Woodhouse Spa - New Orleans

This is our first time at Woodhouse. The staff was very friendly and explained the services thoroughly. The atmosphere was incredible. This is definitely an experience I will have again.

Parking was limited, but I’m familiar with the area. Stephen gave me the best massage I’ve ever received! I felt like a new person after he finished. My facial was also exquisite. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The inside was clean and it was very tranquil immediately when you walked it. There was also a great selection of Christmas gifts to purchase. It was such a nice birthday experience for me. I definitely will be returning.

This was my happy place. But, I didnt get the experience I was looking forward to. My Sister and I went there for a relaxing spa day. We had pedicures, but it was just okay.The front desk ladies were very friendly, courteous and professional. Thank you Front desk ladies.

I had a gift certificate so decided to give this place a try. I booked a massage and pedicure for both me and my mom. Parking was limited behind the building but we arrived early and lucked up on a spot. The atmosphere inside is really nice and we enjoyed the relaxation/waiting room and champagne. Both of us thought the massages were nice. Not the best, but we couldn’t complain about anything. I wish we would have stopped there because the pedicures ruined the experience for both of us. This was the worst pedicure experience ever! Please do yourself a favor and go to a real nail salon. The techs seemed very inexperienced and didn’t welcome us or say anything hardly. I wasn’t expecting a conversation, but it would have been nice to know why my tech left twice for long periods. The actual pedicure was very basic. To think of it, they really just clipped and polished our toes. The polish was so thick on one of my mom’s toes that it messed up (way after we were cleared as being dry). She went back to get it fixed and the lady tried to polish over it…like who does that? We also worried about cleanliness. After the techs were finished with our toes, we didn’t see them sanitize the foot bowls (and we were in the room drying our toes for a long time). I absolutely cannot recommend having a pedicure here.

This place is so lovely and professional. The environment is so relaxing, it totally takes out any stress you could have. The stuff is very nice and professional, they make you feel comfortable during the whole experience. The installations are fantastic.I totally recommend The Wood House Spa, you would love it.Another experience at Woodhouse SPA:Love coming back to this beautiful and amazing SPA. This time I came to have a facial by Natalia. She was very kind and friendly. She has huge knowledge on all the ingredients and products good for your skin. The 5 stars are for Alexis, who did a very good job with the facial.As far as the check out experience, I DONT recommend. I think it needs some work. I was paying with a gift card “for a service” NOT for a set amount of money and when I was leaving I was told I had to pay the difference because their prices had gone up. I honestly don’t think that’s a good business practice.

Great place! Small quaint and the massage was good. My only small dislike was it was pretty light in the room so a bit hard to relax at first but all in all would recommend.

I always enjoy my experience here. My service today was excellent - Alexis was wonderful. She customized my facial to more appropriately treat my skin issues and created a very relaxing experience. Great results with hydrated skin and lymphatic drainage. She even worked out the tight muscles in my neck and upper back. I’d definitely return to see her!Only drawback of this location is that there are few amenities- no sauna or whirlpools, only one shower. Despite lacking these amenities, they create a relaxing environment with helpful front desk staff, comfy robes and spa sandals, calming music, beverages in the relaxation room, etc.

This was my first time visiting The Woodhouse Day Spa on Canal Street and everything was so amazing! The ambience of the place was so calm and relaxing! The front desk Ladies were all so nice and welcoming. I had a Body Balance Massage with Scott and he was truly fantastic! Scotts massage techniques were so relaxing and he targeted each area. Thank you so much again Scott and I will be visiting again!

Hands down a very nice place. Karen was such an amazing masseuse. Magical hands for sure. This place is so relaxing. From the lighting, personal lockers, comfy robes, and sandals they provide for you.

From the pre to post spa experience....it was superb! The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive from checking in to leaving. Relaxing environment and Nice facility. The 2 complimentary cocktails was refreshing & warranted when having a spa day!

I got the Body Balance massage and the Hydrafacial. Blue delivered a wonderful and relaxing massage and Natalya did the best facial and was so sweet. The dressing rooms and relaxing rooms are set up so beautifully and the way they cater to you and move you from service to service is perfect. I will definitely be looking for other Woodhouse locations near me!

I always have amazing service at this Woodhouse Spa location. I go around 2-3 times a year for chronic pain and I always feel leaving refreshed and stress-free. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had on Wednesday - Ava was an amazing masseuse! I highly recommend this spa to all my friends - you can’t go wrong with any massage service here.

Wonderful calming atmosphere that promoted relaxation. The personal touches with name plates in the locker room and massage area made me feel welcomed.

This was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left. Even though this was a small building, the way the staff guided me through the process made it feel like every step I took was specifically made just for me. The lighting and how the rooms were sectioned off created a very intimate and soothing experience. It is what I needed, and I am still feeling relaxed and pain-free a week later.

I’ve been to the Woodhouse a few times alone and most recently with my husband. The staff is always so friendly. I like arriving early to unwind in the quiet room while enjoying some champagne. I’m always satisfied with my treatments! It was my husband’s first time getting a massage and he really enjoyed it. The scalp massage is my favorite! Be sure to arrive early or your experience will not be the same.

I made a last minute appointment for a massage. Woodhouse was able to accommodate me! My masseuse was Scott. He and the rest of the Woodhouse staff were friendly.

I loved and enjoyed my experience Ms Tyshi did a wonderful job with making me feel so comfortable and relaxed…. All of the staff was very welcoming and respectful I would recommend to anyone…. And I’ll most definitely be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wonderful! Stephen is Amazing, I always get the 80 minute deep tissue massage.The staff are so pleasant and welcoming, 10/10 would recommend.I don’t like the new sandals they have but I just wore my own.

I’ve been going to Woodhouse for a long time and had my first bad experience yesterday. I had a male massaging me (can’t officially call him a massage therapist because IDK what that was). I asked him not to apply too much pressure so he applied extra pressure. He never asked me how I felt when I audibly winced in pain so I actually had to hold up my hand and say “ouch”! the way he was handling my body! And he massaged my back from underneath without asking me to turn over! WTH?! I never reported that I couldn’t turn my body. It seems that he made a lot of assumptions without asking. Woodhouse, vett male staff. Our bodies deserve better.

Great ambiance, pleasant and attentive staff. My massage was amazing and my entire time there, both in and out of the treatment room added to my relaxation.

I love this spa! It’s my favorite place to go when I need a facial or massage. Their services are great (one of the best facials I’ve ever had) but where they especially excel is in the details. Their front desk staff is always so welcoming and accommodating! The little details of your name on your locker and a drink of your choice waiting for you in the relaxation room are just a few of they special details you will experience at Woodhouse.

I always have a great, relaxing experience at The Woodhouse in New Orleans! I booked the Mommy to Be Massage, and it was so relaxing! I will try the Metairie location next!

I cant say enough great things about my massage today.Woodhouse provided me with a wonderful, zen atmosphere. Beautiful space, soft lighting and quiet. It was lovely, and I now want to redecorate my house.My massage was wonderful. Cong is now my new best friend, he just doesnt know it yet. From start to finish, he was a consummate professional. Starting with hot towels, he kicked things off well. The pressure was the moderate to deep pressure I asked for. Without my having to say a thing, he identified problem areas and worked on them so well. He was quiet, and gentle when he needed to communicate with me. His attention to detail was outstanding, ensuring that he used touch prompts to let me know what area he was working on next, and ensuring my sheet was smoothed down after finishing on an area. His attention to small details made an incredible difference and speaks volumes about his skill and professionalism.I walked out feeling better than I have in ages.Yes, I could have gotten a message for less money elsewhere, but the experience would have been less and the quality would have certainly been less.I will be back. Woodhouse Spa, from booking to check out, was wonderful.

To start I arrived thirty minutes early so that I would have time to decompress before work. While in the waiting area I was served a nice refreshment and waited patiently for my appointment which was to begin at 530. While waiting I was asked twice if I was with a separate party or if I was to attend with a partner, which slightly irritated me because I was arrived by myself and made no notion of the sort to suggest that I was with a party nor with anyone else for that matter at check in. It didnt help that I could see the party looking at me just as confusingly when I was asked the second time if I was with them or apart of some other massage duo. The next shortcoming was with time.I arrived early so that I could begin on time and yet I still waited at least 10 minutes for my masseuse to fetch me from the waiting area and I still needed a minute or two to disrobe and settle into the suite.I should have seen the red flags, because My massage was certainly not the best. I will grant my masseuse the benefit of the doubt, since I had booked the last time slot for the day, so maybe his hands were tired. Nonetheless there was a noticeable lack of pressure. Most of my massage involved being rubbed down by their forearms, and not much of a massage with their hands. Even after I requested more pressure, I did not get much satisfaction. I ultimately drove my own body weight into the pressure being applied. I felt like I was doing most of the work and though the conversation was decent, it was not enough to distract me from how disappointed I felt about my massage. 80 minute massage ultimately felt like a waste of time, and not in a good way. Moreover, initially, when I made my reservation I tacked on a 10 minute head massage as well. You probably guessed it, but I, personally, am sad to say I didn’t very much enjoy that much either. So much so that I asked the masseuse to leave my head be and work on my feet instead. Definitely not the experience I was expecting, but the atmosphere was nice.However, I did encounter another unpleasant experience as I checked out.On my way out , as I was wearing the robe, a representative other than the professional checking me out, in a rude tone demanded I took the robe off. Myself and the cashier were taken off guard, because neither of us had even realized I still had the robe on. I complied, of course; but when I asked for help, the hostess declined and reached for my personal phone instead of helping to assist me with the sleeve of the robe I was having issues getting off. I Really didn’t enjoy my experience as much as I thought I would not recommend

As a first time spa-goer, I’m impressed. What a lovely atmosphere! Everyone is friendly as can be, and it’s such a relaxing experience. I received the Seaweed Marine Eye Compress treatment, and the Deep Tissue Massage. The services were excellent. Unfortunately, my appointment was booked at the end of the day. I enjoyed my experience for the most part, but I was slightly confused and shuffled from one room to the next and then out the door without really getting the chance to take it all in. I was not offered any drinks or anything of that nature (again, understandable. It was closing time.) I am hopeful to return and really get the chance to experience the relaxing experience that Woodhouse Day Spa offers.

OUTSTANDING service! From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out you are treated as though the earth revolves around you and only you. Mimosas or whatever beverage you choose flows freely, robes and slippers soft as silk, & the ambiance is impeccable !!👌🏾 Massage was A1. Im already booked for my next visit. I wish I could rate them 10 stars because they all truly deserve it. Very well managed and staffed 👏 👌🏾

Best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had alot)! Ashanty was my massage therapist and she was incredible. From check it to check out everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I only wished I could have stayed longer.

Great experience. Lets just say they started me off with a mimosa! Like, really? Loved the experience - the ambiance was great. Had a great time getting a massage and then my eyebrows done. Would come back in a heartbeat. Its a bit pricy but I think its worth every penny.

Ive been there twice so far for the Woodhouse Experience, which is an entire day spa experience. Both times, my wonderful husband gifted this to me for Christmas. I have never had a bad experience. Everyone goes out of their way to pamper me and make me feel like Queen for a Day! I absolutely LOVE going there! I cannot wait until my next visit. I highly recommend the Woodhouse Day Spa to EVERYONE!!!

Been going here for years. Got another appointment today. Theyre always courteous, facilities are impeccable, and will continue visiting for the foreseeable future.

The massage was good, however, for the price it was not worth it. I have paid less and gotten more. It was loud. It was crowded in the relaxation room, hard to relax when you feel like a sardine. There was only water, pretzels and tea in the room. Other LUXURY spa I have gone too had fruit, muffins, wine...as I was leaving I overheard the hostess asking a lady if she would like a glass of wine. I was there 1 hour prior to my appointment and no one asked me anything. They need more relaxation rooms, better sound insulation and need to treat all guests equally special with the wine. Minor details like disposable underwear for those getting waxing or body services has always been standard when I visit a LUXURY spa, here it was not. For the price I paid, I had to either mess up my underwear with the oils and lotion or as the hostess told me wear nothing and it will be just fine. I did not enjoy my experience, wont be back.UPDATE: I was contacted by management and offered to come back at a discounted price because my previous visit is not a representation of The Woodhouse Day Spa. I am not from there and am not sure when I will return but when I do, I will revisit. I applaud the customer service of this spa with managment who are dedicated to make each visit right.

Excellent atmosphere here. Very conducive of relaxation. My wife and I did a couples massage here. They provided robes and sandals, a changing room with bathroom and shower, complimentary beverages and snacks, a relaxation room to hang out in before and after with books/newspapers/magazines. Therapists were skilled and had an excellent presence. Best massage experience in New Orleans I’ve had.

I got a massage and facial. All technicians were nice and professional. The service rooms were clean and comfortable. The locker room and the wait room, wasnt as private and comfortable with space as I would like. I felt staff could have been more attentive with refills beverages during my wait. There was no acess to other drinks besides water. However, it was the opposite when checkingout. I was bombarded by two staff members asking for gratuity at the end of my visit; very aggressively. I felt pan handlers be more respectful than these two young ladies .

After being taken to the locker room, I changed and waited in the quiet room as instructed, for my mimosa. 15 minutes passed by, still no mimosa, which I only had 10 more minutes until my appointment. I had To call the front desk using my cell phone to remind them about my drink …. The young lady apologized and said she forgot .This is by the way …Next my masseuse Fareen, proceeded to start my massage, that felt like she was just applying body oil on me . There was no compression or massage techniques used . I told Her to focus on my back, she didn’t start on my back until the last 10 minutes. I was highly disappointed and notified the manager.I will not be returning, the Metairie location is much better .

I havent been to the Woodhouse New Orleans spa in a few years and recently received a gift certificate and decided to return. The kinks that were present after they initially opened are long gone. The staff is professional, efficient and friendly. My massage therapist, Jason, is wonderful and I leave feeling totally relaxed. The relaxation room is nice but can be noisy at times when groups are present. It may be helpful to put groups in the back area and close the dividing door. Otherwise, my visits there have been peaceful and relaxing- just what the doctor ordered

I had a fantastic experience. All 4 times Ive been there, its very clean, the staff is courteous and attentive. My second visit, there was an honest slip up mistake, however as soon as I mentioned it, they more than made it right. Every service Ive had has been phenomenal. Elizabeths mud wrap is my favorite so far! I have another appointment coming up to try another signature special.

My boyfriend & I went for a duet massage. It was hard to get an appointment but it was SO worth it. They had a robe and sandals waiting for me in a changing room and a relaxation room for before/after the massage. Andrea did my massage and she was very sweet. We will deft. be back!

I recently took a trip to New Orleans and scheduled a visit to the spa for me and 8 of my girlfriends. The experience was perfect. We were very well accommodated, and the quiet room they reserved for us was lovely and serene. Even though the weather caused us to be late they made arrangements for us so we wouldnt miss our spa day. I absolutely loved the massage and everyone in my party felt the same. Great place, even better customer service. If were ever back in NOLA I would definitely go again.

My boyfriend and I went to Woodhouse Spa for a couples massage. It was our first time going. They were very courteous and made the experience a good one. They had everything laid out and was ready for us with smiles. I was impressed with the relaxation room. They had tea, snacks, spa water and even offered wine or mimosas. I felt right at home. The facility was clean and relaxing. I will be recommending Woodhouse to others and returning myself for other services!

I had a bad experience my first time here and I said that I wasnt returning. However, I received a call the very next day from the Manager and she apologized and wanted to do a redo. I am so glad I took her up on her offer because I was able to have a better experience. I received a Swedish massage from Francesca and she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I was gifted a massage and went as a birthday treat to myself. I had a Swedish massage. Everyone is top notch, from the ladies that greet you as you come in to the masseuse. It is such a relaxing experience. The ambiance is amazing. I loved every minute and cant wait to go again!

I came to the Woodhouse today for the first time, and I LOVED IT. I scheduled an aromatherapy bath and two massages for a day to myself. I had a glass of champagne and relaxed in the bath and then had my two massages from Jazmyn. She was very professional and it was a wonderful massage! I will definitely be back, and bring friends with me.

I had the full package deal. It was my first experience. It was so Awesome!!! Everyone is so professional. I would recommend that every woman should put this a put of your life. I fell asleep three times. The scrub bath is amazing. Hot stone massage is great. Arnelle was so calming and understanding of my medical issues. Complimentary alcohol, plus size robes. I loved it and would love to come back. I took a two hour nap when I got home. My body just melted.

Always a great experience at The Woodhouse. My husband and I recently took a day off together while our son was at school and had a date day, which included a few hours at the spa for some relaxation. Our therapists (Jason & Joel) were wonderful and the spa itself is always a serene environment. Cant wait until the next time we can treat ourselves!

The hot stone was amazing! Vanessa was a master at her craft and was very flexible with adding in deep tissue with the stones. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone. Go relax, turn your damn phone off and get you a mimosa or manmosa and its worth it. Thank you Woodhouse Team!

We experienced a couples package- massage/facial and pedicure. I didn’t want to leave. Everyone we encountered seemed to be genuinely smiling and they were helpful. Clean, fresh space. On time and not rushy . The complimentary beverage was cherry on top 💕

Ive been getting services there for a long time. I have had massages and facials and pedicures. Ive been there with a friend and alone and I always feel like the people that provide the services are exceptional. I like the surroundings, the comfy furniture, the low lighting and the beverages. My last massage with Neesa, was one of the best Ive ever had. If I had anything that Im not crazy about, it would be the co-ed lounge space. Has it always been that way? I thought it used to be separate. Anyway, I give it a solid 5 stars and will continue to enjoy their services.

My wife and I went to get a massage per recommendation, everything seemed nice, I was going for a massage and my wife went in for a massage as well.All was going pretty well, the masseuse was massaging my legs then my left arm. She then stops and apologized saying time was up. Okay.I talk to my wife, who had the same allotted time for a massage and she had her arms, legs, back and all fully massaged. I was mentioning to my wife I was a bit annoyed about not having the right side massaged due to time; but realizing my wife had a full massage in the same time span while my entire back was untouched even after they asked before we started what were problem areas and I mentioned my lower back, I am to say the least, upset.*I will mention they gave me a small discount, when I mentioned the uneven massage in my arms. However after chatting with my wife I realized that I didnt get a back massage at all.I went in for a relaxing, destressing experience; and left with some irritation that only got worse after realizing the total contrast in experience given the same time and day.I could not recommend this place knowing that your experience could be like mine.

From the moment you enter Woodhouse Spa you feel a sense of relaxation. Every member of the team that I met was professional and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of having a Volcanic Stone Massage and a Vichey Shower. Both services were spectacular. I highly recommend both to everyone if they are able. The Serenity room before, between and after services was very tranquil.I will be returning and visiting other Woodhouse Spas in other cities and they will have a very high standard to live up to.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. I had a swedish massage. I thoroughly enjoyed it, a bit rough but enjoyable. I felt he spent a lot of time on my back and realized it so he had to rush doing the rest of my body. I enjoyed myself and was very relaxed afterwards. I like the personal touches too. Everyone seemed friendly!

I was surprised with a 50-minute massage and it was indeed a true and delightful surprise. The atmosphere was beyond serene. There was no wait time and when we were done changing into our robes, our masseuses (Karen & Tamlac) were at the door waiting for us. My masseuse (Karen) was extremely delicate during the deep tissue massage session. From the moment we entered the building to the second we exited, I was surrounded by pure tranquility. Needless to say, my experience here was indeed 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5-star.

Ive been going to Woodhouse on canal for years even had a few friends start just off of how great they were and how much I spoke about my services. Due to the pandemic I stopped and it has been over a year since I last went for either facial or massage. Now pregnant and unable to consume much water where many skin has gotten really dry, I decided to schedule because the city seems to be in a better space with handling the virus . My appointment was yesterday, I went in and sat in relaxation area waiting for the person scheduled to see me. After 10 minutes passed (never sat that long in the past) I decided to go to the front and ask if they had ne checked in. Was told yes and she would be with me shortly, about 5 minutes later the manager comes in and im told the person scheduled to see me had called in and i was asked if I could reschedule. I was furious after having to get a sitter and driving to this location .The manager said if I can come back my service would be free. This was the first time this happened so I said it was okay and rescheduled to go back today. Today I went in and im not sure if they put me with the newer ,most inexperienced member but my facial felt like she rubbed my face ,shoulders and hands with the same oil for 45 minutes. I told her about me being dry and asked about something being put over my eyes to help. She told me she didnt see anything and that because I am now drinking more water it must be clearing up. Disappointed, I still tipped after being told this service would only be 15% off not free (later changed after speaking with another manager). Now sitting home i am looking at my face with the same swollen pimple never touched ,around the eyes dryness looking drier than ever and I am even more furious. This is my last visit to this location because Ive always enjoyed Woodhouse I will try out the metairie or Slidell location next time but Canal street would never in life receive service from me. I am very disappointed at how so much has changed there.

I planned a couples spa day at the Woodhouse and it was awesome. The massages were wonderful. The atmosphere was soothing. We had wine and mimosas. The pedicures were nice and the changing rooms were very accommodating and comfortable. I definetely plan on going back and inviting others.

Horrible service, the front desk are ignorant and rude.im a frequent customer at the Metairie location. But this one is horrible the robe and slippers look like jail house stuff.

I dont remember my massage therapist name but I almost asked for her number when she was finished. It was my first time getting a swedish massage and I cant wait to go back. The ambience of the room and how peaceful it was made the experience even better. Definitely recommend

My experience was a little stressful. I drove around for about 10 minutes trying to find a parking space because all the spaces in their lot were full. I tried to call and ask if they had any other parking and I was placed on hold for five minutes. I hung up and called back. They immediately placed me on hold again. Finally, I parked in the Walgreens parking lot across the street as I did not want to be late, but then I couldnt relax because the whole time I was worried I might get towed. I told the people at the front desk when I finally made it in and they kind of shrugged it off. Finally, when I got to my massage, it was mediocre. I asked the girl to focus on my upper back and shoulders, but she spent like 15 minutes rubbing the top of my feet. It was odd. Definitely do not feel it was worth the extra money I paid to go there. Probably wont ever return.

What a hidden gem. The staff is very courteous and go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. I had 2 services- massage which was excellent and facial- my face felt simply marvelous.

Ava did my deep tissue massage and she was freakin awesome. She paid extra attention to my shoulders where I was feeling tight and I feel like a new person now. I will be back!

I’m not sure I’ll go back. A spa is supposed to be relaxing, but this one is like being on Bourbon Street☹️Loud talking. Therapists really vary on skills. Last massage, the therapist was tired or bored. She was so bad I asked her to stop and I left. If you’re looking for quality and professionalism, I’m not sure that exists in New Orleans.

First time getting a massage. They answered all my questions. After getting into your robe, theres a nice waiting area. I got a complimentary mimosa. I ordered a deep tissue massage. I felt really rejuvenated afterwards. Theres street parking and they share a parking lot with Juans Flying Burritos.

So I love Amanda, But I hate the fact that my husband buys me gift cards that I can never get a booking I feel like I’m wasting money by even getting a gift card there.. I told the receptionist four different times that I travel which means I can’t book 2 weeks in advance BECAUSE I travel!!! But I can never get a booking.

Im still a little overwhelmed by my deep tissue massage with Arnelle last Saturday, post-all the Ida clean-up. What an absolute PERFECT 50 minutes that was! Ive been getting massages for 35 years and this was one of the very finest. Arnelles technique, coupled with all the right questions regarding tender spots and the amount of pressure to use, was exactly what I needed. Thank you Arnelle, you truly have a gift. I still feel like a million bucks and cant wait to come back for another session. You did it again, Woodhouse.

I had an early morning appointment. 9am on a Saturday. The bathroom sink and surrounding area had obviously had not been wiped down from the night before. An eyesore was one of the first things I saw which then lead me to wonder if the shower had been sanitized, etc. I clean for a living and am in tune to these observations and something like a sink not even wiped down leaves me with a feeling the rest of the place is just as unsanitary even if its not visible to the eye.In the past Ive had Misha do my facials. Between her personality, care, questions she asks, magic touch and quality of her professionalism, she is a difficult one to replace. I have no complaints about my service but nothing stood out either about the experience. Well yes it does in fact. I just remembered as I was laying on the table afterwards relaxing, she knocked, stuck her head in and asked if everything was ok. Understandable, maybe I did lay there a little longer, didnt seem like it, but none the less, in the end I felt rushed.I do hope youll pay attention to cleanliness and appearances. For me, I really would rather find out where Misha went and try that spa. Im no longer impressed with the Woodhouse Spa.

Have had massages from both Neesa and Jason and I have to say they are both awesome, as was Kelly, who did my nails. They call their waiting area a relaxation room and I have to say, it is aptly named. The front desk concierge are always friendly, and the spa is located near some pretty good restaurants. Theres a street car directly in front of the spa for anyone wanting to explore the city after their services are done. Ive heard parking can be an issue but if you follow the advice from the concierge and leave early, it really isnt that big of an issue. All in all, a wonderful experience!

Went for the first time for a ManiPedi. The positives are: great ambience, gives you a true spa feeling, organized.The services were not up to par. Ive had many ManiPedis before that were far better, longer, and much cheaper. I was going to a wedding, mother is the bride, so I wanted my nails to look their best. After I got home and put my glasses on, I could see all the defects in the manicure, missing spaces, lumps, cuticles still needed work. On my toenails, same thing and you could see how they went out the lines. Dissatisfied. I wont return. Also the bride was disappointed in hers as well.

I had such a great experience at Woodhouse Day Spa. The environment is so relaxing and comfortable, and the staff were extremely nice. I received a microdermabrasion facial. I definitely plan to come back for other services. I highly recommend.

The stars are for the service - it was great, but this location is just not worth going to. Parking is a nightmare - they even send you an advance email admonishing you to come early enough to hunt for parking so you dont make it late to your appointment. So by the time you walk blocks to get there after hunting for a spot it is impossible to relax (at least for me). Not necessarily the fault of the business, just the way it is. But I will look forward to taking my business to the new Metairie location once it opens.

One of the good things about this day spa is the location. Mid City New Orleans is one of the best places in the City & Woodhouse gets it right. A few other good things: online scheduling of services, many food places in the area, online gift certificate printing, text & email notification of upcoming appointments, great staff, relaxing environment... Just to name a few.One of the not so good things about this location is the size. This spa is one of the smaller spas Ive EVER been to; I consider myself the day spa aficionado. I believe I even spoke with one of the owners regarding the lack of space in this facility. One other not so good thing is the parking situation. The day spa shares a parking lot with the nearby restaurant & a housing unit/residential unit.I do frequent this location for the services, but hate fighting for a parking spot.

The Woodhouse Day Spa is undoubtedly my favorite spa in all of Metro New Orleans. I have had facials, massages, pedicures and manicures here. I have never been disappointed.This is the only spa in the city where you have that true, high-end spa service, but for a reasonable price!I always arrive about 45 minutes early because one of my favorite features is pre-treatment... You arrive and they greet you by showing you to the changing room where a robe and slippers (in your size) are waiting for you. Then, the hostess brings you to the quiet room where you can sip tea, fruit-infused water, wine or champagne! It is the best way to unwind.

I dont even know where to begin.Ive visited alot of spas in New Orleans but The Woodhouse was the best spa/massage experience Ive ever had.My husband and I did a couples DEEP TISSUE massage and we left there feeling extremely relaxed and wanted to do it again the following weekend, lol!!The massage therapist was in tune with my needs.She knew exactly where I had the most tension and targeted those areas.Will definitely return!!!

Ambience was great but the massage was the worst. She didnt even read the paper I filled out when I got there. I have rods and screws in my lower back and she actually hurt me....i had to stop her twice. Now Im sore where she tried to give the metal in my back a deep tissue massage. Will not be going back.I still have not heard from anyone from this facility regarding my experience. FYI

The atmosphere was sooo relaxing. I had the eye treatment session and I noticed a considerable lighting of the dark circles under my eyes after the services. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will purchase the product that was used.

Anika, Kellie, the ladies at the front desk, and the young lady Nina made my experience here even more spectacular. The services we received were bragadocious if I spelled that right. I gave up on nail salons in New Orleans, for the lack of experience, services that you pay for and never get, and actual technique. Im glad I found this place because it will be my return spot every two weeks. Thank goodness for a real spa experience.

I got a massage from JASON! He was absolutely amazing! He addressed every problem area! His knowledge of anatomy was on point and I could finally relax! If you go to this spa you must ask for a 2hour treatment with Jason. He will take you to another world. His boss needs to give him a raise!Thank youuuuu

The back, neck, and shoulder massage was relaxing and therapeutic at the same time. Best all around massage experience I’ve had in a long time. Not sure when I’ll be back in New Orleans, but when I do this will definitely be on the itinerary.

I have visited several times and enjoyed however my last experience was the worst. Customer service needs plenty of attention. I will NEVER return. There are plenty others in the area that my family and friends will try.

The ambience was amazing, and the mimosa were delicious. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The massage was definitely the highlight of this experience.

Treated myself to a deep tissue massage, the experience was great, staff are friendly and professional .Jason did an amazing job and made me feel really comfortable. He even moved my wig around to massage my neck ! Lol

Loved this place! Had a deep tissue massage and it was great. They integrate stretching and sports therapy into this massage. The bathroom and relaxation rooms were awesome. It is pricey but the environment and luxuriousness is worth it.

I have been there numerous times and varied services. Love the atmosphere of the place and the treatments are fantastic and truly relaxing. They try to accommodate your every need. Joel, and Jared are excellent and everyone tries their best!

I didnt even get passed the initial scheduling part. I just called to schedule an appointment and spoke with a receptionist named Sarah. She was uninterested, rude, and just plain not helpful... and Im EASY! Businesses need to know that the FIRST point of contact is their front desk person/receptionist. These are their front-line solidiers. Sarah needs more training on customer service, because today the spa just lost a sale. I woke up wanting a full day of bliss, and asked her for suggestions on a massage and facial (and perhaps shes having a bad morning) but she just literally seemed to care less, and had a major attitude in her voice..so now Im off to find somewhere else.

Duet massage was great! The hostess essentially rushed us out after our massage, though, which was rude and a huge bummer. The waterfall shower is a really neat experience.

Heaven on earth! I bring a friend & go as often as possible on a week day as weekends are obviously more popular. BYO wine and snacks and the excellent staff will Ice it down, plate it up & have it waiting for you in the serene quite room. The services are not cheap so check the internet for coupons. I can usually find a 20% or more discount offer a few times per year. There is not one negative thing I can say about Woodhouse Day Spa or their staff.

Always love my experience at the Woodhouse! It is like walking into heaven. My favorite spa place ever. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because some of the staff is a little unpolished and loud.

My fiancee and I went there for a couples massage on vacation. I had Karen she had Cong. It was every relaxing and both Karen and Cong were very friendly and amazing we will definitely be back again when we visit New Orleans again.

Over-priced with retail-chain quality. Think massage envy. Very disappointed in the manicure/pedicure services especially. The facility is very nice but Id prefer if the quality of services was the main draw not the waiting area or locker room.

Was trying to book online and theyre online system was really hard to make an appointment. Ended up calling to make an appointment and was still having difficulty booking an appointment. We eventually got an appointment but then they over booked that day and told us they couldnt accommodate what we had booked. It also sounded like they wauted till the very last min to cancel us and they also gave us attitude when we asked them what was the reason. They did offer to reschedule but we had booked our appointment towards the end of the trip.

I got a massage here and a Brazilian wax ...the massage was once of the best id ever gotten by Cong and ill def ve going back for another longer one and the Brazilian was as excruciating as one would expect but Im glad I went here as the tech walked me thru it and helped me to manage the pain and got them it quickly and efficiently...Im grateful as it was my first time...Ill def recommend this place I also bought a candle but the skin care products are really expensive...in regards to the services though the price is well worth it and me and my bf both love the Woodhouse spa experience
