My go-to online shop for skincare! Although I live on the West Coast, I continue to buy all my skincare products from this NY Salon. The shipping is always quick and they include lots of samples with every order. Recently I purchased a gift set that ended up being sold out. Paul G. was on it! He called to update about it being out of stock. Instead of cancelling my order he said theyd honor my purchase and put together the set for me. They didnt have the bag it came with, and offered to switch it out for another one they had in stock. Such fantastic customer service! Most places would have just canceled the order. This experience reminds me why I keep coming back, even though Im on the other side of the country. Thank you and 5 stars to Paul G!

*This review is only for their online shop!* I live in California but have always ordered my Biologique Recherche products from this salon because of their quick shipping and generous samples. I recently fell in love with a sample of the Creme VIP O2 and wanted to buy the full-size product before leaving on a trip, and their front desk/office team was so helpful in making sure I would receive my order before I was scheduled to leave! I love this salon! I have been a customer of Jovanny’s for at least 18 years. He is a superb colorist and always gives me the perfect cut. He is also one of the nicest people I know. The salon is friendly and welcoming.

I have been a customer of Paul Labrecque since they opened. My hair always looks beautiful, both the cut and the color. The service is outstanding. During the Corona closure my stylist Amerah has gone above and beyond, offering guidance for home care. I am always getting compliments on my hair. All the staff are friendly and professional. I look forward when they reopen after the pandemic. Highly recommend!

I ordered online but they sent me the wrong product. When I contacted them for a return, I had to pay for return shipping. I’ve bought several times from this salon, and things went smoothly. But this time they wouldn’t admit to the mistake and put the blame on me. I will be buying elsewhere from now on.

I have been going to Paul for hair color and cuts since 1989. I consistently receive compliments on my hair color, and many friends have become clients of Paul.. Paul and and his husband Brian run a welcoming, superior quality salon. In addition to his professional talents, Paul is an exceptionally kind person who gratuitously gives back by in his spare time visiting nursing homes and providing “make overs”for battered women.

Paul Grasso contacted me directly and resolved the issue.Biologique Recherche does have strong actives so if you have a skin type that doesnt respond well to too much. Start slowly with an exfoliate and moisturizer and if you are in the city try and get a consult.

Best place TO BE DISFIGURED - One star as no star doesnt exist as an optionMy son came back from a facial on the eve of an audition, disfigured by a novice, A chemical burn was confirmed by the dermatologist. The treating aesthetician, after half heartedly apologizing and refunding the money for the treatment, actually lied that she never did in fact apply the product (chemical peel) that ruined my son face. Let this be a warning: fancy name and even fancier prices are NO guarantee of quality!

I go to this salon to see Maggie and she is absolutely the best! Im always pleased with the results whether its color, cut or smooting treatments. Highly recommend her!!
