A year ago i would not have given this location a good review. The massages have always been wonderful but the vibe was way off. They never answered the phone and their turnover was high. Things have done a complete 180 since the new management. The location feels staffed, great energy, focused on customer experience. And Xchotchi is the best massage therapist!! Though you cant go wrong with any of them

Frank didn’t hold back! I told him to not be gentle because I’ve been stressed and he definitely listened! He educated me along the way so that I can have a better quality of life and I appreciated that so much. It was peaceful and everything that I didn’t know I needed. I will be back!!

Charlie has been a huge help in my chronic low back pain and shoulder injuries during my visits over the past year plus.I appreciate how much time she takes to really understand what is bothering me at each appointment. She never rushes and continues to check in *appropriately* throughout the massage to ensure she is not missing anything.She never talks too much and seems to sense each visits vibe resulting in an outstanding massage every time. She has helped me to simply relax and get away from the world for 90 minutes. Or, she has targeted specific injuries and helped work away the pain. She truly focuses on my needs for that visit.Over the past year, I have experienced, and benefited from, Charlie learning new techniques and modalities. She is truly disappointed on the rare occasions that relief is elusive. When it has been, she sought out other remedies and tried them on me at the next visit! I have received massages all over the world for more than 30 years and this was a top 5 for me! He communicated very well with what needs I wanted to achieve. Great foot, hand and back work! True professional! I will definitely be back to see Thomas!

Robert is an excellent masseuse. My only complaint is if Im paying for an hour massage, it needs to begin at 5 min after appt time and end 5 min before. I only got a 40 minute massage in actuality. There should be a button on the bed to press when Im ready. Explain to customers that if they can undress & dress faster theyll get a longer massage. This was only my 2nd time so Ill discuss with him prior to next visit so Im getting the most massage for my money.

Emma was great. Her technique was something i hadn’t experienced in a while. She was able to find knots and engage them in a very relaxing way whiles still releasing the tensed muscles for a good flow.

This is a larger, nicer Massage Envy. Relaxing waiting area. Emma does a great deep tissue massage. I’ll probably make this one my main Massage Envy.

Emma was an amazing therapist. She had some great techniques! She was also very aware of my needs and would change pressures depending on different parts of the body. Highly recommend her. Massage has so many benefits besides feeling good but it felt great!

Emma was awesome for our 60 minute session. I have had pain in my traps and back for over 2 months and in 60 minutes she was able to release my trigger points. Was it a bit painful? Yes but I knew it would be and now I can shrug my shoulders without being in pain! Highly recommend Emma, she listens to your concerns and the tailored experience was just what my body needed to start healing! Cant wait to see her in March!!!

This was my first experience at this location and it was PHENOMENAL! Abby, my masseuse was amazing and I left feeling like a million bucks! The front desk staff were so friendly and help me tremendously in getting my account moved from out of state as I recently moved here. I am so pleased I came across this ME location and I am looking forward many fantastic sessions there!

My therapist didnt show up. No-one checked on me I honestly believe they would have let me set there all night. It just doesnt seem like they have their business quite together. Keep looking.

I’ve been going to Charlie for about 4 months now, and it has become the highlight of my month! She does a fantastic job and really seems to care about wanting me to walk out more relaxed than I entered.

I booked a last minute massage with Lily and I’m very glad I did. She was very thorough with the consultation, making sure that we were both on the same page. She checked in periodically to ensure the pressure was just right but otherwise it was a quiet relaxing session which is just what I needed. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a leg/foot massage as much I did this one. Will definitely be back!

Charlie is Hilarious but she has been VERY good at focus points, for being fairly new she has learned a lot of techniques. But I dont want to leave others out in this review that have done well for me, Abby and Emma have been helping my recovery from an ongoing muscle strain this past year. Cant thank them enough for putting up with me lol.

I have back issues that are helped by monthly massages. Michael does a wonderful job at deep tissues massage that allows my muscles to release and relax. Helping to relieve & prevent back pain. I am thankful for a therapy that doesnt require medication.

Was easy to get in for a last minute appointment. Clean. Good location. And front desk gals were very sweet.My massage was ok. I could tell my masseuse was young and still learning. I definitely think she will do well over time with more experience. I probably wont schedule another appointment with her at this time.The music wasnt working that day unfortunately. Never would have thought it would make such a big difference during massage. Highly recommend playing music on your phone until fixed. Im sure they already got the music back up and running though.Other than a couple hiccups, massage envy is always good/reasonably priced.

Robert was really good! I have a very bad back due to a car accident, and get nervous when someone touch’s it. I felt very comfortable and at ease. I have a lot of his clients for facials and they talk very highly of him. He definitely did not disappoint! The last 30 minutes I fell asleep!

My boyfriend surprised me with a massage here but ended up going to the wrong location. We were almost ten minutes late and they still accepted us for the service. Abby was amazing, patient , and kind and did great work! She was so personable and made the atmosphere and the massage really relaxing and comfortable. I’ve never gotten a massage before, but the experience was amazing. I had a lot of neck and shoulder tension from work and Abby did amazing getting them out. She definitely deserves a pay raise 😉. Abby did everything I had asked her to do. This was my first time and I knew I had a lot of knots but I didn’t want to hurt either so I asked her to take it easy the first time and she followed instructions. I was happy with her and the whole day and night I did not have a headache

There are several massage therapists at Olathe Point who are seasoned and expert at helpful targeting painful or tight areas and providing an overall therapeutic massage. Lisa is someone I try to work with as often as our schedules allow. Robert has great skill in increasing flexibility through stretching,Recently I have had reasons to be thankful to the managment staff for helping me problem solve around my availability issues. It was serveral weeks before I could get back in to even address the issue, yet Leah, not only remembered my name, she recalled the problem. I was so impressed! She expressed empathy and caring about the lapse in time, not knowing I was the one, everyone was waiting on! She quickly found the new manager, Mickie, who also remembered the situation that Brittney started to address serveral weeks earlier. Mickie provided a resolution. So thankful to move forward and enjoy all the services of Massage Envy.

Michael is good at the firm pressure that I need, verifying when I occasionally react when he is working on a specific muscle group. I feel immediate benefits when I stand up from the table!

I typically dont leave reviews like this but it has to be said. This specific location is unprofessional. I called to schedule a 30 minute appointment for sciatica pain since the hr long 120 appointment for new members was a bit out of budget. The receptionist booked it and all seemed well. However, a few minutes later he calls back and tells me that a masseuse named Shelby backed out since she didnt want to do the 30 minute massage. Then proceeds to tell me that most masseuses there dont want to waste their time doing a 30 minute massage and finally managed to find a guy named Tyler to do it. I decided to cancel because the whole experience was rude and unprofessional. I was looking for a service for my pain and didnt expect to be treated that way. Book at your own risk.

I have seen a few other massage therapists at M.E. and Tyler is the only professional I will see. Not only is his technique excellent, he also listens. This is so important for those of us who suffer pain and discomfort, above and beyond looking for some relaxation.

Over 3 months ago, I accidentally booked an appointment online with the Olathe South location and showed up to the Olathe Pointe location where I thought I had booked originally. The assistant manager at this location assured me it was no problem and booked me an appointment at the same time at their location. When I was done with my massage, I had 3 missed calls from Olathe South and was informed I was considered a “no call no show” and would be charged a $100 fee. I immediately told the assistant manager who assured me it would be sorted out in a couple days. After weeks and countless phone calls to this location, the $100 has still never been refunded to me. The manager explained to me that Massage Envy policy states employees are required to call the correct location of booking and ask if they are allowed to book me instead. Unlike the Olathe South manager, this manager took my calls several times and, I believe, tried to help me as best as they could, but ultimately stopped calling to keep me updated. I understand that I made a mistake, but I don’t understand why I am required to pay a $100 fee when I was unable to answer my phone because I was physically incapacitated in a massage with the same company who uses the same booking system to track their clients. This experience has been incredibly stressful and disheartening, all while finding out I was pregnant and dealing with rough first trimester systems. Needless to say, I don’t have much hope in getting my money back, but I am hoping to help save someone from this same situation.

This massage envy is a well ran store. The people here are always very nice! The Lenexa location cancelled on me like 6 consecutive appointments. then I got in once with a seventh cancellation right after. I have been a member for a year now. tried to work with them but all they would do for me was credit for oils and aromatherapy even though I drove to the store once before finding out it was cancelled. The Olathe 119th location is great! I recommend Amber or Tyler they are great therapist! Im sure they are all super youll find someone here to melt stress away!

They basically just said sorry and that they couldn’t do anything. What a waste of time. Needs better communication with customers and better management of employees!

I bought the membership over a year ago. I had several different massage therapists that smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that by the time I leave I’m congested (I’m allergic).I also splurged on a facial which ended badly. The anesthetician must’ve been new. Within a day my eye lids started to swell and peel. I had to go to a doctor and they advised me that the anesthetician had sold me a chemical that was not to be applied to the eyes and they had given me bad information.When my year membership was over I asked to end my membership. I was told that I could not end it without speaking to a manager but the manager wasn’t available. I have been in three times yet there’s still never a manager available to speak with. I finally told the front desk that they needed to leave a message with the manager to cancel my membership.I received a voicemail from a manager saying that we could “discuss options”. I received terrible service and they still won’t cancel my membership.I have emailed management telling them that there were no options, that I received terrible service, that I have repeatedly tried to cancel my membership and I just want it done. I received no response. I just checked my credit card and I am still being charge for a membership I do not want.They have failed with service, customer service, and refuse to end my membership. At this point I have no other options but to take it to the Better Business Bureau.I would be very leery of signing up for a membership with an organization that refuses to acknowledge that you no longer want the membership due to bad service.

All I can say is RUN!!!! Horrible management and business practices. There has not been a full-time manager there for over a year. In fact, when asked what her last name was,she 26thnot one employee knew what it was. When I asked for cancelation paperwork to be emailed to me, Seth refused! I had to drive 50 miles round trip to come in and sign it, and then deal with his arrogance. I have him on video saying he doesnt care how he behaves because he will probably be fired anyway!

I got a giftcard for mothers day and I was less then impressed. I was sore for five days afterward and I didnt ask for a hard massage. It hurt so bad and I will never return again.

I went the first time a 3 months ago to get a massage and showed up early to fill out all the forms massage was great so i came back this weekend. i got there right on time bc i thought i didnt have to fill out the forms bc i had already done it. but the dumb receptionists lost all my info and made me redo it all which cut into my massage time. they said they told me to be there 15 minutes early but they never actually did. and i specified that i had been there before when booking my massage. So i had to fill out everything again but their ipads werent loading and taking even more time out of my massage. my massage that was SUPPOSED TO BE AN HOUR WAS 35 MINUTES. i was not happy and asked if the manager could call me and have not received that call yet do better next time massage envy
