They were able to take us in for a last second massage on a weekday afternoon. The rooms are separate but they had a barn door they opened for couples massage. They really get into the knotted spots by kneeling on the bed to get that good pressure. Service was great and they did check in with each of us if the pressure is okay or if we wanted to extend our massage near the end.

I visited this massage parlor a few days ago. When making my appointment, I specifically mentioned that I had another appointment afterward, so I needed to start my massage on time. However, upon my punctual arrival, they made me wait for over 10 minutes, which worried me about my next appointment.During the massage, it seemed like they didn’t understand my requests. At times, the masseuse pressed on my bones, causing significant pain. Although several days have passed, my back still hurts, which makes me question their proficiency in English and whether they are licensed to perform massages.Well the massage lasted only 50 minutes instead of the 60 minutes but they still make me paid for 60 minutes and plus a tips, which was very disappointing.Unfortunately, I may not return in the future.

After a long day of walking all throughout New Orleans, I was able to book a massage at this location. The massage therapist was excellent with just the right amount of pressure. I would highly recommend this place to everyone in the garden district. It was excellent.

I have had 2 massages at this newly opened spa. I like a deep tissue massage and Jane, the therapist, asked me what areas to concentrate on, which are neck and shoulders, and she did exactly that, while also giving me a great overall massage. The environment is very relaxing and the massage is excellent. I will be a regular at Magazine Massage Spa.

This massage was AMAZING! I do lashes and I am bent over all of the time along with stress from school. I got a 40 minute massage and it felt like heaven on earth. It is worth the money and time and the massager was so sweet, welcoming, and informative. I came in a with a headache and left seeing more clearly. Thank you so much! And I definitely recommend anyone reading this to come and spend a lot! And tip.

I live and work in the neighborhood and I’m SUPER glad they are a part of it now. Best massage I’ve had without the hefty price tag. If you’re expecting a full service spa experience, this is not it. BUT if you’re in need of an intense massage to heal your aches and pains, look no further! I’m a bartender that works 40+ hours a week and I deal With chronic pain and muscle tightness. Jake completely rocked my world and was extremely respectful and attentive to my needs….I do have three suggestions: I think it would be great have an aromatherapy add on to services to enhance the relaxation aspect! I would not mind paying a little extra for some lavender or eucalyptus. Maybe a better music selection? The piano instrumental music was ok, but I think some binaural beats to promote chakra balancing would make it the perfect combo. And some candles in the massage room to make things feel a bit more spa like would be fabulous! Overall I’m very pleased with this business and I’m already looking forward to my next message!
