I went for a launch party of a friend of mine. First thing I can say it was beautiful when u walked in. Then the food... Ooh baby the food was sooo good.

As a concert: Great place to see rising artists before they release a major album. You will be extremely close compared to other concert venues. If the concert starts at 10, it will probably be more catered to the club experience and their stage will double as a VIP section.As a club: not all that, but definitely one of the larger areas for black people to party in the 757. For the price, I dont recommend their drinks. I always leave with a nasty headache (cheap liquor). Friday night is the best night. Military/ladies free before 11, but know that you will be waiting a while to get in. Parking can get crazy but overall its not too bad. I only recommend if youre going with a big group of friends. If youre by yourself or just a group of 2, this place will seem very stiff.

Server was awesome but the wait for food was unbelievable. There was no one there. And she tried to ease our anxiety, but I was just darn hungry. They are going through a phase and I can understand, but we didnt know that when we sat down and half the things I ordered were not available.BUT...... The food was AWESOME! SOUL FOOD ASIAN AT ITS BEST!! SERIOUSLY FOOD WAS AWESOME. THEY WILL FIND THEIR PATH!!!

I love going here on Fridays or Saturday’s typically a hot spot in the 757. Music is always good & the drinks are perfectly priced. Grab your friends and head there one night you’ll surely enjoy the scenery and the dance floor.

I didn’t go for food I went for the “nightclub.” Ripoff. They’re taking advantage of people who’ve never been to a real club before and it’s a shame.If you’ve ever been to a city, you’ll understand why this place is being rated so low.Cover was $30 for a strip mall restaurant turned bar, first red flag. Wait was incredibly long and only people with “sections” could sit. Otherwise, no seating. “Sections” are wayfair couches in the middle of the floor that have to be reserved way ahead of time. Only tequila they had was Don Julio. All mixers were canned/bottled, and since the “bar” was just a counter, the drinks were lukewarm. Three warm shots in some clear sams club plastic cups cost 50ish dollars. Already out $80 for what felt like cheap college party amenities.It’s crowded and smells like smoke. Trap music all night (and don’t get me wrong, trap music is fire, but when there’s no seating, you want to hear something that will allow you to dance too).Then afterward they charge like 20 for a hot bar platter if you want food before you leave.I’ve been to better places with a $5 cover in NYC and Philly. This place is a ripoff.

This place was good. Good food and music. The VIP section was cool but the floor was extremely slippery. Not to mention the floor was wet with no wet floor sign. I ended going to the emergency room from slipping and getting a contusion on my face and a fractured collar bone.

Absolutely delicious food, especially the Mongolian beef, and reasonably prompt delivery. Ordered from them numerous times with no issues and the food is always good. Current photos of the blue lights with the stage in the middle is not accurate to what it looks like at the entrance. The lounge part is actually in the back portion of the place and turns into a nightclub at 9pm.

Worst staff!!! Badly managed!! Friend reserved a section for a birthday party. Sat in the section for 1 hour a half. Bouncer was so rude a push me out the section. My name being on the list meant nothing. Bouncer was so rude I would have left willingly if he had said something it wasnt a big deal. I asked him if I could tell my friend who I came with what happened and that we had to leave the section but he said no. I am a very professional woman and I rarely go out. This was the worst experience ever. I was treated like a criminal there. Im not a hostel person at all.

I had a marvelous time inside the Origami club which hosts the Bamboo Room. Its next to Ollies at 5957 E Virginia Beach Blvd #t18, Norfolk, VA 23502. Brunch is served on Sundays from 11-3. Be sure to check this place out. Its a new and awesome restaurant. The owner is hands-on and an excellent Chef. He brings soul to Asian cuisine. An Asian-Soul Infusion. The asparagus is something Id eat just by themselves. Cooked to perfection. The veggie black bean burger was very appetizing. They will be seeing me a lot. If you want to go. Go early afternoon. That way you can ask all the questions you want and you wont disturb their flow! Perfect place for gatherings, meetings, parties. They also have a club it can hold 700 people. So, lets get out there and support the Bamboo Room inside the Origami club. You wont be disappointed and the prices are right for a night out. The decor is elegant yet simple. Just the way it should be. You will feel the love he puts into his venture.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The security staff during the 6-8 happy hour on Wednesday’s are very unprofessional and rude. Watched them drag a girl out by her hair. DO NOT COME HERE.

The few times I have been there food was awesome and very nice. Ordered food over phone and was hot and ready when I picked it up.

Drinks were priced differently, depending who u spoke to...only seats are vip... the front section was nice. Bathrooms are clean.

It’s pretty fun, but they allow people to smoke weed in the club and it hurts my chest and when I leave I smell like straight smoke.

I dont eat Japanese, but my coworkers said it was good. Place was clean and employees were nice.

Bottle girls get two thumbs cause they do such a awesome job on beauty, body and charm to keep the party going (KTPG)

This place is a great place but they never answer the phone. I been calling to make a reservation for a section for 2 days now 😒

I went on a Wednesday night. Perfect atmosphere, food, drinks, (prices) and music for young (black) professionals.
