Dr Angie is wonderful!! Had TMJ issues that caused my ears to plug. After her adjustment, my ears drained for the first time in several months. Norfolk is very fortunate to have this incredible place of healing!!

I have been recovering from a car accident that occured in 2/13/18! I have had several injections, 6 rounds of PT & 2 spinal surgery’s in 13 months. Dr. Jon McMannaman “Miracle McManaman” has been treating me for 2+ years & has been helping me manage my pain. He is extraordinarily intelligent & his ability to sense where the painful golf ball sized knots are is unbelievable. I have been to several chiropractors from the east coast to the west coast as well as Europe. Miracle McManaman is by far the best! I highly recommend him!

The team here does so much more than just Chiropractic care as we put a plan in place to get me back to golfing. It included chiropractic care and a stretching program that also built core strength. I have been swinging the clubs and this year I’m taking my boys out. 😊 Thank You!!

Dear Dr. Thone, you did the best thing youve ever done for me in the years Ive seen you. Today, you refused to see me. Your staff explained why - I still felt betrayed. After you refused, I made an appointment with another Dr. When I left, I figured he would say the same thing you always did... I should come back ASAP. (You were always kind when I didnt come back right away--and thanks for that too.) But imagine my shock when he said 8 weeks should do it. Wow! I didnt think I could find anyone better, but I feel just as good. So, thanks again, and best wishes!

Excellent place! Dr Mcmanaman is one of the best Ive ever been to and Ive seen alot since I have scoliosis. He takes his time, remembers what he did the last visit and creates a special care plan for every patient. Ive been to almost every chiropractor Norfolk and this is the best! Staff is very friendly and they always offer you time on the message table after your visit at no extra charge.

This place is amazing. Dr. Angie is so patient, makes you very comfy. Ive had upper back and neck pain for years and after 4 treatments so far, its improved significantly and the best part... I havent taken any aspirin to relieve any of the pain. Im so thankful I came here, its been a great decision.

Dr. Jon McManaman is a phenomenal chiropractor. He used techniques I hadnt experienced with other chiropractors to adjust my back during pregnancy. He relieved my pregnancy pain almost every time with just one visit each time! You wont be disappointed!

They have been very successful in treating my neck pain and giving me different treatment options. They also were successful in treating my infant son when he had tons of ear infections and spit up massive amounts after each feeding. We were able to avoid tubes and the spitting up stopped after one adjustment. They are also very good about educating their patients.

This clinic is truly amazing. The Doctors are very thorough and knowledgeable. They also offer a wide variety of services such as acupuncture, on site massage, and stem therapy as well as theraputic roller tables. I saw Dr. Jon McManaman. He is a fantastic chiropractor. He explained everything as he was treating me and was very thorough in his exam and treatment as well as offering advice for wellness care.

I had continuous back pain for months that hindered everything from my ability to do my job to my quality of sleep. After a couple visits to Angie and various stretches she gave me to do at home, I fully recovered in no time. I was so thankful. Her care has never let me down!

I highly recommend Dr. Denkinger at A Center for Chiropractic and Alternative Medicine, especially if you are seeking pre or postnatal chiropractic care, and for children and infants. Dr. Denkinger is attentive and listens to all of your concerns and asks questions to make sure she is giving the best care. She is gentle and doesn’t rush you in and out of an appointment. She has helped me with migraines, general aches and pains, and during and after pregnancy. After my daughter was born she was very fussy and never slept more than 1-2 hours at a time due to painful gas. The night after her first adjustment at five weeks old she started sleeping 4-6 hour stretches and was generally a happier baby. My daughter also was able to overcome an ear infection without antibiotics after only a few days thanks to Dr. Denkinger’s adjustment and suggestions of things to do at home. The rest of the staff are friendly, professional, and helpful. If you need a great Chiropractor you won’t be sorry for choosing A Center for Chiropractic and Alternative Medicine.

I have a 4 month old son who had torticollis when he was an newborn and I took him to see Dr. McManaman for a few months and he adjusted him and did stretches to help him be able to move his head the other way. While he was adjusting him he was so calm and gentle with my little man and explained everything very thoroughly so I could understand what he was doing. He also gave me some stretches that I could do in between visits to help it as well. This has helped so much and now his torticollis is gone. We have also battled with reflux and so I took him back to Dr. McManaman and he adjusted him and we have been going every week and I can tell a major difference from when we go see him and when we dont. Im so glad that I found someone I trust with my little man and it has definitely helped so much. I highly recommend him.

I have personally experienced professional effective care by both Dr. Angela Denkinger and Dr.Jacob Thone. I got relief and healing for my plantar fasciitis with chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, and massage. I appreciated the ease in scheduling appointments and flexibility of working with my schedule. I especially think the Drs are wonderful because I sent a lot of my clients to them primarily for pregnancy issues and the feedback from women and their families was always extremely positive. I am sure of at least 12 women who avoided operative deliveries because they used the Webster technique to turn the breech babies. They helped so many women with sciatic issues and other back pain complications of pregnancy. We should use chiropractic care for maintaining our good health also, not waiting for a problem to be seen. All family members including newborns can benefit from a visit. I am forever grateful that they are in our community and such as asset. Thank You both.

I have received treatment from both doctors over the years for neck and back problems. Dr. Thone did an excellent job evaluating my ankle after I sprained it badly. My girls have seen Dr. Denkinger since they were babies, and now occassionally get treatment for neck or back pain. Occassionally, they get wellness checks, even if they dont have pain, to make sure that a problem doesnt develop. I highly recommend them and their helpful, friendly staff!

What an amazing place and group of people! Dr Thone takes your whole body into consideration when evaluating your issues, and does a tremendous job. Besides the chiropractic manipulation I’ve used the exercise therapy he offers as well as acupuncture and the stems stimulation!

I went to see Dr. Denkinger after an unfortunate neck injury. I was in a lot of pain and was unable to turn my head; so the thought of having anyone touch it was very worrisome to me. Dr. Denkinger was very gentle, kind and professional. Her motherly touch made me at ease and with her help I have regained full range of motion in my neck while being pain free. If you are looking for someone who is passionate, holistic, kindhearted and gentle for either you or your children than I HIGHLY suggest Dr. Denkinger for your services. I have visited A Center For Chiropractic & Alternative Medicine many times and it is always a clean,organized facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would not choose to go anywhere else!

Fabulous staff and treatment!

I’ve never really believed in chiropractor work but was hurting and decided to give it a try. Oh my!!! After only several weeks I was back to my old self. It’s now my first line of treatment for back pain.

I recommend Dr. Thone and his staff completely. HIs normal chiropractic treatments are gentle and effective and his acupuncture treatments afforded me the only relief I could find from some nagging lower back issues.
