This place is my go-to neighborhood gay bar, and let me tell you, the staff here are super friendly. Jesse, the bartender, is simply amazing. Hell treat you like family if you give him a chance to get to know you.Whenever Im feeling bored or lonely, this bar is my top pick for being around other people. Dont let the leather bar vibe intimidate you – its a safe space for everyone, from leather lovers to first-timers.The drinks are reasonably priced, and youll definitely get your moneys worth. But heads up: its cash only, so make sure you have cash before ordering. They do have two ATM machines on site, just in case you forget!Pro tip: Jesses cocktails are as smooth as his charm – you might just stay for one more drink than you planned!Overall, its a fantastic spot to unwind, mingle, and have a great time. Was a cool little place. I wish I was there on a weekend, but came on a Thursday and seemed to get some good traffic after like 10pm I think.Service was pretty good. Drinks were not as strong as most smaller gay bars but were still good and reasonably priced. Have an indoor area with the bar and an outdoor patio with TVs. I could see this place getting rowdy! I will be back next time I am in Cali!

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, fun events, great patio. definitely a place intended for gay. would be nice if there was better bus service to avoid ubering but there’s a bikeway and bike shares nearby leading to the subway so that’s nice. the entrance is also a little hidden and hard to find if you have difficulty seeing (like me)

I like the humble atmosphere here. The drinks are relatively affordable, the guys are nice, and its kinky and nasty just the way I like it. Less pretentious than the eagle.It feels like the popular bar you would expect in some Midwestern state or something.... kind of like youre not in LA.Most importantly, they have a wide variety of events that are well curated. I especially like their glow me night and the interactive fetish nights.

Great gay bar, stiff drinks and fun events! My favorite since it’s very chill vibe - no pretentious weho vibes, very accepting and fun. Mondays are karaoke night! That’s my favorite night.

Great place with really nice feeling. You feel welcome and they have always somethings going on. Wednesdays is drag evening. Good prices on drinks and pitchers. My favorite place to go to have a beer or two.

This situation was on June 9, I was not allowed into the bar! I, as a regular guest of your bar who wastes my time and money, I don’t understand why I couldn’t come in that day! The situation was that I abruptly threw my iPhone at the bar (I didn’t do it on purpose), the bartender of Asian descent (I won’t wake up and don’t know the name) didn’t like it - or it wasn’t a dislike for me! no one gives him the right to allow guests to be served or not!

Great people, smaller bar with adult gay content on screens and mix of patrons. Bar staff were nice. The place is smaller with mostly guys. Had a better home-bar experience rather than a club where you don’t feel like you belong or that the owners are trying to attract straight clientele/straight dancers.

Great people and great drinks. Ive gone with a friend a few times (this used to be his neighborhood bar) and if you come during the day on a weekend, it is absolutely that! If it wasnt so far, we would be here more often. Thanks for all the fun. Oh, and dont miss Drag Bingo with Roxy, if you enjoy that kind of thing. Shes so great! :-)

My very first time here. First off, the crowd is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat and on believable. Everyone seems to be friendly and say hi and overall wants to get to know each other.a nice diverse age range and you automatically feel welcome when you walk in. Drinks were made very well in the staff makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.Tip. Get there early and stay till close it is well worth it.

The area is safe within walking distance to 7Eleven - convenient store to get smokes should you need them. Street parking is a breeze. Arrive early before 10pm for added value drink specials. Free cab to your home if within 5 miles on special holidays such as New Years Eve so you dont drink & drive.

I had high expectations for this place but it was a let down. Yeah its a bar. But if your looking for better music and atmosphere find another place.

One of the friendliest, most authentic, truly kink friendly bars there is. Just moved to LA and hit this place the first l week I was in town on the recommendation of close friends. I instantly felt at home and have every time Ive come back since. Love you guys!

This is a no attitude, gay, neighborhood, dive bar which has had a resurgence lately. Cheap but strong drinks, and an exceptional staff, this place has been around for a minute, and is one of the oldest gay bars in LA. They have a number of event nights which can be off the hook and packed to capacity. Many of the nights cater to specific fetishes, like puppy nights, or diaper nights, so check the calendar online, but even if a specific fetish idnt your bag, go. Nothing will be pushed on you and youll still have fun. Besides fetishes, the have underwear nights, bathhouse nights, viewing parties for everything from AHS to RuPauls Drag Race, they even have a Drag show once a month.Happy hour usually has a good crowd and is a lot fun, Max the bartender is awesome!!! There is plenty of street parking, but I suggest parking on a side street. Burbank Blvd is crowded and Ive seen some hit and runs happen there. Theres also a cool straight bar, The Other Door, just down the street that has a mixed clientele

Signed up for a song only waited for a few hours while his clicks gone twice to sing The worst karaoke kj. Racist, rude, unprofessional and only bring his clicks on stage. Sad reality.

This bar features strong and pretty cheap drinks. I like the fire pit outside on the patio. Dont mind the porn playing on the tv monitors. I generally just come here just for drinks.

The ambience was good. My girl ordered a midori sour and instantly made her throw up. I tried it to make sure it wasnt our new hang out spot and it made me sick too

This gets 5 stars from me because Ive NEVER had a bad experience in this hole-in-the-wall! EVER! Much to be said for karaoke on MONDAYS! The crowd is so down-to-earth.

At the Bullet Bar, we have many types of events for many types of people. The bar has a long history and has gone by several names, including the Hanged Man, the Signal, and for awhile it was a strict uniform club called the Officers Club, and in that incarnation, you werent allowed in the club in street clothes at all. As time has progressed over the last 18 years, the Bullet has become more and more popular with many segments of our ever growing and changing community, and while it holds its standing as one of the only leather bars in Los Angeles County, it also stands as a place where many other parts of our community can mix and hold important fundraisers for various causes that are important for the continuation and heathy living we all want to prosper. Groups like, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Payasos, Bears LA, all hold parties and fundraisers here. Also, Bullet bar is the home bar for several groups such as the Leather Foundation (LA Branch), and is the home bar for the pup community of Los Angeles County. Because of the multitudes of groups and regular patrons that come to Bullet Bar frequently, what you wear to the Bullet is necessarily under any requirements, but for certain events it is encouraged. The underlying atmosphere definitely calls out that this bar has leather roots, and celebrates individuality, and compassion in all types of people.It is d finitely important to note that this bar has two leather title contests that bear the name and insignia of the Bullet. Mr Bullet Leather, which has been going strong since 2001, and recently we held the very first Ms. Bullet Leather contest, in the hopes to continue to strengthen the community by creating equal attention to all LGBTQ people living in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. On a personal note, the owner of the Bullet, Michael Lara, has gone above and beyond in helping me realize my dreams, . After winning Mr Bullet in 2014, he has single handedly helped me strengthen the pup community by leaps and bounds in Los Angeles. The Bullet Bar held our first Los Angeles Pup contest last November, which held scores of pups from different generations in our area.

Frist gay bar ever for me it was clam and everone was nice. I enjoyed my time there even if it was a fetish night.

Bartenders were not friendly especially to a new face.. even gave a 3.00 tip for a 6.00 drink.. no thanks was given.. very click bar
