The Grayson

Cannot say enough great things about this establishment! We stumbled upon it by accident due to a sudden storm and needing to seek shelter, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of our trip! Great food, perfect location, fun atmosphere, and very kind owner. I have some dietary restrictions, and he was extremely accommodating with checking ingredients for me, etc. Cheers!

This was one of the best NY hotels I’ve been to. The building is new and modern, and the rooms are pretty large! Also right in the middle of Manhattan so easy to get everywhere.

Cool sports bar with a lot of space and lots of bar foods too. Tbh there were a couple bartenders who seemed just really annoyed at having to be there lol but overall I liked the vibe and service of this place. We had a few food items and some were good (the sliders!) and some was not good (the guacamole was just smashed avocado I swear.) I would check out this place out again if I was in the area and in the mood for a sporty place.

We are staying at The Grayson Hotel on holidays from Australia. We have actually extended our stay because the hotel is just amazing. Perfect location its walking distance to everything. Broadway, Bryant Park, shopping, Central Park, Times Square. Staff are so helpful, lovely and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great place to watch sporting events and grab a bite to eat. Good food selection and good service. It does get crowded if you need a table put your name on the waiting list. Dj plays a good set list.

Christian was amazing he was super hospitable and made the best drinks and made our experience. Unbelievable! Highly recommend going to the Grayson to stay or even to have a cocktail.

Great atmosphere for games. This is a Badger bar for Wisconsin college game days. They even have a Wisconsin menu during games that has cheese curds!! I went here for March Madness game and the place was packed. The waitress we had was super friendly and the staff were great getting our food and drinks pretty quickly given how many people were there. I would definitely come back again for the cheese curds even if the Badgers are not playing.

Best beer & burgers in the LES... Nothing has changed pre covid to post covid.Maybe less servers and menus. All good if it bumps up the efficiency factor.

Was here about 2 weeks ago... service was kool but the drinks were horrible and idk how can you possibly mess up a whiskey sour but it was horrible, we ended up ordering extra shots to level it out but we still ended up not finishing them

Excellent taco Tuesday experience! After 7 you get $2 chicken tacos that were absolutely delicious as well as $5 select draft beers. Elam was a great bartender, will definitely be backIn the picture you’ll see the lettuce wrapped chicken tacos we got as an appetizer. Amazing

Very popular place with college students and locals. Went in to watch Monday night football. Service was good when we got there but then the poor bartender got slammed later. Still a great place.

Had some fun here for the knicks playoff game. Its a long, narrow, venue but theyve got enough big screens to make it feel unencumbered. Food was surprisingly good, better than i thought. Unfortunately the vibe wasnt very into the game. I guess the crowd was a bit younger and there just to drink with their friends on a regular friday night. If thats your goal, grayson is a great spot. If youre hunting a new york sports bar to watch new york sports games, this isnt gonna be the one.

Love this spot to grab drinks and watch games. They play all the games- super fun and lively on Sunday. They had a DJ too which was cool. We came by around 12:30pm and was able to grab a table for 2 without a rez. If you have a group recommend reserving a table. The staff here is great- attentive and always checking in (even with a packed bar). One of my go to sports bars.

Phenomenal ambience and food, the wings were crispy, juicy and full of flavor (we try 3 different wings flavor), mozzarella stick are to die for and the waffle fries . I was there for the Super Bowl and it was fun. The place is bigger than expected, waiters and bartender are active even went the place were full capacity. I will come back to try the loaded potatoes

I would definitely try this bar again, but I went with a friend a few weeks back and as soon as we got into the bar it took us 15 to 20 minutes to get a drink. The place was so crammed with people it made it almost impossible to actually get to the bar. It was Saturday night so this is typical, but we were body to body with people wishing a few steps of the front entrance.The drinks are moderately priced, so no complaints there. The music was good, and the place definitely draws a younger crowd.Will definitely try this place again on a Friday, or earlier on a Saturday

Wings are super bomb, especially the Grayson special sauce. Nachos were amazing with steak and so were the quesadillas. Wish they had more draft beer options.

Service was excellent. Drinks and food great. Special shout-out to the server. She worked the bar as well as serve the customers all by herself. Will definitely return and recommend. Great atmosphere.

Horrible bar, I used to love the Grayson, till one night some wasted guy tried to flirt with our friends and pick up a fight. Then called the bouncer and told us its his cousin, we been called racist words by the bouncer and his drunk cousin, we left for our own safety and called the police on the drunk guy, which the bouncer told him to get out of the neighborhood as he saw us calling the police. If you cant hire a proper bouncer that does his job and makes everyone feel safe , don’t open a bar! Horrible night, I hope the owners take action towards what happened!

Wandered in here, after hitting a few spots in the neighborhood, to catch the first half of an NFL playoff game. Great spot to catch the game with numerous flat screens, a lively atmosphere and a long full service bar. We didnt eat but the food looked and smelled tasty. We ended up staying for the whole game and had a great night. Definitely will return when we get back to the village!

The bouncers and security staff are very rude... if you go on a busy weekend night be prepared for that. Im pretty sure some of the bouncers bring their friends, because for some college students they have 8 bouncers all sitting in the front gossiping, laughing at guests who are trying to get in, and overall exuding some weird power trip from being a club bouncer. Horrible vibes, ruined my entire night honestly—after that experience I just wanted to go home.

Extremely crowded on the weekends. Bartenders are nice, but there arent many, so youll have to wait to order a drink. Lots of young, single people - its probably a good place to try to meet someone new. The dance floor is packed, but it looked like people were having a pretty great time.

I loved this bar. I went looking to watch a sports game at a supporters club and it was packed to the hilt. We stumbled across this place and left as happy as could be.Its somewhat unassuming from the outside but once in, they have a load of televisions and projectors around with a great vibe. The staff are friendly and very attentive and the food is well priced and the portions are massive for what you pay. Our bartender even offered us a round on the house to keep us around because she knew we were visiting.Great place to have a quiet drink, great place to enjoy a sports vibe, great place to have an amazing time. Came with a couple of friends 08/2022, a random man came up to me and punched me in the face and then his friends proceeded to jump me. Security essentially watched and let the guy go and then told my girlfriend that it was not their problem while i was knocked out on the floor.Based on past reviews this is par for the course for the bouncers/this establishment. Id avoid it unless you actively carry pepper spray and are prepared to fight and pay for overpriced drinks.

Very tasty bar food. Great brunch. Loud sports bar. Great DJ however when the games are on, he only plays during commercials. IDed at the door.

Fun sports bar, but the layout of this place is annoying. From the bottleneck of an entrance to the tables situated in the back, this place can get overly crowded quickly, which can ruin the experience. The DJ can sometimes be a little over the top and the people here tend to be super fratty. Nonetheless, fun if you are with your group of friends and just looking to watch some sports on their 10+ TV screens.

Great place for food, drinks, and music! I am a die-hard fan of the chicken wings, in which The Graysons has a variety of flavors. I can definitely vouch for the Buffalo (of course...its a bar!) and Spicy Chili. The sliders are great as well and the french fries are cooked to the right crunch consistency. 😊 The DJ is there Thurs - Sun and the music has always been on point when Ive been. Great spot to chill and have fun!

I didnt think I could Have so much fun playing ping pong. This is a great place to come with adult groups. The mezcal cocktail is amazing and the bar bird are super yummy too.

Amazing spot, we found it just passing by. The bartender, Corina, is sweet and personable. The wings were 10 out of 10 stars and the burger for $8 cant be beat!!!! We will definitely return!!

Probably the most energetic, live sports bar I have been to. 11 large screens in the middle bar room with all games labeled. DJ was on-point with perfect timing of amping up the crowd during commercials and fading it out as soon as the game comes back on. Seriously, this is the place to be on game-day.Also, the Sunday happy-hour was awesome. $5 Bloody Marys with BACON! These were so good. Eggs Benedict special was also a great.

A lot of TVs to watch but small place and not dog friendly. Had one persons say service dogs were welcome then right after another person say no dogs at all

Had a great night there, fun dance floor and music. The only problem was that the music was incredibly loud, to the point where I think I may have permanent hearing damage. Ears have not stopped ringing loudly three days later

Love Grayson. Its my go to bar in the east village. Their food fare is fresh and extensive... Burgers are my recommendation but their tacos are not bad.The usual beer happy hour.. Lager, ipa, ale...no sours though.There are enough flat screens to keep you occupied with assorted sporting events showing. Fridays and weekends it can get busy.

Caught the MLB playoffs here. Obviously Yankees friendly with a DJ on in-between innings. This is a good spot if ur looking for high energy crowd. Beers on tap are decent. Service is good. Id go back again.

Bouncers super disrespectful for no reason and denied me with my real NY ID. Hire bouncers who know how to identify real NY ID’s before working. No explanation and wouldn’t even scan it when I asked. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

Great sports bar!

I love this place. The backyard is cute and almost never packed. The drinks are cheap. It’s happy hour all the time for teachers. And the food is yummy. I love the fish tacos.

I went here with my girlfriend on our last night in NYC. When we entered, we were carded, which is expected for a bar. When the bouncer took my girlfriends ID, he looked at it and said: Not 21, not getting in... Get out. Both of us were clearly 21, so I spoke up saying that she had turned 21a few days prior. He looked at the ID and let her in. He then took my ID and before glancing at it, said: By the way, if Im not addressing you, dont talk. Apologizing and trying to explain why I had spoken up, he cut me off and shushed me.To say the least, the service was poor. The waitress wasnt very welcoming, and I dont think I need to say much more for the bouncer. But hey, at least the food was good, and the beer was cheap; the only reason this place deserves 2 stars.

Was a cool time. The mirrors make the place look way bigger def gassed me. They played pretty good music tho. Caters to different crowds, good spot for birthday parties I would say.

No coat check, and unhelpful employees. Drinks were mixed with an empty soda gun so you already know how good that tastes. Never again lol

HORRIBLE!!! Sad that they hire the bottoms of the barrel to operate this establishment. Friday nights bouncer was a complete ass, SUPER disrespectful, and should be fired ASAP. With plenty of places to go in the city, do yourself a HUGE favor and go anywhere else but here. Dear owner... put your employees on a tighter leash, their making you look bad.

I was robbed by one of the security guards here and the owner promised to look into it and never did. They definitely reached into my friends bag and took my wallet and her phone. Then I was harrassed outside and the security guard took a video of me crying, because i had no way to get home (seeing as all my cash and train ticket was taken). Horrible place, makes for a horribly run club on the weekend. Never going back and that security guard should have been fired.

Came for trivia night, GREAT cheese curds! The trivia left something to be desired but it is what it is.

Its just too bro to be a good bar, and lots of pushy guys and gals... Not typical East village vibe. Quite long, several bars within, and a DJ playing from a perch in the middle using his MacBook (read: just press play). Overall, I would avoid unless you are looking for the overcrowded bro var scene.

Food is just ok....Although is says and it looks like a sport bar.. (many many TVs everywhere) they have a very bad and loud music all the time.. we went to watch a very important match and even with everyone there for the same reason.. they never changed the bad songs for the audio of the match ....shame..

Great place to watch a game; tons of TVs all over the place. Average prices for a bar in that area. I really love the fact they have power outlets at the bar so you can charge your phone without having to ask the staff to do it for you.

Came here to watch the NBA finals. It made me wish that I had booked a table. Great atmosphere with the live DJ. Screens were awesome, as were the on-table mini kegs.

Garbage bar I dont know why anyone goes to this place. Staff is not cool at all; besides the bouncers, the bouncer was awesome. Drinks are over priced and the atmosphere is very boring. It definitely matches the very boring bartenders they have working there.

Sports Bar thats there headline, well yes during the day maybe for lunch. Got there at 10 looking to grab wings and watch the basketball game. Theres a tiny spot to eat says the guy at the front with about 20 people waiting on line to get in. Is this a club? Or a sports bar? Music blasting and no food, so it is a club.

THEY BROKE MY ID. The bouncer and staff were completely incompetent and rude when they confiscated my drivers license insisting that it was fake. They then proceeded to fold my ID in half, breaking it in the process. LEARN HOW TO KNOW THAT ITS A REAL ID. They destroyed my property. Completely unacceptable.

This place is not a sports bar, like Google has it listed. Its really a hip-hop club that happens to have a bunch of TVs with games on.
