I absolutely loved my chemical peel with The Esthetician Katie! (she is very nice and knowledgeable )My skin was glowing for several days, very mild peeling after two days (that my opinion is important to help to reveal younger skin and remove dead cells) . I will do the series of four peelings, and I intend to have the Oxygenating treatment in between. I highly recommend it!
I ended up with Katie for a facial after another location cancelled. What a win for me! Katie is nothing less than caring, professional, and informative. You can tell she cares for her clients. He is pleasant, informative and helps give advice on stretches for longer term relief. He consistently finds the knots and easily switches gears to focus on spots needed.
Love my monthly facials with Chloe! Been seeing her every 5-6 weeks since November and my skin has never been better! She also gives the best neck/shoulder and arm massage! I always feel so relaxed and my skin feels amazing. Get the cooling globe enhancement too!

Had a great experience. Danny and Angela were at the front desk, both super sweet and had lovely conversations with both. I personally like when customer service doesn’t feel like robots and I’m not some npc. Made me feel like an actual human, very respectful of boundaries. Everyone asked if I needed anything (water, tea, bathroom) I appreciated how thorough everyone was (also I’m just happy tea was offered over coffee) I had accidentally booked with a male therapist but! Jian did an amazing job. He was very respectful, kind, consistently made sure I was comfortable. My purse was falling off my shoulder and he took it for me which I thought was really kind. It was $75 for starting pay (hour full body) which personally I didn’t think was that bad compared to other prices in the area. It does go up after your first session but I do think allowing people to simply try it at a cheaper price is really considerate. I will be going back, Angela mentioned she does facials. I’d definitely like to get one done by her and another massage from Jian. Environment was very clean, soothing, calm, and friendly. No negative energies or hostility. Would definitely recommend:)

Wonderful Staff! The manager SARA is the best out of all the locations and I’ve been to multiple over the years….I love going to this location. STEFAN is a great massage therapist, and the best I have had. He’s very professional,polite, kind,and respectful…I always feel so relax once he’s done. Like a brand new person😂He makes sure you’re comfortable and that the pressure is ok to your liking when he’s massaging you. He also makes sure the table is warm enough to your liking…..think everyone should try this location at least once🤗
Mary is so professional, kind and caring. She makes the customer feel so relaxed and comfortable during the massage session. She sure is a tiny, little lady but her hands are very strong for a deep tissue massage! I havent had a better massage therapist ever!Due to Mary’s exceptional ability to give a massage, she is booked out for at least two months so the key is to make the appointments well in advance....also the front desk folks will text you if Mary has any cancellations. Just ask to be put on Mary’s call list and you will get in sooner!!!
My Massage Therapist Jose was very personable. I could tell he loves what he does for a living. It was nice to have him work on my muscles. I also had a facial from Katie who was very professional. Her knowledge of my skin type and how I can maintain it daily was a great help. In this era of mask wearing I need to make sure I am protecting my skin. She broke down what I should be doing morning and nightly. Great experience overall.
Message therapist seemed to be a good person but probably a beginner. She didn’t perform confidently, needed multiple reminders to maintain the pressure. I don’t know if she was trying to not hurt me but at the end of massage I didn’t feel like I had a massage. It just felt like someone just applied moisturizer all over me and let me go.
The spa is always clean and smells good. The music is so relaxing and my massage therapist, Jian is the best there is. He is so patient, kind, accommodating, checks in throughout the massage about pressure etc. he reminds me to drink water and use my heating pad until I see him again! He truly cares about my well being!
This was my first experience with a massage, Jose was professional, kind and so knowledgeable, and the entire staff were kind and focused on safety in every possible way, it was a great experience and I look forward to returning.Edited to add: I had my second visit this week and was again very impressed with the safety procedures in place and kind staff. Roel was professional, full of helpful information and gentle kindness, I look forward to my next visit.
Patrice is amazing! It’s hard for me to relax during massages or really just in general but she is able to get me in a zone where all of my tension is gone. Her hands feel like silk and she has such a good energy that she gives off. I highly recommend her!
I went in on Saturday for a facial with Susan and had the BEST experience! I wasnt really sure what to do since I dont routinely get facials, but Susan recommended the healthy skin facial with some add-ons based on my skin type, concerns and current routine/products. She was professional, really friendly, and offered some skincare tips for which I was very appreciative. She also explained the benefits of each product used during the facial, which I liked. The office was very clean and it was clear the staff was going above and beyond to make people feel safe during the pandemic. I felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I left feeling fabulous and will be back! Thank you Susan!
The massage was as expected. However, I was extremely disappointed in the flow of communication. The services were scheduled for more than 6 weeks out (arranged both a 1.5 hr massage and facial) and I have been a long term member of Massage Envy but first time at the Naperville South location. I took extra care to follow all directions and quickly respond to request for confirmation. What was not clearly communicated were the thresholds for other facial services. Had this been communicated, I would have adjusted my plans. Again, I scheduled the service more than 6 weeks out, so there was plenty of time to appropriately plan all services. Ultimately, after securing a sitter and planning this date for several weeks, I was unable to receive any facial services as scheduled. When I spoke with the manager, she was very laissez faire in response. It was advised that text messaging is the primary form of communication and the updates only hold a “certain amount of characters.” Let me say that, I reviewed the text 3x and the additional service I had is very popular, so it should have been included in their list. She then commented that they were unable to provide a full list of services and recommended time between services. I asked how was I supposed to know your expectations if they aren’t communicated clearly. I received a sarcastic response, that my recommendation was a “good idea” and the ole’ “I’ll share this feedback with my leader” comment. It was particularly ironic that the manager WAS ABLE TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE A REQUEST FOR A TIP for the services I received, but didn’t attempt to troubleshoot or make me whole for the inconvenience. This hasn’t been my experience at other locations. I plan to continue my membership but I have no plans to return to this particular location. Luckily, there are several other locations in the area.
I saw that Massage Envy offers CBD upgrades that you can add to massage services. I wondered if it would make a difference in how relaxed I felt after. It absolutely made a big difference. I am a skeptic no more!Patrice is Awesome! I Had a hot stone massage the last time I visited. The stones were just the right temperature and my therapist knew how to use them to sooth my tight and achy muscles. I also added a foot exfoliating massage upgrade just because sandal season is not over yet😉!I had a massage from Patrice and a facial from Katie. It was so relaxing, it put me in a state of bliss.Yesterday I only had a short amount of time with Patrice but she recommended a treatment focused on one of my trigger points. She worked on that area until my muscles were smooth and mailable instead of tight knots. I highly recommend Patrice even a little bit of time makes a big difference.Katie is a very good esthetician she is gentle and thorough and I always get compliments on my skin. This time I got an exfoliating foot massage with her and it made my feet feel very smooth.
Stefan has been my masseuse for some time. Hes very attentive to my needs, uses the right pressure and adapts the massage to my moods - talkative, quiet or in-between. I always feel better mentally and physically after a session. I would recommend him highly.
DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT! The contract locks you into recurring payments regardless of how frequently you use the service and their process makes it very difficult to cancel - even when youre no longer locked in. You must go into the store to request a cancellation, and then the helpless staff cannot really help you because the manager is the only person able to cancel a membership in their system. The staff is very quick to tell you the manager is in a meeting and that you must wait for her to call you later. Then after you receive a call later from the impatient manager, you are told to wait for an email with a form you must print, sign, and return before your cancellation is processed. And then to boot, they tell you It takes 10 days to process the cancellation, meaning if there is a payment due within the 10 days, it will go through. SO THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD UP TO 10 days after you request cancellation!If they were into good service, then they would simply validate your identity and then process the cancellation with a smile. But they arent. The business model is clearly about getting credit cards locked into recurring payments, and then making it difficult to leave. Massages are just how they draw you into giving your credit card number.The massages are fine, but I have no reason to think theyre any better than a massage you can get anywhere else. So do yourself a favor and go to one of their nearby competitors. I know there are 2 or three other choices within five minutes of this South Naperville location. If enough people do this, then perhaps they will make some positive changes.
Stefan has been the only therapist I see for the past 4 years. To-date he has been nothing short of professional and continues to hold the quality and standard of massage envy. If you can get an appointment with him, it is definitely a bucket list experience.
Tina is an excellent massage therapist and the whole team at this location is wonderful to work with. I love coming to see Tina each month. Great pressure and technique and communication on my needs and wants. I highly recommend
I hate to see so many negative reviews! Ive been coming here for at least five years now, and my massage therapist is the BEST. I have to agree about management though. The front staff turnover is atrocious, and any decent front office staff have left (probably disgruntled). They seem to hire the youngest, most inexperienced young women and poorly train them. My monthly massages are scheduled ahead of time, and I then enter the dates into my personal calendars. Theyve also started using text message alerts for your appointments. I was very happy to see that as the reminder phone calls would be hit or miss. And of course, it wouldnt be THEIR fault that I didnt get a call, after all, its only a courtesy on their end. I almost cancelled my membership a couple of times but I love my monthly massages. However, when my therapist leaves, Im probably going with her. Its really too bad.....youd think a Naperville location would have better customer service.
Patrice did an amazing job of using the right pressure, since I have quite a lot of muscle tenderness. She is professional and has an excellent way to work out all of the muscle knots. I will definitely be a repeat client!
My massage therapist is excellent and helps relieve my stress, aches and pains. I believe it is a preventative measure that helps me stay healthy throughout the year. This is not the location where I purchased my membership, but has become my preferred location to go for my massages. This Massage Envy is more relaxing, feels more like a spa and the front desk is very professional. I was tired of my favorite therapists leaving and having to start over with someone new. I found the therapist here amazing and Charyl is 10 stars!!!
The only reason I have been so loyal to this location for this business for so many years is because of the massage therapists and estheticians. This location has managed to lose and drive away some of the best in their fields. Most recently I have had to request a freeze while I navigate treatment for my child diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The pandemic has made this all even more difficult. I was allowed six months for a freeze, but anyone that knows about the treatment protocol understands it’s a very long process and with an immunosuppressed child, I am taking every precaution. I dealt with Sarah and she would not make any concessions for our situation. I should have know this would be the case because this person has always been very rude with the clientele. I contacted corporate by phone and email to escalate the issue and ask for their assistance and they simply forwarded my messages to Sarah who proceeded to leave me a voicemail message telling me they would not be freezing my membership past the six months and I had been charged again. This company also obviously has little compassion for the financial strain of medical treatments, hospitalizations, and loss of wages due to what is required of this type of treatment.✔️ Not at all pleased with their customer service.✔️ Highly do not recommend.
Had a 90 minute massage with Jian. He addressed all of my areas of concern and worked out the sore muscle in my arm which gave me better range of motion. Great technique! Couldn’t believe the time went by so fast. Will book again with him! April at the front desk was a true delight very outgoing and professional! Both are an asset to this company! Can’t wait to go back!

Jose is a great massage therapist. He listens, and he lets you relax by not talking too much unless you want to. He does great on my feet too, which have bunions and could hurt if he moved them too much. Overall excellent ME team member!

Worst Customer ServiceIf I could give this place zero stars I would. I have NEVER in my life been treated so poorly by a manager. I have had two instances now that were completely out of my control. The first happened when I had to put my account on a freeze due to financial problems because of my medical bills. I had asked for a freeze with the ending date of my freeze to be 3 days after the original date it would with drawl from my account to make sure I would have enough. The front desk girl assured me they can move the dates and I had even signed the paperwork with the correct date I wanted it to be taken out. Well, that didnt happen and the manager DID NOTHING and didnt even apologize. She became defensive and refused to offer any valid solutions other than just cancelling my membership.I attempted to move past that and continued to go for another session or two. Unfortunately, I had to have another freeze due to having to go through Physical Therapy. Once I completed physical therapy, one of my co-workers, a couple months ago, offered for me to go with her since she had an extra massage. I had been cleared of physical therapy and when I came in after the massage, I had informed the front desk staff I would no longer be wanting my membership. They said they would take care of it and I went on my way.Fast forward to this weekend. I get an email from the manager of Massage Envy that my payment could not be processed.I was irritated to say the least. So I call today before work and I believe I got the same manager as the previous incident. The reason why I say this is because she likes to put blame on the customer and gets defensive rather than apologizing for the miscommunication and solving the problem. All she states is that her front desk staff knows the policies and procedures regarding how to cancel a membership. She stated there was no record of me filing a cancellation form.... which makes sense because I did not know I needed to fill one out. She also stated there was no record of me inquiring about canceling..... which also makes sense because their is an obvious lack of communication from the front desk to management.I have never in my life written a bad review and honestly believe in giving credit where credit deserves but this establishment is THE ABSOLUTE WORST in customer service. Which is really sad because my massage therapist was amazing and deserves a better company. And Im sure that is why on yelp, they have the lowest rating out of all of the Naperville locations.PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you plan on never having anything happen to you medically or if you plan on never cancelling your membership.Absolutely awful.

Hopefully your pet doesnt die the same night as your appointment and Anna helps you on the line and suggests instead of coming in at 7pm and not to sound insensitive but they have a 8pm available. I unfortunately had to cancel due to circumstances and was told Id have a manager call me back the following day..a week later has passed and no one had reached out so I called and they told me there were no notes when I was told by a girl named Amber she would note this and have someone get back to me. I had a Sarah call me back to lie about what Anna said to get me no where and was super rude. I would of canceled that day knowing they were going to wave the policy per Sarah but Anna was concerned about me coming in a hour later and never mentioned that to me. Its a shame, my husband and I were gonna get memberships bc we liked who massaged us.

Decent enough massage, nice clean environment but definitely corporate chain vibe. The monthly membership seems like a good deal, but Ive heard that people have trouble getting out of it. Cancellation can take almost two weeks to go through and you need to give 30 days notice.

This has happened on several occasions as I joined Massage Envy at the Wheaton location. Naperville is closer so I prefer a location closer to home. When speaking to Wheaton regarding the status of my account they informed me I was active in the system with a number of hours available even with the hold they placed on payments due to COVID. The front desk person said she would investigate and call me back. I have yet to receive a call back and dont understand why this is an repetitive issue.
Useless taking appointments. They never send a reminder and when you show up, they just say that they dont see any appointments on our name. This happened 3 times in a space of 2 days. I am done with this place.
Canceling my membership ASAP!! Massage Envy has been basically robbing my family and the policies they have set in place they dont care. We made an appointment and something came up and four hours later on the same day we called to reshecdule. They wanted to charge us 30 dollars to reschedule we just cancelled and if you cancel and dont give a 24 hour notice you lose your service that you paid for that month. Robbery!! even though the appointment didnt care. Then if you want to cancel your membership you have to go to the shop and speak to a manager. They want to make it inconvenient for you so you can forget and keep getting charged and charged.

What a waste of time and money. Ive had massages over the years, but never at Massage Envy. I figured Id give it a try since the prices were decent. I scheduled an hour and half massage to indulge. I arrived 15 minutes BEFORE my appointment time as requested to fill out paperwork. My appointment was supposed to start at 2:30. They didnt even take me back or start until about 2:50. On the questionnaire I put that I didnt want a therapist who was talkative, I like peace and quiet during massage. I even mentioned this to the girl when she asked if I had any preferences. The therapist talked THE ENTIRE time. I didnt know how to say please be quiet while lying there. The massage itself was meh. THEN what really upset me was she said, ok, times up and I sat up to get dressed, and looked at the clock- it was only 3:55! She only massaged me for an hour and five minutes. Maybe this would have been okay if they had started me on time, back at 2:30. So I had to pay for a 90 minute massage that was basically just a 60 minute massage. And of course this ridiculous girl takes me back into a private room instead of just letting me pay, to go on and on about some membership program. Why would I sign up for this nonsense? I tried to be polite and said Id have to talk it over with my husband (which is totally reasonable). She didnt listen and kept droning on about why I should sign up today. And then mentioned something about waiving a $40 enrollment fee and Im thinking, wait- $60 a month PLUS some stupid unnecessary enrollment fee. Why do you have to pay $40 to enroll? I mean, how long does it take this girl to type my info into the computer, 2 seconds? My college application didnt even cost $40 to mail in. Give me a break, people. Never going back!
The quality of your massage depends on your therapist, and most of them are above average. A pleasant experience overall
The therapists are awesome, but the staff and management is horrible. The Manager (Sharon) is nothing short of rude and horribly condescending. She speaks to you and her staff as if you have a grade school education. We had asked to speak to the franchise owner as my daughter signed up for the membership but because my credit card was used to hold the reservation, the staff placed that card on her membership. I never received a call from the franchise owner and Sharon told me that I was to take it up with my daughter. after 3 months of trying to handle it civilly I cancelled my credit card and disputed the charges as they had no proof I ever signed anything regarding a membership.I also found out from friends that they are so inconsistant with their memberships offering 6 months at a family rate when they feel pressured to make a sale even though the family is not members. They have a script that they are required to go through and face cut hours and suspension if not recited word for word and if their sales closing numbers are not within the target range.They act as if they care about your needs and the benefits massage offers which may be true for the therapists but for everyone else there they care so little. If you must choose Massage Envy, these franchise owners have a couple.... make sure you ask if the owners are the same as South NAperville!!!!!!

Nayeli goes above and beyond, has an amazing memory, is passionate and truly loves what she does. You guys are very lucky to have her on your team! I will keep coming because of her. The place was nice but be careful of price games. The lady lead the rate $34.00 for 30 mins. When I came back for my appt. the price was $55. And I asked what happened to the intro rate and was advised that it was only for 30 mins. I said I realized that and thats why I signed up. The lady next to her said there has been some miscommunication- we dont do 30 minute massage. I said you were sitting here when she explained the intro rate. She said that she was new - I said you should honor the price quoted. The ladies just looked at me as if this mess was my fault. So pissed!!!! Never going back.
Savanna/Suzanna is knowledgeable, thorough, and so talented at what she does (both massage and facials). Its worth the wait to see her, though there are many other quality massage therapists and esthesticians there.

I love coming here for my monthly massages and facials! Every service I have received here has been amazing and I always leave feeling better than I came in. The front desk is always a pleasure to deal with, especially Robyn the clinic manager.
Poor customer service. I arrived 15 minutes early, as requested. My appointment started 10 minutes late. I purchased the 30 minute stretch. It was ok, but I dont think its $48 worth. When I checked out, I paid but the lady who checked me out didnt even mention if I was done with the transaction. She kept looking at the computer and I was the one who asked if everything was completed.
Savanna was excellent! I loved that she explained what I should be feeling with each stretch and made sure I was doing okay. I felt like a limp noodle when I was finished which is a good thing! 😆
Poor customer service experience at Naperville 95th street clinic. ME customer for 10+ years. Very disappointing to see how they treat customers...prepaid for 2020, unable to use due to covid, would not do anything to help - basically tough luck that I pre-paid them in advance; wont auto freeze during covid times, demand that I request & fill out paperwork every 2 months...manager not very helpful, and hangs up in middle of conversation!!

Their website is so misleading. I booked for a masseur thinking she was a girl but upon arrival I was told that he is a boy. I told them specifically that i wanted a girl but they could not help me so I had to walk out after having to wait for more than 20 mins. Also, I found the front desk staff to be very serious. They just refused to smile when I walked in.
Love this place! The front desk is staff is fantastic, friendly, and super helpful. The MTs and Estheticians are wonderful. Each individual with their own. I can go in knowing I have several options of what I can choose from. Over all, I am very satisfied!

I went in with some neck and back discomfort and slight pain and came out with no pain at all. Jianhua his was fantastic! He checked in with pressure often and was very professional. I highly recommend him.

They say you start off $15 but never mention minimum wage until you get your first check. Everyone told me they misled alot of people about the pay rate and i didnt want to believe them but everyone was right. I wasted 2 months of my life to get the esthetician position and i wish i can take it back to the job i had turn down for Massage Envy. I even tried to report the false advertisment to the higher manager Laura and she didnt not believe that i was misinform. I guess thats how they train people nowawday. They fake it til you make it.
Ive had nothing but excellent experiences here. Everyone, from the front desk to the therapists, are very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming in for a massage or facial. You wont be disappointed.
WORST SERVICE EVER !! then I called back to speak to the manager and she just comes up with excuses why I shouldn’t be upset and feel robbed of my first massage experience . Would never pay to go here again . Massage therapist fell asleep while massaging & was very awkard on directions . The whole experiencing was unrelaxing and what’s worse is I wasted $55 .

Patrice has been my go to therapist for at least for 10 years. Staff is so nice and helpful when I need receipts or rescheduling (which I do often).
IF THERE WERE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD GIVE IT. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! they trick you into a contract and deduct $59 a month, never have availability during weekends (especially if you say you have a contract). I had a back problem, and it was a royal pain in the wrong place to cancel the contract, and they try to sell you more when you go to cancel (!!!) after that they do not refund the amount and tell you that you should have used up your rolled over sessions within some ridiculous rate, and expect you to use it (when the manager said differently). DONT WASTE your money
