Bartender was great!! Kitchen was clean and nuggets fried to a nice crispness. Has that “dive bar vibe”. Good place to party.

Cool little music venue. Stopped in for creepy fest and so glad we did. The bathroom situation was a little strange but we made it work. Will for sure stop in again for next years festival!

Decent neighborhood bar. Kinda awful beer selection but cool decor and ambiance. Band was way too loud, we had to scream at each other to be heard. Bartenders were very nice.

Very chill bar that holds shows on the weekends with local musicians. Also the drinks are reasonably priced. They also have some of the smoothest gin in town.

Stumbled across this lovely little bar whilst taking a walk through the city. The prices are good, the bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. The day we went they were having a crawfish boil, which smelled delicious! This bar feels like you should be a regular here, it has a nice homey feel to it. I would definitely come here again and sample some of their amazing beer selection.

So yeah, they decided that playing house-rattling music in a neighborhood on the regular was cool. Thats an illegal business concept and it shouldnt be promoted on a public website.This was a really great neighborhood bar that had events drawing folks from around town. Then there was a plague and everyone stopped doing things and feeling like the world was worth seeing so now theres only like three people there ever, their drink and beer selection have dwindled, and even small live shows are very sporadic.They started doing music again, but now they routinely disturb the whole neighborhood and wake children on school nights, so I dont know whats worse.

Chill spot but not somewhere I’d go with a lot of people since it’s pretty small once inside and not a lot of seating. The bartender was quick and the music was fun. It was a good time. Def a cozier bar than you’d get in other areas of New Orleans.

Nope. New management completely ruined the vibe. Used to be one of my favorite bars in the city, would go there 1-2 nights per week. Had a solid community of regulars and was a strong supporter of local folk music and dancing. Now they lost the great music line-up, got rid of the pool table, put screens everywhere, and got rid of any reasonably priced drinks.

Great bartenders and great environment. Sometimes theres a food pop-up and its usually really tasty and affordable

Decided to try the place since I live in the neighborhood. Got insulted by the doorman before I even got in the door. Bartender was nice, but there are too many good bars in New Orleans who deserve business to be disrespected.

First of all, just so were clear, I visited Sidneys because I was attending a wedding. The bride was lovely, the groom non-existent, so we all ended up taking his place and I got to kiss the bride, so... 5 stars.Also, its your classic NOLA dive. Multiple local beers on tap, including Irish Channel Stout, to make the visits worthwhile.. A cute little chick from Lafayette, desperate for attention and tequila shots, to make the visits really worthwhile for the single woman or man. A nice dance floor and an overworked bar tender, to keep you wondering, was present, though I believe he didnt get a moment to kiss the bride, round the while thing out.. Well worth the visit.The DJ was good, too.

I don’t know if her name was Skyler or Skylar but she was hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had. It was a bit of an experience to be in that area but she made my group of friends feel at home and gave great advice about the city. Can’t recommend this place enough but be careful.

This bar is in a bad area of town were theres slot if drug deal going on.The bar in general has older crowed and a few of them likes to go both ways! I had an older guy that said hes a regular there, that brag to me that he knows so many bar owners because I told him I was looking for a job as a bartender, he said he can get me a job by talking to his friends. He like playing pool and wanted to play against me. Be aware when you go to this bar and an old white guy start talking to you!

Good beer selection, great music. Very solid corner bar. Im sure they have cool stuff going on later, we were here after work on a Monday.

Great staff, great prices, and a great selection of beer. If thats not your thing the frozen drinks are a must. Casual atmosphere, small, cozy and quiet. A perfect place to grab a drink and catch up.

This place has great bartenders..no matter how busy it is service is always fast.. they have cool unique and unusual dance parties that are always fun... new pinball machine.. but it can tend to smell a bit its not the bar its the people but other then that always enjoy myself

Sidneys always had something great going on whether its an awesome food pop up or local legends performing. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink. You never what fun is in store!

Newly reopened, it boasts a new decor and a selection of local craft beers for really reasonable prices. the owners are lovely and wonderful guides to the city. Even if you arent in the French Quarter, check the place out. Its worth a 15-25 minute walk.

You shoot pinball? Then you know about Sidneys. What? You dont know they got brand new teenage mutant ninja turtles and star wars tables? Out of the loop. Its walking distance to the Roch that houses all the other local tables. Get with it hipster. Talk to Weezy, hes the maaaaaan, man.

Lots of fun! Residents call it whole in the wall because it looks like an old house, I guess. Once inside, lively music, tv for sports fans, space for dancing, friendly staff, lots of drinks, even for teetotaler!

Evacuated my home in Florida due to hurricane. Wandered into Sidneys and felt very welcome. The bartenders told me all about the City and gave me lots cool spots to check out in New Orleans before I head home. Thanks Sidneys, Ill be back next time Im in town.

Sidneys is ah-mazing.The bartender named Jenelle will keep your thirst quenched with a smile on her face! The bar has an upbeat atmosphere - patrons are genuinly happy to be here. And they have fun events like a FREE CRAWFISH BOIL! (It was my first time, but man, it was great!)The frozen coffee drink is life. It will keep you going while you get white girl wasted. **Quite literally- it tastes like a Starbucks Frappe**I cant wait for my next trip down to NOLA. Sidneys will definitely be on my list!

The bar tender is top notch, drinks are reasonably priced, never a cover to see some of the best bands. All and all great spot! Lots of friendly people to talk to.

This is my new neighborhood bar, since R bar is closed and Im not disappointed. Love the chill/cozy atmosphere, everyone is welcoming. You will definitely find locals here.

So-so crowd. Some not even wearing masks. Bartender doesnt necessarily enforce any guidelines; if any. Guess tips are more important than the safety of ALL the guests.

She literally charged me a dollar for 2 cherries and 2slice of lime...😒 after spending $20 bucks on shots... Then after ordering a soda, she hands me a cup of coke with no ice. Like if you guys are going broke try some better ideas or at least get some decent barmaids...

I have been to Sidneys a few times and have always had a good time. I always see a new face behind the bar but the bartenders are usually friendly but tonight around 9:00 PM on 9/30/18 I came in with two other friends (also local bartenders) who wanted to celebrate a Saints win by doing a mind eraser shot between the three of us. (Take a pint glass, fill it to the top with ice, 1 shot of khalua, 1 shot of vodka and fill the rest of the glass with soda water) The bartender told us she refused to make the shot because it was too intense LOL When we even tried to explain it to her nicely, she simply refused to make it and laughed. It was very bizarre! You missed out on good tipping and easy pleasing patrons lady!

Big fan! If you’re down to never know what you might get into (Karaoke, live comedians, low key to out of this world, etc...) this is a great off the best and path spot to hit! Strong pours at reasonable prices;)

The frozen boozy coffee is perfect for a late night pick-me-up. Good beer selection, very laid back. No complaints here!

Great atmosphere, nice people, reasonable drinks. The band on Mondays is king James and the special men. Excellent old school rhythm and blues.

Your local dive with mellow good vibes, a sweet and snarky staff and good beer selection. Sidneys mixes it up with great music, pop-up food events and dance parties. Nice outdoor space as well.

Great St. Bernard neighborhood bar. Great staff, every bartender is rad and accommodating. Keef and Weezy are the best.

Tuesday nights Sidneys has become the new cool jazz hang with lots of amazing young players sitting in. Pop-up food outside.
