be $65, but they told me if I pay $110 instead, then I can come back and get a free message. So they gave me a promotional card to present for my free massage. Well I came back expecting my free massage and was told the card was only worth $51 towards my free massage??? So they made me pay $24.So, essentially, two massages wouldve been $130. I paid $110 for the first massage and $24 for the second massage. So I ended up paying MORE than I would have if I had just paid for both massages separately.Update: Manager contacted me and told me it was just a mistake and gave me a refund of $14...
I had a conversation with the employee about canceling my membership due to a death in the family. He explain the steps to take and emailed me the cancellation form. I filled it out and emailed back.Received a call from Sara the Manager on Feb. 3rd, she stated under no circumstances I couldnt cancel my membership and that the employee gave me the wrong information about my cancellation. She stated very bluntly you want be able to cancel due to your contract ending in Aug. and she can place the account on hold for 6 months but this will extend the contract 6 more months after August. Or if you live more than 25 miles away that this will be the only way you can cancel.And she stated very ugly this your only option and continue to pay your membership.Very rude and nasty.I explained to her I didnt want to take this option because I dont know whats going to happen in 6 months. Further more another employee told me I would have to pay $45 when I come in for my appt.I emailed her back today to let her know that I live 29 to 30 miles away from this location. Never received a response back.I will file a BBB complaint. Ive been a member since 2010 and was treated like a out cast. The only reason I come to this location because Domingo gives the best deep tissue messages.The owner need to read and question what goes at this location.
I would not advise anyone to do business with this place. I signed up for a membership for my wife as a gift. No one explained that the membership starts in thirty days. My wife goes in to get a message and they want to charge her 68 dollars. I go in and speak to the manager on Sunday to cancel the membership ship and any other appointments and she rudely stated that she could not cancel it So I ask for her bosses number which she refuses to give but took my information and says they would call me on Monday. needless to say no one contacted me at all. I take a look at my credit card and three days later its a charge for 68 dollars. This place is a RIP off only looking to scam people out of there money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
I am totally not impressed with this location communication. On my first appointment the front desk staff ran late and I had to wait for 15 mins in my car -- I understand life happens but this is not acceptable. I tried to schedule a follow up appointment this past week. Unfortunately after several (3 to 4) phone calls, the phone was never answered. I left 2 voicemail messages but never received a follow up call. So, I decided to stop by this location but it was closed but the voicemail message states they are open until 7pm but signage on the door has 2 different hours of operation schedules -- this is all too confusing!
I booked a same day appointment online. Unfortunately something came up and I was hoping to reschedule...however when I called this location I was told the I would be charged for the session. I was then told that you had a 24 hour cancellation period. Which is fine however there was no mention of this 24.hr grace period anywhere on their site nor was it on the confirmation email. Thats too bad since I was really hoping to continue giving them my business after this first session.
I get Sebastian every time, and it’s always the best massage ever. I’ve been getting bi-weekly massages for the past 2 years due to the nature of my job, so I have a lot of people/places to compare to. The manager is also really pleasant to be around and always in a good mood. Overall really good experience every time.
This is regarding the customer serviceCan’t give less than one ⭐️I generally never write reviews but given the purpose of this business is to relax their clientele my customer service experience was evasive and rude.Some on several occasions I purchased transfer gift messages over the years. Given my home center is in Missouri the selling associates at the Mo. City. location would always call my home location WHILE I was at the counter and they (the Mo City associate) always CONFIRMED that they saw the transfer.Fast forward to this past Saturday I go to ME in Greatwood with my daughter. Our messages were great however ever upon checkout things begin to go awry.We were advised that the transfer that I paid for for my daughter AT the MO CITY branch was NOT in her account. The kind associate got on the phone with MO CITY and spoke with CHASE the FDA who moved ANOTHER message over to COVER the one I had already paid for. I was told that I had 29 prepaids remaining AFTER this ADDITIONAL transfer. While I reluctantly agreed I was assured that Sarah the Manager at MO CITY would be Happy to resolve on Sunday and would give me a call.Well Sunday came and went and I called and left several messages. When I finally got someone on the line I was instructed that “they” could not help but I’d need to call my home office. Then they, said they could and my prepaids were down to 27??? Wait looks like I LOST TWO more transfers??? When I challenged this I was pass on to someone else who stated the same interesting FACT “we can’t transfer memberships, you need to call your home office”. Of course, I now have more questions....”okay, I now ask Katy, the DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, “ can you explain what your associate did on SATURDAY when I was told the transfer took place?” She refused to even acknowledge that anything happened on Saturday with HER associate, CHASE the FDA.Okay, so that I could give an accurate account of what took place with Chase when I call my HOME office what should I tell them...” she closes with, you will have to call your home office, that’s what they are telling me.Worst customer ever. If their messages are like their administration I cannot recommend in good faith. I will post how this situation is resolved as I have historical had great customer service with ME locations.Truly disappointed customer,
Front desk staff and manager are idiots. Tried to book an appointment and needed to leave a credit card. Told her I had to find my purse and Id call her right back with it. Called back less than a minute later and no one answered so it went to voice mail. Got ready fast and left the house so I wouldnt be late and tried calling them again to give it to them and they gave my appointment away to someone else. Ill never try to book with them again.
Extremely bad service! They do not value your membership or loyalty. Was member with this location for 10 years. They changed my membership fee by mailing an arbitrary letter informing me that it will be $55. Then proceeded to charge me $65! First time in 10 years, I had to cancel cause had an emergency patient. TOLD ME ITS OK and that they wont charge me.. CHARGED ME AND TOOK MY 1.5 hrs away! NO THANK YOU! That was the last of what you profited from me. Good luck to your bad customer service and greediness! Terrible! Disappointing! Shame on you!
This location just tried to steal $60 from me, in addition to my membership fee (which is charged mid-month). They then did steal $20 from me and refused to tell me why. Now, they wont answer my calls. Shady employees stealing from you because they have your credit card on file. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!Update: Your bot-like copy and paste responses to my reviews prove that you have no intention of solving this problem, privately. Your employees actively avoiding dialogue, while this response gets posted, confirms that this is just lip service, and that youre not truly concerned about addressing this crime. If you honestly were, the franchise owner wouldve contacted me by the number that they have on file. Its not like they dont have that info, as they hang up when they see my number on caller ID. And, unless fraud is so rampant at this location, then the owner would have no problem figuring out exactly who I am, even if you ignore that my name is listed on this review.So, please stop pretending that you have any desire to resolve this. Your owner can contact me, directly, or they can continue to allow this kind of theft to line their pockets.2nd Update: Still havent received any money back, after this location fraudulently charged my account. They were quick enough to post a response on how they want to resolve things, but this has proved to be all that theyre willing to do. If anyone else has had this happen, remember to file a complaint with Texas Attorney General - Consumer Protection. Its an easy, online process, and maybe you can save someone else from criminals trying to take advantage of people.
So I had my first appointment with Massage Envy in Missouri City when I first walked in it was real quiet calm and relaxing Levante is a good salesperson and a very nice greeter he is very down-to-earth I really dont know the staff there however I will try and meet everyone and at least try and have a session with each person so I can find the actual person that is right for me this go-around I had mark he really relax my muscles in my shoulders and in my back and he has strong hands to be such a slim person but my overall experience I do rated a five stars everything was clean. And nice atmosphere
If possible I would rate less than 1 star. Warning...do NOT purchase a monthly plan. Was expecting much better response and customer service. Was not informed that three were no esthetician services available at thr time I enrolled. I have requested Cancellation twice and still being billed despite extended three conversations with 2 managers. Extremely disappointed!
I definitely recommend Barbara, she was amazing, had all my aches and stress disappear by then end of our session. This was the perfect way to start my day off. I will be back to see Barbara soon!
I have been a member for 8 months. This is one of the best message places in Missouri City!!!! You can use your credits at other locations for facials and other services. Domingo, Stella , Chris and Sunday are great therapist.
I have been going to Massage Envy for several years and have tried many massage therapists. We were recently in Bangkok, Thailand (October 2017) and I had one of the best massages ever, but I must say that I hit Bingo with Domingo right here in Missouri City, Texas!! Domingo is well versed in the bones and muscles of the body. He was able to explain how the muscles are impacted by day to day repetition and exercise and identifies those areas that need the most attention. He is well educated in massage techniques and continues to seek opportunities to maximize his knowledge and skills so that he can serve is his clients better. Domingo says that God has blessed him with a gift and he is happy and honored to use his gift to serve and heal others. I am not sure that I want anyone else but Domingo doing my massages! I highly recommend him!
They sold me a gift card without telling me I had to be on a membership to be charged the price of the gift card and when I show up they tell me its going to cost more because Im not on the membership you have to let your costumers know what theyre buying and not just try to sell products.
All though i was not able to attend my appointment, I was extremely impressed and pleased with my customer service. Lavontae is very attentive on keeping the customer happy. I am really looking foward on bringing my fiancè. Thanks Guys Keep up the great work.
Ive been to nicer spas with plush robes and herbal tea. But one thing they do not have is Domingo. He is amazing. Strong hands and extremely knowledgeable.
I just had a 90 minute massage with Sarah. She does a wonderful job. I wouldnt go to anyone else! The facilities are excellent also.
Terrible experience. I shouldve checked these reviews before going so I would have known not to go to this location. Tried three massage places so far in Sugar Land and I will stick to Elements Massage in Missouri City.
