I recently moved to the area, and have been looking for someone to do my sew-ins for me since I got here. I just so happened to have a hair emergency over the weekend & thank God I ran across Ashia when I did. Unlinke any other experience I’ve had since being in VA she was hands down very professional (although I was last minute) nice, & timely. The salon is super cute too!I absolutely LOVE my hair & Ive gotten so many compliments since I left her chair. Ashia you’ve definitely gained a new client .. I will for sure be back! THANK YOU!! I got my first 360 wig installed at this salon yesterday(Christmas gift from Mother In-Love❤️) and I must say...I was highly satisfied by the service I received from Shiree and her assistant Makayla! All the staff was really nice and down to earth... and it seemed like every customer left with a smile on there face😆 . I will definitley make sure to visit this establishment again when I need my hair done. Thank you so much Hair Icon Beauty Bar and God bless you all!😘😇

First time getting a 360 frontal worst experience stylist was unprofessional tried to work on 4 different people at the same time and complained about another customer that she scheduled for a 27 piece that she didnt FEEL like doing and sent her to go get different hair. I was there forever & her work looked nothing like her Instagram kashslays. She over bleached the frontal & the tan wig cap was sticking out from the back(Im dark skin) and couldnt put my hair up(which is kind of the point of a 360). I complained and she offered to fix it so I went back. Only her and her friends were there hanging out she literally took a pair of scissors and snipped a little bit of tan cap that was still showing and told me if I swooped my hair a certain way and only did a low ponytail no one would notice.(basically tried to tell me to hide the imperfections she left me with). And said I was due back in 2 to 3 weeks anyway for frontal maintenance and shed fix it then. She actually expected me to come back and spend $85+ more when she couldnt do my hair right in the first place. Extremely disappointed since she seems to be able to slay everyone else on her Instagram. I work hard for my money never againUpdate:To the owner: She was my stylist at your salon months ago. I found a typo in my review and I edited it 2 weeks ago. So the review changed to the edited date. But I appreciate your response.

Dream Rx is a very fly and comfortable professional establishment they are very polite and have talented people that work there. My appointments are always easy to schedule and I’m always taken on time and out quickly thanks to my stylist Jasmine follow her on Instagram at (hairkillerjas) . This place will not disappoint you check them out!!

So went in for a pedi and acrylic nails. Was told no one could do acrylic at the time. Told them I would just do gel. During my pedicure was told I couldnt do gel on my toes. Okay fine then asked if they had the same color in gel for my finger nails. Was told that the gel dryers werent working. Okay cool. Then saw that they did lashes. I normally get my lashes done. But my normal lady was booked so I tried theirs. She asked if I wanted natural or volume. I said natural and size medium. They do not look natural or nice. I look like I have three strips on my eye lashes. Doesnt look good at all. By this time everyone left including the lady that was doing my nails. And did not get my finger nails done. Not by my choice but was rushed out of the store cause it was past closing time. I will never go back again.

My first time and it will be my only. I went to get my eyebrows and lashes done. However, Im not sure if the person that was doing my eyebrows knew what she was doing or not, but glue was everywhere including my eyes, I couldnt open my eyes they were burning so bad. They had one young lady who tried to help and was very helpful, but whenever she moved the fan from eyes it would just start pouring water again. The few seconds I had them open, one lash was crooked and glued to my eye lid and not my lash and it was white residue everywhere, and she told me to cover it with mascara. If Im professionally getting something done then I shouldnt have to do all of that. I asked to get them removed and that took 3 or 4 people to get them off. Something wasnt right, not sure if it was the glue, or if they used the correct glue but I couldve lost my eye sight that day. The glue she used was black but for some reason it kept turning white, Ive never seen that happen before. They said it was because my eyes were watering but that still didnt make sense. My eyes was closed I was scared and all I could hear was them talking and telling her what she did wrong when applying them on me. They tried soaking them off, they didnt come off and then using oil they didnt come off, and then I heard someone say they used numbing cream -__-. I was unaware of that until I was getting ready to leave and one of the young ladies asked me if my eye lids were still numb. Im not an expert with lashes but Ive had them done plenty of times and also removed, and for all of that to happen and they dont come off something just wasnt right. However, I went in around 5:20 pm, and was not able to leave until a little after 8pm because thats how long and how hard it was to get the lashes off. Im upset because that was on a Wednesday I left the next morning to leave the country with my eyes puffy, burning and sore. Came back into the country Monday May 13th ....& my real eye lashes are still stuck with glue and my real ones are coming off as I continue to try and get the glue off. People believe because the way it was burning and the residue it left that it was super glue. Im not sure so I wont say it was but that was the most scariest and overwhelming experience Ive had to deal with. I didnt argue with anyone I just left, because my eyes were still burning and I just wanted to go home, it was so hard driving home because my eyes were still burning and sore. It was just an overall bad experience. The ladies kept apologizing but playing with someone eyes requires more than an apology in my opinion.

One of the best Salons in Norfolk. I Love the atmosphere. I have became a customer of Shiree. She slays the Lace Frontal/Wigs. I purchased the melt (frontal/wig glue) for maintenance. Hands down the best adhesive I have used this far. Thanks Shiree!! Satisfied Customer EVERYTIME!!

Purchased the Melt glue and remover to install my lace front wig. Followed directions and DMd the owner she responded when I asked about how to reduce the shine but when I informed her the glue did not stick very long I didnt get a response I asked about tips and if maybe it was my error..no response. Does not work as advertised on Instagram.

The Dream Stylists here are amazing! I especially love Shiree, Dominique, Jasmine and Lovely! The salon is beautiful and bright! I will definitely be coming back!

I received the wrong wig and was asked to return it and I could pick out any wig from the website no matter the cost... Well guess what after returning the wig I have not received any communication from this company whatsoever. I’ve even d/m the owner myself and received nothing I also texted the assistant and received no response... At this point just refund my money... order#10237 “The Ari” Deepwave.

Was going here to get hair treatments and hair styles regularly but with my last visit I was very unhappy with the quality of my hairstyle. Requested to have my redone but got no response from the hairstylist Shay. Very unprofessional if you want to keep clients which is fine with me I will take my money elsewhere where I can get a hairstyle done right.

Don’t waste your time!!!! Because that’s exactly what I did when I booked an appointment for 8am and waited for 45 minutes and no one ever showed up. I was highly disappointed because I was looking forward to getting my sew in done. Oh well they have lost a customer forever!!!! And they better not charge my card since I had to book through style seat!

I made an appointment TWICE NOW for body sculpting services and on BOTH occasions I had to wait over 20 minutes PAST my scheduled appointment time ! This is very annoying and extremely inconsiderate being that the appointment times are in the middle of the day and I schedule my work day around the SCHEDULED appointment ! The body sculpting services were with the owner and she wasn’t even at the location . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ... Miami clinics are better than this 🙄

I received a sew in with the hair the salon sales , I was not satisfied with my hair for the amount of money I paid , its like a hit or miss with them , I feel every client should have the same quality of hair service .
