Hey there 👋! Just wanted to give you a heads up about this spa I visited. Brutally disappointing, I swear! 😤 They had the audacity to charge an extra $5 for a card payment, a detail they conveniently forget to mention before you get their massage service. 💆‍♂️💆‍♀️But wait, it gets better 😒. They also slap you with a mandatory 20% tip at the end! They pull this off, right when youre all relaxed after the massage. Talk about a rip-off, right? 😠 Id say, dont even bother with these jokers 🙅‍♂️🙅‍♀️. Save your cash and your dignity! 💸💸

Ive been to other Tai Ji spots and compared to those, this one is on the lower end of quality. You get what you pay for. Its on the cheaper end ($47/60min) but if you are paying card then its $53. Also they barely speak English and rely on google translate to communicate. Ive been here twice and it was OK. The second time was very cold though because the AC was on full blast. Even though you keep your underwear on, the therapist at the end asked me if I wanted to be massaged anywhere else....um what? Not sure if this is a legitimate massage place anymore.

Had a very bad masseuse(if I can even call her one) here. Went in slightly sore, left with an intense cramp because she did not know what she was doing. I went for an hour massage and she left to go open the door multiple times, she was probably gone for 10-15 minutes, so I was only attended to for 45 minutes max. She then had the audacity to try and force a tip from me before leaving as well, getting angry and borderline violent. Would not recommend, and definitely will not be coming back.

Any and all good reviews must be fake. If I wanted someone to leave me cold on a table like a corpse, I wouldn’t pay money for it. The lady that attended me kept leaving mid “massage.” She basically rubbed oil on me every couple minutes then charged me for it. Waste of time and money and I feel worse than when I came in. Do not come here.

My girlfriend and I asked for a couples massage, so basically we were in the same room but it was divided by a blind divider?Anyway we both had the same experience, it seemed the masseuse weren’t experienced at all, the motions were awkward and off, and we both left hurting as opposed to feeling relaxed. Iv been coming here for years and every time I have a girl I have a pleasant good massage no problems. Whenever Iv gotten a guy they are just very weird and creepy and I ask for a Woman. Today I had a man who was trying to touch too close to my butt area and spread me while the blanket was on. Then he sat on my head and his private area was on me. Immediately got up and said what are you doing get out. Another man came up and worked on me for 10 mins and I got up and choose to walk out. The energy was disgusting and I’m so disgusted with you guys. The men there are such creeps and I don’t trust you guys anymore. Please be aware. Iv never felt so violated in my life. And then had the nerve to ask for a tip at the end.

I work out pretty regularly and my lower back was pulling and I asked him to focus on my legs. He was sweating and out of breath at the end of our session because he worked on my legs and lower back with a lot of pressure. I have had excellent experiences here, but really need to be able to speak on the phone with someone who is conversant in English. Its very frustrating that conversations are limited to what time? and I cant talk about what I need from the massage. My wife and I would be frequent customers if we were able to request our preferred therapists. Today, we both have opted to go elsewhere.

Booked a reservation for a couples massage in person the day before. The receptionist confirmed that we were doing a couples massage. Next day we come in on time for our appointment. At first a different worker came up and checked our reservation in the notebook, couldn’t find our number until my husband pointed it out. Then went to the back to speak with someone in a foreign language. Left us standing for several minutes before coming back out and telling us to sit. We sit, still waiting for several minutes while they keep talking. Then the woman comes up to us and tells us that she’s sorry they’re too busy today and can’t massage us. My husband misunderstands that she can only take 1 of us, so we sit for a few minutes longer. In reality she was telling us she couldn’t see us at all. Just doesn’t make sense why you would put us in for a set time and then we show up for our reservation only to be told we couldn’t be seen because it was too “busy”. Mind you, the waiting room was empty. In reading some of the reviews I guess we dodged a bullet. I’m just upset that we drove 30 minutes to get there on the last day of our vacation when we could’ve done something else.

I got a 75 minutes massage from Lucy. She walked on my back and she massaged me and she put hot stones on me at the end. The whole process was relaxing and healing. I loved it. It is not that noisy as other review stated here. These people work for tips! They are cheap for a reason. So don’t cheap on tips!The front desk could be a bit rude and unfriendly for sure. Its a tui na massage. Its firm and deep tissue. They will work on knots vigorously. Its not the kind of massage where they are going to just rub lotion on your skin lightly up and down. This massage is work. The masseuses work hard to identify trigger points and aggressively work to relieve them.Ive gone here off and on for the past 8 years or so and the massage they give here is how I judge all other massage places. Im typically sore after I get a massage here for a day and then everything loosens up.

For their prices, the massage is VERY WORTH IT. This most recent visit I had Coco and she was very strong and did an excellent deep tissue massage. They do couples massages and singles. If youre highly aware of your surroundings you will hear other peoples grunts/slapping sounds/footsteps because the walls dont go all the way to the ceiling. BUT, if your massage is great, you probably wont notice anything else except those wondrous hands working the knots out of your body. One quirky issue though: We gave a 15% gratuity which seemed like a reasonable expectation but then as we were walking out, we got called back and was told there is a minimum 20% gratuity! I think they should probably post that somewhere so they dont have run-ins like this.

This place is so awful! When I specifically asked for a women, they gave me a man. Nothing felt enjoyable during my hour full body massage all he did was hurt me and pushed down so hard that it was pushing into my stomach - on top of that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. They performed the massage with a used dirty towel over my entire body barely touching the skin. I came out of there so upset and my body felt even worse and hurt more then it did coming in. The hand motions that were made were terrible and felt so rough and fast not slow and relaxing. They raised the price from what it originally said on their website and they told me how much I should tip after receiving my change.

Staff was yelling at each other when I walked in and I could still here them chatting throughout my massage. Wasnt asked where I felt tight or sore. My masseuse got mad at me when she told me to relax and since my muscles were super tight(hence the reason I went to get a massage) it was hard for me. She would chat to the masseuse next door in Chinese after this happened a few times in which case Id tense up more because I got upset. Super rude, walked out feeling tenser than when I walked in.

Taiji is probably the best hour-long body massage place that doesnt creep you out when you walk in. The interior is clean and professional looking and they almost always have availability. Be sure to check their website for monthly specials they have to get the lowest price. The massages include foot massages and hot stones too. My only complaint is their mandatory 20% gratuity.

AWFUL experience: 1) inauthentic - the masseurs displayed a blatant lack of knowledge about reflexology; 2) extremely rude service - my masseur went missing twice during the massage and just kept me waiting without any explanation or apology. When I raised this issue, rather than an apology i got raised tempers and insults hurled at me (I happen to understand Chinese). And after being insulted I was pressed for a tip! I would never set my foot in this massage place again, and would not recommend this even anyone (I mean that).

All I can say is wow.I took my friend and her sister here for her birthday, hoping the reviews were true and that it would be good. I am not from the area, so it was a crap shoot for me.They were flexible on the time, and my friend and I got to be in the same room which was kind of neat (there are many paired rooms and individual rooms, and the paired rooms can offer more privacy with a curtain).We bought the special that was $53 (cash; higher for CC) for an hour and 15 min. They started a little late, so they ended up doing almost 90 min. I felt SO. GOOD.Even my friend, who has been to the top spas in Manhattan said that was the best massage she had ever had, that they hit literally every pressure point (even ones in our scalp). I felt flat out woozy for an hour because my body was so relaxed. Every person I saw leaving the place looked the same way lol.As I was walking, all of a sudden I realized that my chronic arm pain (since Aug 2012 injury) was relieved. Still greatly mitigated today, two days later.There was this one thing she did that I can only discribe as a pleasant vulcan death grip! It was on my neck, and the moment she did it, it was like every point of tension in my body simultaneously floated up and out. I just kind of melted.Its cool because they balance so many different kinds of massage into one session: foot, cranial, hot stone, deep pressure, asian (bars in ceiling).It was so good. Highly recommend it.

I got there at 3:05 I left at 3:25 I asked for a 30 min massage and they gave me barely 20 min but still charged me for a full 30. As a massage therapist myself working in a retail shop I have a set lunch break and to be told the time I got there was the time before I punched out is crazy to me also the quality of touch isnt there big rip off take ur money else where.
