I started coming to Dani at the salon in April 2024. I had frizzy ugly dry over processed hair. Dani has worked on my hair and made it gorgeous. She is so good gentle and she listens. I am so pleased with her she is just a delight to talk to every appointment. I leave their feeling, like my hair looks like it did when I was in my 20s
I enjoyed my haircut, the stylist was great. My only issue was the website stated a woman’s hair cut starts at $35 after my visit I found out that each stylist has their starting rate based off experience, which i understand but no where on the website did it mentioned that nor was this information disclosed to me and no estimated rate was given before hand, I called in to book an appointment. I ended up paying $70 for a haircut, which to me is a bit much. Again the haircut was nice but it would have been nice to know before hand that it would be upwards of $70
Mackenze has been doing my hair now for 2 and a half years and she crushes it every single time! I either get a partial or full highlight and she makes my hair the PERFECT blonde! Sometimes I play with hair length and she always talks through decisions with me to make sure I’m going to love it and she ALWAYS cuts my hair perfectly. Absolutely recommend her to anyone! Especially blondes!!
My husband and I both recently had hair appointments here. Both our first time at this salon. My husband grew his hair out past his shoulders and had a hair cut to go back short. Chrissy did an amazing job and did exactly what he asked!I also had an appointment and saw Dani for blonde balayage and a hair cut. I have not had any hair color done since before 2020 and Dani did an incredible job color correcting and giving me the ash blonde I’ve always wanted! The experience exceeded my expectations from her attention to detail, the massage chair while having a hair wash, the entire day was such a treat.Thank you Chrissy & Dani 💛
Kelsey is the best. She always does an amazing job! She is really knowledgeable about hair and my hair is always exactly as I want it when I leave. My son goes to Chrissy and she is amazing as well!! My son is a teenager and she is always so kind and patient.🙂🙂🙂
I am beyond impressed by the service I received from Dolce Lusso. Last night was my first time ever being there and I can easily say this is my new hair Salon and Spa. As soon as you walk in youre greeted by friendly faces offering you a number of refreshments, the atmosphere was elegant and calming, the staff is phenomenal (especially my stylist, Brittney), and I love the final look. I went from long, blonde hair to short, copper hair, and it looks stunning. I cannot say enough how much I love it and how wonderful she did it. After my hair, I decided to try the spa section of the establishment and get a Plant Peel. (Which I HIGHLY recommend to everyone, it was life changing) The Spa section of Dolce Lusso has low lighting, beautiful nature music playing, and just an overall feel of tranquility. It was an amazing experience and I felt relaxed and beautiful once I left. I cannot thank the staff enough for making my first visit so perfect.

Had an absolutely terrible experience at the Market Common salon beginning with stylist Susan White putting drastic high and low lights in my daughters hair, which was NOT what she asked for; then charging her $300 for this disaster. It looked absolutely awful. In addition, in the middle of her appointment the stylist left the salon ,while the chemicals were sitting on my daughters hair, to run to Burger King! I immediately called the salon to request a refund; however, the staff at the Market Common salon pleaded with me to give them a chance to correct her hair at No Charge.We had a consultation with senior stylist Dustin Putnam & were given a color correction appointment. Unfortunately, due to a work commitment, the appointment had to be rescheduled. The Market Common salon gave us his First Available appointment which was nearly three weeks later! ONE HOUR PRIOR to that appointment the salon called to state we were going to have to pay for that color correction appointment due to the length of time that had passed since her initial appointment. I reminded them this was the first available date THEY gave us! The staff at the Market Common salon refused to budge, repeatedly stating why we would be charged for the appointment; ultimately resulting in me demanding an immediate Full Refund!The staff at the Market Common salon were rude, argumentative & completely unwilling to compromise. They just stated they would need to contact their owner, Bob, who was at another location in NC, & would call me back later.I researched and found the owners, Bob and Christy DeLong. After waiting several additional hours with no follow up, I began calling the other salon locations in NC to speak with the owners myself. I spoke with a lovely, empathetic & helpful lady named Anna at the Park Road salon, who asked me to send her a detailed email with an attached photo of my daughters hair that she offered to forward to Mr. DeLong. She assured me they would try to assist from their location as much as possible.the manager Realynn replied to my email confirming that it was forwarded to Mr. DeLong & he would be in touch with me shortly. Sure enough, Mr. DeLong called me and was very apologetic. He made several very generous offers to correct the situation. Unfortunately, at that point, we had no desire to return to the Market Common salon; hence, my daughter was given a 100% refund.We cannot thank Mr. DeLong enough or his exceptional staff at the Park Road salon; specifically Anna and Realynn! They all showed care & compassion, which we truly appreciated.
The salon is beautiful and well maintained. Service is always amazing- from check-in/check out, retail and chair, everyone is so nice and helpful! Mackenze is awesome! I love how my hair looks after one of her blowouts 💕
I set up a haircut and color appointment a month in advance. One week before I called and re-verified what it was I wanted and what colors I wanted. I was told in an actual text that I still have, but that would not be any problem and she would forward the pictures of what I wanted to Dustin. They also told me I would have to wait an hour in between because I wanted color no problem I said. First Dustin said he knew nothing about it, then, the ladies that work there were dumbstruck about what to do. He said he could not do what I wanted that my hair would fall out that it was too difficult. Then they made me feel belittled by saying you know, you have to keep it up and you’ll have to, follow your hair care closely., As if to say, I wouldn’t. Finally, I said, I feel like all you want to do is the cut, and you want nothing to do with any coloring, and they all just stood there and looked at me no sorry no compensation nothing. I told them that I would never come there again and that I would definitely do a review about it , this is the most unprofessional, ridiculous Aveda I have ever been to in my life
My massage therapist, Lisa was awesome! My facial by Brandy was magnificent! All the staff were friendly and helpful! Thank you for an awesome experience!
I went in for a facial and I was nervous because I have sensitive skin. Brandy was AMAZING. She listened to all my concerns and treated my skin like a temple. It was so relaxing and my skin looks amazing. Already booked my next appointment to see her again and I can’t wait! Thank you!
I was super pleased with the service I received. I was able to get in last minute for a blow out they were so accommodating. I even totally messed appointment and they still squeezed me in. Went back again for blow out and my husband and I got massages. We are from out of town if we lived there we would definitely be going back.
Brittany gave me an amazing haircut!She also advised me on what product I should use on my grey hair.
I was originally scheduled with Melanie because I’ve always went to Melanie and had no problems but she got sick so they called me and asked if I was okay with another stylist cutting my hair so I said yes. I go in and show Susan exactly how I want my hair and she immediately starts off by telling me it’s going to be hard to style and maintain. She doesn’t cut enough off and styles it completely different than I asked her too. When I asked her to cut more off, she refused to saying it wouldn’t look right. I had a very specific style of hair in mind for myself and I left unsatisfied and upset I spent so much money on hair that wasn’t what I wanted. I decided to leave rather than press the matter because it seemed like she would rather tell me all the reasons the cut I wanted wouldn’t look good than actually give me what I want. I knew I could find better service and someone who would understand the cut I wanted to achieve elsewhere. My cut wasn’t bad, Susan did great achieving hair that was to her liking, just not mine.

I went while on vacation and the salon is very welcoming and gorgeous on the inside. Rosalie was my stylist, and she was very attentive to detail and listened to the idea I had for my cut. She said she would cut it to a length and if I wanted it shorter she had no problem. After styling, she checked the hair over again to make sure that everything was lined up and perfect. She was very friendly and gave understood what I was looking for. The next time I am in the area I would definitely got back and ask for her.
I have been coming to dolce lusso for my regular haircuts and shampoo styles whenever I have a chance. However my last experience with Shawna was terrible. The moment I sat in her chair she was being very rude. Even going to the extent to brag about how she only has to work 10 hours a week and goes on very long trips at a time. I could tell this made the other stylists feel uncomfortable and taken advantage of. Once we leave the shampoo station to go get my haircut and styled, Shawna proceeds to start drying my hair before she cuts it. My hair is very curly and I refuse to have it cut dry. Since I did not want my hair cut dry and wanted it cut wet Shawna refuses to do it as I want. She goes to get the manager that is also NOT even a licensed cosmetologist in South Carolina! She proceeds to tell me that no one else in the salon can do my hair unless I let Shawna blow dry and then cut my hair. I once again refuse and they made me leave with my hair not cut and soaking wet. All because I didn’t want it cut dry. Absolutely terrible to let me walk out of the salon like that.
I recently had a massage with Liz she was awesome and professional. I’ve had massages here before but I came in pain & mentally drained this time and she seemed really intuitive about what I needed. I walked out feeling amazing. I can’t recommend her enough. I always get my hair done here as well Heather is amazing and I won’t go anywhere else! All in all such a great salon and staff.
New to the area I went to a local salon to have my hair touched up. The results were very disappointing and I did not receive the desired results I came for. Truly disappointed, I inquired who could help correct my hair.Dustin at Dolce Lusso was recommended to me by word of mouth.. I made an appointment and was blown away by his work. He listened, was attentive and very mindful of what I was looking for. Needless to say I recieved the desired results I came for.. And my hair looked and felt incredible!Dolce Lusso truly gives you exceptional service and top salon experience. This is definitely my new salon of choice.
We were greeted nicely by a young lady named Britney as we entered that checked us in. Really nice young lady. However, she left for a shift change, I guess, and I felt the others who were in after her at the front desk were a little more aggressive and less attentive.The Massage therapists both Brynna and Kalena were AMAZING. Their customer service was right on point!Me being in the beauty industry and coming here for the first time, I would expect better. Dress code and professionalism should match the salon. I would recommend a front desk training or team building session. Customer service is huge for me.The salon was a Beautiful place and had great atmosphere!
We just moved to Myrtle Beach in the Market Commons area. Its always scary finding a new hair stylist and salon. I was thoroughly impressed the minute I walked in. I was offered something to drink and the atmosphere is clean and oh so relaxing! I had my brows and lip waxed and hair colored, cut and styled! I have to say that Gwen and Danielle are top notch! They both did exactly what I wanted and I knew I had found my spot! GWEN... I LOVE MY HAIR!!! I looks and feels fabulous!! See you in 4 weeks!
I’m new to the area and wanted highlights so I took a chance and booked an appointment....and am I glad I did! My stylist Dana was absolutely amazing. She did exactly what I asked for, and my hair turned out better than I could have imagined! I high recommend her.
I used the website to trigger an appointment for tonight, and they called me back to offer me an appointment. They said they could accommodate me at 7:45. I called back to confirm and accept.I was excited to be able to take it since my schedule is horrible and needed this my hair done.I then the salon called me back to say my stylist decided not to take me since she wanted to leave work early to avoid walking home in the dark.Shocked this is how business is now performed.Great Salon but I wonder what the owner would say????Disappointed
Dolce Lusso is the best salon in Myrtle Beach. They are always able to accommodate my busy schedule. My hair stylist is Dana and she is amazing! She takes the time to listen to how you want to cut your hair and she always offers a hand massage when my hair is being conditioned. I would recommend this salon to my friends and family.
While visiting Myrtle Beach I needed a hair cut and luckily found Dolce Lusso. It’s a beautiful Aveda salon with awesome service. The stylist, Heather, even though I was a transient, took the time to listen to what I wanted. She gave me a great cut and style! I’ll definitely return when in the area.
Ive never had a bad haircut, until I went here. I had my haircut with a stylist at Dolce Lusso a couple weeks ago and I hated it then, hate it now. She butchered my hair with all sorts of unevenness and cut it way too short, way shorter than what I had asked for, and way shorter than what i showed her in the picture. Although she was friendly, the hair stylist did not know how to cut hair. Not only that but in an attempt to thin out my hair, she chopped a chunk off my hair on the side that was about 4 - 5 inches shorter than all the other hair on my head (mind you, the longest layer barely grazes my shoulder), even she realized she had made a big mistake... this was because she didnt know how to use the thinning shears. You would think that was hair cutting 101 in beauty school.Luckily the staff felt bad for me so another stylist took over and tried to salvage what she had done but this led to the other stylist having to cut it even shorter to make up for the uneven cut the original stylist had given me. Three and a half hours later... What a disaster!!! Cute salon though.
I recently moved here from Nashville due to my partner’s job transfer. I went here today to get cut and color. It was my second time getting my hair done but my first time with Liviu. This was the BEST HAIRCUT AND COLOR I’ve ever had anywhere!!!!!!!! He did a gorgeous balayage that followed my natural hair color and I’ve never been happier. He also did a beautiful cut. Both of these I’ve been trying to get just right for years and I finally got it with Liviu. I HIGHLY recommend him if you want your hair done right and exactly what you want for your hair type.I also want to give Julia much praise as well! Shes been doing my brows (tint and wax) since I’ve moved here and she does them perfectly. The shape is always right and the color is also!I will say my first stylist that they recommended for me wasn’t my favorite due to her color, cut and personality, but I’m so happy I have Dolce Lusso another shot and ended up with Liviu. He blew it out of the park! Julia is the best at skincare and I’m so lucky I got her first try. I was always going to come back for her, but now I’ll always go back for Liviu also!!
Alright... maybe I drew the lucky golden ticket today? Or maybe only people who have a complaint leave reviews. Either way, this is a longer review but something I couldnt wait to do after leaving this salon!I am from Massachusetss, am visiting Myrtle Beach for vacation, and decided I could no longer stand my hair and wanted to get it cut and possibly dyed if time permitted. After reading some negative reviews, I still decided to give it a try. I called and scheduled an appointment for that same morning, an hour later for a cut and dye. I got to the location and was shocked to find out that even though I confirmed on the phone that it was the Myrtle Beach location, my appointment was booked at another salon, 3 hours away. Immediately I thought of the negative reviews and regretted canceling another appointment I had made (for a few days later). The girl at the front desk, however, was eager to figure out something that would work and gave me the option to just get a hair cut an hour later or wait 2 hours and get a hair cut and dye with a senior stylist. Again... regret thinking what this could possibly cost me. Upon asking what the cost would be, she said $88. I asked again if that was the difference in cost for a senior stylist and was told that was the final price. Excited, I took the appointment.My appointment ran about 5 minutes late, but that type of stuff doesnt bother me. If you saw the amount of stuff they do here, you understand it takes time to clean up their station. Susan was my stylist and oh my god was she fantastic. I told her that I wanted to dye my hair dark, dark brown. Almost black. I showed her a photo and off she went. She came back and explained that she had put some cooler colors in the dye as my hair has a orange tint to it already. I was overjoyed as I forgot to mention this to her as a concern. Finally, someone understood what I wanted. Applying the dye took about an hour, but the entire time we were chit chatting and she made me feel extremely comfortable.Next I was taken to a processing room to wait for my dye to set. Before all of this they give you a locker to put your things in so you arent totting them around the place. The processing room had tons of magazine, comfy chairs and... yes I had a few, mini candy bars. They also offer you water, tea or soda the entire time you are there. Once my dye had set Susan began to rinse it out. She also gave me a hand massage during this (that totally blew my mind).Next: Hair Cut. I could not be happier with the results. It seriously makes me want to fly to Myrtle Beach to get my hair cut. There was a good balance of what she thought would look good mixed with what I wanted. She gave me a final look and was still looking at it when I was walking away and stopped me to clip one more piece. It was such a great feeling to know that she was really looking at every inch of it.I got to the counter and it was indeed $88. I could not believe it. She had spent 3 hours on me. Maybe its Boston pricing vs. Myrtle Beach pricing, but you cannot get anything close to that in the Boston area. So, so, SO happy I came here!
From the moment I called, the ladies at Dolce were accommodating, professional, and extremely nice. Our group was on a family vacation to celebrate my sisters 40th birthday and they managed to get our group of 6 in for facials despite our scheduling it at the last minute. Upon our arrival, Lauren greeted us at the front, kindly asked us to complete a questionnaire, offered us water or coffee, and led us to a private lounge so we could relax and chat while we waited to get our facials done. She insisted we let her know if we needed anything. It was our first time getting facials and the experience was amazing. Emily took care of us and provided us with spectacular service - it exceeded our expectations. We truly enjoyed our experience and appreciate the phenomenal customer service provided to us. If were ever in Myrtle Beach again, we will definitely return to Dolce Lusso.
Seriously Shawna is the best and I will not book with anyone else! She took the time out to teach me how to style my hair the way I wanted it. I love my hair cut and I love Dolce Lusso. Highly recommend!!!
I made an appointment yesterday for a 3:30 appointment today. I had not visited this salon before and was looking forward to a hair cut and color. (which I was told would be $137.00 and having worked for tips for 10 years I planned to leave at least a $40.00 tip for the stylist) I left with plenty of time to travel to the salon. En route, I glanced at my phone and saw a text from the salon that was sent at 2:00 saying my appointment was at 3:00. I called the salon immediately, and questioned my appointment time. The girl I spoke with insisted that the appointment was scheduled for 3. I am absolutely certain the person I spoke with the day before said 3:30 because I wrote down the time as she said it to me, and then repeated it to me before we hung up. I told her I was about 20 minutes away and asked if I could still be seen. I even suggested that if the stylist was in a hurry that I would be willing to give up a color if I could still get a cut I would be ok with that. I also apologized profusely for the mix up. She told me as long as I was there by then, they could work something out I drove as fast as the law would allow, and looked for a parking spot which took a few minutes itself. I walked into the salon and said I am very sorry for being so late... and was cut off by the girl behind the desk who said She will not be able to see you. Even if your appointment was at 3:30, you are still late There was a man standing behind her who began to snicker at my frustration. There were other customers standing there who were watching, and I was embarrassed. It was rude and distasteful. I was never offered any apology or any alternate plans....customer service 101. I manage employees, and I would never stand for them treating a customer the way I was treated. After reading a few other reviews when I got home, this has happened to others as well. Its just bad business, plain and simple. I suppose my money isnt good enough for Dolce Lusso. If their customer service is any reflection of their stylists skills, I will count myself lucky for never making it to the chair. I will never spend a single dime at this salon, and will make sure that everyone I know never will either.
Love dolce Lusso! Every time I walk in, I get greeted so kindly by the receptionist! Not only that , but the most great thing of all was my stylist fixed my butchered mess after Great Clips destroyed me! Thank you June for your hard work and loyal dedication to your clients! Also, I love how you remember every conversation we ever have! Its almost like having a friend that does my hair! Great prices, great atmoshpere! I wouldnt go anywhere else now! Thanks again!
Immaculately kept salon. Highly trained and exceptionally skilled staff. An atmosphere of calming and relaxation, and of taking pampering to a whole new level. I highly recommend Kalena for THE BEST massage youll ever get, and Brynna was my friends fave and even came in on her day off to accommodate us. Was also pleasantly surprised by very affordable prices. A 5 star salon you can afford!
Came in a couple of months ago, wanted to dye my hair for the first time.. Came in a day before to get pricing and the idea of how the hair would turn out.. If Im correct the price was at $120, Susan was nice however while trying to figure out the coloring all she did was show so much frustration as if she hated her job..The day I come in , to make the story short , the visit was not what I was expecting .. I ended up leaving with a bill of $240 because she decided to color my hair 3 times! When in the appointment the manager had said only twice .. Keep in mind this is my first time I dont know what was wrong and right because hairdressers should know what they are doing , thats why they are licensed. Her co workers were giving her tips of what she shouldve and shouldnt have done, but since she knows more than everyone else, has been dying hair for years she was too stubborn to listen..I shouldve complained there and then of why I had paid double of what I shouldve paid.. Im even surprised my hair didnt fall off.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!! Maybe just for a haircut but the products they use are terrible and do not last ..
I highly recommend Rosalee for hair color and styling. Emily is fantastic for brow tinting and Tonya gives the best pedicure and manicure I’ve ever had. Tonya is very detail oriented and up to date with the latest nail services. Just love this place ❤️
I go to this salon often, they color style and always have a great attitude and are so helpful! No matter what you need I have color, cut,nails, eyebrow wax and they do an incredible job. They always offer you a beverage if you need a snack they have those too! Aveda products are incredible and really help nourish your hair. I am so thankful to have a high end salon of this quality in myrtle beach!
I will rate again after my second visit.Went in for a consultation last week made and appointment after I was told she could color my hair with very blood on top and dark on bottom back. There is barely any blond I am pretty much brown! Although one of my concerns was that I pull very brassy and there is no brass at this time. She is having me come back to get me more blood as we discussed. Not giving up.
I had been wanting to cut my hair for about 6 months and was super picky about who I wanted to cut my hair. I found Dolce Lusso while on vacation and it was the PERFECT salon choice. The salon itself is very well upkept, the staff was very attentive and friendly, and I was 100% satisfied with my cut. I went from hair that went to my waist to hair that went to my sholders. My stylist took extra care and time to make sure that I was happy every step of the way. They were wonderful.
So disappointed. Stylist was trying to get another booking by hustling my 16 yo daughter. Gave her less than what she asked for after paying $270. Disputing the original charge. First time we went to her was marginal but we paid and my daughter was kind of happy. Will never ever go back.
Paula is the master of hair color! My hair came out so beautiful with natural looking highlights, she is truly a hair artist! I have been getting highlights for years and my hair has never looked this fabulous! I have very dark hair and it looks amazing the way the colors blend together.
Dolce Lusso is easy to find and there staff are friendly. However I had set appointments for both my MoH and I. They got both of us started in a timely manner however when it came to us switching and having the opposite hair/makeup done since there was only one stylist for hair and one artist for makeup. They completely forgot about my MoH needing her hair done and didnt get her hair started until 30 minutes after her appointment time, which put us behind. Then the stylist for my MoHs hair couldnt give the desired style. The stylist ended up lightly curling her hair and left it down and charged the full price for an updo. the makeup artist done a fantastic job and got both of our appointments done in a timely manner.
I’m giving this 1 star review on stylist June. I went in today, and watched so many wonderful interactions between stylists and their clients, and I was so excited. Then, my stylist, was 10 minutes late (so I went to the front desk asking if the wait was going to be much longer), then I heard June call my name. She seemed rushed and frustrated from the beginning. The greeting alone was enough for me to turn the other way. Yet I stayed, and began my pre booked consultation. I started out with some haircut inspirations and even acknowledged how badly my hair needed this. I came with photos for my haircut and flexibility with my color (it needed a change). She rushed me and said “let’s just focus on this color, your hair is damaged and it definitely can’t take any more hilites (which I totally understood because it’s been through the ringer). I was open to suggestions but she instead made me feel like I was gross, that my hair was beyond repair. I felt like no matter what, she wasn’t going to be open to touching it and then she verified my suspicions. She said I don’t have enough time for any of this, I have clients after you. If anything I could squeeze in a haircut. (I was scheduled for a full head highlight, toner and cut) I wanted to jump out of the chair, but my desperation to feel beautiful again kept me in her chair. I showed her some textured bobs and even suggested that the 6 inches we were taking off would help with the damage. She said “umm ya maybe” as she touch my hair like it was a pile of worms. At that point I couldn’t take it any longer. She made it clear that my color was ugly, my hair was damaged beyond repair and that the haircut COULD happen but she wasn’t really interested in hearing my “loves and hates about haircuts ...ie:what I want vs what I wouldn’t want) I thought I was going to a professional ... that would help me no matter how bad my hair situation is. That she would offer suggestions or make me feel optimistic about the experience. Not tear me down, and insist that she doesn’t have the time. I guess I expected compassion and love, what Hoerst always taught. I expected Aveda values and beliefs but what I got left me crying. In tears, I called my husband to come pick me up. I felt ugly, like I couldn’t be fixed. I’ll post a photo of my hair currently so you all can see that it isn’t infact, damaged beyond repair, and that a simple suggestion of a good cut, lowlites for dimension (maybe a shadow root) and toner could help. My 13 years of being a hairstylist has taught me this. I own my own little hair studio (sole proprietor) in Wisconsin. Today, I wanted a “treat yo self” day. But I got treated like I was not worth her time or efforts. My feelings are more hurt because of the way she went about her consultation. It’s sad, really.
I adore Dolce, but my experience today, February 20th is tough. The air conditioning is broken and has been for a while I was told. I am dripping wet if sweat and the only air everyone has is from a fan?? This is not your mom and pop salon and I cannot believe the owner has allowed clients to be so uncomfortable. I feel sorry for the clients coming in this week. I feel even more sad for the stylists! I really would like to be reimbursed for my visit. My time here should be a wonderful experience. If had known i5would be gett5my hair done in a sauna, I would have reschedule when the air conditioning was repaired. Susan Sims
I got a massage from Bryanna (I hope I spelled that right) yesterday, she is amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted; I wanted half intense work on my back and shoulders and half relaxing full body. She was great at getting my knots out and that is no easy feat. My carry lots of stress in my back and my knots have knots that have knots. If you like deep tissue, she can get deep. If you want to relax her use of stones and oils will really help you forget all the stress. She gets 5 stars. I only took a star off because near the end of my massage I started to hear what I though was a power drill sound. Once my massage was over she apologized for the sound, which I found out was someone getting a spray tan. I wound not recommend having a loud spray tan going on when people are trying to relax. She tried to cover up the noise with music and relaxing sounds but she could only do so much. Overall it was great and I will be going back, hopefully there wont be any spray tans going on next time.
I have been looking for a place to get my balayage and I had this experience with Dani. She gave me the best experience and the style I have been looking for. I will be back to see her soon.

BUYER BEWARE! My girlfriend spent almost two weeks and 1400 dollars at this establishment just to find one) that her hair was in danger of having to be cut off by the condition they left it in. And 2) that the hairdresser she had been recommended was in fact new and not well trained. Which management knew and used my lady as a “training exercise”. Which is edifying to know that not only is this a school not a hair stylist. But also they don’t swoop in and help prevent a poor job from occurring. They take the professor snape approach and just let it blow up and keep all the money. BUYER BEWARE!
I have been going to Dolce Lusso for about two years now and have had great experiences with Dana. She is always professional and willing to take her time to give the look I want. Her station is always clean and she is prompt on scheduling/timing. Highly recommend booking with Dana.

I want to say first off, Ive never had a massage here locally. I only get them in Las Vegas when I visit my Best friend for girl time. That being said, I broke down and had absolutely the best massage of my life this week. I have to give a shout out to Brynna Sawyer. I scheduled a massage with hot stone and hot oil complimented by Aveda aroma. For 2 hours guys, 2 solid hours Brynna worked on the mass of tight muscles and knots in my shoulders and neck. Meghan wears my body down. I feel so much better. No more tension headache, or pain in between my shoulder blades. Brynna was absolutely amazing! The hot oil was luxurious, the hot stone was phenomenal. The different aromas used did everything from clearing my sinuses to relaxing me just from breathing it in. Did I mention how I got to soak my feet in hot bubbly awesomeness for like 30 mins BEFORE the massage? Also I was pleasantly surprised by the waiting area inside Dolce for massages. I was quickly whisked away to a fluffy velvety robe and shoes. Calm, quiet fireplace room filled with comfy couches. I was offered a drink the minute I stepped foot inside. I was given chocolate! There was a BOWL of chocolate!! The conversation was great and Brynna was extremely thorough and professional. I was sent home with advice on how to stretch and how to help flush my system from all the lactic acid build up that was worked on. I will most definitely be back for another massage! If you havent booked one, or thought it is too expensive, think again. Prices are online. It was worth every last cent and then some. I am one very happy client. Ask for Brynna. Your body and mind will thank you.
Im new to the area, so I was really excited to find an aveda salon close by. I decided to try this salon. I called on a Thursday to get a color, and they got me in the very next day. When I was on the phone with the receptionist, I told her I wanted a cut and color. She said ok and said see you tomorrow. She didnt ask what kind of color, or how long my hair was. I figured they must have enough time either way. When I got to the salon I was greeted. Very friendly girl. Then the gal who was going to color my hair, came up to me, brought me back to the chair and we discussed what I wanted done. I took my hair out of my ponytail and she said that she wasnt going to have enough time to do my hair. Instead of explaining why, she just stood there and stared. I of course was upset because I had other things planned this day. About 20 minutes later, the manager called me. And explained that the girl had to get her daughter and with how long my hair was and the type of color I wanted, she wouldnt have had enough time. The hairstylist didnt explain anything to me, if she would have I would have been a little more understanding. But she came off extremely rude and like she was above doing the beulage that I had wanted. Terrible experience. I do not recommend.
I wish I could give you less then a 1 star rating. My mother has been a loyal customer for almost 6 years. Yesterday she arrived a few minutes late for her appointment when turned away. She begged to just get color put on no shampoo or style needed. Still told no for being late. On a number of occasions she has waited because stylist was running behind. This is very sad to treat loyal customers like this. She wont be returning. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
My wife visits this salon all the time to get her hair done. It doesnt matter if its to wash, color, trim or restyle her hair. Dolce Lusso uses Aveeda organic products and theyre top notch. Not too many salons use Aveeda and this is one of the main reasons my wife gives it 5 stars. Ask for Maria. Shell make you look like a million bucks!
New in town and haf heard great thing about this salon. In very picky when it comes to my hair so i was nervous from the start. That ended quickly as soon as i walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff at the front desk. It was pretty busy so I was worried I wouldnt get in but right away I was taken back to my chair. Place is very clean. My hair stylist was very professional and attentive to detail which showed cuz its probably the best haircut Ive ever had! I highly recommend the salon and will definitely return. Thank you for a great experience.

This salon is extremely pricey and based on my observations some of the employees seemed snobby and had an air about them. My salon experience was just okay. For the price that I paid ($230+) I expected to love my hair which turned out not to be the case. If you are looking for an Aveda salon that has more reasonable pricing then try Carmen Carmen Aveda salon at Belk at the Coastal Grand Mall. Pricing is better and youll get exactly the same type of services for less.
What a complete and utter disappointment! I was taken back, sat in the chair, and proceeded to describe the haircut I wanted. The hairdresser said I’ll be right back. She comes back 5 minutes later to tell me that she isn’t very good with short cuts and could do my color but would have to reschedule my cut with someone else. I even told the person I needed someone who could cut short hair. Don’t bother!
I have not ever been so dissapointed. The staff was rude and arrogant. Do not waste your time there are much better salons in Myrtle Beach. They were not only rude but my wifes nails looked horrible and had to be re-dine. My haircut was even worse, I had it re-cut it was sk botched itntook o er.two months and three haircuts to get back to normal.
I was in a bridal party and the bride booked us to have our hair and makeup done at this location. I had one of the senior stylists. She was extremely unprofessional and rude from the first moment we walked in to the time we left. I showed her a picture of the style that I wanted as a bridesmaid and she barely glanced at it and huffed. She started to work on my updo and kept saying to me that my hair was too clean and that my hair would be hard to work with. I found this to be rude, unprofessional and unnecessary. Half way through the updo, I realized that she wasnt doing the half up/ half down style that I had requested (and had shown her a picture of exactly what I wanted), she was doing this awful granny style rose curl thing all over my head! It looked like she was plastering my hair to my head! When I mentioned that this wasnt the style that I wanted, she got really rude and down right nasty at this point. She had to walk away because she was so mad, at ME, the PAYING CUSTOMER! Talk about unprofessional! She then proceeded to talk about me, the bride and the other bridesmaids within ear shot and we could all tell that she was somehow pissed off at me because she was going to have to re-do my updo. She told me she didnt have time to re-do the updo. Ive NEVER had a worse experience at any salon. I actually had to have ANOTHER stylist come FIX my updo and thankfully, he was wonderful and fixed what she had messed up. I showed him the picture and he did exactly what I wanted and had asked for to begin with. What I cant believe is that she is the top stylist or senior stylist there that is supposed to be a role model for the other stylists at the salon. There are apparently some other good stylists at this location, but I highly suggest never asking for the senior stylist (unless of course you like being humiliated and treated like you are not a paying customer).
Susan was fantastic! She gave me exactly what I wanted, and she’s such a sweet, knowledgable hair dresser. I’m so grateful for her talking me through what would be best for my hair/face- can’t wait to come back!

She was more than willing to redo it and I left completely satisfied from the redo appointment. It is pricey, but I always feel I have gotten my moneys worth. I highly recommend this salon.

Relaxing atmosphere, June does a great short haircut with tremendous attention to detail. This is not an inexpensive salon but it is worth the price. I love their manicure and pedicure services too.
I am obsessed with my balayage!!!! Caradine is an amazing stylist. She knew exactly what style would work for my hair and I didnt have to worry about a thing. I will definitely be coming back to Caradine at Dolce Lusso again!! I love love love it!!!
This is the only salon I go to. Liviu is the best stylist and Ive never been disappointed by any cut hes done. Thankfully, theyve gone back to their normal playlist and the country music is no more.
Too expensive for this area. I can’t say enough good about my stylist but I have short hair and had roots done an front highlights with a botanical treatment . 230$. While I was processing she cut another persons hair.

I simply called inquiring about a trim/ shape up for my super short pixie style..wow..lights and sirens went off in my head...EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE..they might better offer Champagne by the pitcher cuz thats the only way Im coming off with that much $ or ill take some quiet time with one if my fav celebrities ..im flexable and not too picky these days!

Never again! Hair stylist June was highly opiniated, and rushed me into a haircut. But at the end I got uneven bad haircut, that she rushed to hide with a curling iron.

Hair color and cut was the best ever. However 4 panels of my extensions came out after a second wash. Well they are now bringing me back in to rectify that problem and Im very happy👏👏👏

I went to this place when I was in town and got my eyebrows done and the girls there are so great and my eyebrows look so good! When I called I had a tight schedule and the receptionist was so accommodating and nice, highly recommend this place!

Awful place... they charged me $285 for a cut and color and when my friend called an hour later to get a quote they told her it would be between $106-160. I will never come back here again.
