First time here on a friday happy hour, took me awhile to find good parking, the decor has a urban chic glow in the dark vibe, they have cute white swinging seats by the entrance, dress code is relaxed before 10pm, all drinks was $5.00, the wings werent that great, cold and hard, plenty of seating before 9pm, it was crowded later in the night, they had some very cute waitresses and bottle girls, I would go again

Went here Friday night to keep our celebration going. I’m glad we did. The club wasn’t packed to capacity but it had a decent crowd. The drinks and the music had me. They also offer hookah and food. The atmosphere is chill the decor is in an of itself, an experience. By the end of the night my only regret was not getting food to go. The food must be amazing the way the boxes were passing by. The dress code was casual. You can wear heels or sneakers.. jeans or khaki’s it’s all on how you feel. I can’t wait to go back to VA Beach to get to Culture. It’s an experience not just a night club.

It was really fun at first, I came for my birthday. Until I realized there was no DJ so I heard the same playlist and some songs 3-4 times throughout the night. The ceiling also was very leaky by our booth. Hookah was nice though.

This place was fun the drinks were good and cheap, hookah was good and the food was definitely decent. It has more of a clubby feel to it vs a bar. Unless you are sitting at the bar (which is extremely small) you will not be able to comfortably eat food. I would probably come here again to drink and dance the night away with my girlfriends but definitely would not want to come here for a dinner date. Overall its a pretty cool spot.

I’ve never had the chance to experience this establishment; however I’m doing a review based on the lack of professionalism and communication. I was invited to a birthday dinner for Friday night. When I arrived there was a group of young ladies already there wait outside; one asked me if I had known that they were closed? I was very surprised that they were closed at 8:30-9p on a Friday night and reservations had been made and confirmed, money paid for sections and service. No one was informed that they would be closed. Hours were not updated online stating that they were not opening or closing early. My commute was a hour for nothing a waste of my TIME most of all, gas and money. I can not say that I would recommend because the longevity of this company is unpredictable.

I really wanted to like this place but I couldn’t. They sold us a hookah and then told us we had to get up like 10 minutes later with no place to smoke it. We spent good money and it was just a dud. However it has great potential but it’s just kinda blah to me. Looks like they’re reaching for that 2010 club vibe: pretentious food, naked rude cocktail waitresses, and over mediocre hookahs. Which is unfortunate because they have the potential to be fresh and different.

I was suppose to celebrate my birthday here on September 2nd. A week before I set reservations for a section on September 2nd @ 9pm and paid an $100 deposit. Since then, I’ve texted the reservation number 3 times that they have listed on instagram and it has now been 2 days later and I still have not gotten a response from anyone. When I arrived, me and my group of friends noticed that they were closed. There was another group of people waiting as well. Nobody was informed that they would’ve been closed. I also went up there today (Sunday) to see if I could talk to someone there about getting my money back but they were still closed. Being that this was my birthday weekend, it was very inconvenient because I had to find last minute plans. I have been here before and this has never happened. It is very professional to have people waste their time and money.

This is one of the hottest places in the 757. The vibe was awesome and the dj kept the party going. They have a great management team, a guy named Sheen made sure the place stayed in tip-top operating order. We had a great time and will make sure to visit this establishment again when we come to the 757.

Hookah is at 20$ during happy hour which is reasonable and their service was good as well .... liked the drinks as well and the environment was lively too. We even played jenga and it was good. Unfortunately there were just 2 flavours watermelon and blueberry and we went for blueberry. Initially the hookah was not properly, it was getting chocked and we had to ask them multiple times to fix it. But it was good overall.

It was ok. Didnt realize it was so small with very little room to actually dance if you wanted to. The setup reminded me of a club in Atlanta but they seriously need to expand. I guess Ill try the happy hour one day and have a better experience. But as of right now I wont be going back for the nightlife crowd.

Music was lit,but the spaceing is horrible. It was very tight in there and it also didnt have a not too great of a smell as in that they do hookah in theyre facility and with it being a small space it just made it very hard to breathe and I think if they just add fans they will be good and maybe take out one of those VIP spaces because those were small to other than that it was nice I enjoyed myself

Small place at a certain time they removed all chairs. They accommodated me since i was in a wheelchair. The music was good. This place is really good for someone who is 18yrs to 35! If you drank wine or wine coolers you are out of luck.

Thought this would be nice vibes, but the people outside letting people in were rude! It was very crowded which is understood but it seemed like they kept letting people in... had to be over capacity.... no one was sitting in the celebration/v.i.p section when we asked about it the lady got an attitude saying it was sold out... a way to treat people patronizing a business.. I’m glad the tickets we had were free because I would never pay to go back there... this is honestly for the I just turned 21 crowd👎🏾👎🏾

It was my first time coming here, and my point of view is probably skewed because of the type of event they were having (silent party). It was extremely crowded and so hard to get to the bar. Its not Cultures fault, since they dont have much space when you actually get in, but a lot of people did not want to give up their spot at the bar to let others order drinks. I probably wouldnt have a silent party there again because you could barely move, or if there was one there again, really limit the amount of tickets sold so people can actually move around and enjoy it. Thanks to the one bartender that actually saw me and made sure I got my drink. I appreciate you and Im sorry I didnt catch your name. Im hoping to go back again when its more calm if that even happens, and Ill see if my review changes.

$20 for a cover charge? That’s an outright scam for what you guys have to offer honestly...I’m surprised anyone would pay that and the only excuse I can wrap my head around it for is because the locals here don’t know any better. That’s higher than any cover I’ve ever paid anywhere around here...including DC...many of which are free and actually has nice venues, not some tiny club with seemingly barely any space. Not to mention the woman in front on door was so rude. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

If I could give this place less than a str I would. The place is small and tight like an alley way and was packed unnecessarily to capacity. The cover of $20 definitely was not justified as the DJ was lackluster and subpar. U will definitely never return to this place and would not recommend this establishment.

Came from out of town visiting my daughter. Cam to this this club with family. They three people in our group $20 each and two others only $10. The drinks were overpriced. We absolutely nowhere to sit. I would not recommend this club to anyone

Customer service was horrible!!!! I wouldn’t recommended this establishment to anybody who expects great customer service. I order some food to go and was shorted on the quantity. I kept the receipt and expressed my concerns. The bartender goes and get the “Manager”. He states to me we don’t do that and disregarded the customer. I let him see my receipt and he said as the Boss I don’t care and I’m not fixing the issue. Was very disappointed on how he handled the situation as a paying customer! I would recommend the city to go to suite 1200 for a excellent experience! If they can’t fix a simple mistake of shorting a customer on 2 wings just imagine how they will handle any other situation!

It was a nice experience, be prepared to stand if you dont get bottle service or to the bar early.. There is no DJ the music is coming from a CD... Crowd seemed like a nice variation...

The one star is strictly for the DJ! The music was great for the 8 minutes we were there getting the run around! My sisters were in town to celebrate one of their birthdays. We called 2weeks ahead to reserve a section ,only to get there and find out our name was not on the list and the sections were sold out. Or ar least that’s what we were told , however a friend of mine who stayed after we left was able to get a section.The staff was very unorganized and nobody knew who we had been communicating with to reserve the section. They were not apologetic about the mix up and offered no other accommodations. What a horrible birthday for my sister! Thanks a lot culture lounge.

Very good pasta and the drinks were a heavy pour😜 The atmosphere was extremely fun and they have connect 4, jumbo jenga, and corn hole that you can play as you drink and smoke. The only bad thing is that they have very few hookah flavors

The place is unprofessional/unorganized. The bartenders and wait staff had attitudes. Drinks are watered down or bottom shelf is mixed in top shelf bottles. I asked the bartender to open a new bottle and then they didnt have any more bottles, mysteriously. $10 for 6 baked wings and nothing comes with the wingettes (not even the whole wing). VERY tight... They over book VIP all of the time. Then thay have you all the way in the back when other VIP people leave. Dont get VIP unless you know the promoters other than that, Dont dare get it online.

Pro: free on sunday, crowd appeared to be 21 to 25. con: the bartender only serves regulars and her friends..we stood in line to get a drink for 30 mins and it was only 1 person in front of us.pro: the dj(izzy) was good. did not order food

It was very nice place to hang out the hookah was amazing but I would have to say that it’s like a small environment. However, the music is really dope I love the DJ I would recommend this place I will definitely come back.

I was putting my best friends shoe on and they kicked me out I will never go back, I ended up having a panic attack outside because no one would tell me what I did to get kicked out. I literally got down, found my friends shoe, put it on, was looking for my phone bc I dropped it in the process, and next thing I know I’m being escorted out. as I was being escorted out i asked multiple times what I did why I was being escorted out and they just shrugged. I kept trying to explain that I was putting my friends shoe on and I lost my phone and no one was listening. And then the police came and then I panicked even more and I had no clue what was going on. It was a terrible night.

It’s very nice on the inside but it’s typically on the small side. Great drinks & great music. On certain days tend to be more crowded than others . Overall great experience.

It’s an okay club, the music and people are good. Wasn’t expecting to pay a $20 cover charge for a small walkway of a club. Wasn’t able to try the food but I saw a lot of white containers going around all night so I’m interested enough to come back and try the food.

Not at all impressed! The security guards were super obnoxious and rude. Didn’t say two words even when you’re showing your ID! No communication. Unfriendly. I’m a lady. Treat me as such. Open your mouth! If I’m spending money at an establishment, I expect respect. Don’t give me hand gestures! I’m not a child. Definitely not for a mature crowd.

I went there tonight to celebrate my brothers birthday. What a horrible experience I will never go back ..The lady taking the money at the door was rude.. it was to crowded and very small and three fights broke out which they didn’t kick nobody out. Where do they do at?? The atmosphere is for a younger crowd. If I could not have giving a star I wouldn’t.. absolutely never again will I return...

Its a fire hazard. They stuff you in like cattle you cant dance you stand shoulder to shoulder to stare at people mean mugging you. As soon as I walked in someone was throwing up on the floor. Save your $20 cover charge

Culture Lounge gets crowded quickly. Theres plenty to VIP sitting areas for guest to order finger bites and hooka. Bartenders pour reasonable amounts. I personally did not like the attire of the servers...basically lingerie and fishnet stockings. If you get there early Culture has board games and a large Jenga blocks.

Yo real dope spot ,love the atmosphere, loved the art work ,food was incredible servers were real nice😉 and real lookers lol, VIP treatment was on point ! New favorite spot in 757 ! Big up to my bartender Asia drinks were on point thanks luv.

This place is a serious hole in the wall. No class. It is for young kids . They charge 20 dollars to get in for men and 20 dollars for parking. Police for security is very annoying and hostile. You have to pay to sit down. Very unprofessional.

Started my Friday night off at another joint in Granbys, but after watching the zombies on the dance floor and ratchets toolin’ around that I figured this was about as good as its gonna get. Happened to overhear some talk about this spot called Culture...and since I had a few hundos in the pocket and the night was still young, I figured...Why the hell not?!The Culture Lounge is a dope little bar on Granby that’s one shot swag, 2 parts hip-hop, and another splash of Paint Night remixed into a sweet cocktail. The night was lit AF and was poppin heavy like my boy Ozone in that dance battle in the movie Electric Bugaloo.Once inside, it took a hot minute and a few sharp elbows to finally get to the bar and strike up a convo with the pretty boy bartender looking like one of them drivers from the Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. Hella cool, my dude closed me on some signature house concoction(I dunno the name) that he mixed up real proper. Best drinks I’ve had in awhile. I ended dialing him up all night...all the way until the lights came on and you realize those pieces you thought were dimes actually turned out being nickels.All in all...a dope night and well worth the visit. I’m definitely coming back soon and you should too.Here’s the moral to the story: Culture is often a reminder for what sets people apart. But, The Culture down on Granby figured out a way where you can bring em all together.

We had RSVP for VIP 3 weeks back. When we arrived I let them know we had VIP they said hold on. They overbooked VIP. What is the point of having customers make reservations if they are not going to respect it.

Pretty chill. No dress code and it wasnt crowded. Music was great so was the hookah. Make sure you have your mask.

The drinks are nice. The chicken was excellent however the asian flavored ones were the best. I came for happy hour, the setting is really nice.

Nice bar with great specials and the art on the walls is AMAZING. Cool vibes complete with vip bottle service, live entertainment, and a good DJ. I will be back.

Large lounge with huge TVs. Bartenders are really nice but its good to go there with friends. I rate it 5⭐ because of the reception but not a fan of the music playlist.

Great decor! Very small. Bathrooms and DJ could be a little better but overall a really cute place to visit when it’s not packed.

This spot was dope...happy hour Monday through Friday from five to seven...5 dollar drink and 5 dollar wings..the wings were on point...definitely hit them up

I came to this location out of town with some family and friends . We waiting online for almost 50 mins when we was at the front the bouncers were being very disrespectful and cursing at omg of my friends and judging her from her ID they were very rude we didn’t end up getting in because of the argument that took place
